The office person, Lenny, if that's her real name seems to not be able to answer simple questions when a potential customer calls. When one ask to get a call back from owner, Mike Jones, there isn't a call back! I wouldn't recommend this company to anyone! This company isn't what it use to be with Charna and Kyle. As I see it this company has been going down hill and will likely continue if Lenny is still there! WILL NOT RECOMMEND PROLAWNS! Finally, I did receive a phone call from MIKE JONES, all he did was SCREAM for I told him I didn't need his services and how bad Lenny was! oh Mike did say he has over 500 customers in Tallahassee.....funny how I had received an email on May 24, 2024 stating that "Prolawns is taking new clients if you need lawn maintenancem sod installations, Cleanouts, any type of yard work to please call" And the email said they offer great prices and even a better service....lol lol If one has over 500 clients why are they looking for more clients??? I bet IRS would like to audit the company!
I finally parted ways with them. Started off as a great company, but they are now terrible at communicating. They charged me for service that they never performed. I was working from home and received a text that service was completed... in the middle of a thunderstorm. I walked out to head to work and realized they never showed up or performed any service. I was told that they must have gone to the wrong address, this is after 7 to 8 years of service. They have killed our trellis jasmine twice and have been lazy with the bush service. It went from managed to completely overgrown. They have almost doubled all their prices and service got worse. I started when Kyle was the owner and operator. Didn't realize he either left or sold the business.
The service started out good but the crew damaged the lawn in the backyard May 2023. I sent pictures, left messages no response to this date. Poor customer service. I would not recommend this lawn service. Update: I work during the day and therefore is not likely to be home. You have both my cell number and house number and I have no record of calls from the company. You have my email address and no record of a response from you. I’m told you were very disrespectful to the woman from the agency that contacted you on my behalf. As a matter of fact, she reports that you were nasty. It was also reported that you now want to suggest that it’s been a year and there may have been other companies. Sir, Pro Lawns is the only company cutting my lawn until fall 2023. Grass is beginning to grow back in the damaged area caused by your crew. Be gracious and let me know 1) how long will re-growth take and 2) what else can be done to restore that area?
Mike was the total professional! We re-sodded the entire yard with Zoysia grass - 25 pallets. His crew got up the old, bad grass and weeds, smoothed and landscaped for the yard drainage system, and then laid down new sod. Hard working crew! Final job looks great! Thanks Mike and crew for a super great job!!
So far they are reliable which is a plus but not impressed with the results base on the price I pay. For example the grass grows through cracks in the drive but they don't run the weedeater over the weeds nor do they weedeat around the back porch. Only now half of the grass between the driveway between mine and my neighbors condo. Just sloppy work overall but they show up. UPDATE once I posted this review a very angry man called me from Pro lawn saying I was "blowing up" google giving his company a bad review. Not apologizing and offering to correct the problem at all. In fact he told me to find another lawn service which I will gladly do of course. Horrible company. Uses intimidation as a form of communication. Way over priced for little to no work. $45 buys you 15 minutes.
Mike and his crew did an excellent job! They laid new sod for my front yard about a month ago. My yard looks beautiful thank you so much!
I called them on Monday, Feb. 12th. They came on Tuesday and did more than I realized needed to be done. I am very appreciative for their work, and will recommend them to anyone needing their skills. Thanks again!
I recently moved into a new house and hired ProLawns based on the referral of my realtor Cate from Manausa Real Estate to put mulch and perimeter guard around the garden boxes surrounding the edge of my house. I was told one price but then ended up having to pay a couple hundred dollars more due to a miscalculation. Furthermore, Mike told me that I would have five to six extra bags of mulch left over due to the miscalculation, but never saw them. I also had hired them to cut my lawn in November, but they never came out and still haven t after almost three months. When I called and asked about it, I was met with an unprofessional attitude. Overall, the company is dishonest, unprofessional, and does not do quality work for the prices they charge. I would not recommend ProLawns to anyone looking to have lawn and landscaping work done.
Please stop blowing leaves from your customers lawns onto their neighbor s and all over the sidewalk and street. Its extremely unprofessional. Every time you visit I know the neighborhood is going to look a little worse.

Im using ProLawns and the workers are very courteous and do a good job. They let you know by text before and after service. The best part is they provide you with a client portal to see your service schedule and you can pay on-line and it generates a receipt. I recommend them.
Ive been using ProLawns for Lawn Maintenance as well as other services. They are dependable and do an excellent job. If something isnt done correctly, I know that a phone call is all thats needed to make it right.

I scheduled an appointment two days prior to get an estimate. No one showed up. No one called. I called their office 30 minutes after appointment time to let them know no one showed up or called. The office person verified the appointment, and I was told they would notify the supervisor to have him call me. He never called. He never showed up. Maybe they do good work, but this speaks poorly about their dependability and professionalism. 10/8/22: Thank you for reaching out and the offer to make it up to me. Its appreciated even though my review was two years ago. I no longer live in Tally.
They are a bit pricey, but I really liked the workers. They were always extremely polite and informative.
First time using a landscape company. Michael was very friendly and upfront with my project. Completed in timely manner and employees were very professional. My dogs never barked. Look forward to future projects.

I contacted them to get an estimate and go over some information. My life has become extremely busy lately and I forgot to get back with them and I also accidentally deleted their original quote. They send me an automative message asking me if Im still looking. I reply respectfully that I had lost the original quote, or it was never sent, seeing as how its not in my email. They take the time out of their day to prove me wrong by send me a picture that I opened it and proceed to yell at me for it. I naturally tell them Im going somewhere else and they tell me that theyre extremely busy and that I should. Anyone looking for lawn service, just keep in mind, theyre extremely busy and cant help you.
I can not say enough about Mike but more importantly his crew. They did an AMAZING job on my backyard. The finished product far exceeded my expectations. His crew worked hard and finished even quicker than I thought. I would recommend them to anyone looking to get their yards done.

As a purchasing professional I value customer service and efficiency. I was selling my house and needed to get the yard cleaned up. I contacted Pro Lawn and talked to Mike. He was very open and pleasant to speak to and within a couple of days I had a crew in my yard doing their thing. The pricing was more than fair for the amount of work needed. The office staff were nice and very professional on the phone. Mike himself was extremely responsive at nearly any time I had available to communicate and fit my schedule as best he could. The job itself was done quickly and efficiently and I was very satisfied with the end result. Keep it up Mike!

Kyle at Prolawns was a pleasure to work with. He did the entire sod job at our Velosolutions pump track at Tom Brown park in Tallahassee, FL. His timing, and availability were on point. He also went the extra mile by sending me pictures, and videos of the track while I travel to the next build. His lawn tips are also very useful as well. The only issues we had through the entire experience was my miscalculation of how much sod we would need so we went through a few quotes which got confusing but in the end, I was happy, the park was happy, and I would gladly use prolawns again.
This has been a great lawn care business for my home. All service requests were handled promptly and professionally. They always did an amazing job with my lawn. If I hadn t moved to North Carolina, I would have continued using their services for a very long time!

ProLawns is the best landscaping service that i have encountered in Tallahassee. I had requested for quotes from multiple vendors for landscaping job at home and Prolawns came up with most competitive bid with compreshensive coverage. On the day of gig, Kyle and his team showed up before the scheduled time and spent more time than expected to complete the job. I am really happy with final work product and would definitely recommend Prolawns for any lawn care solutions in Tallahassee.

Weve used ProLawns for 2 years now and they have totally transformed our lawn. Our front yard was full of dead spots and over grown around the trees. ProLawns has turned it into a yard full of green grass and beautifully kept garden areas. Our yard has transformed so much that 3 of our neighbors have started using ProLawns for their yards too.

Prolawns is AMAZING. We have used them for a year and a half and couldnt be more please. They do our regular lawn maintenance and have also done larger landscaping projects for us. The owner Kyle is educated about the lawn business and is professional and prompt. Anytime we have a request or question he gets back to us quickly and is more than willing to meet with us and start our next project or answer questions. We love lawn day because each time we come home the yard looks beautiful and new again. We have nothing but wonderful to say about prolawns and you will be more than pleased with their professionalism and high quality work.

I had to get my yard ready quickly for photos to put it on the market. I dont think anybody else could have done the job in such a timely fashion, at a great price, and made it look so good. If I would have known how affordable they were, I would have had them doing it the whole time I was living there!

From start to finish prolawns really nailed it when it came to customer service and follow through. We had an interesting landscape design plan that was brought up on a computer that could actually show us the design concept and man did they follow through. I highly recommend if you are shopping Landscape Design companies This is certainly your company!

I just moved into a new home a few months ago, and had a very bad experience with a technician installing cable service. I became very nervous, and cautious regarding anyone else coming to my home for any kind of service. Kyle has helped me begin to change my opinion!. He has been kind, and consciences with his work, and interactions with me. His work ethics are impeccable! It is heartwarming to find that there are young men out there who value family and hard work! I would recommend him 100%. And the lawn looks great!
My girl friends house was up for sale, and her previous land care person was unavailable to take care of the lawn before the house was being shown. I spoke with Kyle the night before, he was able to get there first thing in the morning, and she was very impressed with his work, the best its ever looked. the Pro lawn team is extremely punctual and professional.
