Blade and Marco from Urban Roots Landscaping arrived promptly on the scheduled day to prepare my lawn for winter. They were polite, asked questions to clarify, and completed the job very professionally. Worth every penny to not have to rake wet, slimy leaves!

Needed a river rock border around the house to keep pests away and Urban Roots came to our rescue! I appreciated their respect for my time, effective communication, minimal wait times, and quality of work. I want to give an extra shout out to Blady and Udiel who were on the project for the entire duration, as well as Charly and Jamai who were also present at times.

Charlie, Marco, and Uriel did pruning, weeding, and general cleanup at my property today. They did a fantastic job and I will definitely use Urban Roots again in the future. Very professional, prompt, and great workers.

These guys are fantastic! Long story short is that due to my working overtime in a fairly physical position, and my wife being disabled, we weren t able to keep up on our yard through the spring and beginning of summer. Thus, the place was a mess. Old planter boxes that were falling apart, ivy, the dreaded blackberry bushes the list goes on. Urban Roots really knocked it out of the park, and helped us get back to neutral mode so we can start again fresh for the rest of the year. They even talked to my wife about a few ideas for future landscaping and offered suggestions. We absolutely will be return customers! Thank you all so much!

We had Urban Roots Landscaping out for a clean-up of our property this spring. Over the course of two-and-a-half days, Cesar and Pablo made our front and back yards look amazing. Thanks to their work, our plants are pruned, healthy, and ready for the growing season. Cesar and Pablo are friendly and kind, and they checked in regularly to ensure their work was meeting expectations. On the customer-service front, Dylan and Michael are great communicators. From the initial estimate through project completion, they responded to all our questions promptly and helped us workshop various landscaping challenges. Our project was fairly complex and they brought creativity and a willingness to think outside the box to every challenge. We wholeheartedly recommend Urban Roots and are excited to continue working with them!

Hands down, best experience I have ever had!!! Showed up on time! And did more than expected to make my yard look beautiful!! Def recommend!!

Unfortunately we cannot recommend them. They charged us half for the deposit, and then charged us the ENTIRE amount at the end. This was not caught by them but by us: when we called, we were then told wed get a call back. They didnt call back so I had to follow up, and then it was fixed. The topsoil they brought to us had a ton of gravel in it: Its so much rock that my elderly mother is having a difficult time digging in it (and this was for her). When we simply asked them to remove the extra that we paid for (free to my dirt for the and it wasnt the quality we were expecting) they said theyd be happy to charge us for the haul away. Again, wouldnt recommend.

Several months ago Urban Roots replaced my pest-destroyed back lawn with new sod. They worked efficiently and quickly, and the project was completed sooner than estimated. I have received many compliments on my new lawn. This week I saw a UR crew finishing a job in my neighborhood and asked if they would be able to whack down some impressive weeds for me. They graciously and quickly did it for me before heading to their next job. I appreciated their friendly and professional willingness to help me out on the spur of the moment.

We had 7 yards of wood chip mulch spread around our property by Jose, Mike and Jeremy from Urban roots landscaping. They did a great job. Their communication was great and the really worked to make the final product exactly as we wanted it. They worked very quickly too, literally jogging with wheel barrows full of Mulch. What a work ethic. Urban roots was prompt with the initial quote and stuck to the agreed schedule.

Jose & Mike did an outstanding job. Our yard had been overgrown for years and they and their team managed to prune, trim, weed, mow, lay mulch and clean it up in a short amount of time. It was a huge amount of work. They were very communicative, reliable and hardworking. It looks like a brand new yard!

Urban Roots has been great so far regarding lawn maintenance, so we figured we would give them a shot at a larger project. We had them clean out our flower beds and reshape the bushes along the front of our house. Everything was overgrown, vines growing up the walls, etc. Mike and Jeremy were amazing and very professional. Spoke with them in the morning to confirm the scope, they worked throughout the day and reviewed the project with me when completed. The effort is much appreciated gentlemen!

Urban Roots is what we all want a company to be. Dylan was extremely responsive and full of insight as to how to improve my yard. His team showed up on time, didn t take a break, got the yard situated, did a great job putting things back in place; while still taking time to educate me on the process of proper maintenance. Urban Roots Landscaping is amazing for your landscaping needs! They were actually our 4th contractor that worked on our landscaping within the past couple years as there was always something we were unhappy about with our previous landscapers. I expressed to them that I value communication greatly and they have been upfront and transparent about all work to be done. Shoutout to Charly and Jarred as the work done was superb! Charly asked me to come out multiple times to make sure they did what I wanted and everything was to my liking. They were also punctual and answered any of my questions with great knowledge and I appreciated any suggestions about things I didn t know about. Overall they are pricier than other competitors, but the work speaks for themselves. Honestly what I appreciated most besides the good work was the positive communication and transparency with everything being done because there was always some form of communication that went wrong with the other companies. Also shoutout to Dylan as any miscommunication that we did have was promptly addressed and I appreciated that a lot. I highly recommend this landscaping company!

We contacted Urban Roots to remove a bush from our yard and had a really great experience. Dylan was super responsive and very flexible with scheduling. The team did an excellent job removing the bush. It was very efficient and they did a great job with clean-up. We will definitely call Dylan next time we need landscaping help!

Dylan was going to come out on July 8th to give me an estimate on things I wanted to have done in my backyard. Its now July 14th and he never showed up or contacted me to say he wasnt going to be able to make it. I have since hired another landscape company that came out, listened to what I requested, made some great suggestions and gave me an estimate later the same day they came out. They will start working on my backyard in August.

Dylan and his crew showed up at the appointed time. We did a walk through to make sure they were clear on everything I wanted done, then got right to work. They dug out sod and created 2 new garden beds, trimmed a 70 hedge and huge Bay Laurel (I have done it myself in the past and I know it is hard work). They brought in Tagro barkdust and carefully put it in around our plants and flowers. After a thorough clean up, we did a walk through to make sure I was satisfied with the job. Dylan, Indy, Jevon, and Jose seemed to have fun as they worked, but kept on task all day. It was 8 solid hours and the cost was very fair. Give them a call.

The work that Urban Roots did was exceptional. I m so happy with my yard, they left no stone unturned. The workers were pleasant n very professional. Ryan has a very easygoing disposition. I highly recommend them, you won t be disappointed.

We were referred to Urban Roots Landscaping by a neighbor with a beautiful looking yard. Dylan saved us in a pinch when we needed a yard clean up project that turned into regular maintenance until we could sell our house. They cleaned up the yard quickly and for a great price in the middle of the summer busy season when others wouldnt take us on with such a short timeline. The work looked great and automatic billing was a breeze!

I wish I had taken a before photo but thoroughly impressed with Urban Roots level of service and communication. I needed my fence line completely dug out and down in addition to having mulch installed. They were able to knock it out in and afternoon and everything looks so much better. My trees have some breathing room now. I will definitely be using them for other projects!

Dylan and his crew did a great job replacing the grass in my front parkway and replacing it with some landscaping rocks and low-water plants. They also weeded and mulched existing garden beds. Very knowledgable and had lots of suggestions about types of materials and plant care.

I had a very messy alleyway behind my garage and two makeshift parking spots. Dylan and Mike came in cleaned up, regraded and put down gravel. The parking spaces dont look makeshift anymore! I hope the neighbors follow suit. Make this alley shine. They also cleaned out around a giant blue spruce. Just beautiful. Brings the garden together. Great work and very friendly. The workers at Urban Roots Landscaping are very reliable, always very friendly, and consistently leave my property looking fantastic. The lawn looks great and trim.
