I rented a home with a gravel driveway and a yard that had been neglected and abused for years. Uneven land with unexpected garden rocks. For a reasonable price, Arete never complained but made regular visits and helped clean the place up. The guys who did the work are all respectful, friendly, honest and helpful. In the local office, Santiago is a star! At 4 years I had to move but was glad to leave it in much better condition. Thanks

These guys are super efficient and quick, with really affordable rates. I've been using them for almost a year now and they're the best lawn service, no doubt about it! My tech today did an awesome job, even trimming my bushes shorter without any questions. He was new but had no problems and did a great job. Fast, reliable, and shows up to get it done right. My tec today did a awesome job!!! My yard had tall grass and I had him cut it shorter then normal and he did not not question me. He went on with the work and did a great job. He said he was new and had no problem. I would like him back.
Arete Lawn Care I had an extremely disappointing experience with Arete Lawn Care over the past two years. Their lack of professionalism and poor service has been consistent throughout my engagement with them. **Punctuality and Reliability**: Arete never adhered to the scheduled times or days for lawn care, which was frustrating and inconvenient. It seemed they didn't prioritize my property, possibly because it was a rental. **Quality of Work**: The lawn was consistently neglected, with weeds everywhere and no tree trimming, despite my specific requests. Their attention to detail was severely lacking, leading to a neglected and unsightly yard. **Customer Service**: Communication with Arete was a nightmare. They never addressed contract renewals and the contract automatically renewed unless I canceled it beforehand. I constantly had to monitor and remind them of their duties, which was a hassle. The owner, Johnathan, was particularly rude and unhelpful whenever issues were raised. **Overall Experience**: I deeply regret hiring Arete Lawn Care. Their service was subpar, and their attitude was unprofessional. I wouldn't recommend this company to anyone looking for reliable and quality lawn care. Just look at this photo bellow of the type of job they do.

The work that is done when you guys are here is good but when we expected you here last week no one came by and there was no communication to let us know why. When can we expect someone to come by?
They do the bare minimum work at a premium cost. Would never recommend. Just pay local kids.

Terrible owner. Santiago was RUDE as hell. TOOK $600 dollars from my mom before we even agreed to the service or had an appointment set. What a SCAM! Will be taking legal action. Don t get your lawn services here!! COME HERE IF YOU WANT YOUR MONEY WASTED!!

I have heart problems so it s extremely difficult for me to get outside and rake by up the 50 bags of leaves that are from trees that are not even on my property. Service like I ve never seen before( an I m old . so I know what service stands for. )This lawn service is definitely above all others when it comes to politeness & excellent. They do what they say they re going to do . I recommend there services to anyone.

Idiots they had my address ..and after several phone calla and text and waiting around all day..they suddenly state they do t serve my area...wth..you had my address and confirmed arriving .then 7 hours later decide to finally tell Mr ypu do t serve this area???
Terrible lawn service. At first it was just that they didnt want to spray for weeds. It took 3 requests for them to finally spray and it was just here and there. Next it was when they shaved down the creeping ground cover that we labeled and specifically pointed out to stay away from. When they do any edging they left grass and debris in the driveway and walkway.. Then they only mowed when they wanted to. If Im paying for a service I expect you to mow every time. Even if its just to cut down the weeds you dont spray for.
Horrible lawn care service. Do not use. Did not mow, went around with a weed whacker & left a huge mess in my garden beds and on my driveway. Destroyed my plants. These guys are lazy, messy and sloppy. Stay away from Arete Lawn Care Services of Puyallup. Waste of money and huge disappointment. Absolutely terrible!

Service not great, our property manager could barely tell when they had come or not. And they often missed appointments. We signed up for a 1 year service, we sold the property and they refused to refund us for any of the unused time. I would not recommend them to anyone.
What they dont tell you is that there is a 2 month penalty fee if you want to cancel it before a year. I posted this comment on their FB ad, and they blocked me. Why are you so sensitive about it when that is the truth ? Is it because you know it is outrageous?
Todays routine visit left my yard thoroughly mown and trimmed, with the added service of leaf-blowing my outdoor deck and steps. I am completely happy with this service!

They are a fake company. We signed up for one year contract. They dont show up on time. No one answers the customer service number they provide which is the only way to contact them. One of the worst experience we ever had. Never get into their trap. Highly disappointed, just waste of time.

I asked them for weed control and I have more weeds now than ever before not happy with the performance lawn looks okay.. they cut the edge but leaves the grass that is growing into the flower beds..
