I’ve been working on my lawn myself the past 6 months a lot with fertilizing, weed killing, top soil, and seeding and at this point I desperately need aeration to improve it any more. Aeration is a bit of work and id have to drive hours to go rent one. Got multiple quotes and American was the most professional, responsive and the price was competitive. Got aeration and overseeding done. Dono C. was the tech and he was very polite and professional. Did a great job. Lots of plugs out on the lawn and seeds. We have a small driveway and they slotted us first thing in the morning so we had some musical cars action but the Mrs was very impressed with how personable and accommodating Dono was. As a bonus they blew the leaves off our driveway too which was nice. Price was reasonable. Customer service and rep phone staff are very responsive as I requested multiple estimates revisions from them for different areas and they were congenial about all of that as well. They are also very knowledgeable about what they’re doing and throw in some tips that really make a difference. I’m considering hiring them as a full time lawn treatment service.
I have been using American Lawn & Tree Service for 3 seasons now. When service initially started Dono C. assessed my back yard problem (not being able to grow grass in certain areas). By the end of the first season the problem was resolved and the company has provided quality service since. I have used several other companies in the past with minimal results, and have been satisfied the most with American Lawn & Tree. Dono was out on the last treatment and did a great job with the aeration, etc. The company always sends an email in advance of each service and the techs are always responsive to any questions I may have. I highly recommend this lawn company.
Our lawn previously had lots of weeds and bare spots we did our best to improve. After using American Lawn & Tree Specialist not only did we notice the difference but so did our friends and neighbors. Following their services the bare spots filled in and there were less weeds resulting in a much nicer greener lawn.
2 years ago my front and back lawn was a disaster (think dirt, clumps of greenish weeds, some struggling grass). I contacted American Lawn and Tree in the fall of 2015 and gave them a try. The lawn made an immediate rebound with only the few remaining fall treatments plus their aeration & over seeding. By the middle of 2016 the lawn appeared almost totally rejuvenated - just some minor holes to be filled in. Joe, the owner, makes a surprise visit one day to review our progress and makes recommendations on how to proceed to get the best results. The awesome thing is that Joe and my normal lawn tech fully answer my questions, make recommendations and help me to help myself. For instance, Mike the lawn tech, tells me where to purchase the best seed & how to go about filling in the small areas remaining because he knows I like to fool around outside. I've followed his advice with immediate superior results. I've used all the other services and tried for years to "do it myself" but that always eventually failed. In the end I was paying money for below average results. I can't buy the same quality of treatment materials that they get, I can't get apply the same application in the manner they do it, I travel a lot and can't get the timely treatments done perfectly every time...on & on...American Lawn does all this and then takes the time to give me timely pointers on what to attend to next. Yes, I spend more now then doing it myself but the extra money spent is negligible and the results are incredible. The lawn appears full and is lush green in 2017. When friends visit they always say, "what do you do to your lawn"; the mail man actually said that he could not believe the turnaround. If you love tinkering around outside but get frustrated because your lawn looks like a war zone or you just can't get it the way you want it, give these guys a try, you won't be sorry.

2020 was our first full season with American Lawn and Tree Specialists to fertilize and care for our lawn, and its never looked better! We never used a lawn company for the 20 years weve lived in Perry Hall. Instead, I religiously used the Scotts 4 Step Annual Program and our lawn was okay - nothing special. American Lawn and Tree was highly recommended by Dennis at Buddy Boy Landscaping, when our lawn was attacked by Red Thread in 2019. Mark Woods came over quickly and diagnosed our problem, but unfortunately it was too late in the season to reverse the damage. Our lawn looks absolutely great - very green and healthy. Were highly satisfied with their customer service and the very quick responses to questions. Theyre pleasant to talk to over the phone. We added the full season of disease control this year. I highly recommend American Lawn and Tree Specialists - they will take great care of your lawn

Our Technician Chris Cocker is friendly and informative about the lawn. Were thankful that it was not too late in the season to correct the damage. And definitely have the soil test done that was a goldmine! American Lawn & tree provided aeration and over seeding after failure of my lawn contractor to deliver the service. Joe Perry received my request and turned delivery around in less than a week. The tech, Dono, did a great job - quick and clean. Very professional company. I will be using them going forward.
Used them for two years with no issues but this year they jacked my price by 50 dollars a treatment! And when I called her explanation was that I dont know how you got that price in the first place . Well I didnt give myself that price Lol! Needless to say I recieved a quote with a different company for a much better price.
Ive had an excellent business relationship with American Lawn and Tree Specialists, Inc. Their attention to problems in my lawn is professional and they care about my property. They strive to keep lawn pests under control. Their technicians are mindful to close the gates. Weve had American Tree and Lawn for about 3 months now. They did an initial analysis of our lawn and created a proposal. Mark explained everything in non industry terms so it made sense and we began a course of treatment. We also did a soul analysis to see what we had missing or too much of. Turned out we needed a few additional nutrients so we added those and man has it worked. Back yard has never looked so full and uniform in green grass. The areas in our shady area that were already challenged are also starting to fill in. Front yard is coming along nicely, and since we are fighting our neighbors weed infestation its taking a little longer, but what we have is looking great. Very pleased we made the switch, and we are seeing nice results. They always call before they come out, and are very responsive to emails. We would highly recommend them to anyone who wants a full service company to do whats right for their lawn.

We had actually been having it treated by a different company and were just not happy. We called America, they were professional and prompt to give us an estimate and our yard is beautiful! New to American Lawn...but they turned our yard around late summer (the hardest time). Hired a competitor (LD) early spring hoping to maintain our newly laid sod. By late July our lawn was horrible. Mark Wood stopped by and conducted a thorough consultation. The results are great!! Grass is thick and crab grass is gone!! Recommend highly.
Their Spring treatment made my lawn look like carpeting all summer. Lush and green. They did everything they said they were going to do and then some! Great job!!!
We have been with American for a couple of years now and are very satisfied dealing with them. When we spotted a problem with scale on our cherry trees they came the next day and continued to do followup visits until the issue was mitigated. Very responsive good service.
