These guys are AWESOME. We worked with Jeff to replace & install a retaining wall in our backyard as well as insert some Zyosia turf in a few places on our property (not pictured). One of the things I was amazed with was these guys operated FAST and at a fantastic price. This project of updating the retaining wall involved removal of six trees, which the team did safely and quickly. We are thrilled with the way the work turned out, and will be using Jeff and his team for future projects on our backyard.
In the Summer of '22, we were faced with having to replace our extensive two-tier, railroad tie retaining walls in our backyard. After roughly 40 yrs, the walls had begun to rot and deteriorate significantly. In the process, we had a few evaluations and estimates from various companies specializing in residential retaining walls resulting in us considering a couple different material options. We had to keep in mind a practical solution to maintain the sloping earth while wanting an aesthetically pleasing landscape feature. After careful consideration, we selected Georgia Outdoor Services, Hamilton and his team for the job. We cannot be more pleased with the entire process - from the beginning to the end. Hamilton was extremely communicative throughout, his installation team were very accommodating of adjustments along the way, performed quality work and were very conscious of leaving the worksite tidy every day up till the end. We highly recommend Georgia Outdoor Services and will be using them in the future as the need arises. Quality work, quality people! P.S. Update, March 18, 2023: A day or two after I wrote this review, the owner of the company, Mike, contacted me about this issue. A week later, the defective blocks were replaced. I am still leaving my one star review as a warning to prospective customers, though. It should not have taken nearly 10 months to get defective blocks replaced; but I do appreciate Mike stepping in to finally resolve the issue for me. Original review, early March 2023: After spending tens of thousands of dollars to have Georgia Outdoor Services install a retaining wall, patio, and sod, I’ve found that their “100% guarantee on all services” holds no water. A week or two after they finished the job for us in May 2022, I noticed a few spots of the retaining wall where red clay was visible. Upon mentioning this to Hamilton Tate, our project manager, he said he had never seen anything like that before and was going to check with some colleagues to find out what could have caused that to happen. A few weeks later, Hamilton said he heard from someone else in the industry who had a customer that had the same stone we had and experienced the same issue. He said there was a supply chain issue getting more stone; but as soon as it was available, he would have someone come out to replace the defective portions of the wall. Fast forward to February 2023 and I have had zero proactive communication from Hamilton about resolving this problem. I’ve contacted him three times about this issue. Most recently, in December 2022, Hamilton told me I was “at the top of the list” for repair once rainy weather cleared. It’s been two months since then and I’ve heard nothing else from Hamilton. I cannot recommend Georgia Outdoor Services. Based on my experience, if anything goes wrong with your project, they’ll have your money and you’ll be stuck waiting on them to do repairs.
Hamilton and his team did a fantastic job in our back yard. We had new sod put down and a 12’x12’ turf area installed for a golf hitting area. Could not be happier with the work and service provided. Very professional and great customer satisfaction.
I had a fairly large project done by Hamilton and his team in Roswell. Hamilton was super communicative from the start. I didn’t really know what I wanted, but he came up with a great plan that my wife and I love. The price was fair and his workers knocked it out so fast (4 days). I’d recommend them to anyone!
I found Georgia Outdoor Services on FaceBook with great reviews and I must be honest, they deserve a 5 star rating! Hamilton and his crew did an amazing job transforming our backyard into our little paradise space. We described what we wanted, he helped us with the design and the product and gave us a fair price. He was honest and upfront about what we could expect and he delivered. We are extremely happy with the results! The whole job was completed in 2 days!! amazing results. Georgia Outdoor Services did an amazing job on my front yard. We had what could be described as a natural front yard, and they did a wonderful job of clearing everything (trees, old stumps, overgrown bushes, ivy), grading the land and laying down the sod. It changed everything about the look of our house. The attention to detail was fantastic - nothing was missed.
I was referred to Georgia Outdoor Services by a friend who used them at their house and did an amazing job, and the team didn t disappoint on my house either! Hamilton was so friendly and helpful and explained everything that could be done. The project took two days and the team kept me in the loop the whole way. The finished project looks incredible! I couldn t believe it was the same yard! We sold the house and the backyard was a huge selling point. I would highly recommend this company!

Well organized team of guys who always hit it out of the park.
We are very pleased with the landscaping , hardscaping including two walls and sidewalk down the side of the house. Sod work and new plants in the flower beds that Hamilton and his crews did at our house. The crews were very accommodating and worked very hard in the hot temperatures to get the job done on time. I would recommend Georgia Outdoor Services to anyone looking for a dependable company. I will used them again for any future Outdoor needs.
This company was fantastic. They replaced a huge fence and were able to create something a little fancier and unique. They landscaped the entire yard, front and back. Also, they dealt with a difficult retaining wall and interfaced very professionally with a pool company installing a pool for our next door neighbors, since the slope of their yard was the same as ours. They successfully fixed a years-long slope problem that no one else had been able to fix. The workers were timely, friendly, professional, and skillful. They cleaned up everything beautifully. They were also unbelievably fast. I ve NEVER seen anything like it. They really hit it out of the park. I am totally impressed! Ask for Hamilton, and I m sure he will work magic for you too!!
Amazing company that goes above and beyond to ensure what they do is right.
I had a water problem. Every time it rained, water on the side of my house would pool and sit there for hours. I called several different companies (4 in total) and either I would never hear back or the solution they offered was too expensive. Georgia Outdoor Services was the only one that came thru for me. I found GOS on Angies list, called them and within a few days (2), someone came out to inspect my water drainage issue. They knew exactly what I needed, gave me 2 different options and sent me a quote in email. I picked the option that worked for my budget. The process was handled very professionally. They arrived a day early and completed installing a catch basin and connecting it to the drain next door. I was so impressed, you could not even tell they had to dig up the ground to install the pipe. It can be hard to find good service, I will keep them in my contact list if I need landscaping or other services in the future.
I used these folks to install pavers in my yard and they did a great job. Very professional and I would highly recommend them. Hamilton and his team are great to work with.

I recommend Georgia Outdoor Services to anyone looking for their services. In addition to a retaining wall they also installed a dry creek bed that worked flawlessly with the last recent storms.
This is the second project completed for us in two years, as well as work completed for my parents house, and we all could not be happier. Hamilton led our sales experience both times for our property. He is honest, responsive, and very knowledgeable. For both projects, he assessed our wants and needs and compared them with the actual locations of both projects relative to sunlight, drainage, etc. He was able to create a mix of plants that we are thrilled with, and the overall design fits exactly what we wanted and models our neighborhoods feel. His team installed a walkway with a rubber mulch product that was difficult to find, and the results precisely emulate the feel of a high end public trail in a playground, national park, or a public garden. The quality of the plants and sod is top-notch, and their preparation (leveling, soil charging) was terrific too. Of note, both teams of workers were entirely polite, neat, and professional. Importantly, I felt Hamiltons follow up and quality checking throughout and following the job was superior as well. We could not be more pleased and could not recommend them more highly. We hope to utilize their services again!

Hire Georgia Outdoor Services - Working with Hamilton, Jessica and the team from Georgia Outdoor Services was a great experience and they gave me the front lawn and garden I wanted. Here is why I liked working with them: Even though I have a small yard and small budget, Hamilton came to my home and listened to all my land/hardscaping requirements, spent the time outlining what plants he would plant and discussed the entire installation process. Hamilton and Jessica answered all my questions throughout the process, from project estimate to follow up 2 weeks after the project. The team installing my sod, garden and mailbox are fast, everything was completed in a few hours. This cost fell within the higher side of my budget and it was worth it. I have more work to do on my side and back yards and plan on contacting Georgia Outdoor again.
Mike and his crew have done work for us on multiple occasions. We have the best looking lawn in our neighborhood. They are honest, courteous, reliable, and reasonably priced. I wouldnt consider hiring anyone else for landscaping work.
