We have them maintain our lawn and just before Christmas because the weather was seasonally mild they scarified and over seeded our lawn. Great results from the over seeding. Unfortunately our grass areas took a beating with the workmen on site. We have had Ideal for a couple of years now. For years we had a constant problem with moss in our back lawn but with regular care the lawn has looked its best since we moved her almost 30 years ago!! Really great guys and service from the team.

I initially contacted Ideal Lawn Care in early 2018 to maintain our new-ish lawn. Two specific weeds which had killed off our previous lawn had started to re-appear and I was grateful for their specialist advice and treatment. Three years later and theres still no re-appearance, and the lawn has come out of the winter looking very green and healthy. I do my own scarifying and aerating (a service which I know they offer) but am more than happy with the regular treatment for weeds and the general health of the lawn. The guys are always polite, communication is excellent and they always turn up promptly at the appointed time.

My lawn was starting to look tired and yellow, I was looking for someone to help rejuvenate my lawn and restore it to health and vitality. After a period of researching I came across Ideal Lawn Care. Their website was informative, and seem to tick all the boxes I was looking for. Furthermore, I came across a neighbour who also happens to use Ideal Lawn Care. His lawn was immaculate and all thanks to the wonders of Ideal Lawn Care. I contacted them and was given a prompt appointment with Ian for a visit in order to discuss my needs and how they can assist in improving my lawn. I was very impressed by the professionalism of Ian. He was extremely knowledgeable and was able to answer all my questions- he was patient with me and took his time to explain everything in detail. Ian was then able to formulate a treatment plan tailored to the specific needs of my lawn which involved the use of high quality lawn feed at specific intervals throughout the year, aeration to allow deeper penetration of nutrients, water and oxygen and a process called scarification in order to remove excess thatch from the lawn. What was most striking about this visit was how Ian and the Ideal Lawn Care team have perfected the art of lawn care to what is almost like a science. All the treatment and steps involved are research based and have a scientific basis. Each step incorporates the science and biology of growth of grass- therefore Ideal Lawn care are able to use this knowledge to determine what factors can be changed/manipulated in order to yield the best possible results. The pricing structure was very transparent and Ian was able to provide me with a quote on the day with no other hidden charges or surprises. He was able to go through each stage of treatment and the associated costs. I have been using Ian/Ideal Lawn Care since late summer and I have been absolutely delighted with the results. My lawn is looking very healthy, green and better than ever. The results speak for them-self. I started to see a marked improvement after the first week of stage 1 of the treatment protocol and it has improved ever since. What is also worth noting is that not only does Ian provide a highly professional and detailed service but he is always available to provide help and tips in order to maintain the health and on going maintenance of the lawn, often answering questions and giving me tips at all times of the day when contacted.
