Ricky Singh and Happy and his whole team did a fantastic job on our overgrown perimeter hedges yesterday. I didnt expect it to be contoured, they just did it because they cared. They took out a couple of dead trees and created a new shady spot in my backyard. They did in one day what I thought would take at least a day and a half or two days. I hired Jim s mowing which is run by franchisees, beware because they are all a rip off. not to mention extremely rude, uneducated and don t respect peoples time. when you start questioning them, they seem to think they know everything and reply with sarcasm, i will NEVER give this company my business or recommend them to anyone. they lack any type of professional knowledge and experience with people or any form of landscaping!

Unfortunately I had a terrible experience with Ken Douglas, he was extremely rude and short with me and my family. It felt like he was belittling us just because we asked questions. The service was extremely subpar, combined with the cost of the service, lack of professionalism, and upright rudeness I recommend everyone to steer clear. Susan and Her team worked very hard all day cleaning 2 yrs of debris from my garden beds. They also pulled up the worst of the weeds and left the yard looking like it was cared for. They did a great job.

Ricky Singh and his employees are amazing! When I reached out to him to talk about getting a giant spring clean up done he responded very quickly and when he came by to look at the job he was early!! We got the quote in an email a few days later and decided to move ahead with the project mostly because of our meeting in person with Ricky. On the day the work started he texted in the morning to confirm and again was 15 min early. We had a crew of about 6 people and they got to work right away. It was done perfectly. They cleaned up so you would never know we had work done. So many good things to say, on time, easy to talk to and get ahold of, quality work. Last year s heavy rainfall and the regular raccoon visits definitely destroyed my lawn so I reached out for their services for the first time. Basically let them re-do the whole lawn. Throughout the project, Ricky Singh had always been helpful and responsive to all the my concerns and explained step-by-step on his plan to make my lawn great again. From getting rid of the destroyed lawn, re-seeding, levelling the ground, moss controlling, his professionalism really provided a good result and I m happy with it. Contacted Norton and Gavin of Jim s mowing Chimney Hill as our yard was out of control and didn t know how to fix it. After one day, our front and back yard looks incredible, like it was designed for a magazine (even my teenager commented on it) . We got some paving stones installed along our driveway bed and some landscaping to create a gentle ramp onto our lawn from a walkway. The paving stones were really hard to match. Craig and Susanna looked all over and eventually found something suitable. The crew arrived on time for the job and everything went smoothly. The crews were professional, the work was neat and tidy and they did a thorough cleanup. There was good communication throughout the project and it stayed on budget. We would happily use them again for any jobs we have in the future.

I was looking for a local company to help tidy up my backyard which for years had been growing more weeds that actual grass, I also wanted the surrounding hedges trimmed properly and neatly after a couple of years of neglect. They educated me on how much trimming is safe and healthy for my hedges and explained their processes to grow green grass. Not to mention they were open to removing one of my trees that sat right in the middle of the yard. I have used jims mowing for a couple of years now for lawn mowing and garden tidy-up they were always extremely responsive, efficient and always did a great job. I recently used jims mowing for artificial turf installation and we were blown away. They worked so hard to level our yard and help fix our fence. The turf then got installed and we have never been happier.

Our front lawn was not maintained for extended period, had overgrown grass, and required an urgent maintenance. Jims mowing referred me to Craig and Susanna. Jim s Mowing, Specifically Bal here in the Surrey/Cloverdale area is great to deal with. I ve had great experiences having him look after the lawn mowing needs. Always friendly and communicates very well to keep me informed. We had moved a trampoline onto a lawn area while we did a new gardening project and with out asking he would move it around to keep the neat and tidy look of the lawn, completing the full grass cutting. It always looks great. This is my first experience using a lawn company and Bal from Jim s mowing is serving the community very well.

Norton Gayle and his brother are very hard workers. We had put in ties under a tree to prevent the mulch from spilling onto the driveway. The driveway has some odd edges and he ensured that each tie was cut precisely so that they connected evenly. It looked really great after it was done. He spent a lot of time making sure it was perfect and kept checking in with us to ensure we were happy with it. I had soil and much topped up in my garden beds Including weeding. Topped up soil on grass and seeded and fertilized. Norton gave me really good cost effective advice for me to get all this work done. He was very patient and explained everything very well. He also set the expectations for the job and delivered accordingly. They tidied up so well after they were finished. The job was done after our first thunderstorm and my driveway was covered in leaves from the huge trees around our property and they even helped me with that. They stepped into such a mess and left it spotless. I highly recommend Norton. He will be back to maintain my lawn and I am looking forward to a beautiful front yard in spring.

I normally wouldnt write a review for a yard maintenance company, but Norton Gayle and his brother did such a great job. I contacted Jims Mowing to ask for a quote to haul away a pile of green waste. Id taken down several dead trees and out of control holly. I got a text message back letting me know that Norton would be calling me back within two hours. Less than an hour later he called and said he could come by later that day to give a quote. Less than two hours later he was here. Both Norton and his brother were friendly, professional and completely patient with my barking dog. The quote was very reasonable and they were available for the work right away. They worked very quickly, loading up, cutting branches to fit; they even finished removing and chopping up a tree I hadnt had time to finish because they got here so quickly! They needed to move some things for access, which meant that my dog would be able to jump the fence. When I went out to have a look when they were done, they had removed absolutely every scrap in the pile and put everything back where it had been so my dog couldnt get out. I would highly recommend Norton Gayles Jims Mowing.

Dec. 6, 2021 Norton and his staff serviced my moms large property. It consists of many large trees, shrubs, and gardens. They came and toured the yard and had a conversation with my mom (the owner of the property) and I regarding the specifics of the condition of the plants, and grounds. They answered questions we had about a seasonal maintenance plan. We were impressed first with their knowledge. Next, the delivery of the pruning of trees, and shrubs was above average and impressive.They removed leaves and cleaned up gardens. Well done. They also cleared gutters around sunroom and made valuable suggestions about drainage improvements that we may want to consider around that space. We are very appreciative of the service we have received and continue to receive from this company and look forward to using them consistently in the future. We are happy to refer this company.
