Pacific Outdoor Living was fast and efficient re-landscaping our backyard and did a wonderful job. They worked with us on a great design and executed it better than we could have imagined. The crew cleaned up the worksite at the end of every day and were very professional. The process was very easy, highly recommend!

Best construction experience ever!!! Called in and everything was smooth from the start. Had a site analyst come out to measure my project then a week after I met with Designer Samantha H. She created a masterpiece at my home and I couldnt be happier with the results. The crews were very hardworking and helpful. They worked 6 days a week and were done before deadline. everything was built right, on time and on budget.

Every day they showed up on time. I was shocked how fast they finished the job and even at the end they wanted to wash my backyard to make sure they didn t leave any dirt behind. Pacific Outdoor Living did a fantastic job on my driveway and front lawn! They completely designed and architected the replacements, removed the existing concrete, lawn, and plantings, installed new driveway drainage, pavers (made at their own local factory), and planted and installed a Xeriscape front yard along with lighting, drip irrigation, sprinkler controller and lighting controller. It was a tremendous amount of work, but the result is excellent and makes me happy every time I look at it (which is every day). Best of all, they kept me in the loop as they worked on the project to resolve any unexpected issues on the spot. Count me as a fan!

We had our front yard transformed by John Durso and his crew at Pacific Outdoor Living. We have a ranch style house, but I wanted a Japanese type garden in the front yard. He took it as a personal challenge, and created a bridge over a rock river, and fencing with a Japanese design. We landscaped the front walkway and placed large granite boulders in the yard. Great work and experience with driveway install

I had pavers put in about 10 years ago and I am just posting to say how it is still holding up and still looks nice I would recommend getting the pavers sealed as they suggested by I said no and I regret it because I do have to weed more often than I wanted to but that was my fault! Over all good experience and impressed it s still looking good

POL Has done three projects for us. They installed our quarry pond, they installed pavers in our backyard, and a brick wall and pavers in our front yard. In every case, excellent work done with the great professionalism. Highly recommended.

I admit that my experience, given the very good reviews here, is a little of an exception. Nevertheless, it was a very disappointing one. I like the initial interaction, the measures were taken flawless, and all my requirements were taken by the team. After that it went downhill. I got paired with a designer who only had a fraction of my information handed to her. She wasn t prepared at all for the initial design meeting, suggested things that have been off the table, and was struggling to explain. She literally had to make up things on the spot. That was so bad internal communication. Which is disappointing in itself, if you add a total of 90-minute commute to their office; this was simply very annoying. In the follow up call I explained my disappointment and the team admitted the issue and that I was paired with the wrong designer. I didn t want to continue, but the team insisted to give it another try. I was paired with a sales rep to come to my property. The problem here was that we had an appointment, but the person never showed up. He forgot to add the appointment to his calendar. That s obviously highly unprofessional. Especially since he knew that the first appointment didn t go as expected. I believe they do a good job once they start working. I saw the pictures, all the good reviews, etc. I will not find out. This was just too much of a negative experience and lack of professionalism.

POL installed a pond, surrounded by pavers, and matching driveway pavers on a property I manage/ed 12 years ago. All areas are still looking great! The pond was designed to be self sustaining with plants, fish and waterfall. I have not needed to clean the pond since installation. Each element is doing its job. Very low maintenance and very please! The pavers look as the did when installed. No settling or shifting. Great Job!

Pacific Outdoor Living did an upgrade/renovation of the patio at my condo in May 2024. I am extremely pleased with the result and highly recommend this company from start to finish. The first step was that someone came out to evaluate the space, make measurements, and take photographs. These were handed off to Julian, the designer who worked with me. Julian did a great job finding out through a personal meeting what I was hoping to achieve. He offered a number of suggestions but in the end guided me towards what I wanted. He then developed high quality, detailed drawings indicating exactly what he proposed, right down to the tiles, bushes and plants, and fountain. Once we settled on the design, a key step was having an experienced gentleman (owner?) and job boss come out with Julian on site and talk through in detail what was proposed. For my project, this turned out to be crucial because the experienced guy quickly determined that what had been proposed would not work due to unforeseen structural issues involving the subterranean garage. Although this set back the project start date by a few weeks in order to re-plan some things, in the end it was worth every minute of delay because it avoided potentially catastrophic results I would have been liable for with the HOA. Julian came up with fine alternative suggestions. Once the work started, the whole team was competent and professional. One noticeable thing about Pacific Outdoor Living is that this company is large enough that they have a full complement of their own workers, each group highly specialized - one for the demolition and tear out, another one for leveling the site, another for laying the tile, another for installing the bushes and plants, and even more for the electrical and plumbing. The end result is that everyone is an expert and efficient because they are specialized. The job boss, Jorge, was outstanding. He made sure the everything was coordinated and stayed in close communication with me about decisions that came up along the way, as they inevitably do in a project like this. Once the work started, there was only ONE day where someone wasnt there working--otherwise, over the roughly 3 week period, they were ALWAYS there getting something done. The work area was always neat as a pin at the end of the day, The pricing is transparent and their business office provides clear documentation at every step. There were no surprises. At the very end, we needed to adjust the bottom line due to a few changes that were made, and they were fully responsive and fair in doing so. I would say that if a person wanted to spend a lot of time hunting around it is possible you might find someone willing to say theyll do your project for less, dont bother. Whatever little you might be able to save isnt worth it. All in all, I couldnt be more pleased with the outcome and I am happy to recommend Pacific Outdoor Living. These people are professionals and know what they are doing - and you cant put a price on that. Trust me, youll be in good hands.

I waited many years to tackle the renovation of my backyard space. A small slope in the backyard, drainage issues, a 60 year old patio cover and inconsistent hardscape had to be addressed. So many moving pieces to the project (design, demolition, irrigation, hardscape, landscaping, etc.!!) left me feeling stuck. Then I learned about Pacific Outdoor Living while visiting a Pasadena Showcase House. I spoke with their representative and learned, yes, they work on tract homes like mine, not just mansions. I could see their work was special, but upon learning Pacific Outdoor Living handles each phase of your project with their in-house crew AND were able to work within my budget constraints I was all in. I hit it off immediately with my designer, Samantha. She explained the entire process and presented me with design solutions perfect for my situation. I felt very confident putting my trust in POL. My project required demolition of the patio cover, existing concrete and removal of flagstones. POL graded my backyard to provide more valuable space for entertaining and a more cohesive look that flows beautifully. The attention to detail was stunning. Grading was with completed so that water would drain correctly into new drains. New pavers were installed expertly. In all phases of the project all areas of my home were protected from damage (think jack hammer and regrading and dirt removal!) The team for each phase arrived at my home at the time expected throughout the project. After each day of work, the areas were cleaned and equipment stowed. All questions were answered promptly. Staff were top notch in their work as well as friendly and personable. It was clear from the beginning a happy customer is the goal with POL. Big thank you to Samantha, Jorge, Trent and Jesus and the many others! I had neighbors stopping by during the work to comment on the speed and professionalism they could witness as bystanders of the project. Start to finish the work was complete in 3 weeks including new flagstone pathway, landscaping and irrigation for an area in my front yard. Its gorgeous! My backyard has been completely transformed. Lots of jaw dropping from my friends when they see the result. The view to my yard is absolutely glorious, my dream space! I couldnt be happier. And theres more. Following the completion of my work I have had a few minor issues, a leaky sprinkler, a tweak needed with my new sprinkler controller. POL continues to answer my inquiries and respond quickly to resolve any issue that pops up. You may find a lower cost solution, but I highly doubt the end result would be the same as with Pacific Outdoor Living.

We hired Pacific to remodel our backyard. The job entailed adding a jacuzzi to our existing pool, adding a pad for a patio cover, adding a pickleball court as well as some irrigation work. The process was easy from start to completion. The workers always showed up on time. Often the crews were working from 7:30am to 6 pm, sometimes 6 days a week. The job was finished early and we are very happy with it all. I would highly recommend requesting Khalil as the project manager. He helped guide us through a lot of decisions, was always available for us, and made the whole project go smoothly. The mason team was also superb. They did a great job on the pool and the surfacing of all the concrete. There were a couple of items in the project that were out of our price range and Pacific recommended some other suppliers that could do the job. These other vendors were excellent and coordinated with Pacific to get it done right.

Pacific Outdoor Living did a complete remodel of our front, side, and back yards about two years ago, and they did a wonderful job. They removed the old grass and replaced it with turf. They also extensively re-graded the backyard and installed underground drainage. New outdoor lighting was installed, and they put in a large drip sprinkler system. They poured concrete in the front and the backyard as well as a remodel and redesign of all of the landscape in our backyard. They removed a large unsightly water feature and redesigned it into a beautiful small pond. They poured a deep concrete foundation for a Jacuzzi and installed beautiful design features, incorporating large stones into the edges of the turf. They went above and beyond to suggest great design ideas along the way. The work they did is beautiful, and the service was great. The workers were on time, efficient, and personable. We would recommend Pacific Outdoor Living to anyone doing smaller or larger jobs in their yard

Pacific Outdoor Living did a lot of landscaping for me about 18 years ago and it still looks good! They installed pavers for my walkways, porches, driveway, fountain area and around my pool. There has been a little settlement in a couple of places around my pool decking, I guess because the pool was newly built and its been awhile. I remember they were very professional and did a great job. I called them to ask if they could help me with the settlement issues, and Jesse and one of his crew members came to check out my pavers. Turns out, the crew member that came with Jesse remembered my job! These guys were really great to work with and Jesse and his associate were very professional and friendly. Jesse told me they no longer have the exact pavers so they will have to work delicately with the existing pavers. Jesse quoted me a reasonable price to do the repair, and we got it scheduled right away. Jesse sent out Emilio to do the repair. Emilio really knows his stuff! This guy was so detailed and precise, I was amazed! He was able to remove the pavers in the settlement areas, and set them back so the job looked like there was never an issue. These guys are really professional and serious when it comes to making you happy with a professional finished product. We completed our substantial backyard project three weeks ago. Jorge, Our project manager, did a great job staying in communication and making sure we were happy with everything. We were also impressed with the artistry of the pavers. Those guys were so meticulous with their work. We also had some change orders along the way, and the team was very adaptable to this. Overall, the project was done in a timely manner, and the team was very professional.

I actually used Pacific Outdoor Living for two different backyards. They first upgraded my backyard in Studio City. They gave me a beautiful new driveway, revamped a pond I had in the yard, and generally made it feel like a backyard oasis. We sold that home quickly mostly due to the beautiful yard. When we moved into a new home in Burbank which had a backyard made mostly of damaged and dangerous concrete, I called Pacific Outdoor Living immediately. They turned that into a beautiful oasis as well with fruit trees and so much beautiful grass and flowers and plants - it was unrecognizable! Highly recommend them to anyone whose backyard needs help.

We hired Pacific Outdoor Living in October 2020, after living in the house for about 30 years. The did a complete backyard renovation converting a relatively unusable sloped backyard with a very small patio into a 2 tiered outdoor entertaining showpiece with room to host and entertain 20+ people. We couldnt be happier with their ideas and design for the space. The design also made the relatively small backyard feel much bigger. Their designers had great ideas to make the space more functional and beautiful. They graded a much bigger patio (removing 3 dump truck loads of dirt), put in a short retaining/seat wall, paving stones, outdoor kitchen, firepit, pad for an above ground jacuzzi, drainage, irrigation, landscaping, and lighting. It was completed in about 6 weeks start to finish, on schedule, working 6 days a week. They cleaned up at the end of each day and hauled away the debris as it was created. The project manager kept us informed all along the way, and had some great tweaks to the plans that they did on the fly with our approval. Three years later everything still looks great, the drainage works perfectly, and the plants are thriving. They also stand behind their work. We had one light in a step fail about 2 years after completion. They sent a guy out to replace it promptly under warranty. One thing that separates POL from others is that they have all their own crews and equipment. There are no subcontractors or related delays. On my project their Bobcat broke down one Saturday morning. They sent their in-house mechanic out to fix it and had it up and running again in a few hours, allowing them to continue the grading without any delays. It is a joy to be able to entertain in the backyard, or just enjoy it ourselves. My only regret is that I didnt do the project sooner!!!!

I am very tough to satisfy, very detail-oriented, and ask a ton of questions. Yet Pacific Outdoor impressed me at every stage of the project. It s a company with a culture that listens and wants to please. It has the knowledge and the talent to do so. There are precious few companies with Pacifics breath and depths of capabilities. They have specialized teams for each function, and a supervisor over each team, as well as an overall project supervisor. The set up is perfect since the result is high-quality, competent work, efficiently provided. Pacific s teams couldnt have been better. Julian was the lead designer and coordinated the preparation of the plans. He listened and created, and it was a collaborative effort. Juan was the overall manager, and was terrific. He was the glue that held the project together, and I couldnt have had a better person in this role. All of the team supervisors and their teams also were exceptional. Luis for demolition had a large team and was incredibly organized and efficient. Another Luis for landscaping was extraordinarily knowledgeable, helpful, creative and accommodating. His team did incredible work with a large variety of beautiful plants, irrigation, grass, a dry river bed, and amazing lighting. Enrique is a master mason, building beautiful flagstone decks and an amazing firepit. Martin did a terrific job creating a beautiful large paver pool deck and gorgeous coping around the pool. The pool and spa alone had multiple teams for tiling and pebble resurfacing. And then the pergola/balcony team did wonders. Lots of people, each group skilled in their trade. The result: I now have a dreamworld outside to live in, day and night. I couldnt be happier, and Pacific could not have provided more value than they did. They exceeded my expectations. This hard-to-satisfy, demanding person is beyond satisfied. I highly recommend them.

We had only good experience dealing with Pacific Outdoor on our project. From the time we first sat down to discuss our ideas with Samantha, reviewed initial design drawings using our ideas and hers, to the time schedule of prepping the front and back yards, continual conversations, and updates. We went from the front and back lawns to gravel, stone beautiful pavers, an outdoor BBQ bar with plenty of seating and of course a pizza oven. Cannot say enough good things, honestly!

Having been in our home for some time we knew about numerous issues that needed to be addressed. The backyard would flood during the rains as water came down from the mountains. The pool finish was old and disintegrating. The irrigation was old, galvanized pipes and needed to be replaced. And the overall aesthetic was rustic and the yard unusable. We needed a completely new design. We worked closely with a few different companies including paying their design fees and working with their designers and planners. Some of the estimates were lower and some were higher than POL. There were two main things that made us decide to use POL. When we went to their office we spoke with Samantha and that went similarly to the other outfits but during our visit it became clear that the organization behind her was impressive and that our design was a team effort. They were very professional and knowledgeable and had expertise in design, project planning, permitting, and estimating. The second thing that convinced us was that they had the workforce and trades in house needed to complete much of the project without juggling our schedule with the schedules of numerous subcontractors. Once the project started, working closely with Trent was an absolute joy. He has expertise in the project details and in planning and scheduling that made everything smooth and gave us a clear idea of what to expect day by day. Like any project, there were some things that needed to be tweaked and some changes that we decided to implement. Their ability to estimate and clearly document change orders that we wanted made the process very smooth. We feel that we got a very fair deal for scope of work. The quality of the work in each of the phases and areas of work was also top notch. From the demo to the infrastructure plan and build (drainage and drainpipes, water supply pipes, gas pipes), to the finish work (pavers, deck, pool, pergola) their experience and workmanship left nothing to be desired. Altogether, our project from start to finish, it took about two months of work. We are very happy with our new yard and highly recommend POL to anybody looking to turn their backyard into a resort destination. We have already recommended them to people and would work with them again without hesitation.

I wrote this review in 2021 but wanted to share it as this company is really terrific. We did a big job, so we know this company from top to bottom. It started as a driveway bid. I only got a bid from them as their reviews were so strong but I was sure they would be pricier than the small operations who dont have to pay the overhead of a large operation. That didnt end up being the case. Their paver bid was very competitive, and they inspire confidence. The reality is, when a big company does a job, they sort of have to do it right. They have too much at stake to leave a furious customer who will proceed to leave bad reviews. Unlike small vendors who can change their address or name or rating platform. But Pacific has a building and a staff and a showroom. They arent going anywhere. They want happy customers. The truth is---I never even considered them for the major outdoor reno of the house, as six months earlier they had warned me that their quality was high but their prices werent low. And they wouldnt visit and bid. We had to go there. I was annoyed and said, no thanks. So, I got bids all over the place for the deck, pool, landscaping and driveway. This is a big big job. But once I had a visit from their paver guy, and decided to use them for the driveway, I suddenly realized it was idiotic not to consider them for our exterior work. So we caved and went for a meeting up at their offices. And decided to bite the bullet. Thank god we did. This project was not easy. It was a total house rebuild that now required a massive design strategy for the exterior which was basically dirt and a messed up pool. We had to figure out deck and stairs and irrigation and retaining walls and landscaping and built in barbecues and benches and on and on and on. I know what things cost after two renovations and rebuilding and redesigning a large house. I can tell you--their prices are fair. Their quality is excellent even with their subs. They dont look for cheap subs to save a buck. They want their subs to be a high level as their full time employees. This speaks volumes. They dont nickel and dime you. And they dont leave things out just because you didnt think to mention it. Meaning you might be focusing on where the walls are and what the deck will be made from, and forget that your property needs to have lighting. But dont worry- they do big jobs for a living. They wont do your reno and stare at you blankly after pouring concrete and say - well you didnt ask for lights. They dont even ask, they put that stuff in because they know what must be done on a project. They dont cut corners. When things go wrong, and occasionally things will on a major renovation, they make them right immediately. They dont have endless change orders which are the bane of every home owner doing a renovation. They get the bid right at the beginning. Sure, maybe you can get a slightly lower quote elsewhere, but take it from someone who has worked with endless contractors, you will lose money with the endless change orders as they tell you, Well, you never mentioned that the water needed to be wet! That will cost you an extra 7k! They care. The team is smart and competent. Their workers actually work hard and seem to take enormous pride in their high level of skill. Trent is an amazing project supervisor. He looks worried all the time walking around. Because he notices everything- hes fussier than we are. And that is remarkable for a project supervisor. He thinks ahead. He sees problems before they come. When he sees issues he gets it fixed. Scott came in to take the landscaping and finish to a wonderful conclusion. Hes one of the kindest people we have had work at the house. Our designer Jordan was perfect. He has ideas and isnt afraid to advocate but is completely willing to listen and pivot based on customer feedback. He came up with a design we adored and probably prevented a divorce in the process.

We chose Pacific Outdoor Living for an extensive and multi-faceted backyard and front yard renovation. In the backyard the large pergola over the patio was removed, and a new patio cover was constructed. The cement was demolished and new pavers installed. We added lighting and ceiling fans. The pool plaster was cracking and POL arranged for the pool to be resurfaced and then recommended a pool man who could handle the acid wash and start up procedure. The putting green was in need of repair, and POL put in a new one, and recommended a contractor to replace our sport court surface. In the front yard, our brick walkway was cracked and in need of replacement. POL took care of that. The irrigation system in the back and front yards needed to be overhauled, and POL installed drip lines where needed, and replaced all sprinklers as well as the automatic timer. Additional landscape lighting was added in front and back which enhanced the property because our town has no streetlights and is very dark. We changed and added plants and trees throughout our landscape in front and back. POL helped us achieve our dream landscape, including new sod for the lawns, and then made sure we knew what to do to maintain it. POL planned the phases in our project with excellent crews specializing in each area of work, and made sure that each phase followed the one before with a minimum of delay. We are so pleased with the results - we have a backyard perfect for entertaining and family enjoyment and a front yard that is beautiful. I have the rose and flower garden that I always wanted as well as fruit trees that produce all year long. We would recommend POL for anyone needing to accomplish any or all of these phases. The planning process was helpful and thorough, and the execution was very professionally done - with a minimum of disruption and no damage to our property. The contractors were careful and skillful and extremely respectful. Start to finish, the project took about 6 months during 2020-2021 including the planning.

I was the property manager and the owners couldnt be happier with the results! Pacific Outdoor started the project on our backyard and front yard upgrade in early 2022, and by August of the same year, we had a whole new outdoor space to enjoy. The transformation is seriously impressive weve got a bigger pool, a chill hot tub, a cozy fire pit, a large bar, a cool BBQ setup, a beautiful deck, a lush of lovely flowers all around, and more! After renovating our new home, we took a pause before we tackled the front and back yards. We cast a pretty wide net in terms of trying to find a landscaping company, and while there were plenty of excellent candidates who all had compelling visions for our space, we ultimately decided on Pacific Outdoor Living. Were glad we did. At the beginning, we worked with our designer Samantha, who came up with a number of ideas and we chose the one which best suited what we were looking for. Previously, the back was an unshaded, intermittently grassy space with poor drainage. She returned with a design that included drought resistant plants, new drainage to prevent an unwanted pool from forming in the yard from heavy rains (which happened in spring of 2023!), a path going through the yard, and a space for a fire pit in the corner. For the front yard, she created a nice layout of similar drought resistant plants, as well as a path leading to the back yard along the side of the house. We worked with her to make some adjustments along the way, and she gave us some excellent ideas we never thought about, and we were able to come to a final plan that worked. We gave them the go-ahead from there. During the project, we worked primarily with Jorge, who was overseeing the whole thing and would periodically come out all the way out here from Sun Valley (were almost in Calabasas) to see how things were progressing. He stayed on top of things diligently. We also worked with Jesus, who was overseeing more specifically the plants being integrated into the space and also was always there to answer questions and check in. One part of the project I had to include was the pergola they were able to get for us, which is a perfect size, has a sun shade incorporated into it on one side, and adjustable shutters on the roof, to shield us on those summer days with the sun is blazing down from directly overhead. As for others we worked with at POL, I have to mention Stephanie, Joseline, and Matthew at the office in Sun Valley, who covered a lot of other questions we had, and who are absolute professionals in terms of being detail-oriented and absolutely pleasant. To show the professionalism of this company, over half a year after the project wrapped we had a concern that some water running off from a gutter drain on our house had washed away some of the front yard side path. Within days, Jorge had a team out here to install a pipe at the end of the gutter drain to redirect water away from it, and filled the path back in. They did this so fast, we never even knew they were here. They didnt have to do that, especially considered the time between the project ending and the issue coming up, but they did. Another takeaway is we had budget concerns while thinking about this project, and had worried based on other estimates from other companies that we wouldnt be able to do what we wanted. With POL, they returned with a project that actually hit our budget mark almost exactly, gave us a beautiful space to enjoy, one that is the perfect finishing touch on our home. Highly recommended!

POL sold and installed a San Juan Pools swimming pool and Spa for us in SoCal I would absolutely recommend them for any outdoor project you need. Clean, professional and Quality work.

We recently bought a home in the valley and we knew that the yards needed a bit of work. The piping in the backyard was corroded and needed to be replaced. The pool finish was coming off, and the irrigation wasnt working well enough to support a yard in the front. We needed a complete overhaul. We reached out to a few different companies. POL had a small up front fee for measurements and an initial illustration, but the bang for the buck compared to the other companies we talked to was night and day. We sat down with Julian at their office and talked through what we wanted and shared what type of styles we liked and he went to work. Our first rendering was a very professional layout of our yards potential. How organized and thorough they were off the bat was enough to convince us these were the right guys to go with. They werent the cheapest option, but it was clear they were the most professional. Once we locked down the schematics for the yard, we did an in person walkthrough with Trent Morrill and Juan Horta. They walked us through all the work that would be done and talked to us about some of our options. I recommend if youre not sure what they are talking about, just ask. They explained everything to me, we got to an agreement, and kicked off. From start to finish, it took about two months of work, which could have been even quicker if it werent for the rain while the work was scheduled. Juan Horta and his team completely redid the front yard, backyard, courtyard, and pool. This included updating the pipes, adding drains, and putting up a pergola. My wife and I work from home, so we kept an eye on all of the work being done, which honestly, isnt a bad thing to do because there were times we wanted something shifted, or we wanted to upgrade, and Juan and Luis were always helpful in making the necessary changes. My wife and I are very happy with our new yards. If youre looking at your options, I highly recommend paying the upfront fee to have Pacific Outdoor Living come through and do measurements and an initial schematic. The measurements alone were worth the money in case you wanted to shop around. All of our other competitor bids were cheaper because we could provide detailed measurements. Its a no brainer in hindsight, and we ended up liking POL the best anyway. 5 Stars, Ive recommended them to friends, and Id work with them again in a heartbeat.

My wife and I were tired of looking at the same old front yard, we spent months searching the web, talking to friends, and driving by houses of yards that we admired. After all this time vested we saw a few of our neighbors with the POL sign out front and decided to engage them for a quote. Initially we had interviewed a few others but once we started working with POL we knew right away that there intake and design process was what we were looking for, they asked us the questions we felt important to make decisions on the overall design and build time that others did not, a true hand-holding approach that we needed. We had decided to install New walls, walkway, artificial turf, lot of drought tolerant plants, lighting etc. Their team is all in-house and they did a great job. Trent, the production Manager noticed very early on that the street elevation could cause flooding onto my property. He had the plan revised to take care of that. The last rain we had was tremendous but my front yard weathered through well. We did have gravel wash out in the front at curb but with the torrent of rain we had, I expected something might happen. The street was a river! I whole-heartily recommend POL for a complete design-build firm. They were fast, responsive and expert builders. You get what you pay for!

Stay away! We(as an HOA) switched to this company as they promised to plant some new hedges and basically redo our front yard as well as take over maintenance. Not only did they NEVER deliver on the promised renovations, their maintenance work was sub par. They neglected to address/notice a water leak that cost us $$$ in water bills(see attached photo). It took multiple contacts to get the to address that the sprinklers were leaking. And for the cherry on top, they randomly stopped showing up, no warning, no communication. Just gone. 4yrs later and I still think about this. Company ghosted us until we got tired of chasing them and gave up. Transformed our old blah concrete patio! Called Pacific Outdoor Living and Craig came out and gave us several ideas within our budget and recommended several pavers to choose from. Workers removed old concrete, re-graded, put down gravel coat, then pavers, and sealer. They also completely remodeled stairwell to patio with pavers and added ground lights and garden lights and put them on timers. We were so pleased we asked to add outdoor lights to front yard.

We had our backyard remodeled, which included pool installation, pergola build, and driveway paving. Our designer Julian was able to create the backyard that we envisioned and our project manager Trent made sure the whole process was smooth & efficient. They finished the project within budget and even ahead of schedule. We highly recommend POL for their expertise, attention to detail, professionalism, timeliness, and overall workmanship. It has been almost 3 years since our backyard and driveway completed and it still looks amazing!

For the most part we had a good experience with Pacific Outdoor Living. The details in their planning and prep made it easy for us to decide on what we would like for our yard and what would work best for our yard. They completed the project in a timely manner and even came back a few times to check on their work and the growth of our yard. They even touched up some areas that rain had ruined. The reason for 4 stars, is the communication during the actual construction process. Sometimes they didnt show up when scheduled. I would have to reach out to them to see what was going on. But over all I would recommend Pacific Outdoor Living. We get compliments all the time on our yard!

I have used Pacific Outdoor Living to install paving stones on 3 separate occasions...the first was my driveway, which was such a game changer, I hired them again a few years later to do the driveway at our other house. Once again, they did such an incredible job and it looked so great - we had strangers asking us who we hired to do the work. The third time I hired them to install a pathway in our side yard and pavers in our back yard with steps leading to a back door. We also had them to create a pathway in the backyard of our other house. They went above and beyond the call of duty by helping me install a French drain and gravel in an adjacent area - something they didnt need to do, but they did. You just dont see service like that anymore! No corners cut, everything done right. Each time we hired them, they took the time to survey the areas, take measurements and plot it all out in advance so that the installation was nothing short of perfection. To say that they do an outstanding job is really an understatement. They are incredibly professional and proficient in what they do. I am always careful to do my research and look at all my options and each time I have come back to Pacific Outdoor Living because they are simply the best. I trust them to do a great job and 3 times later they have never disappointed me. We enjoyed working with Pacific Outdoor Living and love our backyard remodel! We installed new pavers, artificial turf, a curb wall for fence installation, resurfaced our pool with mini pebble, retiled our pool, installed new automated pool equipment and added a waterfall feature. They were patient with us during the design process as we asked for estimates for things that we didnt end up doing because they were out of budget. They may be more expensive than hiring different subcontractors yourself to do each separate area but it was worth it to just deal with one person managing the job, the permits and use qualified subcontractors that they know do good work. We used a separate contractor for a new louvered pergola because we wanted a particular brand with screens but pacific outdoor worked with them to get the permit inspection and pavers done around it. We are very happy with how the backyard turned out.

We were extremely pleased with the entire process of working with Pacific Outdoor Living for both design and installation for our new front and backyard gardens. Samantha did a great job of guiding us through the design process, ultimately creating a plan that aligned well with our own vision for the yard. Once we had finalized the plan, the demo work crew came in 2 days later and were out in just one day. The next week, Jorge and the paver crew came in and they were complete in one week. The week after that, Luis and the landscape crew laid in the drip irrigation system and worked us on final placement for all the plant material. We were amazed they were able to complete the whole project in just over 2 weeks. In the 2 months since completion, Luis has been very responsive in making sure the drip system is working properly, replacing some plants that didnt survive the heavy rains as well as modifying the drainage system in a couple of areas that had some issues. The entire process, from design through completion, was easy for us and we highly recommend Pacific Outdoor Living.

From the design phase through completion, we were consistently impressed with their thorough process and professional demeanor. The 3D renderings came to life transforming our 70 s back yard into a modern, elegant showplace complete with a spa, outdoor kitchen and a renovated pool deck. Juan was attentive to the small details and bigger issues alike and his crew worked quickly with an eye toward making living with major construction as much of a non-event as was feasible. This is the second project we used Pacific for. The first was a driveway renovation and we would use them again. They aren t inexpensive, but the quality of their work is in keeping with their competitive pricing and I don t begrudge professionals from charging fair market prices.

Fabulous work by Pacific Outdoor Living. Very professional, they had workers every single day - no delays or wondering when someone would show up again to finish the work. The supervisor was in constant contact, always visiting the site to make sure everything was perfect. I contracted with Pacific Outdoor Living to landscape my front yard in Winter 2022. The front yard started off as a complete mess. There are two slopes dissenting into the house that, over the years, have been overrun by English Ivy. After multiple ivy mitigation attempts I was left with two dirt slopes. I thought having a water feature in the front to complement the slope would be a nice way to bring the yard together. After reaching out to several contractors I found Pacific Outdoor Living and am very pleased with the experience. When my project was near completion the neighbors were stopping by and asking me who designed my yard and asking the foreman for cards. She listened to what I wanted to accomplish with the project and brought up important things I should consider. We were very satisfied with Pacific Outdoor Living when they redid our driveway and front patio. To be honest, our whole front yard was pretty shabby to begin with, with an asphalt driveway running all the way into our garage and an unsightly downslope of dead grass in the front. The design team helped us draw up a plan for a beautiful paving stone driveway, cement in the garage, and a nice leveled patio with low-allergen and drought tolerant plants above a retaining wall and a nice play area for the kids. The design even preserved just a bit of the sloping hill to make the yard look one-of-a-kind and interesting. There might have been cheaper options out there, but the design team worked with out budget. Plus, we felt like we got quality work and healthy plants at a competitive price. The build team was very efficient and fast as well. We frequently get compliments on our yard. All-in-all, were very satisfied with the project.

This is the company you want to hire. Pacific Outdoor Living restored our 50s-era kidney pool which had fallen into disrepair by the previous home owner. Everyone who gave us quotes said the same thing. We needed to replace EVERYTHING--the coping, the tile, the plaster, the plumbing, and the equipment. About half of the companies who took a look at our pool ended up ghosting us. Of the companies who did give us the time of day, Pacific Outdoor Living was the most professional. They were also highly recommended by a friend of ours who hired them to hardscape her backyard and build a new pool. Pacific Outdoor Living was a pleasure to work with. They were always easy to get a hold of and transparent about every aspect of the job, from the budget to the schedule to the inspections. We approached them with a certain look in mind, and they were very accommodating of that, but they were also willing to do more hand-holding if thats what you need. The workmanship was top notch, and they had no problem coming out a couple of extra times to address minor adjustments I asked them to make. We spent more money than we originally had planned, but only because we ended up doing a lot more than just restoring the pool. Since we had to excavate the deck anyway to replace the plumbing, we built a new terrazzo deck and installed a robust drainage system underneath. But if you take the pool restore in isolation, Pacific Outdoor Living came in cheaper that most of the other quotes we received. We felt like we got a premium product for a pretty reasonable price. No matter who does your pool, they are not cheap. They are also an investment in both the value of your house and in your daily life enjoyment. So if you want to build a pool and/or remodel your backyard, I think you owe it to yourself to go with a company like Pacific Outdoor Living. Youll enjoy the process, and youll definitely enjoy the result.

They are hands down the best, most reliable company for any outdoor project. We moved into a new home in December and with record rainfall in the months that followed, we learned very quickly that our new property had major drainage issues. The previous owners had also let invasive trees and plants grow all over the property, creating a massive root system under our .3 acre property. The projects seemed so overwhelming and daunting, but when we found POL, we knew it would be worth the extra cost for a reliable company that could take care of the necessary underground problems while also making it beautiful on the surface. From the beginning, Samantha, our designer, did an incredible job of taking our words and inspiration photos to create a design exactly in line with what we wanted. Even though the full project wasn t in our budget at the time, we then worked together to decide on phases and prioritize what needed to get done immediately and what we could do later. Trent, the owner of the company was involved in the project very closely and did everything he could to figure out the best and most cost effective solutions for our drainage issues. Jorge, our project manager, was incredible. He was very communicative and present from the beginning to the end, and also has a great sense of humor. Any problems that arose during the process, Jorge and Trent went above and beyond to communicate with us and to find a solution - even when the problems weren t their responsibility. Since everything is done in house instead of subcontracting out, you can see the pride that every worker takes in the job. They are fast and efficient but they get the job done the right way and the end result looks fantastic. They are truly an honest and trustworthy company and we would hire them again in a heartbeat.

We used Pacific Outdoor living to remodel our front yard, driveway, and backyard. We installed pavers, a putting green, an outdoor kitchen and pergola as well as upgrading the irrigation and landscaping. They were professional, transparent, on time and on budget. From meeting with Samantha to go over our needs for the design until the final inspection with Jorge, our entire process had no surprises and surpassed our expectations. They matched the outdoor space well with our hundred year old home, and added extras we desired like a putting green, mature fruit trees, and an extensive drip system without damaging what we wanted to keep.

We replaced a long 145 driveway that leads down hill to a two car garage. The project had to marry up with an existing back patio, various planter boxes, and some existing front yard brick work. The work was perfect and the project was done on time and on budget and done surprisingly fast. The crew hit some curveballs I threw at them by fixing some of our existing brickwork. Here we are 4 years later and the drainage of the driveway is perfect having handled the recent tropical storm like a champ. I would recommend them in a heartbeat!

Beautiful landscape design. Amazing customer service. Specialized crews for each portion of the landscaping project. Every member of each crew worked tirelessly and had great skills. From the sales (Sean) and design team (Sean, John, Kolleen and others); project and construction managers (Trent and Jorge); demolition (removal) team led by Luis; construction team (William, Francisco and crew) who put in drains and a gorgeous, winding paver pathway; to the landscape team (managed by Luis S.) who installed the drip lines and set the final placement of the selected trees, plants and ground cover; every person was skilled, courteous, knowledgeable and so professional! The finale exceeded our expectations and was more beautiful than the design schematic. The true test was that everything looked spectacular and the drains worked perfectly when we received nearly 6 inches of rain in a day and a half after an unusual tropical storm came through our area.

I hired Pacific Outdoor Living after having passed by another house in the neighborhood that used them. I always admired the lovely desert scape style landscaping at this other house, and one day managed to find the owner in the garage and I asked him who did their landscaping, and he referred me to Pacific Outdoor Living (POL). My front yard was previously just grass, and I wanted something a little more water friendly, and something that I thought fit the environment of living in the Southwest better. POL listened to what I wanted and created a design that fit my specifications... I wanted to go very minimal, and I had specific plants & color patterns I was looking for. The end result was lovely! I get compliments on my landscaping quite often from neighbors! As someone who is NOT good at keeping plants alive, I love my minimalistic/easy maintenance landscaping now. Its easy and efficient! It also looks like a lovely desert oasis! I wish I had better photos to share, but its hard to capture it well in photographs.

The team at POL were amazing to work with from start to finish. They did very large hillside job for me that was very complex and technical and involved numerous deep caissons and a laser level infinity edge. They even custom measured me to make sure the hot tub jets were in the right location. Our back yard is like a resort and magazine worthy.

They were actually the most expensive quote we received but after reviewing all the line items we realized they were accounting for things other contractors did not include in their bid but are necessary (such as redoing the sprinkler system after installing the pool). Pacific Outdoor Living redid our backyard in fall 2022 and I am so happy with the results. We had a new paver patio put in, all new landscaping, sod, sprinklers, and a pergola. The also installed electricity for outdoor fans and lighting around the plants. We were hoping to have it done by the summer time, but the permit situation in Burbank is ridiculous and it took eight months to get the permits. Once we got the permits, everything went like clockwork and everyone was so great to work with. Jordan who did our plans, Max who dealt with Burbank to get our permits, and Trent and Luis who handled the construction and landscaping were the ultimate professionals. They were always available and answered any issues we had in a timely manner. We are hoping to do the front yard with them soon. Thankfully, we will not need any permits for that:) I highly recommend this company.

In our consultation, he suggested some changes that showed him for the design superstar he is (for instance, he suggested a ramp instead of stairs when he learned that I move large items in and out of the house many times a week). He took our small feedback items and made great adjustments. Juan Horta was our project manager. We were given an estimated 6 week timeline and they finished about a week early. Juan communicated clearly with my husband via text and calls and was very responsive to questions. Luis Suarez was in charge of the landscape crew and they were awesome! I love gardening and the crew was SO patient with me. They checked in before placing plants and rocks to make sure I was happy. They did a wonderful job without my input, but it was really special for me to be able to make those minor adjustments for my specific taste. Invoicing department was easy to work with and polite; they even asked for pictures of the project just so they could see! Front office/scheduling were great and even had reserved a parking space for us when we came in for consultations. We will work with Pacific Outdoor again. Many neighbors ask for their number and random people passing by on the street give the yard compliments. High quality and timeliness; you definitely get what you pay for. Project came in on-budget.

We hired Pacific Outdoor Living to landscape and remodel our entire front yard, back yard and both side yards. They worked with us on multiple visits to create the perfect set of plans that not only met our budgetary requirements, but also was beautiful. They started on time, cleaned up after themselves each day and finished the project even before they had projected. After the project was done, they came by several times to ensure everything was growing and not dying. They were very attentive to each part of the project and ensured that we were happy with all aspects. I would recommend Pacific Outdoor Living to anyone looking to beautify their property.

Our backyard was all dirt with an old pool. We used POL to install drainage and pavers throughout the back, as well as remodel our pool. They did an INCREDIBLE job. Everyone has been blown away. We had a small problem with one of the drains and a pressure valve, but they came right out to fix them. Hoping to use them when were ready to start work on the front of our house.

Words simply do not express how much we love our new Pacific Outdoor Living backyard, thanks in very large measure to Design Group Lead John Durso and to Project Lead Trent Morrill. Every aspect of the project ran like clockwork. Each crew - demolition, framing/masonry, pavers and flatwork, low voltage lighting, trees and plants, drainage and irrigation knew exactly what to do, working efficiently and tirelessly. Each crew was always mindful of our needs, often asking how they could help us. For example, we were carrying a large, heavy box to our garage, and workmen stopped what they were doing to help us. Even after the project had been completed, the landscape supervisors came back to check on the trees and plants to make sure that all was well. Quality and professionalism do not simply happen. Pacific Outdoor Living did a great job on our patio. We were very happy with the quality of the work. In particular, the project manager on the job was very professional and responsive. We relied heavily on Trents advice and expertise.

I had originally planned on getting concrete for our front circular driveway. We were replacing a HIDEOUS asphalt, and wanted to avoid re-doing the asphalt for aesthetic and environmental reasons. I called Pacific to get a concrete quote, and found out they dont do it. Never could I have imagined that I would be able to get pavers- but was transferred to Glen who explained the strength and sustainability of pavers at a fraction of the cost of concrete! The difference of the look from what we had to pavers is night and day. The value of our home jumped up as well. Working with Pacific was smooth and easy, bless them with my indifference in choosing the pavers I wanted... We ended up with pavers, decomposed granite and astroturf. We replaced our side (un-utilized for cars) driveway with fake grass and now doubled our outdoor living space because of it. The crews who came out for the demo, pavers, dg to turf were absolutely wonderful to work with. Normally, you are excited to have your home back, but I genuinely enjoyed their crews every step of the way.

From design to final inspection they were very professional and got the job done as quickly as possible. They actually finished early, which anyone who has major construction done is not the norm. We had to make changes on the fly, which with other contractors can be a long process, not the case with POL. Even after completion they got me references for gardeners and pool services, both which have turned out to be great. The only thing anyone really needs to know is would you use them again or recommend them. The answer is definitely.YES.

Working with Pacific Outdoor Living to re-landscape my backyard has been a very gratifying experience. After filling in my pool and spa earlier in the year, I needed help in the re-landscaping. Because of the excellent job this company (named Pacific Pavingstone at that time) did in paving my front driveway 16 years ago, I decided to seek their help again since they have expanded into landscaping as well. Trent Morrill and designer Sean Stoltz came up with some excellent ideas on how to tackle my project which is on a hillside with a badly deteriorating redwood deck. Sean came up with an excellent design which also incorporated some of my ideas as well. From the start to to the finish, everything went well. The various crews and their supervisors worked together well. All the workmen like Onesimo, Emilio, Nikola, Sammy, Oscar, Jose, and Freddie were very professional and did an excellent job at their specialty. Each crew left the worksite neat and clean each evening. The project was completed on time and we are most pleased with our new backyard. I would certainly use them again for my next project. I recommend Pacific Outdoor Living highly.

Designer and then the people who planted and did the backyard were all professional. Did what they were supposed to do. Not cheap, but thorough. I would have liked a follow up at six months, a year, and 1.5 years to ensure things had gone the way we expected. Brick work was stunning. Lighting was excellrnt. In the end, these guys were professional and delivered what they promised. Would use them again for sure.

Pacific outdoor living were one of the best contractors I have ever worked with, they were professional, extremely good quality, on time, responsive, and didnt quibble little details. Emphasis on the quality, they do really good quality for a fair price. very happy with them and would use them again. They did my paver patio (1000 sq ft), as well as my neighbors.

I had my small patio and landscaping done by Pacific Outdoor Living probably 8-10 years ago. First, the time they were willing to put into my project was superior. Brian was my main contact and he was great. I am not super decisive and they were most patient. Mind you, this was a small job! We did wind up having an issue with plant selection but they really went the extra mile to fix the problem of an invasive species (it was a bamboo that was gorgeous but unfortunately spread like a weed). Now I had contractors replace/paint my front door and they got paint in the wood deck. I called to ask for the name of the wood product used at my house. Per usual, they were professional and promised to call me back before end of day to let me know. I really just appreciate how customer service oriented this company is! Don t hesitate. These guys are really good!

Update 9-20-22: As a result of my previous review, I received a call from John, one of their lead designers. He apologized for the experience I had with their call center and thanked me for letting him know. He further explained the experience I had was not normal. We had a very productive and professional conversation regarding our project needs, expectations and their process. He spent about 45 mins with me to better understand our project and highlighted how they would approach the project. While it does not look like our objectives are aligned regarding what we are expecting from a design to build partner, and the process they use for projects. I left the call very impressed with John and his professionalism and pragmatic approach to addressing my concerns. Based on our conversation, I am changing my review to 5 stars for responsiveness and professionalism. While I am not able to review their work directly, I am impressed with the way they responded to my concerns. I would recommend giving them a shot for projects that are suited for their design and build process. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ After visiting their website I was very impressed with the photos, so I contacted their appointment specialist. She was very rude from the start of the conversation and only got worse. She answered the call like she did not want to be there in the first place, and during the call she kept interrupting me , oh, hold on a sec, never mind, they hung up. This happened 4 times during our short call, and resulted with me having to continually repeat information I had already provided. Our project is a large project, 1.5 acres, 2-3 pergolas, outdoor kitchen, living spaces, pavers, synthetic turf, walk thru gardens, pool decking, bath house, landscaping, lighting, water features, fire features etc. As you can imagine, it is going to be a bit pricey. So when she explained their process of charging me $800 or maybe more for a site visit, and then I would need to go into their office to meet with a designer who would place the elements in the yard and create a 3-D drawing - WITHOUT even visiting my home and doing a walkthrough first, was very odd to me. For a project of this this size, I was expecting to have someone come to my home and we could talk about how we wanted to use the yard, determine our needs, our style, etc. She then tried to explain some very lame analogy of how you would not visit a dentist and just ask them to pull out your teeth. To be honest, I think she did not understand the purpose of the analogy and she must have gotten it wrong, because it made no sense. She gathered my all my info, and then asked if I would be ok paying the $800 or more to have someone come out to measure my yard. I said no, that I wanted to at least meet with a consultant or designer first to discuss idea and options first, then I would be happy to pay the $800 or more to have my yard measured if we agreed on the basics. She then (very rudely) told me we dont do free consults. And that is when I said thank you, but no thank you. In summary, this seems like a very cookie cutter company that plugs in standard elements into a measured drawing. I was hoping for a more bespoke approach. I was very excited to work with them based on the projects represented on their website and high ratings. It is a shame that an appointment specialist can kill a large project like this in less than 10 mins with one very poor phone interaction.

We used Pacific Outdoor Living to design and build a new backyard living area. We love the results! Everyone we worked with was responsive and the project completed within the expected time and on budget. My wife and I are exceedingly pleased with the results of our backyard Japanese design landscape. We had a lower price from another contractor, but we had concerns with their timeliness and the detail of the work. The Pacific Outdoor Living team, which was large, were excellent in both areas. Pacific Outdoor Living recently installed pavers on my driveway, two walkways and a porch. They did an exceptional job without any issues. The crew was excellent and friendly and always went out of their way to ensure we were happy during the entire installation. During the last rain we had two drainage lines scoped to assure that there would not be any issues. One line under the new driveway showed it was collapsed and could cause a drainage issue. I called Pacific and asked them if they could help me with the situation. Without hesitation they came over and assessed the situation and said they could fix the drainage line. In just a few days the crew arrived and skillfully removed the needed pavers, saw the issue and installed the new line, an improved line and within less than 5 hours. You would never have known that they were there, or anything was done, exceptional workmanship. Also, I would like to mention the crews professionalism and friendly demeanor. I want to thank the crew and the management team at Pacific for making this happen so effortlessly. Makes feel good to have selected Pacific Outdoor Living for my landscaping needs.

Industrial area to be sure, but a very nice set-up inside. More importantly, the people are very professional and proactive in planning a job. They listen to home owners concerns and questions and work hard to get it done.

Design process was very good! However, execution, ie supervision, preparation of soil, and quality of some plants used was very poor. To date we still have various plants, including trees, hedges, and roses that were supposed to have been removed completely coming up from root stock left everywhere in the soil! Trip lines installed did not effectively water all new plantings!

Excellent workmanship!

Pacific Outdoor Living completed my backyard/driveway paving project, which included a 6 tall block wall. Three sets of crew work on this project which took about 10 days. First was the demo, with three members. This was an amazing trio that worked seamlessly together to break the old concrete and haul it away with Bobcat and a huge dump truck. The second crew set the block wall, which came out MUCH better than what I expected. The last crew leveled the entire driveway with sand and then laid the pavers one-by-one with an incredible pace and accuracy. They had to make cuts and adjustments to the pavers and it was a cool experience watching the transformation of the driveway/backyard with the new pavers in place. Jorge was the project manager and he communicated all the steps along the way and did a good job in keeping the project on track. I must also mention the no-pressure, make-sense, and informative approach of our estimator, Ken, who provided our free estimate and went over it with my wife to adjust the scope as we went further into the process. POL was recommended by my co-worker and I will recommend them to potential customers without any reservations. My brother-in-law has seen our pavers and is already considering POL for his own house in La Crescenta area

We were very impressed with every aspect of Pacific Outdoor Livings service, from the design phase consultations to the final completion of work. If anything, things went TOO fast and we didnt fully absorb and react to some changes (that we requested. Again, completely on us) before they were implemented. The quality of the work is superb, and we are happy with the results. The crew was responsive, courteous, and completed the work under the amount of time estimated.

I found this company on Angie s List. The total project was $63,000 which includes 2250 sq footage of paving stone, pond-less water fall, BBQ island, patio extension, wrought iron gate and complete landscape. The project was a nightmare from start to end. The sales person changed quote on me from $8.00 per sq foot to $9.50 per sq foot to $10.50 per sq foot. He also changed the square footage on me from 1500 to 1800 after I told him to double check the measurement. After I signed the contract the company told me the sales person, Norm, was fired and the actual square footage was 2250 instead of 1800 on the contract. They also told me the paving stone I picked was $12.00 per square footage instead of $10.50. I was ready to pull the plug when the company agreed to not add additional cost. The paving stone and the waterfall went very well and very fast. However there were a lot of problems with the BBQ Island. There was a big gap between the bottom BBQ grill and the front wall of the island. The edges of the countertop were not straight and stucco for the BBQ wall was done poorly. The countertop looks uneven, very cheap and unfinished too. The company agreed to fix the gap and re-stucco the BBQ wall. At this point of the project, I found out although the company has many years in paving stone, they only started their landscape department three months ago. And they had only done a handful of BBQ Islands. So I gave up on asking the company to make the BBQ Island look better. Near the end of the project I also found out the company did not install the underground pipes for pot irrigation drips. That is when I realized, the company never got my landscape designers drawing from the sales person. After the sales person, Norm, was fired the company send another person, Harley, to go over the project with me before the project started. However, when I went over the project with Harley, I was told we are only going over some details. I did not know the company would work based on Harley s drawing instead of the drawing by my landscape designer. I thought the drawing by Harley is supposed to complement the drawing by my landscape designer, not replace it. Bottom line is, the sales person was not honest, the company had too many communication problems/layers, and the company is good for paving stone but not for complete landscape.
