I was able to get an appointment at short notice for a tire repair. Everyone was efficient knowledgeable and friendly. My tire was fixed promptly at a very reasonable price. I will be back for my and my wifes car when service is needed. Ill also recommend S & K auto to others. Thank you, Michael Allen. Every time they do my work its done well and very efficient and not over priced or over sold.

Jeremy was easy to deal with. My first time here. Fixed my rear brakes, installed a new battery and hood lifts. No issues. Will use again in the future.

I didn t have a good experience. I was quoted verbally $230 bill came to $490. Also at the time tried to tell me the heat shield was damaged before I got there but he opened the hood with me right there. Not damaged but now was. I just went to a Honda dealership for another issue and found parts of the innards of a starter under/on car chassis along with damage to a wire harness for the transmission. Starter should have been replaced not rebuilt Not sure what happened there. Maybe way it ended up costing so much. Will not be going back.

I had the best service ever from S & K Auto. I had a coolant leak and needed to drive my car 1600 miles within the next 3 days. This place diagnosed and fixed my problem within 2days. I also made my destination without any problems. I will definitely be back! Gregg

I picked up a hunk of road debris on I94 West on the way to Iowa and got a flat tire with no spare. I called the closest automotive garage, which was S & K and talked with Jeremy. Jeremy and his team of experts have done amazing work on my suburban amd everything in there power to fix any issue that has come up on my vehicle, without knowing much about the unit before I dropped it off with the them the first time. Their labor prices are very reasonable and competitive with other shops in the area and their turnaround time is very impressive and if there are any issues that arise while working on your vehicle they are very good at keeping you informed and updated as they find out whats going on with it. I needed a timing belt replaced on a 2010 chevy aveo 5 lt. I was told by a coworker that Jeremy was the best and would be a straight shooter. He took my car in and with in 10 mins he called with some extra issues on my car and explained what was needed. He was clear in telling me why this was needed and not to just let it go. The job was done in the proper time even with new problems. Also afterwards he gave the time to explain what was done and offer some advice on my future goals with repairs for the car. I really do appreciate the work that was done by the team and info from Jeremy. Thank you

Great service called and they got my truck in in no time to fix a leaky rear output shaft seal on 2017 f350 after they were done called me and I was able to pay over the phone because I work later than they are open. They informed me I needed brakes done so scheduled it a couple days later. Quick and good service reasonable prices also.

Had to have a motor replaced in my 2015 Silverado under warranty work. They did all of the hard work dealing with the warranty company. They went above and beyond for me to get me a new motor recommend 10 out of 10 to anyone out there looking for a real mechanic that is fair and will be honest about what your vehicle needs.

However, there is an underrated section to this company and that is Kevin on the landscaping side! Kevin is an honest, hardworking man and his landscaping team delivers at an extremely affordable cost! This is a legit business and both Kevin AND Jeremy have my families business for my lifetime here! A great family business that is honest, truthful, expedient and trustworthy! Would recommend S & K time and time again. Every experience has been good. First of all - everyone is kind, pleasant, professional and helpful. Second, the mechanics take time to explain things at length, no matter how busy. Third, the prices are fair. Fourth, I ve never left and had continued issues. Fifth, the last time I needed work done, I called the day before. I explained I just happened to wind up with the following day off and wondered if they could fit me in. It meant needing to drop the car off, but they were willing to and they totally made it work. I could keep going. A friend who is a mechanic, suggested this company months ago and I m so glad they did. I won t go anywhere else. Sidenote: I checked every type of maintenance I ve had done there which spans several years and vehicles.

I ve had nothing but great experiences at S & K. We have 5 vehicles and take them all to S & K for our oil changes, wheel alignments, tire rotation, and any other issues that may arise. Very fair prices and more importantly, great people and service!!

A friend recommended S&K a while back so I thought I d give them a try. I stopped on a Monday afternoon to ask if they had time to look at my brakes. They d been screeching for a week or so. He said he could work it in Wednesday or Thursday if I could drop off the car for the day. I scheduled Wednesday, dropping at 8am. He called around 9 to say it was the rear brakes only and gave me a reasonable quote - if there were no other issues, which I agreed to. He called at 11:00 am when it was completed and I picked the car up at 2:00. Would highly recommend! Friendly people and reasonably priced, not to mention fast service!

Between a Rock and a Hard Spot? Two hours from home? Better hope you are near S&K. I blew out my U-joint on I-94 and limped on down the shoulder on... well it wasnt the rim. But they got me in figured out I originally had the wrong U-joint in and got me back on the road. Thanks again I appreciate you getting back on the road.

Came to do my lawn and did half of a job. I call them to come take a look at what they did and they said they was coming back to see and never came until a week later but tried to charge me $221. The job was half done but they wanted there money. Talk to one of the staff and she was very unprofessional. Never again

I was referred here by my boyfriend to have them take a look at an AC issue with my car and although they were not able to fix my problem (due to an uncontrollable issue) they still were super helpful and were very pleasant to work with. I wish my issue wouldve been able to be resolved with them because I would 100% rather give my money to them than the dealership I had to go to and pay an arm and a leg. I definitely will be returning to S&K Auto in the future with any other help I need!

This probably shouldn t have to be said but I feel it s important to note good service and personal relations especially in today s climate. My husband and I are a mixed-race couple and have been treated with nothing but respect, professionalism and equality every time we ve been to S&K by all of the staff we ve interacted with (whether it s us as individuals coming in or as a couple). This kind of exceptional personal treatment is not always what we get at places of service. Additionally, S&K does great auto-mechanic work with quick turnaround time, prompt communication and reasonable prices. We ve never questioned their honesty in reporting issues with our cars (again, not always the case at other mechanics for us). We re really glad a friend of ours recommended S&K to us several months ago!

The auto shop is amazing. Prices are good and the turn around rate is phenomenal. I have had my diesel in there multiple times for add on parts and mechanical fixes, all of these times have been noticeably cheaper than if I had gone to another shop. They also do an amazing job on talking you through what is going on and what the issue is. Everytime I walk out of there I know exactly what was done and why. If you want a place that does quality work for a fair price, this is the place you need to go to. I will never take my vehicles anywhere else. Started getting some noise and a vibration on my truck. Called and talked to Jeremy asking when he could look at it, told me to come by after work same day. He looked at it and was very quickly able to diagnose the problem and let me know it wasnt in a good condition to drive without further damage. The next day he called and already had it repaired. Needed to find a shop on our way back from the Dells to Chicago for a bad vibration going over 65 mph. They took our car in immediately, determined it was only mass amounts of ice in the interior of the rims, fixed it right up & didnt even want to charge us for close to an hour of their time! Needless to say we threw the technician a nice tip! Really nice waiting area as well. Would absolutely recommend as a reputable, friendly, zero hassle shop. Thanks again!
