I highly, HIGHLY RECOMMEND Thames. We have been using Thames since 2020. I would not use anyone else. I love the woman who answers the phone. She is super friendly, such a sweet woman. I definitely enjoy the chat with her when I call! I found thames when I needed them for an emergency pump due to all the rain we had. We have some septic tank issues at the moment so we have had to use them more than the average person. However, they will be doing a new septic system for us when we have the money to do so.

We had an emergency late on a Friday afternoon. Our septic tank needed to be pumped. We called every septic service in the Florence,SC area and no one could/would help us. Thames came to the rescue! They drove over 45 mins to get to us and spent a good portion of their Friday evening pumping out the septic tank. They were friendly and informative! The best part is the awesome truck they drive, The Stool Bus!

I was concerned when I got a call from a tenant about a rentals septic on Saturday around 4 pm. Our problem first started when we had our sewage backing up into our home. We called Thames septic services on a Saturday morning and within an hour they were here. After pumping our tank, we found out that the sewage drain from the house was blocked still. We went ahead and scheduled them to come back out that Monday morning. Thames was here first thing Monday morning. They replaced the line running from the house to the septic tank. Unfortunately for us, the drain/feeder lines were still clogged and needed to be replaced. After many phone calls & texts back & forth with Carla helping us, because we were trying to coming up with the funds. She kept offering advice and different avenues to help. We were able to find the funds. We called Carla early and let her know we were ready for the work to done to finish the drain/feeder lines. Again, Thames was here within an hour or so. Through this whole process, we were told that we would be put at the top of the list whenever we came up with the funds. Thames did an excellent job during this whole process, from beginning to end. Everyone was extremely nice and curious. They went the extra mile to put the lawn back together and smooth out the dirt. It really look great!!. We will be recommending Thames to everyone for their sewage service. We cant thank them enough for their outstanding job that they did. Thank you again Carla, Jeremy & Squeeky.

Called to get my septic tank pumped out, they were Very prompt and professional. Answered many questions that I had about my septic system.

I called Thames Septic Service with an emergency earlier today. I had to have my septic tank pumped. From the time I called until they got me taken care of was no more than a couple hours. The gentleman was nice and informed me I had damaged drain lines which caused my tank to fill faster than normal. Now granted they were a little more expensive than a company I previously used, but it was worth it. I got same day service on a Saturday no less. I will use them again in the future.

I had my rental and my residence septic tanks pumped and will be using them to put in new drain lines at the rental. They were prompt and at the location before I could get there. They gave me very professional service and explained the current status of my system. I m very satisfied and will keep this company in my contacts for any future needs. 5 stars from me. Thanks!!!

Had to get my septic tank pumped out. They came out on a Sunday within an hour of my calling. Not only did they come out on the weekend, they also had to climb inside the tank to unclog the blockage. I was extremely impressed with there professionalism and attention to the issue. I would definitely recommend them to anyone.

Initially was impressed with the customer service and response. However, throughout the process of having my drain field replaced I started to loose my confidence. The crew was not transparent about damages caused, that I had to discover myself such as my roof shingles being damaged from the excavator. Also I was not spoken to when the work was completed, it felt rushed and like they wanted to leave and get their money. I felt like they also tried to get away with not completing all the work they had promised due, until I brought it up several times. When I tried to talk to the office manager about my concerns, she was hostile and would not let me explain my issues, not to mention calling me a liar. Not very happy about the service I was given. -- Response to owner -- Ive attached picture proof that the work was not finished until the 19th, and I did pay on the 22nd after getting off the phone with the office manager because I had not received the invoice, so I had it sent to another email. The work was not completed by the 15th like you say. Also It was not about being able to pay, it was about whether the job was finished. About the shingles, I brought up to the crew member and did not get any response. attached is the picture sent to the crew lead and the text about it. I brought up all my concerns, however I was not able to voice them to the crew because they rushed away without talking to me about the job being finished. When I tried to voice my concerns before the payment was sent, I was spoken to rudely and called a liar. The proof is in the pictures, and I can add more if you want to keep saying I am lying.

The staff took the time and explained in detail concerning my problem(s). They were on time and went right to work. Ms. Carla was right there with the crew working from the office keeping us informed on what is going on. Very professional and friendly. They left my yard prepared for new grass growth. Thank you very much.

We had to have new septic lines put down. They did a great job and fixed our sprinkler lines as they broke them along the process. I had issues with sprinkler lines afterwards but Jeremy came and fixed it for me the next day. Carla was wonderful via phone and text with responding to me and our issues. Just had new drain lines for my septic tank installed this week. I can honestly tell you it was the best customer service I ve had in a long time. Not going to talk about cost, however he was significantly lower than other competitors. He doesn t make you sign waiver letters that gives them permission to basically tear up your back yard and if they break something like sprinkling system then they are not responsible. I had two breaks in my piping and he was out there the next day and fixed it. Now don t get me wrong but I did a little prep work like marking sprinkler heads. Very honest and up front with pricing. He doesn t give you a range of what the cost might be. He gives you a price up front and that s what it stays. I told Mr. Thames yesterday I ve already got some more stuff I need to get. And as far as negative posts not quite sure what they are talking. BTY the company s name is Thames Landscaping and septic tank service.

To anyone at Shaw stay away from this company. I solicited their services while I was deployed in Iraq to mow my lawn because my wife was 7 months pregnant. When she called them to see when they were going to come out and mow the lawn they yelled at her on the phone and said they would get to it when they had time. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL

Notified Thames to come out and look at our sprinkler system. Crew of four arrived and worked on system. Needed to repair a leak underground. Charged nearly $180 for parts. Here is a breakdown of the invoice copy and pasted; Full irrigation inspection. Found major leak in front yard, pipe was broken in the T, had to cut out broken pipe and replace, used 2 Ts, 3/4 coupler w/sleeve slide, 3/4 pipe, 1 pipe, 3/4 to 1 bushing, 3/4 to 1 slip bushing, glue. Checked every head; replaced 1 rotor head, 2 pop-up heads, 3 tips, adjusted all heads as needed for proper direction and water flow. Got pump working again.>> Priced those parts at Lowes, they barely came to $50 Furthermore, nothing was wrong with the pump to begin with, yet they listed it as if they repaired it. They were on the job for a total of 78 minutes. We were charged $533. Over $350 in labor alone. Attorneys dont even charge those rates. Terribly expensive and absolutely will not hint at their labor charge. Dont even bother with these crooks.

Worked with them all summer long, over all excellent service.... That is until there was an issue and the true unprofessional nature of this organization came through. This week only 1/2 my lawn was done. The workers claimed there were 4 dogs attacking them and they left. No one called or attempted to contact me about this issue. It was not until I called that is was told this story. I was also informed that I would be charged a full service for the incomplete job. When I explained that I dont have 4 dogs nor do I care to pay full price for half a job, the person on the phone started yelled and ranting.. Completely unprofessional!! It is sad, the work (when done) is great, but the management is terrible.
