We have used Coastal Turf since moving to Charleston in 2015. They make sure our lawn is looking good doing everything from weed control, fertilizing, seeding and sod installation. I trust them to do their very best in spite of the sometimes challenging conditions we experience here. Our technicians, Brianna and Ron, are very careful and communicate very well with us.

Also Lawn fertilization services. As to Bri Chandler, the best summary is high praise: she makes the company look good!!! She is personable and knowledgeable and is a great listener. Coastal Turf is the most professional outfit I have dealt with in years for our lawn . Our lawn is weed free while many of the others including the common area are full of weeds. Coastal Turf does a fantastic job and my lawn has never been so good in years thanks to them. They are very meticulous when they come. I have even watched them on my security camera and the guys cover every inch of the property. They never leave any lawn out.

I used Coastal Turf for the first time today to aerate my lawn. The company was very professional. Not just the management, but the field workers were very professional too. They showed on time in a truck with logos and three nice core aerators, so I new this was a ligit business. Before leaving, they verifed that I was happy with the work performed. Due to having dogs, I needed to be here when the work was performed, and they were able to accomodate my schedule. Based on my experience, I would recommend this company, and I will certainly use them in the future.

Coastal Turf has saved my lawn! In March my lawn was mostly grown over with weeds and what grass was left was brown and brittle to say the least. Coastal Turf came out promptly to look at it and started the treatment within that week. The customer service side has been friendly and also knowledgeable with answering all of my questions (and I have plenty every time they come). Now I have a beautiful green lawn, thick and weed free! I am very happy with the job they have done and I highly recommend them!

Coastal re-sodded my entire back yard and a portion of my front. The crews were friendly and professional. No messing around - right to work. The grass is doing great, thick and growing. Many compliments from the neighbors. They also have continued with spraying quarterly. I highly recommend them for anything they would do in your yard.

Coastal Turf has transformed my yard in less than 1.5 years of treatments. I thought so many of the shrubs and plants could not be saved but Michael helped me bring everything back to life! Previous homeowners made several attempts to grow grass in my front yard with no luck. We consulted several sod companies and went with Ross at Coastal Turf to not only install the sod but to also do the pest/weed control. They did the install in April 2019 but I didnt rush a review based on the installation (which they did a great job with). Keeping the grass (based on prior homeowner attempts) was going be the big test. I have to say, I am very pleased with Coastal Turf all the way around. My grass came back nicely after winter and looks amazing. Anytime I have a concern I just call the office and they send someone out to address my concern. A couple months after the installation we received yard of the month. We are still getting compliments on our yard. Everyone I have spoken to has been knowledgeable and professional. I highly recommend them!

I have been extremely pleased with the results from Coastal Turf. They started treatments in March of this year. The front yard just keeps getting better and better. The backyard had dog damage and I did not expect to see any results until next year. Im pleasantly surprised that it has already filled in and the grass is stronger & healthier than it has been in quite some time. We definitely have the best looking yard on the street. This is the second house Coastal Turf has treated. Two different lawns and environments and both lawns look great.

I hired Coastal Turf last year for lawn treatment service. My grass is now dead. They blamed my dead lawn on everything but their poor service. They also killed my hostas and some other ornamental landscape plants that I had in the yard due to careless spraying.

Ross laid sod for us as well as some landscaping and has done various lawn treatments. He and his team are very professional and do a great job every time. Highly recommended!

When getting the service I contacted the guy in the neighborhood doing the work. He was very polite and answered my questions as best he could. He told me that they service every 4 to 6 weeks. I did not hear from them for almost 8 weeks after that. The Office called me to let me know they would be coming out and it would be double charge which I was not made aware of and the initial estimate. She let me know that it was the only thing in red on the contract with an attitude that was very undesirable. I had some more questions which she continued to answer with a condescending tone and a matter of fact attitude. I simply did not understand some things and how it worked. As our conversation finished I Decided to cancel my service due to the attitude of the office manager and a lack of information I was given from The beginning. It basically came down to the office managers lack of customer service.

Signed up with Coastal Turf to perform regular maintenance on my yard (fertilizer, herbicides etc). First treatment was good, second and third treatment it seemed the a lot of areas were not covered. I could tell because it was granular fertilizer. This wasnt just on the new sod areas I had. Some of the areas herbicide were applied killed the weeds, but several areas were skipped. The other issue I had was with communication. I had Coastal turf out to give me a quote on replacing sod, and was told I would receive a quote immediately. I never received an answer but I sure did get my bill. TruGreen is the way to go unfortunately, I wanted to support a local business but it didnt work out.
