Abdul from the lighting and irrigation team did an amazing job updating the lights around our property, including a wide variety of lighting types to showcase different aspects of the landscape (trees, patio, pond / water feature) - highly recommended!

I’ve used the irrigation team for many years and they are fantastic! Abdul and his colleagues are always professional, creative, helpful and responsive. The quality of their work is great and I’d highly recommend the irrigation team at a blade of grass.

This review is specific to the irrigation department. I have been using their irrigation department for years and have been very happy with it. This year Abdul redesigned my old system to much better effect. He is quick to respond, pleasant, and does great work!

Very poor service! Avoid this company! We ordered a flowering dogwood from them in spring 2020 & they finally came to plant the tree in August- right after a heat wave . We carefully followed all care instructions- it died before the leaves dropped . We tried to get them to replace the tree the following spring- again they didn’t get to us until August to finally replant the tree . It was hot. Again , we watered carefully. The tree lasted until late winter , then died. We called in April about getting a replacement tree or refund. No response. Called repeatedly, left messages , email etc. In July I finally threatened them with small claims court . That got their attention & finally a response . Then they offered us one third of our initial cost! They never explained their terms of service or anything ! Customer service with this company is awful !

My wife and I engaged a Blade of Grass after meeting with multiple landscape designers. It was a new process for us to learn and navigate through and it was clear from the first phone call that they were the right choice for us. The process was extremely thorough and combined our dream design, education, iteration, and (most importantly) partnership. We could not be happier with the end result (with many compliments from family, friends, and strangers), but the whole Blade team became a part of our daily lives throughout the project. The team's communication, collaboration, work ethic, and pride in their work was unquestionable. It is clear that the company values the relationship with their customers, but also their employees. Every interaction with each member of the Blade team was a complete joy (Colin, Dio, Atilla, Abdul, Sean, and too many others to name). They are true masters in their domain (just look at their portfolio on social media), but what truly sets them apart are their employees and the experience with each of them.

I have been a customer of A Blade of Grass for the past 14years and I have never been disappointed in any work they have done for me. I live in a Brownstone in the city and have 3 small garden areas. Each year I do a Winter planting and a Summer planting, and each garden is difference. A Blade of Grass has a great team and is very knowledgeable about flowers, plants and how to best stage my gardens. I am very particular about what I like and my Blade of Grass team leader is fantastic! She listens to me and never fails in bringing my beloved gardens to life. A Blade of Grass Is not inexpensive but I believe that for their level of work you are getting your money’s worth. I would highly recommend them and I know you will always be happy with their work! Tom, Colin, Alex, and Wagno- were a pleasure to work with - polite, professional, and friendly – a refreshingly positive experience. The quality was outstanding. We will hire them again without question for new projects this coming year.
