Really subpar intake process. They asked me for a ton of information upfront before speaking with me and I only got a short, we re not a good fit for this project response. Was it the project? Budget? Something else? Really disappointing experience.

Bathroom Renovation We had such a great experience with Provost!! We turned our outdated half bath into a updated sheek full bath. We worked closely with the crew in our home and were quick to be informed or responded by the owner himself. Dana and Dan did wonderful work and where there for any and all questions and support through the process. They were thorough but also quick which we appreciated having a toddler running around. I would suggest this company to anyone looking to upgrade their home big or small - you get the best customer service and product around!!

I was working with Bill about some renovation work for my condo in Brookline. As we are waiting for the city to approve the plans there was a fire in the kitchen of the restaurant in the building. The electrical was compromised for the restaurant and the 3 residential units. Bill was able to come out the day after I called him and had electrical back up and running in a few days and the residents could move back in. Greatly appreciated on the quick turn around.

The team at Provost are great. Dan, the bathroom installer did an amazing job working through a challenging remodel job for us. We could not be more pleased with the outcome. Also, Id like to mention that Chris and his team did a wonderful job on our fall cleanup. We look forward to the spring cleanup this year. Great Job and great company.

Yard services are top notch. The personal, are honest and fair in what needs to be done and neatly laid out the plan for the year.

This company REALLY cares about the success of your lawn. Not only did they understand my needs, they worked precisely within the budget and made it happen. They offered a lot of advice and took a lot of time to plan out the project so that it would be successful. After the project was complete, they followed up multiple times to make sure the lawn was growing properly. Just unbelievable impressed with the level of care the Company took to help us get our lawn back in action. Normally I would fertilize myself, but now am hiring them for their service plan and having them take care of the lawn permanently. Wonderful company!

Phase 2 completion In 2020, we decided to rebuild our home of 45 years. The most important thing for us was to hire the best people for the project. Once the rebuild of the house and the construction of the garage was complete, we had an absolutely beautiful home but our yard was a complete disaster. Before the project started we knew, by reputation, Bill Provosts company was the one we wanted to design, build and maintain our landscaping. We began the first phase of the landscaping project in July 2022. I showed Bill some drawings I made in 2020 and told him I wanted cobblestones around the driveway, a stone patio with walkways, plantings around the yard that changed with the seasons and a really great lawn. I told him my yard was his blank canvas, have fun. Phase one was completed Nov 2022. This saw 95 of the stone work completed (the walkways, patio and cobblestones), a dry well and a trench to resolve water issues, front gardens and cherry trees, the driveway and our lawn with irrigation. Phase 2 ...March June 2023. Trees and stumps removed, overreach from the tree line cleared, 4 more trees planted and many plantings in additional garden areas. It looks incredible, like a mini-mansion! Phase 3 will begin soon...stay tuned!

William and his team completed two big projects at our home. They worked with us from the design through renovation completion of a complete basement reno and main floor kitchen reno. William was responsive, creative, helped us stay within our budget (even when unexpected issues happened), and very detailed oriented. We used Provost to completely overhaul our front and back yard and to tear down and rebuild our deck in Pembroke. We couldn t be happier with the results. From the get go you could tell working with this company was going to be different. They just cared more about us and the project than I have ever experienced from any other home improvement company. From weekly meetings responsiveness to emails and calls there wasn t a single moment where we felt unsupported or out of the loop. The whole team is so kind and professional. From the top of the company to the newest worker on the team they not only get the job done but make you feel secure through the process. The end product is nothing short of stunning and we have signed up to stick with them for our yard maintenance as well and they have been so on point with that!! I cannot reccomend this company more. It s clear that they all like working together and they will make you feel like part of the team. Trust us, you won t be disappointed with the results.

We hired Provost for front yard landscaping renovation. They were professional and on time from the start, very easy to communicate with and the employees were friendly and knowledgeable about the plants/trees and care required. My wife and I recently purchased a fixer upper in Weston with 37 tree stumps on a steep hill. Bill was nice enough to come to the house and instantly saw our vision with the property. I cannot tell you how many contractors we spoke with degraded our house and only left to make us feeling worse about our purchase. Bill saw the vision and wanted to be part of the story and bringing our old home back to life. We hired PCI to remove stumps in our steep hillside yard and they did a fantastic job over 3 days. Great communication, polite workers who are on time and left everything better than they found it. As we chip away with our landscaping, PCI has our business going forward with our property and years to come.

Provost Construction confidently took on our daunting driveway drainage issue with great attention to detail, impressive skill, and spectacular customer service. We discovered that our newly purchased house was on a high water table that produced dangerous ice conditions in the winter on our driveway. Ice on our driveway melted slowly and the lack of drainage caused most of the driveway to be a hazard to us, visiting family, and delivery persons. Provost Construction installed an impressive system of collection tanks which have been working spectacularly. The project took several weeks, but it somehow was barely disruptive for our busy family. Their team was excellent at communicating with us and even helped us communicate with an anxious neighbor. Provost Construction was very neat, detailed, and professional, and went the extra mile at every opportunity. I highly recommend Provost Construction for your project.

We hired Provost Companies to redo two full baths. Greatest decision we could have made. They completely transformed both spaces. Not only was their execution flawless, but they were very easy to work with. Dan did our bathrooms and became a part of our family. We were sincerely sad for the job to be over since we now cannot see him everyday. Overall a great experience. Will be hiring them back for more work in the future. Highly recommend.

I would highly recommend the Provost Company for any job. I needed to have shower safety bars installed for my wife. They were extremely professional as they purchased the safety bars as well. They asked me questions first before installing them. Great workmanship and pleasant to deal with.

A positive experience with Provost Companies. They installed a French drain a year ago and I couldn t be happier. I needed to replace the cap on the drain when I hit it with the mower. My fault but they came and replaced it at no charge. Thanks Kris for taking care of this for me!

Will and Dan have both been absolutely nothing but professional and fantastic to work with. They helped us transform our super old kitchen into a fresh, new, and (most importantly) functional space. From the start they were very easy to work with and made some great suggestions on the project. Renovating a kitchen while not only still living there, but working from home can be very stressful but Will and Dan made it a breeze. 5 stars, would 100% recommend.

There are few occasions as a homeowner that you have people into your home that start as contractors and end as friends the Provost team: Dan, Project Manager; Doug and Sean, carpenters are such people. From the minute we committed to William Provost, Principal, to do our addition to this afternoon, completion, it was a flawless, seamless operation. The planning for access, the positioning of materials, the unobtrusive presence, the daily communication and general compatibility between the team and ourselves was perfect let me say that again perfect! Our crew would communicate each days objective, weekly timetable and progress. They showed up each day regardless of the cold weather and snow. When they could not, we knew by 8:00 but there were only three or four days that prohibited safe working conditions. They all had suggestions, born of experience, that fine tuned our project. They listened to our suggestions and told us their experiences and what to expect. As with any project, we had changes and modifications, all of which were communicated to us in the form of cost, time and results all of which were right on the money. Their sub contractors: flooring, roofing, plastering, plumbing, heating, and electrical were professional and timely giving us a battery of sources for future needs. The materials, effort, care, attention to detail and concern for our money and time are entities that are invaluable! Everything worked, fitted and looked as we planned. This two story addition is built like battleship better than the house, it is insulated, heated and fitted with excellent Harvey windows and doors. I cannot recommend William, Dan, Doug and Sean enough! They have been terrific! They also kept an eye out for our three dogs, being very careful in keeping doors closed and aware of their presence. All in all it was a great experience!

Highly recommend Provost Companies. They completely transformed our unusable backyard into a magazine worthy space that we could not have envisioned on our own (a beautiful bluestone patio with stone sitting wall, gas firepit, and deck with built in stone kitchen). They are extremely responsive, pay great attention to the details, are transparent about budget and costs, and the quality of their work is amazing. They literally do everything you could need for your home or landscape projects, which makes things so much easier to not have to manage multiple companies for different tasks. We hired them for landscape maintenance after our project was finished, and are already thinking about future projects!

Provost Companies did a fantastic job replacing a crumbling retaining wall on our property. They were professional from the moment we met them, presenting various options and working with us to keep to budget. The result is a beautiful wall that presents an attractive welcome to our property while doing the job that it s meant to do. This photo was taken 4 years after the work was done and the wall looks good as new! I thoroughly recommend Bill and his team. In fact, we just hired them to rework our front steps and know that we ll be as happy with the results of this new project.

Provost Companies is an absolutely stellar company to work with. Everybody on the team, from Will down to the grounds crews, are friendly, knowledgeable, courteous, and most importantly extremely skilled. We hired Provost to take over our landscape contract toward the end of the season this year; for any landscaper, coming into a new property months into the season presents a number of challenges that most companies could not realistically overcome. Provost met them all; in a months time, our irrigation system was working again, the plants/grass look great, and we went from daily complaints about the bad condition of the grounds to daily compliments about how great they look. I can only imagine how it would be if they had been our contractor all year! I highly recommend them, both personally and as a property manager for a large apartment community. Easily the best landscapers Ive worked with, and all the other work they do has been top notch as well (masonry, rebuilding a retention wall, facade work, etc.) Only give these guys a call if you want top-quality service, reasonable pricing, and access to expertise in a broad variety of fields.

Great company construction landscape maintenance .

Bill was very responsive to my inquiry for some structural work I needed done on my 100 year old home. I hired Provost companies in the end to do the work, due to not only their responsiveness, but also punctuality. Ive had many issues with companies not being timely or following up, so this went a LONG way for me. Dan was the project manager, and he was great to work with. He gave status updates, and was understanding to my many questions as a first-time homeowner. The guys who worked on the project were friendly and courteous (Ive had experiences with workers being crude and the like) which was refreshing. And most importantly, everyone loved my two dogs and made sure to pet them :) I will definitely hire them again for other projects that this old house will be needing.

I am posting on behalf of my family who has worked with Billy and the Provost Companies on several home projects. After a tertiary company delivered tile for an upcoming bathroom re-model with Provost Companies, they left the tile out on the end of the driveway. My step-father was unable to carry the items into the home due to medical issues. My mother called Bill, and within minutes, a crew from Provost Companies arrived and carried in over 200 lbs worth of tile into the home, without any hesitation. It was an act of kindness that meant the world to my family. It is yet another example of service excellence. Thank you so much!

We had water damage in our kitchen and the entire kitchen needed to be rebuilt, so I was looking around for contractors. Provost Companies had good reviews, so I gave them a call. William was very responsive and made the proposal process easy. They removed everything from the kitchen, replaced the floor all the way down to the joists, and rebuilt the kitchen. The project was managed by Dan, who clearly understood the entire project and I was confident that he could accurately communicate the details to the subcontractors (who were also professional and did good work). The finish details were great, and Dan took the time to fix some issues that were the fault of our cabinet company. The crown molding didnt come ready to mount on the top of the frameless cabinets, so Dan came up with a custom method, which was more labor intensive for him, but he wanted to do it the right way. Bottom line, if I have another project and I need a contractor, I wont need to shop around - Ill just call Provost.

Bill and his team were incredible. Entire team was easy to work with, proactive with communication and the quality of the work is top notch. Seeing that this project began right at the beginning of the quarantine, it did create some challenges but Bill was on top of all the regulations required to be able to keep the work moving. I couldnt be happier with the result. After completion of this project we were so happy that we are working with Bill to put on a new 3 season deck and outdoor patio.

I recently had my basement finished by Provost Companies Inc. They did a spectacular job and employees were very friendly, trustworthy, and professional. They did a great job and I m very happy with the work. I was never able to enjoy my basement until now and it needed a major face lift. So happy definitely give them a call.

Having worked with Provost Companies for quite some time, I can say that everything that their team touches is done with careful consideration, lots of planning, and flawless execution. I first started working with Bill and his team 4 years ago taking on landscaping work. Curb appeal in my industry is everything, so having a proactive landscape team makes all of the difference. I soon started giving snow removal work to PCI, and was equally impressed with their attention to detail and proactivity when it came to planning for storms, and grooming the properties after each storm. Their construction division has tackled well in excess of $500k in capital projects for me in that time, and every job is executed with care and detail. We just had a major landscaping project completed at our home by Provost Companies. We had 30 6-7 Arborvitaes planted along our property line, new sod, irrigation system extension, re-grading, etc. We are thrilled with our decision to use Provost Companies! The entire crew is professional, on-time every single day, care that the job is done right and to our satisfaction, and a pleasure to deal with. They came back every day for 2 weeks to ensure that the sod and trees were taking correctly and irrigation system was working correctly - set to optimal timing to ensure that the sod and trees were getting enough water in changing weather patterns. We wouldnt hesitate to work with Provost Companies again!

We had a bathroom remodel project and researched some area contractors. Provost had good reviews and when we reached out they were courteous, timely, and safe especially when it came to COVID-19 measures. We are very pleased with the new bathroom and the Provost team worked hard to ensure that it was completed on time. They were knowledgeable and considerate throughout the project. The estimate was fair and there were not any surprises. Provost kept good records of the costs and even refunded us money once the project was complete. We ve worked with other contractors in the past and Provost was the best experience from start to finish. I will work with Provost again would absolutely recommend them for home projects

Provost Companies, Inc., from the beginning of the project to the end, has been an absolute pleasure to work with. Im someone who has lived in South Florida their entire lives, where sunshine and rainfall is plentiful. Having recently relocated to MA, I wasnt aware of all the maintenance (aside from regular mowing) involved in caring for a lawn. That being said, this past spring I was surprised when I saw my lawn was covered in everything but grass. I was embarrassed and ashamed at my lawns condition. In the end of summer, I reached out to Provost and they quickly installed an irrigation system, and renovated the lawn. Theyve kept me well informed and answered ALL of my questions (and I had a lot!). They worked quickly, and professionally. The grass is germinating now, and it already is a marked improvement over what it was in the spring. My wife and I are finally able to look at our yard and feel happy with what we see. Bill and his team successfully removed and procured a large section of housing foundation that was in need of dire repair! The task was completed in a very timely manner, within our budget, and the worksite was kept in clean order for the entire duration of the project. I recently contracted Provost Company for some home improvements. The first was the rebuilding of the deck. They were wonderful. Their eye for detail was amazing. I absolutely love it. The second project was to replace the laminate floors throughout the kitchen, dining room and living room. It only took 2 days and looks terrific. The crew was friendly and respectful. William kept me informed during the whole process. He was readily accessible and just a phone call away. I would definitely recommend them and will contract them for any future projects
