We switched from JC Ehrlich to Joshua tree in Stockertown PA, probably at least 5 years ago; which was such a smart move on our part! Joshua Tree and their pest control team are fanastic! We even recommned them to our customers, that need a pest control service. Rita has been our pest control technican, at my work place, for the last few months. She is such a breath of fresh air. Whenever she stops in for our scheduled services, she always comes in and says Hello, and then immediately asks me if I have seen activity, or if there are any specific problem areas, that she should investigate and treat. She may be small in stature, but she is a mighty force, highly skilled, and always does a fantastic job. Before she leaves, she always gives me a summary of her findings, lets me know if there is anything we can be doing, or anything we should be be doing differently, to cut down on activity. I love seeing women absolutely killing it, in typically male-dominated industries. Courtney is also another amazing female tech that Joshua Tree in Stockertown PA, is lucky enough to have. She hasnt had us on her schedule in a while, but when she did, she was also highly skilled, extremely personable, attentive, and detail oriented. Super efficient, clean and professional

They cut a tree down not to the trunk but anyways I was not home at the time but when I went in the backyard I couldn t tell that anyone had been in the backyard everything was clean no debris. I would highly recommend them and will be calling them soon to cut down another tree.

Joshua Tree was actually cheaper and came in with a team of workers who really knew their stuff. Work done efficiently -- cleaned up the entire area and did a bit of extra branch grinding for us. The service Joshua Tree has provided in my sorely diseased and declining trees has been outstanding. I was afraid I would lose the three well established, 30-plus years old ornamental pear trees in my front yard. They had been declining for several years and I needed help fast to save them. I contacted Joshua Tree Services after reviewing their entries from customers on Angi. They also listed on their web site that they did disease treatment and not just trimming and removal. This was my goal, to save the trees, not cut them down. They were very prompt in coming to do the assessment, gave me a very reasonable cost estimate for treatment and necessary trimming needed to remove dead branches. They were able to the first of three treatments with two weeks of the initial estimate visit. They were delayed in doing the actual extensive trimming needed as their schedule was already full with storm damage appointment already arranged with other customers. When they were able to do the trimming they brought a bucket truck( these were not little trees) and a whole crew. They were very efficient, very neat with no lawn disturbances, no disruption to my very interested neighbors, and were finished in a very short time, despite it being a 90 plus degree day. I was prepared for a drastic alteration in my tree s appearance but they were very precise in saving branches that looked lost, and the treatments for diseases really saved the leaves and kept the trees from looking too devastated. I have recommended Joshua Tree Services to my neighbors (many of whom watched the tree trimming show) and other friends. I will utilize their services repeatedly in the future to maintain the health and beauty of all my trees.

There were quite a bit of weed grass on the border of my lawn as I missed the first two treatments. I notice the weed grass dying the day after the treatment. I believe the liquid treatment by Joshua Tree is quite effective.

I am currently watching this company take down a pretty massive tree that has to navigate around a trailer and ABOVE the trailer. They are doing one hell of a job and coming no where close to possibly damaging a trailer using the crane. Even better they are IMMEDIATELY cleaning any and all debris being left behind. I personally didnt call for the service but i wanted to watch to see how they would navigate this trailer. So far they are doing absolutely fantastic.

After many years of treating my lawn myself I signed up with Joshua. My friend has Joshua and his lawn looks great. He highly recommended Joshua. I have had one treatment so far and I realize it will take time for our lawn improve but I think it already looks better. I am anxious to see how it looks after a few more months.

Our tree was crushed by the snow over the winter and we needed to know if we could save it. Andrew wasnt sure if it would live but gave us a strange solution. We drilled holes in the tree and bolted it back together in order to support it better and then treated it with fertilizer to help it recover. It seems no matter what happens, this tree just thrives. We will definitely have Joshua Tree back to prune the rest of our trees. They really know their trees.

Joshua Tree recently removed 9 overgrown Leland Cypress trees between my neighbors house and mine, with stump grinding after. Couldnt be happier with all of the work they did. The pricing is excellent, I couldnt believe what a deal I was getting. I didnt know they also provide lawn service. Im so happy with their tree service that I think Ill ditch my current national lawn care provider and switch to Joshua Tree.

I had a tree cut down in front of my house a couple weeks ago. They cleaned up any broken branches and twigs that fell. A week later, they came back to grind the stump down. Very nice job, highly recommend.

JTE did a great job trimming and thinning our birch and maple trees. The sales person, Steve, was very knowledgeable and easy to work with. The crew that came to our yard (Sam and team) were also very professional and efficient. They did a wonderful job and cleaned the yard thoroughly after they were done. I used them to remove multiple trees in my yard along with the stump grinding that would have been an issue for my new inground pool. They worked around the pool installer and landscapers schudele even going as far as getting us on the schudele the day before the landscapers laid down the sod. Had a large tree that developed a lean (was no longer standing straight upright) after the last snowstorm due to the weight of snow on the branches and wet grounds. Was close to the house, and wanted it taken down before it fell on its own. The tree was cut down quickly and professionally, and all debris was completely cleaned up. Service seemed good; however, during our last service the technician texted me when she was finished. I apologized that I forgot to unlock the gate and she said she was still able to perform the full service, including the backyard. I checked the camera and only saw her do the front and side of house. The management sided with her, and said she did our full service. I m wondering how many other times i was charged for less than a full service.

Joshua tree is the best! We had a large spruce tree that we needed completely removed with stump and root grinding along with a gigantic arborvitae that needed major trimming for our fence project. From start to finish, they were so professional and we were amazed how efficient and clean of a job they did! They didnt even leave one scrap behind - youd never even know we had a tree removed they left the site so clean and perfect. Their pricing is also extremely fair. Joshua Tree dropped four trees for us. Each tree was over, chicken pens, wood sheds, wires and pole barns and had to be felled in sections from top to bottom. They were all taken down without incident. They brought in plenty of equipment to do the job efficiently and safely. The entire crew was professional and courteous.

A Joshua Tree technician came to treat my trees in our backyard. He neglected to close the gate while he was working and the wind caught it and broke our gate. He immediately notified me and his supervisor Austin Ryan. Mr. Ryan stopped by that same afternoon and told me that they would fix my gate. He contacted Elite Fencing Concepts and Jeremy Duld the owner assured me that my gate would be replaced. Both companies worked together and completely replaced the whole gate, as well as, added a stopper to prevent swing gates from opening or closing too far and breaking the lock again.I would highly recommend both of these companies. The folks at Joshua Tree have been extremely helpful in taking care of our trees. Would highly recommend them! An update to my first review. Joshua Tree recently pruned a number of large trees on our property. The folks with their equipment arrived about 9:00 a.m. After checking in with us, they immediately got to work. After a short while, it was immediately clear that the crew new exactly what they were doing. They worked as a seasoned team, and within an hour and a half, had pruned five large trees, gathered the branches, and put them in their large chipper. They also asked me to do a walk-a-round before they left to ensure that everything was as promised. It was and the trees looked great! Again, I definitely would recommend them for tree trimming and pruning.

I been using Joshua Tree for awhile for the lawn and trees that needed to removed along with the stumps. I do recommend them!!

I have a unique lawn, lots of micro-climates as they described. Front lawn was always riddled with weeds while side yards were often fine but also shaded by trees. I do have lawn irrigation to help with watering, but their lawn program has done wonders. No weeds, thicker lawn all around... just great.

I have used Joshua Tree lawn service for the last 3 years. I have multiple bare spots and weeds. The salesperson talked me into getting the Aeration and seeding (which I did 2 years ago) promising me great results. I was extremely open and honest with him about the lack of sun I get in one area of my property- the part that I was most interested in having the seeding done. Again I was promised great results. When the service was performed, I came home to find that the area I was most concerned with was not able to be aerated. When I called about this, asking for a refund for the part of the yard that was not completed, I was told the price would not change. High pressure sales with minimal results.

These folks are the very best. They gave professional, courteous service from first call until the last tree branch was hauled away. My property was left neat and clean. Great job Joshua Tree, Ill be calling again soon. As far as Im concerned you folks set the industry standard for outstanding service at a fair price.

The crew who came to remove our tree was awesome. They were professional and cleaned up as they went. We had no idea what to expect, but we were very impressed. Upon them leaving, you would have never known they were here. My one disappointment is that the stump still remains. After a few inquiries, it seems we may have a plan for this to be completed. We asked ourselves why we were spending so much money to have this tree removed. After watching the process it became abundantly clear. It took a village! We also appreciated steps taken to make sure everyone remained safe, ie turning off power to a nearby line. Thank you Joshua tree!

If you have a difficult tree to have removed call on Joshua Tree. I live in downtown Bethlehem and had a giant tree of heaven needing removal. There is no access on the side of the house and my backyard is up against another yard. No worries, Joshua Tree brought in a very experienced crane operator who piece by piece brought the tree out over the house and powerlines without as much as a leaf dropping. Also their crew did an amazing job of clean up. Plus the price was exactly what they estimated 6 months prior. Highly recommend their tree service.

I needed some trees pruned and stumps ground (that were left over from a previous tree service) and I called Joshua Tree. They responded quickly and provided me with a reasonable quote. Two separate crews performed the services and both were very professional. The did the work timely and cleaned up completely. The trees looked great and the yard was spotless. I used Joshua tree service for fall fertilization of a row of arborvitae. I found the staff to be knowledgeable, friendly and responsive. The tree specialist offered additional advice as to watering and what to watch for as the trees mature. Great service!

We had some very mature maple trees that we thought needed trimming. When they came to see the trees, they told us they did not need trimming. They felt they needed some fertilizer because of the thinning branches. We had the trees fertilized at a very reasonable price. I was impressed they did not try to trim the trees which would have been much more expensive and made them more money. I appreciated their honesty.

Joshua Tree did an excellent job removing six smaller evergreen trees in our front yard including grinding the stumps on four and digging two. The price was very reasonable and within estimate, cleanup was thorough and the work was completed two months before the original projected time. STAY AS FAR AWAY FROM THESE PEOPLE AS POSSIBLE !! I hired them appr.8 months ago to service my lawn. All these techs want to do is get in & out ASAP. they spend appr. 8 minutes spreading fertilizer ( which didnt help at all ). They do not want to answer questions , they are not courteous , they do not want to explain what they are doing for your lawn. The manager , Matt is not professional at all. I tried to speak with him about issues to no avail. It was a complete nightmare. They will promise you the moon. But when it comes to deliver , they are nowhere to be found There are many other lawn care services out there. I will be looking for someone else soon. Someone who delivers on their word , someone who will take the time to answer my questions , someone who will go above & beyond to meet your expectations. I would definitely encourage anyone who is looking for a lawn care company to stay away from these unprofessional techs & manager.

Disrespectful to the local community. Two employees urinated on the street which flowed onto my property. I have the videos which the Allentown Police Department verified as valid and contacted the business to pursue complaint.

Joshua Tree Experts is an outstanding company if you have the need to trim your trees and shrubs which also would include cutting down diseased trees. They work hard as a team to accomplish this. All of the cuttings are cleaned up and your yard looks like nothing was done.

Is this the same company with all these great reviews?? I feel like I live in the twilight zone. Either this company pays for good reviews or they deteriorated rather quickly. We hired Joshua Tree to cut down 3 trees and grind the stump from the largest tree. They came out and did the tree removal and left the stump and disappeared without calling or updating us. My husband called to find out when they would grind the stump, the woman told him it would take weeks before someone would be in the area. He never received a call back, so we assumed they would never be out and we would need to hire another company to finish the work. Easter weekend a worker finally shows up unannounced to grind the stump and argues with my husband over cleanup of it. Telling him his work order stated it was our responsibility to clean it up because that s much more work than the work order said it would be. At this point we gave up and told him to leave. I would find another company for your needs, unless you like the headache of dealing with a company with zero work ethic, customer service and communication.

Though we still havent used their services (scheduled for the fall) the owner of Joshua Tree called me to apologize & to explain why I was not called back. I am looking forward to their expertise with our yard in the fall.

When calling to get services started, staff was responsive and helpful with getting a quote. Communication was great with the office about who was coming out to service our lawn and they were out within 10-15 days of my original call. Service was fast and there is already a noticeable difference on our lawn.

Answered phone call first time I call, answered all my questions so I could understand there services, price quotes, and the have a payment plan , informed of day coming out ,and if they had to reschedule.

Joshua Tree Experts treated my yard last week. Their Worker mixed chemicals too strong and did this to my yard. Yard was green all summer since I water every other day. Multiple neighbors have same situation since all of our yards were treated same day. Called Joshua Tree and had a supervisor show up. Said they won t do anything. Company does not stand behind their work, would not recommend using this service.

Disclaimer. I know and am a friend of an employee. BUT I am also a Director of a business and we used Joshua Tree and I couldnt be happier. They provided a price that was significantly better than other companies. The job location was difficult. And the tree was over hanging my hotel. Matt Klembara and the team expertly removed the threat and the cleanup was amazing. Very fast from start to finish. Absolutely would recommend their services! We own 15 hotels in the lehigh valley and would use Joshua Tree over all others.

I used JTE for wasp nest removal. I tried spraying with storebought insecticides, but the wasps kept coming back. Called JTE, they quickly came out and treated the area, and I never saw another wasp. Great service all around.

(Review #2) Live in a woods. 8 giant dead ash trees leaning towards the house. Joshua Tree Crew like surgeons dropped all 8 dead trees without harming live good trees. Above & Beyond workmanship. had to dismantle my chain link fence to get a Lift thru... the crew helped restore the fence when job was finished. Cleanup of all the debris even blew the leaves off my sidewalks and deck. Crew did so much more than expected. Good Help is hard to find, but Joshua Tree has GREAT HELP! (Review #1) My house would qualify as a DIFFICULT job. Giant thick tree branches overhanging a glass roof sunroom. and also a large tree leaning and in danger of falling onto the house. Joshua Tree (with crane) made short work of the job. They made an impossible job look easy.

Oak tree had afids and the two tree treatments have helped the tree.

I had two Ash Trees removed because the Emerald Ash Borer had taken its tole. They had to be removed using a truck with a high bucket. I was impressed how expertly the guy maneuvered the bucket, dropping all the branches and trunk pieces in one drop zone. Never touching other structures. I would highly recommend Joshua Tree for any services they provide.

Joshua tree trimmed my maple tree that was damaged by wind. They also removed another tree and did all work including cleanup to my satisfaction. Price was less than other estimates. I recommend them for tree trimming or removal.

We have an acre of property that has always been riddled with weeds crab grass even poison ivy. Ive tried to put down product myself but my lawn never ever looked nice. We cut it low and often to hide the problems. After only 2 years with Joshua Tree I cant believe the difference. I never thought we would have a lawn we could be proud if. These guys are great. Cant say enough about their knowledge and experience. Give them a try and get a lime treatment because that really changed my lawn

Joshua Tree has performed tree trimming the in past and most recently pest treatment for a Holly busing infested with something killing it (they told me what but I forgot). From estimate to job completion they are kind, professional and most importantly they do a superior job. So you may get the same service cheaper - you will get what you pay for. I used a cheaper company once and due to poor trimming the tree needs to be removed.

We had contracted for Joshua Tree to trim up some trees. It took a little longer than promised to get out there but they did an excellent job with the trees and cleaned everything up as promised. I would definitely recommend them.

We have had our evergreens treated for bagworms for the past 2 summers and couldn t be happier with Joshua Tree. Their technicians are knowledgeable and very respectful of our property, but best of all-no more bagworms!!! Our trees haven t looked this healthy in years!

I highly recommend Joshua Tree for your pest control and lawn care services. We have an in ground pool in our backyard and every summer we were always bombarded with mosquitoes that were not easily remedied by traditional methods. So far this summer, we have only observed a few. As for the lawn care services, I am greatly pleased by the treatments. I have always had a problem with broadleaf (clover and dandelions) and spurge due to my neighbors lawn. A day after the first treatment (which was after emergence), I saw the clover and dandelions dying. It was amazing! I have only had a few issues recently on the edge of the sidewalk of reemergence of clover and spurge (between treatments) due to this recent weather. In conclusion, I am extremely satisfied with the results in both cases and would highly recommend their services.

Ive recently moved to the suburbs of Bethlehem after 17+ in the city of Philly. Lawn life is new to me. During my daily dog walks I found myself admiring the nice lawns in the new neighborhood, and became determined to learn how to get my yard to look the same! I decided to go the route of a local, eco-conscious professional service vs a DIY approach. One of the main factors that influenced my decision was the opportunity to LEARN from a professional about this newly adopted home owner responsibility that I inherited. Joshua Tree assigned Philip as my lawn caretaker. Lucky me! He was incredibly friendly, insightful and honest. Not only did he take the time to explain to me more about the treatment schedule that I will be on, but even took plenty of time walking me through my yard to point out and educate me on the different types of weeds - what theyre called, their levels of aggressiveness, how they start, and how we get rid of them. Along with that he gave me really helpful tips on mowing my lawn, sharpening my lawn mower blade and the long-term risks of manually watering your lawn. Im only one single treatment in with Joshua Tree and Philip, but the experience so far has been top notch. I look forward to partnering with and learning from them on my journey to a lush green fantasy lawn.

We had 4 large spruce trees in our yard next to a fence and power lines. They came in, took down the trees and cleaned up the limbs from the trees. They also did some maintenance cleaning on an oak tree in our yard. Comment from a neighbor was - wow they really cleaned up nicely when they were done. I agree with the comment from my neighbor.

My yard was in bad shape and Joshua started to fertilize and the yard is coming along very nice. When they say that they are coming to do a job they do. I requested a visit to our property to check the health of several trees. We were able to have dead areas trimmed off several large privacy trees. They inspected all the shrubs and suggested things to try to improve overall growth. One tree we knew was old which needed to be removed . They cut the tree down and removed the stump. Very quickly. Cleaned everything up. Very happy with the job.

Joshua tree is phenomenal! They came to aerate and overseed my lawn and did an amazing job, but we had some adverse weather that caused damage to the job they just did. I gave them a call and the came back out and fixed those areas within a few days and were extremely kind. I had a previous company that only spent about 10 minutes at my house. I had more weeds then when I took care of it myself. They came in and the weeds were dying off next day. When they aerated and over seeded my lawn never looked so good. They cost is about the same as me buying the fertilizer and weed control and doing it myself. Im very pleased and wont go back.

The amount of trimming for my trees took less than a1/2 hour so I found $400 plus bill was much too high as all work was done from the ground.
