TruGreen Lawn Care in Stockbridge

Ive been using TrueGreen for a long time and I always had a suspicion that they show up just to drop the receipt and never complete the application. Well on Jul 11 the Technician shows up and he starts spraying for weeds, very few weeds I might add. I then ask him if thats all hes doing and he told me yes that he was only there for weed control, I found that odd as weed control is normally applied in conjunction with the application. So he hands me the receipt and the receipt clearly states that fertilizer was applied along with weed control. So I question him about it and he tells me that the system got the receipt all wrong. So he proceeds to call his manager, them comes back to me and tells me that they will fix the receipt to reflect only weed control and that I would not have to pay for a service application. While he was on the phone inside his truck, I checked my TrueGreen app and had a bill for a normal application. Honesty goes a long way, trying to dupe a customer into believing that an application was completed and then charging them for it, knowing full well nothing was done, is outright wrong and borders criminality. Ive since contacted the company and called their CS rep, and was told that someone would be contacting me within 24 hours. The charge is still pending on my account I might add which I dont mind paying if they come back and apply the application. Again, Ive been a customer for a long time and left them once before because of poor service and went with Chemlawn, but they purchased Chemlawn so Ive been back with them ever since. Once upon a time dye was used to ensure applications were being done, but that was stopped. They need to start that back up to ensure customers are not being duped. I now will monitor each and every application made on my lawn going forward as Ive lost confidence in their checks and balances to ensure customers are being provided the service they pay for. Earning my trust is one thing but keeping it after something like this, very difficult to do.

The Technician arrived, and my husband was able to discuss his process of Fertilizer, Weed, and Fungus Control on our lawn. He advised that it was not necessary to water the lawn because all of thw rain we had recently gotten. Lawrence was thural and professional as he processes. He did cover the extreme areas of weed and told my husband how long it would be before he would possibly see some results. He addressed all of the questions asked, and it was a pleasure experience. I signed up for tru green and they were just absolutely awful they took a week to come also there guy for the mosquito application came at 8:12am today he left at 8:20am today. First thing was he never completed the assignment left and did not touch my back yard Next they send a lawn and fertilizer guy out here to spray (I SIGNED UP FOR DIRE ANTS ONLY) he made me aware that it would not treat for fire ants and said they had a entire different program for that my wife called they hung up on here so I had to call back and then we finally got a manager on the line and he told us the truth that they always sign people up for that fertilizer program and say it will cover everything and it does but cover (FIRE ANTS) these people will lie to take your money ohh guess what we we still Charged for the application that never happened and was not finished (mosquito application) go to another place we are going to breeda

My grass never did green up. Even after I canceled the service, they kept coming and kept charging me and would not take the charges off. I spoke with customer service and asked for management to return call and they never did horrible experience.

Our yard looks healthy! It s easier to maintain the yard with their service. They have provided instant day of service information. This included professional feed back of where the health of the yard is currently. Their services have been with us for over 12 years.

The absolute worst service. Killed my grass. And all that was offered was a one time free service. After all my complaints, a manager came out to check my damaged grass. They said someone with experience will come out and start treatment. Couple of days later the same guy shows up and ask me what needed to be done. I sent him away and canceled the services. Keep all you receipts because this company will lie about their services performed. My Ring doorbell caught it all.

I am so upset that I wish I could rate them 0. Ive been scheduled for a reapplication because the technician that arrive the 1st time was not truthful. I specifically waited at home for the reapplication to find out at 5:05 p.m. that my service is reschedule due to personal problem. What!? Not to mention, I called them 2 previous times. The first time I was told he would arrive between 12 and 5. The second time I was told he was enroute. I will definitely be cancelling. Stay clear of this company. You have been warned.

Tremayne was the service person and he did an excellent job on being precise with my application. I recommend true green for the great service I received.

First visit was exceptional. Technician Larry was very professional and knowledgeable. I actually watched him work. He has a very good work ethic. He made sure all areas were covered. So far, I have no complaints. Nice job! Technician DeAngelo is also very thorough. This is the second or third time he has serviced my lawn. He always tells what he is applying and explains what happens next. Im very pleased so far. I should be posting a picture with a weed-free lawn soon.

This was our service with TruGreen. So, it is too soon to know how well it works. However, I used them because my neighbor uses them and I could see a difference in her grass within two weeks. So far, communication has been phenomenal. Also, the sales representative that called me after I visited their website is the main reason I decided to use TruGreen. I am pleased with the service Trugreen has provided, so far. I have lived in my house for a couple of years now and the lawn is looking very healthy, thanks to Trugreen. There was an issue where I was billed for aeration that wasnt performed, but they corrected the issue very quickly by sending someone out to complete the service. The tech did a great job walking my large yard with the spreader; however, I am concerned that one spreader full of product will not be surficed enough to fully cover my yard. I watched from my camera and only one spreader full was dispersed. My concern is the spreader became empty and the tech just kept walking without refiling. This is a concern.

Have had poor experience with trugreen so far with our new house lawn. First their specialists keep going to wrong address to put down materials for non customer lawn. I have notes on my acct of description of my house and how to find it. Second, the last specialist was supposed to put down lime soil amendment. He left note on my door that he put another granular fertilizer 33-0-6 which has already been put down by truegreen 10 days before. Now I worry that these guys will burn my new lawn. Called them, even went to their local office. They said someone will call me. But no one has called yet to help me confirm it was lime soil ammendment that the last specialist put down instead. Im at the point of canceling this service. This is something I can do myself but Ive just been busy with work and other stuff. My experience has been poor with this company so far.

Doesn t work Not at all. I canceled (in a lengthy phone call) and they still charged 100$ the next month. Multiple support until an Angel from earth Shelisa helped me out. Explained what happened. And did what she had to do to support where her fellows lacked.

At the beginning of the spring summer of this year I was having a serious weeds problem. I contacted TruGreen to come out and treat it. It took several times to get it under control and they didnt give up until I was totally satisfied. So it was very easy to be a customer because of their amazing customer service and knowledgeable technicians.

TruGreen Lawn came out two years ago and treated my yard. Grass came in every place except where it was really bare like red clay dirt in front yard. They came back aerated it again to no avail. I canceled. I did it again after paving a driveway in worst area and several areas were untreated again. TruGreen came to redo yard but still left left side and far backyard undone.

He said Pre Emergent I asked him can he put down an application of weed control and he obliged to me request. He said I should see results in 14 days. I pray the application provides some results.

Called to speak with management concerning the way my service was performed two weeks ago. Technician came back and performed a second better service to lawn for free due to poor quality two weeks ago. I explained to manager that I know that it s warm days that we have had but my wife and I expect quality service for the money that we pay.

Driver arrives to treat an acre of land: 1st driver completed in 10 minutes never went to the back yard 9/27/23. 2nd driver arrived 9/29/23 at 08:34, left property at 08:38 reporting he serviced the entire property. Ive asked for a manager, the agent cant get them on the phone. Now scheduled for 10/2/2023. Very poor service, taking customers money and doing absolutely nothing.

Their service is good and they provide warranty of service, i.e. they will come back and redo spot applications to control weeds. I have been customer for a month. I am satisfied with their service. The personnel who handled the application was helpful and knowledgable. He answered my questions kindly and provided instructions on what I should expect from the application. Professional and courteous. Furthermore, TrueGreen has a customer portal that shows the applications and dates and details of each service. They are up to date on digital transformation and technology. I have called customer service two times to get details about what I should do after application of weed control. They have a nice customer support. Very helpful. The second time I called because there were some spots with crab weed that needed a second application after 14 days. The customer support scheduled an application for the same week. They tailor weed control specific to my lawn. I strongly recommend their service for weed control. It helps to be on top of lawn care and not to worry about weeds. Because weeds make mowing harder, I suggest if you have not used their service yet, try it. You could cancel if you are not satisfied.

Despite having a TERRIBLE season last year I decided to give them another chance this year. So I called and asked for a more knowledgeable tech that could tell me what I need to be doing on my end to maximize the results of my services. Called a Tuesday and they said someone would contact me with a day and time. Wellllll no contact was made just got a text message saying they were at my property?!?!? I raced home to meet a gentleman named LARRY. If everyone at this company was as knowledgeable and customer service oriented as Larry they would be ok. But Larry seemed to know what he was talking about and gave me a game plan to repair my grass

I was with them for 2 years enjoyed the results when they actually showed up and completed the treatment. I caught them 2 times on my camera not doing anything. Was quoted one price but charged another. Too many inconsistencies for just lawn care.

Please spare yourself aggravation these people are horrible. Lie about service didnt do. The Branch Mznager is corrupt took my money for damage they owed me on thing broke in my back yard and took that money and kept it on my account. Now my bill is separate from damage costs. Never refused to pay any bill which still do not owe them for a redo only. They came out three times and still didnt get it right. They continue to call me and harass me despite them canceling my service to prevent me from getting my money back or fixing da.age to my window.. These are the worst people you could deal with

Five years of weed control, five applications during the calendar year. Some services were good, others not so good.

This is one of the worst company ever. We have been paying them for sometime and our grass look like you know what. We keep calling the McDonough branch location but can never get anyone on the phone. We always get someone from another state. They sent our a quality control technician to our house and he said our grass looks awful. He texted the manager and the manager was suppose to called in 30 min but never did. I also escalated this multiple times and no response. I am currently looking for another company. Please stay from this horrible company if you dont want to waste money. Update the manager came to the house and inform us that the technician was not using the correct product with the type of weed we have. The manager advise us that he was sending another technician out on 8/4. To my surprise no one showed up. We even called the number that manager gave us and no response. I called True green McDonough location and of course I got someone in another state. The only thing they said was we can get that reschedule. The audacity andnerve that they have.Please take your money to another company. This company do not care about the homeowners property at all. They really about taking the money and not producing the outcome.

Ive been a trugreen customer since the early 90s but lately the service quality has diminished greatly. I canceled my services due to managers not responding for me possibly reinstating my servicea. The company was attempting to service my lawn even after cancellations without my approval. Also, I spent about $3K on landscaping with new sod and within a week the tech icons came out to fertilize my lawn. Luckily I was home whe. rhey came out to stop them. The techs couldnt even tell that i had new zoysia sod installed. Had I not been home, the techs wouldve serviced my lawn which would have killed my new grass. This is the main reason I cancel the trees and shrubs and lawn services.

My yard was all weeds now its all grass.

Okay, I am a new homeowner I contacted TruGreen for assistance with lawn care and mosquito treatment. On 8/26 a worker came out and sprayed my lawn for fertilizer & weed treatment. Initially, I received a discounted price as an incentive. After the service was completed. I was not charged for the service I received I was charged for mosquito treatment. Immediately, I contacted trugreen to find out what the issue was. They had no idea as per them how this happened as a solution they refunded the charge which takes ten business days. In addition, they suggested a complimentary mosquito treatment in the future. They also remove my card on file so this never happens again. So in short never give them your card information. Today, 8/31 I received a message someone would be out to treat for lime. I received a text message that they arrived onsite at 1:13pm and they left at 1:20pm there is no way you can gather your supplies and treat my lawn in seven minutes. To add insult to injury, I was told this was an additional charge although I was originally quoted to receive fertilizer, weed and lime treatment as a package. None of the employees can answer what exactly my package is or my charges. I asked to speak to a manager you have to wait 24 plus hours to be contacted. In my opinion this process has been the worst experience of my life. I would rather pay three times the amount in exchange for integrity, proper application, seasoned customer service reps, access to help for supervision when things go wrong and most important peace making this business relationship easygoing. If I were you find another company that is not so commercial maybe they will be able to assist you with no issues. So many hands are in the deal makes things complicated. Good luck.

I have seen the improvement of my grass this season, the reduction of weeds, and the reduction of bugs around the trees and bushes in both my front and back yards!

I used Tru Green for 4 months. In that 4 months they serviced my property 5 times or said they did. One time they double charged me. The next time they over charged me for a aeration and didnt overseed like they were supposed to. The next time the motor on the truck would not crank so no weed control. the last service no one ever showed up or set foot on my property and they said they did and they charged me for it. Needless to say I fired Tru Green, I would not recomend for anyone to use this company.

This used to be a decent service, but now the workers who come out are on a time schedule so theyre not consistent or effective. Im personally disappointed.

We ve had some problems in the past and I think we are on the same page now with my expectations.
