Clean Cut Lawn & Lot Maintenance in Stittsville

Thank you Clean Cut for the awesome precise workmanship in our back yard - we are thrilled. A great crew included Russ, Scott, Jay, Curtis, Ryan, Damien and others. They communicated their daily plan well and were easy to have in our yard. Would recommend them unconditionally.

Be careful with these guys, I used their storage for my trailer and they were great until something happened. During the winter storage my trailer got hit with a piece of heavy equipment and they were willing to do nothing. Could I prove it was them , no, but they and people they approve were only ones going in and out of lot during the winter months. Because of this I would be weary to use them for anything, a company that provides services are only as good as their willingness to make things right when they go wrong. In response to the owners comments below, The lawn care company, although a separate corporation is run by the same people and operate out of the same location. So i find it funny that the response from the owner stated they are not involved in storage, before you hire them drive by their location and look at the trailers parked along the edge of their property, that will tell you the type of people you are about to hire.

Highly Recommended. We started working with Russ and his team at Clean Cut Ottawa in 2021 for the first phase of our extensive landscape project and finished the work in 2022. This involved new garden beds, a stone pad over a slope for a shed, a large patio, privacy panel, new walkways, raised stone plant beds, improved runoff solutions for rain water and the installation of cedar hedges. All of this work included the supply and installation of top quality materials. Russ was detailed in his quotes for all phases of the work and completed everything as planned. He improved on our landscape plan with a few suggested changes that were appreciated and fully approved before initiated. Every one of the Clean Cut team was always professional, hard working, friendly and took the time to clean up the site at the end of every day. The project sometimes had as many as 7-8 workers and each put in a full work day. If Russ was not onsite every day, he was always available by phone to answer any questions we might have. We would not hesitate to recommend Russ and his team for any landscape or hardscape projects where you want a very competitive quote, attention to detail, professional workers and results on-time and on-budget. It's hard to overstate what a great experience it's been working with Russ and the Clean Cut crew. Hard to summarize too, so I'll keep it brief. They did frontyard stone and garden work four years ago (medium-sized), and full backyard stone and landscaping work around the pool this year (large-sized). Russ and his team are first-rate. Every person on the crew is polite, friendly, and seems genuinely happy to be working here. They are courteous, clean up really well at the end of each day, and work hard. Communication is always great - there are no surprises. Russ makes sure I know what is happening and when, and I'm never left wondering. Work is billed as per quote, with clear discussion on anything we've decided on during the job that's extra. Lots of good discussions while the project is ongoing - the on-the-ground reality is often different than a design on paper. Russ (or his senior people on site) always have good ideas and proposals for how to handle a specific item (which I almost always agreed with), and when I wanted something different, it was always "no problem, consider it done". Excellent judgment. I'm burying the lede here, but the end product (in both jobs) has been spectacular. A+ work, would definitely hire them again.

Clean Cut did a fantastic job on the design and construction of our patio surrounding our sunroom! They were professional, their workmanship was excellent and the project was completed on time. We were very pleased and would highly recommend them.

It was a pleasure dealing with Tom and Jay. We had the team install a platform for our hot tub. Clean Cut Lawn is a very professional organization who cares about their customers and their communication is superlative. Clean Cut came a couple of years ago and re-did our front entrance way and fixed and re-designed the old patio out back. We were very happy with the work...not perfect, but really good, and great guys...friendly, competent and professional. Only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is we had 3 large feature stones incorporated into the backyard design, and they've been spalling quite badly. I contacted Tom this summer and was told they'd come and take a look. Then nothing, and email has not been returned. I realize it's still busy season, but at least some communication would have been appreciated.
