Art at Stillwater Turf and Power did an absolutely fantastic job fixing the electrical on my 5x8 Teske trailer. Like many of us, we can't be experts in everything. I had an issue with my chainsaw. Watched some YouTube... Read the Owner's Manual cover to cover.... still couldn't figure out what I was doing wrong. I brought it in to Art who fixed the problem in less than 5 minutes, but better yet, he TOOK THE TIME with me to explain the issue, how to correct it in the future, and what else to look for so that I don't accidentally make the problem worse. I feel lucky to have found a guy with so much integrity. Based on this experience alone, I will be bringing all of my "small engine" needs to him in the future.
My first time here - I've been having things fixed around the area for the past 35 years - this is by far the best experience I've had. He did a great job on my snowblower and explained the fixes in detail including showing the broken parts. It was a quicker than expected turnaround, reasonable price, plus lots of good maintenance tip info.
My snowblower wouldn’t start. I took it in a day after we got dumped on expecting a repair to take a week. He had it done in less than a day. Very reasonable priced and gave me a bunch of maintenance tips to save me money and preventing me having to bring it back. I will be taking all my small engine repairs here for a while!
I want to thank Art and his staff for helping me solve several small engine problems over the past years. I have found Art willing to help me with the basic questions and even be ready to come out and help me get a gas motor going in cold weather, which was integral to running my farm. Art is the man! I had a 2002 Murray that was running horribly and was hardly usable. Within only a couple days Art had the machine diagnosed (garbage carbs), parts ordered, and fully repaired/running great. Cant Recommend Stillwater Turf and Power enough.

Went to this company to repair my Honda mower for the first time and was so impressed with them. I will be taking all my business to them from now on. Very reasonable on pricing and great turnaround. Wish I found these guys earlier!
I just picked up my 20+ year old Toro snowblower from Stillwater Turf and Power. Art finished the repair ahead of schedule and under budget. But, I got ahead of myself there. I had (what I thought was) a small oil leak in the transmission. I also asked Art to go through the carburetor because I am not as good as I should be on annual maintenance and storage tasks. Art clearly explained the charge just to check things out and the timeline. He called me short time later with an initial diagnosis and a price for the repair. The price of the repair was right at the edge of considering a new blower. I have had very good luck with this snowblower so I asked him to go ahead with the repairs. BTW....Art is very respectful and clear in his communications. He answered all my questions in terms I could understand and he always made me feel like I was in control. He also gave me a timeline on the repairs. Well, Art called me back WAY ahead of schedule and said he had done some more research about the transmission leak and he thinks the problem was elsewhere. To shorten this up a bit I was able to pick up my snowblower after only a few days and at a much lower price than what I was expecting to pay. Art also took the time to educate me on how to properly store the snowblower. I just cant say enough how impressed I was with his work, his attitude, work ethic and professionalism. As long as Art is there, I will go nowhere else.

Got back last night from work and wanted to blow the snow with my Toro . I have had it for about 21 years and never let me down. Engine starter pull rope broke after about two attempts to get ot going. Worked all morning long to just get the rope end thru the plastic circle / hole inside the chain. Couldnt. Called Dawn at Turf and grass. She was cool about me daring to show Art my problem. This gentleman is talented, skilled, open to sharing ideas and troubles. He suffers with you, he understands the human condition and will fill in any holes in your knowledge about Toro snowblowers. And not only. Kind and knowledgeable. Thank u, Otilia Kloos

Very reliable family owned and operated shop to have your Lawn Mower, Snow-Blower, Weed-Whip, Chain-Saw, or any other small-engine repaired, tuned up, or.... replaced..... case in point; Brought in my old Mac chain saw to have repaired to start and ended up leaving with a new, quiet, electric chain saw..... I m not a tree-hugger, (after all I bought a chain-saw) Never thought I d go cordless-electric, but what they carry is very heavy-duty. Also purchased a leaf blower and line trimmer, all lithium-ion electric.
I want to commend Stillwater Turf & Power. During our recent big snow storm. Of course, my snowblower picked that time to die, the auger would not work. I called ST&P and they thought they could get to it after the weekend, and that was fine. I did not expect it quickly during a storm. I received a call a little later where the owner said he was delivering a machine in my area and he could pick it up. We both thought it was a belt and we were correct. He returned it the same day. I was amazed. What great customer service. I was happy with the price, also.

This place is great. They always explain The work that needs to be done and give you options and prices. They always do great work and also stand behind their work. We had something go wrong after we received our riding mower back and they picked it up, repaired it and returned it the very next day at no cost. Highly recommended.

AWESOME CUSTOMER SERVICE AND TRUSTWORTHY! When I called in late-September to have my snowblower worked on (it was running very rough), Art encouraged me to wait and then even explained, mechanically, why. Appreciated that. When I dropped the snowblower off in November, both he and his wife showed me a few simple things about snowblowers TO HELP ENSURE I DIDN T HAVE THE PROBLEM AGAIN. Who does that!? I took snowblower in a day before a snowstorm. I tried to get the snowblower into a place by my house but the soonest the other companies would be able to finish it was 3 to 6 weeks. I took it to Stillwater Turf and Power which is about 25 minutes from my house. They were extremely nice on the phone and in-person. They said they would try to get it in this afternoon if I brought it in right away, which I did. She did tell me that it could take a week if parts needed to be ordered but will try to look at it in the afternoon. I received a call the next morning saying the snowblower was complete. When I got there, the gentleman told me that they worked on the snowblowers all evening to get them done for today. They put in the extra time to get mine and other customers their snowblowers fixed in time for the snow. That was very thoughtful of them and will definitely continue going there. Art is old school helpful. He taught me what I was doing wrong rebuilding my carburetor for a small engine then sold me the parts for a whopping $16.00. I will only be bringing my work here. Highly recommend!
I stopped in to Stillwater Turf and Power today for the first time because the pull cord on my Stikemaster ice auger was not recoiling. Arts customer service was fantastic. If I could rate a zero I would. I brought my mower here for a tune up and belt replacement and they charged me twice as much as I was told over the phone. I mowed with it twice and the electric clutch wire connector broke because it was rubbing on the belt they had replaced. My mower blades wont engage because of the broken wire. I called to discuss this and possibly look up part and price for me, and they said it wasnt there problem became very agitated and hung up the phone on me. Ill fix it but please, Do yourself a favor and never do business here.

I just went to Stillwater Turf and Power for the first time with a real old power chipper that was not running. Art diagnosed the problem before I left (carburetor and fuel supply) and called me at the end of the day to say it is ready to be picked up. I now runs great. This guy has unbelievable service in todays market. I highly recommended taking your power equipment to Stillwater Turf and Power.
