Junker & Son's Landscaping in Stillwater

We hired Junker & Sons July 3rd 2024 to repair paver steps going down the back of the house. He told us he's not going to be able to start until Sept 7th and needed half down to commit to the job. Paid him $2,675. We canceled a trip because we wanted to get this job done. He suggested using stone edgers on the side of steps for support, which we were told we had to order & pay for ahead of sched start date. I talked to Steve the week before starting the project. He told me to get the pallet of edgers delivered that cost us $235 for delivery fee. The day of the job Junker never showed, called or text us. He did this to us 4 times. He was not out anything for the job. We had to send the stone edgers back for another fee. We had a very hard time getting our money back from Junker because he doesnt respond & usually his mail box is full. We ended up filing for conciliation court and also put in a complaint with the Washington Cty Sheriff to get our money back. We were not the only court case filed against him. He finally pd us, but we are still out money for court costs and delivery fees. ALSO we wasted the entire summer and did not get our project done. Check with the BBB, he has an F rating.

Steve junker &sons did a fantastic job on my retaining wall, despite the hot muggy weather no corners were cut and no shortcuts taken. This landscaping company really knows their Kraft well. I felt after shopping around that junker & sons was by far the best deal out there. There was no standing around, these men came to work and completed this project in two days. I highly recommend junker & sons.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!!! If a 0 star or negative stars were available that is what I would give them! They put in a paver patio and decorative cement block bench, however they did not get a permit as required by the city, nor did they check property lines. We spent $15,000 for a project that needs to be removed and reconfigured. Andy agreed to 'take care of it" last summer 7/23 but has not been back since and refuses to return any phone calls. I have also called Steve and gotten no response. Our only option now is have it removed and reconfigured at our own expense and then proceed with trying to recoup our investment through legal channels. It's amazing to me that they've been in business for as long as they have with the way they treat their customers. I will make it my mission to warn as many people as I can, in every way I can about this company so no one else has to experience this.

I would give them a zero if I could. Junker & son’s landscaping Asked for full payment of services even though the project was incomplete, then refused to come over to finish. I had to take them to conciliation court in order to get my money back. Buyer beware.

Project beautifully done by Steve's crew last week. Very professional, easy to communicate. They went extra miles to ensure complete satisfaction. Affordable yet very good quality. Can't ask for more.

Steve committed to do a small patio project for us. ("We love smaller projects") He gave me a date they would be coming and told me to get all the materials delivered. Never showed up. Haven't heard from him since. Who does that!!

We have an older home; whenever it rained we had streams of water coming in through multiple entry points in our unfinished basement. Of all the landscapers who came out to look at the problem, Junker and Sons had the clearest vision and the easily the best value for the sheer amount of work completed. They regraded around our house, extended the gutters, replaced broken window wells, and installed a swale. They explained the entire process and sought our input. Once they finished, our yard looked significantly better than before (even though our main need was functional). It's been several months since they came out and we have not had any water problems in our basement since, regardless of the amount of rain.

Steve and his crew did an amazing job on our new patio. Hard working crew. I will use them again!
