Ultra Turf Inc. in Sterling

I have used Ultra Turf for multiple homes myself, they currently do my lawn, and I've referred several customers of ours to them with great feedback. Ken and Chuck are rock solid good people and I will never use another landscaper. They did my spring cleanup this year for far less than I expected and exceeded my expectations. They ROCK!

We have used UltraTurf for over 20 yrears in different locations and I only just realized I have been remiss in not providing feedback on the great service over the years provided by owner Chuck Berry and his teams of employees mowing, planting, trimming, seeding grass, planting flowers patio install and just being there when needed. With the pandemic and multiple jobs now available at higher wages, I know its been more difficuly for the number of crews available to work but this year Chuck had his crew come out to service our yard. I hope things settle down because this is a small business that deserves to suceed.

We have used Ultra Turf for a few years now for weekly lawn mowing and have always been happy with the results. The guys are professional, friendly, and always do a great job. Several of our neighbors use them as well.

Been using them for yard mowing for over a year now. Dependable and solid. Like their automatic billing option, also.

I worked with Chuck, one of the owners for renovating the lawn for Fall. Chuck took the time to inspect our lawn and provided his expert recommendations for taking care of the lawn.

We hired Ken, owner of Ultraturf, to design and install landscaping. It was an utter mistake and a complete waste of money. He is very unprofessional, unreliable, has little to no design skill, and absolutely no service after the sale. Bottom line: he did not provide us what we paid for, and refused to work with us to make it right. He dropped off men to do the work and that’s the last we saw of him. We were very displeased and called him to discuss it. It took several phone calls to finally get a return call from him. He refused to return to our home. Literally said it wasn’t worth his time. He refused to do anything and added, “I showed you a beautiful landscape plan for your backyard with a water feature but you didn’t choose to do it. You should have at least signed up for my lawn and landscape maintenance program. But you didn’t do that either.” I was floored that he was more than hinting that our “smaller” job meant we deserved poor quality and service. About 9 months later I called him to report that three of the shrubs he planted were barely alive and we needed to see him about replacements. He didn’t return the call, unsurprisingly. Avoid this company altogether.

We have used Ultra Turf, Inc. for our Spring cleanup/mulching and for weekly mowing for years. They have always done an excellent job for us, and also have been doing the same for several of our neighbors for years as well. That speaks for itself. I recommend them without reservation.

Horrible service and a disorganized company. We fired them after repeatedly having to ask them to be careful of the maple trees in our front yard. Their crew continued to break them off with their riding mower rather than mow around or use a trimmer. They took 9 branches down. Also sent us a bill for fertilizer treatment when we explicitly hired them for mowing only.
