Revised review: Had some substantial difficulties at first working with the residential manager, but I can say that the owner Tim Gardiner cares about his business and pays attention when something goes wrong. After the initial problems, he came in to fix it and made sure the work was done right. After all is said and done, I believe they did an excellent job finishing the project and would hire them again. Please read edit above*** (Original 1 star review) It is not often that I find a business that fails to return calls or ghosts people over email that actually wants to stay in business. Over the course of over a month, I have attempted to get a quote for how much the landscaping I proposed would cost and have been ignored or responded to with large delays. Im reaching out to other landscapers now, because I have given up on actually hearing back. After the number of positive reviews and recommendations, I am disappointed to say the least.

Hello Meridian Landscaping team, In a world where there seems to be much pain, I was pleasantly impressed when I saw a gentleman in a pick up truck marked Meridian Landscaping - share a rose with a pedestrian waiting to cross the street. It was such a nice gesture. I witnessed this on Tuesday, 2/13/2024, at 11:40a at the intersection of N. Courthouse Road and N. 14th Street in the Courthouse subsection of Arlington. Thank you to the two employees, the pick up truck driver and the co-worker in the passenger seat.

Meridian did all my landscaping and snow removal for the 8 years I worked as maintenance director at a nursing facility. They were superb. I am now working at an assisted living facility as maintenance director for the past 5 months. When corporate leadership asked that I find a landscaping contractor to care for the grounds I immediately suggested Meridian and we hired them without thinking twice.

We contacted Meridian Landscaping and they came over within a day or two. We explained the job which was a little over a hundred feet of about 2 foot tall retaining wall around the front yard. They gave us some beautiful drawings within the week and a price and schedule and an estimated time of the start of the project. They were actually able to start much earlier which was great. They removed the old rotting wooden retaining and put in a stone on concrete retaining wall. They also put in drainage pipes from downspouts near the house that went to the sidewalk. The finished wall is beautiful and strong as evidenced by the kids walking on it on their way to school. We are very, very please with the results. All of this was done in less than two weeks.

Commercial Property Review? Extremely happy - Hire them! 5 stars! I am a property manager with 2 buildings each with different needs. One is a 24/7 veterinary hospital and a second smaller one that operates M-F. Even with different needs, from the sprinklers, to our snow removal, lawn care and tree mainteance, and different owners/billing, Meridian and Will Long, my Sales/Service contact have been outstanding at both locations. I get compliments on our property/s daily and we have dogs and owners walking everywhere. If anything would destroy a lawn, its foot traffic and pets. I have used 2 other companies before Meridian and could not wait to get out of my contracts with them. I interviewed 5 or 6 other companies when my contracts ended and was so relieved to meet Will and his team, with pricing that is extremely fair. In the 2 years since they took over our properties, we have had trees and old bushes removed, trees pruned, sod installed, sprinklers repaired and in each instance the work has exceeded my expectations. The mowing and lawn care is done on time and unlike other companies, I have not ever had to call and ask when they are coming to trim anything, mulch, plant flowers or rake leaves - I get a message or, its done before I realize. Our needs for snow removal are challenging too. Open 24/7 our lots must be pretreated, shoveled sidewalks and open to clients at all times. With other companies, I have had one problem after another... I am so pleased to recommend the team at Meridian! Thank you for making my job easier!

Kevin Jones is one of the best in the business. I ve worked with him at several different locations and every time he s delivered the best customer service. The quality of work Kevin and his crew does has always been satisfactory.

Theyve been fantastic so far in the two and a half years weve been working together. Theyve completed a few major projects for us, including hardscaping brickwork on our main drive (The Palatine Apartments) and have been doing our landscaping maintenance for that same time. They are responsive to communication and put out some good flower and front pot displays. I recommend Meridian!

I wanted to take the time to thank Meridian Landscaping, Matt and all his team on helping transform our yard. We had a lot of work done, things like a retaining wall, new bushes, flowers and 6 trees planted! Even a patio. It was a lot of work but they had it all done professionally in under 2 weeks! Best of all the quality was great and the workers pleasant to work with, making minor tweaks here and there. They were more then patient with me and I am sure detail oriented and OCD about things being perfect ;) I would highly recommend them to anyone else looking to get landscaping work done.

Meridian did a significant project for us this year including landscaping, and hardscaping including a driveway. Extremely professional and high quality work, with attention to detail that exceeded our expectations. The same crew was with us every day until the project was completed. The crew chief was responsive to our questions, and moved very quickly to resolve every small issue that arose during the project. The owner showed up several times to check progress, and there were no unexpected time or cost overruns.

Meridian Landscaping did an excellent job on our project. We hired them to install a flagstone patio, extend our concrete driveway, install a drainage system, and put in some boulder steps on a steep slope between the front and rear yards of our property. The owner, Tim, is a delight to work with. You can tell he really cares about quality and about his clients satisfaction. I am a landscape architect so I designed the project and I was super particular about the details. Tim was always patient, responsive, and took care of every question I had along the way. I have already recommended them to my clients and our neighbors, and will definitely call them back for future projects.

We hired Meridian Landscaping to redo an uneven flagstone patio, build a stacked stone seat wall and bury several downspout extensions at our home. They were recommended by several neighbors. Their quote for the project was very similar to other quotes we received, but their design was THE BEST, so we hired them. They did a fantastic job! Wow! I cannot say enough about Meridian Landscaping. Designing our front yard and sprucing up our side yards and backyard with Bev Ricci was so easy. I have worked with a number of designers in previous homes and Bev was by far the best. She listened as I processed my thoughts on what look, plants, etc. that I was looking for. She made suggestions but was not pushy. Bev has fabulous ideas and made suggestions to see my vision to full fruition. She truly takes in the full picture and working with her was so smooth and fun. She continuously checked in on the project to make sure that her plans were followed through by the crew as she intended and was willing to get in and work herself when needed. Tim Gardiner is the epitome of a professional businessman who cares about his company and his clients. From the beginning presenting his company and his proposal, the process was clear cut and his communication was excellent and timely. Hes also a great listener and problem solver. Tim checked in as the job unfolded and followed it all the way to the end. He made sure that we were happy with the outcome and went above and beyond to do so. I had never heard of Meridian Landscaping before this but we priced them against several companies and their prices were extremely competitive and I could tell that they were going to be easy to work with. Meridians crew led by Kelvin worked extremely hard to get the job done and done correctly. All the workers were polite, professional, and cared about their job. Our scope of work besides the plant beds included a new stone front walkway, two retaining walls, fixing a brick sidewalk, regrading, draining system, redesigning our dry river bed (from ugh to amazing), and lighting. And it all looks fantastic! I highly recommend Meridian Landscaping.

New Paver Patio. Amazing. So happy we selected Meridian. They were highly recommended and endorsed by the Fairfax County Best of publication. Last minute decision to call Tim. Their price wasnt the cheapest, nor the highest (toward the high side). But their quality of work is exceptional. The crew had a few guys with nearly 15 years tenure at the company. That in itself says something. Tim stopped by multiple times to check progress, fix or revise small changes. Overall, very happy and would gladly provide reference.

Meridian provided a novel solution to a drainage issue that has been eroding our lawn for ten years. They kept us informed when the schedule had to be slipped for weather. The quality of their work was exceptional.

Meridians landscaping quality is very impressive. They did an outstanding job on the retaining wall I had them build in our back yard. They are a great value, very punctual and responsive. I highly recommend them.

We used Meridian for some extensive landscape changes. Re-grading a large chunk of yard, removing three retaining walls, dealing with serious drainage issues, building a boulder step pathway and a new patio and retaining wall. I cant say enough good things about Tim and his crew at Meridian. We have been working with Tim for almost two years in anticipation of this project and he came up with outstanding ideas to get where we needed to go. His ideas resulted in savings on parts of the project that resulted in us being able to do more than we anticipated. His crew was on time, very courteous, and demonstrated great expertise across all aspects of the project. We were amazed at the speed with which they completed these projects and how clean the entire yard was afterwards. All the tracks from the Bobcat were cleaned up and re-sodded and the entire yard looked as if no one had been there. The work itself is exquisite and we are looking forward to enjoying our new patio in the Spring. We plan to use Meridian for one or two more projects and we cant recommend this company enough!
