Establishment been in business for a very long time, very knowledgeable staff and a large inventory.

Theres no better place in Staten Island to buy landscaping equipment or get it service. The guys here know their stuff and have been doing it for several decades. Theyre a staple in their community, and no one does it better.

They are the best of the best, just wish they had other locations. Im on the south shore a long way away. Theyre worth the trip when you need something new or repaired, landscaping, and snow removal

Lawn mower specialist shop. Gave my Ego lawnmower for repair, it was still under warranty, the process took about 3 and 1/2 weeks.

Augers, bolts, primer bulbs, nearly everything on deck mounted around the wall. Saved a bunch of time and money and more than likely going to call them again. My snowblower really showed my neighbor whos the man of the block. Ohh yeah baby

Excellent place to go for your yard needs whether residential or commercial.

All they guys are great here had to drop off snowblower for service were very friendly but they are very busy due to all the snow and people like me who waited till the last minute to get it serviced

I brought my Husqvarna gas chainsaw to Trimalawn because the chain popped off a few times so I called Husqvarna who referred me to Trimalawn as a nearby service provider. I had gone through a full tank of gas using it already, cutting limbs and dead, fallen trees in my yard with great success. The next time I used it the chain popped off a few times and I was baffled. The chain tension was right. The cover was on properly. There was chain and bar oil in the tank I HAD THE CHAIN ON BACKWARDS LIKE A DOPE and I rightfully so lost all credibility as a chainsaw operator at that point. I must have taken the chain off after the last use and set it back on incorrectly. Trimalawn gets one star because of the way the gentleman beat me over the head about it. He must have called me a novice and beginner 15 times. He also went on a major tirade about people buying from Amazon instead of him, which caused 3,000 shops like his to close down. His shop also gets no kickback from Husqvarna for being the local service provider with warranty issues so why sign up for it? Guess what Amazon is not going away either. Offer a much better price or top-of-the-line service. There is no possible way in the world you offer better service so I hope you offer a fantastic price. I am a computer teacher who has to help other teachers for tech issues as simple as the device being unplugged. As a MAN and a PROFESSIONAL, I do the job, show them the problem and offer some tips. Congratulations on being a better chainsaw operator than me. I am glad you are proud of yourself. I will NEVER buy from or get service from you! Oh yeah thanks for resetting my chain sir.

I took in my chain saw because It was just not starting. I tried everything. Silvio looked at it and said he would take care of it. I was a bit doubtful. I am pretty handy myself. I didnt expect that he would fix it so fast and for so cheap. I am a very happy customer.

Worst service in NYC

Pros: Good selection of products and parts in-house & knowledgeable staff. Cons: More basic customer service needed. A few weeks ago I acquired a lawn mower from a neighbor. It was in need of a stop cable bar and other parts normally not available at your local home center. After identifying the model of my mower I made a trip to Trimalawn in Mid-July, my third or fourth visit. When I arrived there were a few individuals waiting as usual. One was currently in mid-transaction with one staff member. Although there are often two staff members I wasnt greeted, acknowledged, or directed upon entry. I also wasnt aware who was finished or who was still waiting to be served. You have to jump in and ask. The regular clientele seems to be local landscape companies with the occasional homeowner, such as myself. What Trimalawn lacks in basic customer service it excels in an extensive array of items that will get back on your lawn job fast. There have been only a few instances where I have needed to order a part. When I have, it often comes in early and they notify me immediately to pick it up. The prices are reasonable and they far surpass your local home supply store with in stock items. I have not needed their repair service. What I was able to observe, it is well staffed and always busy. Overall, these guys are a great shop. One only comes here if you know your small engine product. This isnt a place for the casual mower or small engine product user. The more I visit here the more I feel I belong as an advanced user. No parts when I come in

If you want pro quality lawn care equipment, this is the place to go. Plus you can count on them for after purchase services. I got my Echo PAS 2260 line trimmer there after being let down by 2 different Toro models from the big box store. Works like a charm for the past 2 years. Beauty of it you can add the available pro attachments as you need them. I got a pruner for my use and plan to get a hedge trimmer and edger attachments next.

Could use more counter help but they are very knowledgeable and prices are competitive

THEY FIXED MY SNOWBLOWER. IT WAS 12 YEARS OLD. IT COST 259.00 DOLLARS. I WAITED THREE WEEKS. THEY ARE VERY BUSY. SNOW BLOWER WORKS LIKE NEW.

First rate, quality repairs and equipment. Jim and Silvio are old school knowledgeable at their profession, which is refreshing in this day and age. I would recommend Trimalawn to anyone in need of outdoor equipment and/or repairs.

These guys know what they are doing when it comes to fixing equipment. Had a lawn mower fixed. Did an excellent job at a fair price.

Fixed my snow blower fast. It was the day before a storm and they pushed to get the job done. The price was close to the estimate. I used the snowblower the next day and it was a new machine. I recommend them. Drain the gas out of your snowblower at the 3nd of the season

Repair for a grass trimmer took over a month. I had originally purchased the trimmer from sears and the guy that took the trimmer in couldnt stop degrading it and told us we should just buy a new one from them. I got the point the first 50 times, the trimmers sears sells are not the best but I have one now and its covered under warranty. -_-

[ ] The junk shop, trying to fix my snow shovel, was asking for 400 , almost buy a new one. and they dont want to return the deposit ,can only buy the goods in their store. 50 dollars only buy a pair of gloves and a scissor .never go again.

Real rude is the nice way of describing those guys. I bought a snow blower from them, they gave me no manual, did not show how this thing works, I had to figure out everything on my own. I called to ask a simple question about operating the machin, and the guy who answered tells me: this is simple why are you calling me for this, figure it out what a real loser.

Trimalawn goes the extra mile. They are courteous & helpful.

I brought my snow blower in for engine tuning and when I picked it up the engine ran fine but it had no power. Now when I brought it in it had power but the engine idle was surging. Silvio came out and checked it and did a little adjustment. He checked it again but he didnt really try to put the power to the test. I told him that it was my fathers and he bought it in 1980. I was trying to tell him there was sentimental value to it he just told me throw it out. He said its a friction problem and the parts were hard to find. So my impression is that he doesnt like to help people if there is a challenge or if its an old product. I work in retail and we dont treat customers like that. We want to help people so that they come back. Im not going back to them not even for oil. I would gladly travel to New Jersey for a whole lot better customer service.
