I contacted J & J Landscaping for my backyard renovation project, which included a vinyl fence for the property line as well as a vinyl picket fence for my garden, artificial turf, and pavers. The whole experience was so smooth. I had the pleasure of working with Joe. He is very professional, has great work ethic, honest and reliable. He is very on top of everything. The first time I met him, I explained what I wanted done and how I envisioned my backyard to look. He went right to work on preparing for the project and kept in constant communication. His workers started the job a week later, came early, on time, and worked hard till sunset. They finished the job in 2 weeks. The backyard looks beautiful! They did an amazing job! J&J was used for a concrete backyard project. James met with me initially to review the broken and outdated concrete patio I had as well as the walkway. I was having minor water coming in my basement so James went over options with me on waterproofing which involved them digging over 5 feet down and waterproofing the outside of the house where my basement was. I appreciated that James discussed doing a full waterproofing whereas some companies said fixing converter would be enough or waterproofing just far down enough to where the water was coming in. The team also added underground piping to attach to the gutter to ensure water was moving as far away from my house and not sitting under the concrete. He was patient with me asking questions on the water and broken concrete issues. My new concrete patio and walkway looks great and there has been zero water issues in my basement.

My Small yard now looks bigger with the amazing work these guys pulled off in only a few hours. Price was fair and reasonable. Very impressed and excited to continue business with them in the future.

I hired J&J Landscapers as my new landscapers based on reviews I read online. Since my 2 outdoor decks were in bad shape, I asked Joe if he was able to help and he was. Joe gave me an estimate later in the day and was able to schedule a start date within a week. The crew worked tirelessly to repair a 2fl deck and install a new side deck. I was truly impressed that Joe was at my house constantly to monitor the progress and if he wasn t there, his partner James was there. The workers were courteous, kind and respectful. Joe is professional, knowledgeable and friendly and responded to all my questions and texts within minutes. The completed job was above my expectations. I sent a message on their website inquiring about work on a retaining wall that we needed done. Not even five minutes later, Joe reached out to confirm a date and time for him to come and take a look. By next day he had a quote ready to go for me and his team started construction work almost immediately. The responsiveness was unparalleled and the quality of work they were able to do in the amount of time they did it in (2.5 days) is incredible. 100% would use their services again for landscaping work. The team is great!

I ve used J&J since the start of the pandemic and they ve been consistently the best lawn care service I ve ever used. Definitely worth switching over to. The workers are extremely friendly and get the job done in a timely matter.

Updated Review: Sadly we are forced to amend our original positive review of J&J after weeks of follow-up on our initial interactions with them went nowhere. As I had previously written, we recently took over a home that had been neglected for several years and initially called J&J for help clearing out the front and back yards. They were initially super quick in responding to our request, answered every question we had at the time, and had all of the work done in less than a week from our first contact. During the course of this first project we asked Joe and James if they would be able to stay on and do other projects for us. We also asked to sign up for their bi-weekly seasonal maintenance package for this season. We were told by both owners they could and would be able to do both, would put us on the maintenance list, and have James come back out in the next few days to inspect our porch and give us a quote for what we wanted done to it. That was almost five weeks ago. And despite exchanging several messages back-and-forth with Joe, to date no one has come to take care of our lawn/yard, or to do the project quote. Worse yet, after weeks of being told, sorry, were swamped but I got you, Joe just stopped responding altogether. They just completely ghosted us without any explanation leaving us with grass over a foot high now and scrambling to find another company to do the work J&J promised us they could and would do. I get being busy I really do, but to just not show up or answer inquiries is completely unprofessional. And the worst part is I really liked these guys and was thrilled with the initial job they did for us. We would have more than understood if they were to busy to take on our larger projects, but they chose instead to say sure, no problem, we can absolutely do that and just never show back up. They never even provided us with the final invoice of the initial clean-out job despite us paying it in full, subsequently asking for it twice, and being texted it would be sent that day. It never was. Very unprofessional guys, just very, very unprofessional.

Aside from the monthly lawn maintenance they have redone the front yard, installed a picket fence and most recently recolored and resealed my stamped concrete, making it look new again. Most importantly they are pleasant to work with, accommodating and keep the yard looking it s best! I would 100% use them for future projects and would recommend without hesitation.

J&J takes all of my landscaping needs, maintaining my property throughout the year. I asked Joe to install 2 privacy walls that I ll have them cover in vines next season. J&J took care of our unruly front lawn & backyard. They were so quick & quiet that I didn t even know they were there! In the 20 years of living in my house I ve never seen the lawn & yard look so fresh and clean. After moving we decided to go with J & J for our lawn maintenance. We agreed to start services as their monthly fee were competitive based with others. The first and second maintenance were okay and on time. When it came to fall clean up it led us to terminate services immediately. The crew were dishonest saying fall clean up was done, however our security cameras showed otherwise. After sending video as proof to owner he made it seems as if the video was not sufficient to show crew failed to do their job. Even though they send a male the next morning to supposedly do fall cleanup which all he did was throw seeds on grass. The owner still kept going back and forth through text messages being very unprofessional assuming he knows better and trying to belittle us. Be aware for the services being charged by them because if you don t have proof you will be paying for services that were not rendered. We don t do business with unprofessional and dishonest people. After hiring another company who thoroughly explained the fall cleanup and agreed J&J did not do their fall cleanup properly we are just thrilled we terminated immediately.

We hired them to clean up my late in-laws yard after they passed away to help us get ready to put the house on the market. Due to my father in-law s illness, the landscaping had been really neglected for over 6 months. They were very responsive, provided us a very fair price, and got to work on exactly the timeline they told us they would. And the work looked terrific when it was done. Will definitely be recommending them to the next owners of the house.

I called Joe at J&J, he responded quickly, sent me a quoted amount and by Friday afternoon my little job was complete. He was prompt, professional and delivered as promised. I reached out through IG initially at 8:40 pm on a Sunday. J&J immediately responded and provided me with a reasonable quote based on photos and measurements that evening. First thing Monday, they reached out to schedule an in person visit and were there on time at 10:00 am on Tuesday. From there, they took their own measurements, made recommendations and provided another quote. By Monday they were back at 10:00 am to install new eco border, mulch and sod to my specifications. The three guys, including Joe and James, were all great, precise and professional. Overall, it was a good experience and I would use them again in the future. I cannot wait to see my new yard when everything blooms!

As they were finishing up, Joe sent me the invoice with a full breakdown of services as well as payment options. As easing as ordering on Amazon, the whole process was seamless. 10 ! Will ABSOLUTELY use them again.

First of all, I need to say that I do not use J and R Landscapers (we actually dont use ANY landscapers - my husband does all the yard work). However, my next door neighbor and my daughters next door neighbors use J and R and they are the most considerate, thorough and tidy people I have ever encountered in landscaping. Other neighbors have crews that blow their leaves and debris into our yard, leave garbage around and are just annoying - NOT J and R! They are helpful and so nice. If I were going to have a landscaping crew, these are the only guys I would hire. They are the BEST.

I ve been using J&J for the last 3 years, from the very beginning of having Joe come out and give me an estimate, he has always been very professional and quick to respond to any questions or requests that I have. His crew is hard working and consistent with every visit. They check in throughout the season to see if everything is acceptable and the way I like it. I would definitely recommend them to anyone who needs landscaping services.

Joe was super responsive when I first reached out to him about getting work done on my front lawn. He gave me a price I was very comfortable with and they were doing work on my lawn within 4 days after contacting him. He gave me great suggestions during the design phase and came on time as promised. His crew came across tree roots when laying down the retaining wall and were able to remove them without any problems or complaints. The retaining wall came out great. Joe and his guys did a great job. Replaced the fence on the entire side of my house, including removing the old fence and cleaning up all in one day. Would definitely recommend and will be using them again when I do my other fence in the future.

These guys are great. Showed up exactly when they said they would. They worked the whole time through, until the job was completely done. Attention to detail was excellent (I couldn t believe they planted my new shrubs at the exact same height, despite being 10 apart. Didn t notice how precise they were until after I looked at a picture!). Cleaned up after themselves. The front of my house looks great. Can t wait to see the future work they do with the change of seasons. 10/10 would recommend.

J&J Landscaping did an excellent job. They replaced old fencing and installed new upgraded fencing, The crew came right on time, worked hard and finished in one day, staying later than scheduled too. Their work was meticulous, The result is much better looking than the fencing they replaced, and certainly several times better in quality. Their clean up was equally comprehensive - not a speck of dust left anywhere. Definitely a great experience, and on top of everything their estimate was the lowest of the three we interviewed. Will definitely be recommending to friends and neighbors.
