We hired Vincent Marando Landscaping to replace our sidewalk and clear a DOT violation for a trip hazard. Ralph was great and explained everything thoroughly, his crew was polite and most importantly neat and quick! They removed and replaced the sidewalk on the same day! We were so happy with the sidewalk job that we decided to have them replace some pavers and do some stucco work in our yard. Again clean, fast, polite and thorough. I would highly recommend Vincent Marando Landscaping if you need any masonry work done on Staten Island.
Please do yourself a favor and do not waste your time shopping around; Vincent Marando Landscaping are going to make you happy. It started out by me seeing some amazing work done with our next door neighbor's backyard, I wanted the same thing, I asked my neighbor for the phone number and I reached out to them. A professional gentleman with the name Ralph immediately came over and gave me a reasonable appraisal with a detailed description of what and how it would be done, he left some patterns of pavers which I chose a color to match my deck. The entire work was done in few days and it was stunning. Immediately I recommended them to my collogue at work. Hey, did I say Ralph helped me also in getting the HOA to approve the construction with their unreasonable demands, yes he did. unfortunately, I have to sell the house. Danny.
Ralph transformed my backyard to a beautiful Landscape. My hosue is on a hill, so my backyard is like a slope and needs to level it. My next-door neighbor has a tree just right next to my fence, Ralph brings up a solution to keep the tree with a nice hardscape. He was able to answer all my questions and give me good suggestions. He listened to all my needs and preferences, offering helpful advice. After I decided on the color of the paver, he brought me samples to choose from. During the job, I made a couple of changes to the plan, and he patiently listened and made it work for me. He also cleaned up every day before leaving. My experience, from picking the pavers until the job was completed, was great. I am very happy with Ralph and would highly recommend him.

I redid my entire back yard from scratch. I explained to Ralph what I wanted. New concrete slab, pavers over the slab and a new fence. He was very professional and knowledgeable of how he was going to do it. He sent us a catalog of different pavers to choice from and sent samples to touch and feel it before purchasing it. He was very patience with us and we communicated back and forth with difference ideas with patterns and colors of the pavers. All and all just look at the results. Would highly recommend him to do any work on Staten Island period. Good job Ralph!!!!!!

I recently had my driveway and backyard transformed by Vincent Marando Landscaping, and I have to say I am beyond happy with how it turned out. Ralph was very patient with me and worked through all my requests. His men were very professional and their work was by far the best I ve seen. Ralph and his men are god sent although my 8 HONEY BEE HIVES don t agree and love to chase them around the yard while their cutting my grass and shrubs they know the bees are important, needed to help make there great work look even better by them pollinating our community . Ralph Marando has earned six Stars, why? Because he is one of a kind as a Person and contractor! I hired Ralph to install pavers in my house driveway, 800 square feet. The price he quoted was very reasonable. He mobilized large number of skilled professional workers and heavy equipment and completed the job in 2 weeks as he promised. He used the best materials and the best methods in installing the pavers . The work site was cleared and cleaned every day, they been nice to the neighbors. Ralph was on the site every day, overseeing the work progress and paying a great attention to the details. The whole project was completed with my full satisfaction and appreciation. NIGHTMARE. BEWARE. Makes lots of promises but then forgets what he agreed upon. LIED about getting permits. Leaves trash and cigarette butts all over the yard. Took payment and never finished the job. Big Mistake. Negative
I hired Ralph to do my patio in January 2022. He did such a fantastic job that I hired him again to do my driveway. Ralph has been a pleasure to deal with. He always does what he says he will do and honors his work. There are some minor things like bottle caps and cigarettes that the guys leave, but if that s the worst of it, then, that s par for this work.
