Russel and Hayley have been around for many years, doing big, small, and odd jobs around our massive garden and car park. From tree, edge cutting, re-plantind tree and shrubs, new lawn, building garden furniture, and repairing garden tools of any kind. Russel has a great knowledge of garden machinery, Lawn mower, Strimmer, and chainsaws. Always available and very consistent on his job. Health safety has always been a priority, on his work, especially around other people's property or working on the road.... Cannot fault his work, of this team...

Thank you Google! Chainsaw not working, so we search for a local recommend and Russell at The Grass Cutter Stamford, based in Ryhall, is first up! A phone call, five minute journey, and, within half an hour, the carburettor’s stripped, cleaned and reassembled and my chainsaw working once again. Superbly responsive, express service from a man who is clearly mechanically greatly capable and, most importantly, obliging. Great value and would highly recommended. Thank you.
In spite of having an expensive service done in Oakham, my mower still had problems. Russell fixed everything within an hour and it now runs like new. His prices are very reasonable and I shall certainly recommend him to friends and will return when it’s time for another service. He is a real enthusiast and very knowledgable and courteous. I highly recommend him.
An amazing all round service from Russell, from start to finish he was very professional and helpful. He left my mower running better than the day it came out the shop. He gave it a very thorough clean, grease and service from top to bottom and all for a very reasonable price too. The switch on my electric mower broke and the top half of the handle was swapped out for one from a broken mower. Such a great eco friendly and economical repair. Blade sharpened too. Great service. Well recommended.

....Took my Stihl chainsaw to our local Mower Man after finding the business website. The chainsaw wasnt operating correctly when working under load. This was sorted for me in very quick time, with useful advice on mixing 2 stroke ratios correctly. Hopefully the chainsaw will continue to power away as it once did. Excellent service on a Sunday morning. I was about to give my lawn the first trim of the year when I discovered the mice in my shed had chewed through the rubber prime nozzle. I made one phone call to The Grass Cutter who had the part I needed. Within the hour my mower was up and running. Thank you The Grass Cutter
My lawn mower would not start and it was fixed in minutes. I had tried everything, even phoned the manufacturer to be told that my mower needed the valve checking. But this was not the case and my mower did not need an expensive repair just adjusting. Thank you so much. I totally recommend using The Grass Cutter.

Very quick and professional service, I took my flymo to have a bent blade repaired, not only did he go above and beyond repairing the bent blade and sharpening it, he reccomended adjustments to the lawnmower and performed them straight away. Very happy with the work carried out and great value for money would highly reccomend.

I d need to have bought a new mower if it wasn t for Russell. He s done a major and ingenious fix to my broken mower deck, which has lasted well, and this week diagnosed and fixed an ignition problem in 24 hrs. Top Man. Recommend to anybody with a mower or a lawn. Or both.
