James and his team did an absolutely wonderful job on our front and back gardens. Timely, quick and very tidy throughout! Everyone was lovely and polite - a pleasure to work with. I would 100% recommend Marram Gardens for a brilliant job done, on schedule and as per the estimate. Thank you!!
Hi James, I would like to say how pleased I am with the re-build of my front and rear gardens. They were both in dire need of a revamp. You and your team worked very hard and did the work in a friendly and professional way. I now have a patio area to entertain on and a decent driveway to park on. Thank you. Dennis
James Owens and his team are outstanding. They provide a complete service from design, construction and long term maintenance. They worked with me and my partner to design our dream court-yard garden, then built it to time and to budget. I enjoyed the garden so much over the summer... it was transformational. They then came back to help "put it to bed" for the winter. The team are professional, friendly, considerate and efficient. It's one of the best experiences I have had. You can't go wrong!
The service from Marram Gardens is excellent on every level. Can't say enough about their advice, skill and professionalism. Our garden and driveway is even better than we imagined.
Complete Landscaping Project Marram Gardens have transformed our plain garden into a beautiful garden which is enjoyed by all the family. The works were completed on time in a polite, efficient and professional manner. It has settled in and has got more beautiful with time.
We are extremely pleased with the transformation of a small, dark & damp area to a stunning limestone patio in our rear garden. Plenty of room for entertaining with BBQ, seating and decorative pots. James provided us with advice and options, responding quickly to our requests. The attention to detail was impressive, the team were professional, polite and we appreciated the fact that they completed the work without delays.
Replanted our garden 8 years ago and it looked lovely for the first year. Sadly quite a few of the plants didn't survive a cold winter and gradually we have lost more to hotter, drier summers. We also found that there was not a good mix of colour at different times of the year - it's nice in early spring but then quite dull through the summer. As we are not experts in planting but had made it clear in our spec that we wanted year round colour, that was particularly disappointing. However, our main issue at the time, which we did make clear, was the need to rid ourselves of ground elder, and that has been a complete failure as the suggested mulching proved totally ineffective and got worse with each passing year. Another firm later tried laying a liner, but it was too hard around the established plants so we have now given up the unequal struggle and resorted to chemical warfare. The opportunity to completely lift the soil at the time the entire garden was emptied was missed.... We will now be completely replanting over the next 2-3 years, but will be doing our own research and sourcing plants etc.
