I am extremely disappointed with the service provided by ProGreen. As the owner of a property in Pinellas, I entrusted them with my lawn care for over two years. However, after a treatment in April, my lawn died due to chemical burns. Despite numerous attempts to contact their team for a resolution, I have not received any assistance. The lack of accountability and poor customer service is unacceptable. Multiple assessments confirmed the damage was caused by their treatment, yet no solution has been offered. I would NOT recommend this company to anyone, as they are unwilling to hold themselves accountable and have offered zero solutions.

I was using Marshall lawn and pest control for my new sod. They did the new sod treatment. Within a month, the sod was dying. The office manager at Marshall said it was impossible for the lawn to be affected by sod webworms. I found a webworm rolled up like a burrito in a Liriope leaf. We called Desi at Progreen who came out that afternoon and diagnosed more than one problem with the landscape and treated it. I would highly recommend Desi and Gabby, the office manager. Desi knows his stuff when it comes to landscape materials.

We recently stayed in a condo in Indian Rocks Beach and after a couple of days noticed some bugs . We called our vacation rental company and they sent out Dez Brooks of Pro Green. Dez came out within 2 hours of receiving an emergency call and was absolutely great at doing a very professional job. His attention to detail was outstanding and knowledge was very helpful. I wish I could say more about how amazing and professional this company and their employees are. I work two jobs as an insurance adjuster and an addiction counselor, and attend classes for my masters degree in Social Work. I also have health issues which make it difficult for me to complete yard work by myself without passing out. Dez and his team have been absolute life savers this month as my yard equipment broke this summer and my roommate and I did not have the resources to buy the equipment we needed to landscape our yard. The yard over grew so badly we were cited by the county. My roommate and I tried to pull every resource we had to get what little equipment we had working but could not do it by the county deadline. I called Dez at ProGreen the Saturday before the county deadline. He was so empathetic, understood my situation, and the next morning Dez and his team brought in the full cavalry the morning of the county deadline. I almost cried the yard looked so beautiful and Dez and his team didnt even judge me for getting emotional. I would recommend the ProGrean team to anyone in the area, as someone who works to help others as much as I can, heros come in many forms and help in many ways. They helped me diagnose the problem (bedbugs) and were here same day. They even came back for a re-treat next day when I saw more signs in a different place. Great service, would recommend them and use them again in a heartbeat.

We signed up for a 12-month contract to cover interior and exterior pest control. With start-up fees, and monthly costs, it comes out to about $1,600 for the year. This is a pretty basic package and they try to sell it to you as $70 a month, but it isnt when all the fees ad up. We knew this was something we needed to invest in, but boy did we not get anywhere near the service of even $10 a month. The actual service is someone coming by your house, running around as fast as possible with spray, pinning up their logo flag to show they were there, and moving on. We had bug issues nearly the entire time (both inside and outside), including cockroaches, chinch bugs (lawn), gnats, flies, and other normal Florida pests I would anticipate having if we didnt pay for a service. We called and emailed, but never received responses. We would only get action if we were fast enough to catch the service person while he was sprinting across our yard for the monthly spray for those 3 minutes. They only treated the interior once after several conversations on the need (and we were paying for this!). We canceled this service several times before and after the 12-month contract expired. Progreen continues to charge us and continues to ignore emails and phone calls. We have left it up to the bank to take care of at this point. So disappointing.

Dezi and his crew came out for an initial clean up of my property and I was amazed at their attention to detail and how great of a job they did! My property was not being taken care of by my previous landscaper. They hand pulled all of the weeds out of my hedges and plants and got the place looking as good as new! They even found an old fishing reel in the bushes that we didn t know was in there for the 2 years we have been living here! We look forward to working with this company for regular maintenance as well as lawn/plant fertilization. It is nice to have one company really able to do it all! I have canceled this service multiple times, both by phone, by letter, and in person for the following reasons: 1. Service techs did not provide service as contracted. They simply did not show up. One service tech who did come long after service was canceled said the company was having difficulty finding people to provide service. 2. My lawn has died as a result of bug/mold infestation and I am now paying to have it resodded. 3. I explained these issues multiple times to a very rude office manager who said I needed to pay for service for two more months. No.

Called to ask for a quote on termite treatment. After a long period of answering their questions, the lady finally said they dont handle termite problems but will refer me to another company. I asked who and they said Cameron Pest Control. I told them that I was going to call them anyway, but she insisted... saying that if they do it, I would get a better price. Later Cameron called me and they said that Progreen gets a referral fee, my price stays the same. It s a matter of trust, integrity and respect for the customers time.

When Progreen assumed the account, the lawn was in really poor condition. They immediately treated the lawn for weeds and fungus. I was very happy with the service I received from all of the staff at ProGreen. I contacted them only yesterday for estimates on monthly lawn pest control/fertilizer and a yard clean-up. Their prices were good and only a day later they ve already been here and done both. Dezi seemed to know a lot about what was going on with my grass and even pointed out a dry area that led me to find a broken sprinkler head which they will be replacing tomorrow. Jason and the clean up crew did an awesome job of trimming the plants and shrubs away from the house, removing all the leaves and debris from the beds and giving my yard the spring makeover it really needed. Will recommend them to friends and neighbors for their responsiveness, knowledge and great services.

Within the last week, the rain has brought a lot of ants into our home. Normally we get our pest control services by Always Green ($85); they only spray the perimeter of the house to target where the ants are entering, which almost instantly clears up our ant troubles inside the home. But because of the holiday weekend, they weren t able to make it out before next week. I was in a pinch and Pro Green was able to come out the same day and do a one time pest control job ($150). I expressed to them our recent ant troubles and to only spray the perimeter because of our precautions with COVID. My poor review isn t because of the customer service, because everyone I spoke with was very nice/friendly. My poor review is because it s one day after the treatment and I am still seeing a lot of ants inside our home. We called Pro Green to share our frustrations, and it was explained to us without very much empathy that it was not their problem since they weren t able to spray inside our home, and they can come back out after the weekend to spray inside the home. I understand spraying both outside and inside the home would eliminate the problem, but it seems odd to me that Always Green has always been able to eliminate the ants by just spraying the perimeter rather than tracing through the house. The end result I m left with is having to kill ants throughout the house over the holiday weekend, and call Always Green to come out and do their quarterly treatment.

Progreen is always super responsive and their technicians are very polite. When they need to come in to do a service they always wear a mask which is important to me and do a thorough job! Thank you Dez and Company for a consistently.well done job!

Hi, Honestly ProGreen is the best in the area. We ve had more large and popular companies that many people in the St Pete area use (not going to name names) and while the other companies were good , ProGreen is GREAT (better than great really) !!! I don t like to bash people, so I don t write negative reviews, but if a company warrants a five star review I will do it. We use Pro Green for lawn care and pest control, and while both are outstanding, the quality and thoroughness of the pest control blew my mind. They do things that no other company in the area does, such as spray in the attic, move your refrigerator to spray behind it, take outlets out of the wall to spray in the walls, just stuff that I didn t even know any Company would even do. Other companies come in your house and spray the perimeter of all the rooms, which keeps pests out of the house, but as you know most pests live in the walls where you can t see them. Honestly, it feels like all the work they do would cost double what they charge. I fully support and recommend this company to anyone who wants to have a thorough job that they can feel comfortable and safe with. After witnessing how they do their pest control it set a new standard for what I know is possible and I won t ever use another company again :-) Pro green Lawn customer for life!

I am relatively new to St Petersburg. I have a back injury that prevented me from trimming trees and shrubs, etc. I ended up with a backyard that looked like a jungle took over and we could not enjoy the back patio. So I searched google and found this company. Boy did I get lucky. This team does a fantastic job at a good price. They were very punctual, polite and cleared up the entire area and hauled it all off my property . It is like a night and day difference! They were fantastic and above my expectations. After that I signed up for them to maintain throughout the year. I highly recommend them !

Wow. I love everything about these folks. Theyre a one-stop shop (lawn maintenance, irrigation, pest control) and are super effective. The grubs are gone, the grass is filling in, and the irrigation system is finally working again. I called Progreen because my previous provider just couldnt get their act together. I was greeted professionally and transferred to Dezi. He showed up at the appropriate time and was extremely knowledgeable about all aspects of my lawn and plants. We made a deal and he quickly diagnosed a grub problem which could have been a lot worse if left untreated, treated it and now my lawn is green again. Trust Progreen they will be fair and do you right. And most of all take the worry out of your lawn care.

I really appreciate the fast response time and great service and results. We started using them just for pest and weed control on our brand new lawn. Another company installed our sprinkler system and grass, but when we were having trouble with browning, I asked if the could help. They have been so responsive and helpful. They have been able to do anything lawn related. (Adjust sprinklers, add risers, fix the pump...you name it!). The prices to get things fixed have been very reasonable and our lawn looks great!

Courteous and very professional service.

I had to click on 1 star just so that I could post this but I do not believe they deserve even that. Please proceed with caution before using the services of this company and most definitely before signing their contract which is only in place to protect themselves and not the consumer. My brand new grass had one small dead patch back in November when I hired this company to keep it from getting worse. Needless to say, each time they came out, somehow they made it worse. I am not sure what they are spraying on there but it does not work. When I called the company today, they told me I have to provide 60 day cancellation notification, plus pay the monthly fees, and get this, they are not even responsible to replace the grass they destroyed according to their contract. Again, please be very careful especially if you have new grass like I did. Btw, I am also going to call the Better Business Bureau tomorrow to see if I can write a formal complaint.

Progreen Pest control customer service is excellent and they do right by the work, which is the reason I continue to use their service. This is our first time using progreen. I assumed it was going to be 20 or 30mins of spraying the kitchen and bathroom corners. I was very impressed by how thorough Dezi was. He removed majority of the electrical plates and placed bait behind them and then put the plate back on. He crawled into the attic and sprayed some stuff into it. Then he set gel in all the cracks and crevices. Towards the end he went outside and sprayed all around the house and cleaned cobwebs and what not. All together it was a solid 1-1.5hrs. Dezi was very nice and explained a lot of prevention techniques for us too.

So pleased with our insect control service today. Dezzi, our service representive, was exceptionally professional, polite, and extraordinarily thorough. Weve used several pest control services over the years, and I was impressed with how thorough Dezzi was. Outlet covers were removed, the fridge was pulled out, and vegetation was pulled from the exterior of our home. Finally, the quoted price couldnt be beat. I am thus far very pleased. Thank you!

This past week I had a problem with the rain, and maybe even some dirty neighbors with some unpleasant visitors coming in. I didnt realize it was even too much of a problem until I last minute was planning on some company staying with me for the week. I called Pro Green as soon as they opened on a Monday morning, and Jayson was right on it. He was so kind, helpful, and knowledgeable even just over the phone. Dessie, who was sent out to my location, not only took care of my problem immediately, but let me know if I had any questions, which I did, he would follow up with me and help me out, which he also did. He explained everything he was doing and helped ease my mind about my circumstance. This company is full of people who really do care about your circumstances, and this team did everything they could, including an extra drain cleaning and an ant trap, to insure the wipe out or any critters to come near my apartment at all! Within 48 hours I failed to see any live bugs, and within 72 hours, Ive seen none (not even dead) at all. Not only does their product seem to work immediately, but it is also pet friendly which my cat appreciates. I highly recommend Pro Green to anyone who is looking for a job done right the first time, and a problem solved immediately, efficiently, and professionally. Generally I don t waste my time writing reviews but I was very impressed on how Progreen Pest control was so knowledgeable in their fields of specialties. All the questions I had they answered and even thought me a thing or two. When I had Orkin, those guys wanted to just spray and go. Progreen makes me feel like they care about my yard and I can t complain about Progreens prices, they are the best! My yard looks super healthy and just so pretty!!! I m telling all my neighbors! They should get NO stars! Shady company and combative. My lawn is overrun with chinch bugs and crabgrass. They provide lousy lawn and customer service. They came out recently and didnt realize we werent home. The tech never got out of the truck, but we got a bill for service anyway! Try to cancel and they want to enforce a 60 day cancellation policy, which means youre going to pay for a month of service you dont even want!

What a great place. I never deal with a business without first going to there facility. I knew from the second I stepped out of my car that I was at the right place. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. They showed me several different ways that i could handle my situation and let me pick what I felt was the best option for me. I would highly recommend them and already have to several of my friends.

We contacted ProGreen at the end of July 2015 for an estimate regarding application of their organic fertilizer and give us feedback for holes that were showing up in our lawn. The representative was very friendly, and told us he thought we had moles; he stated their company would treat the lawn to help control the insects that the mole was feeding off of and that should help our situation. We had our first service a few days later and we looked forward to the results. Much to our dismay, less than a week later our lawn started dying and looked like it was burnt. We gave it a week before calling the office and they sent a technician out that told us he didnt know what was causing our damage. At that point we put in our 60 day notice, on August 14, 2015, to cancel our contract, and decided to still have them come out at the end of August as scheduled. Our lawn continued to get worse so we stated that we would forgo what we thought was our last application at the end of September and just pay to finish out our contract. To much surprise, I received a bill a few days ago (in November) for the work we had forgone in September, as well as another bill for October. When I stated that we cancelled our contract, I was told by their accountant, after having to call their office a second time when I didnt receive a return phone call, that we were obligated to pay for September and October. Basically, even though our service was always at the end of the month, they squeezed in another service almost 10 days early on the last day of our contract. I am really disappointed with this company - we looked all over for organic treatment as we have little children. However, due to their lack of customer service, damage to our lawn, and extra charges, I can confidently say I will never recommend their company and will go out of my way to make sure no other customer has to deal with this.

I utilized services from Progreen for almost one year. My lawn has multiple patches of dead grass. I have recently paid $180 to repair the broken lights that resulted from the lawn mowers being driven over them. I have 2 dead Royal palms as well. I cannot recommend this Company
