I got my small backyard done over a year ago and have non stop headaches since the artificial grass was laid with no solution from the business. They first forgot to cap a sprinkler head after installation which bubbled up a massive pool of water under the turf. When I notified them of this, they took so long to offer to even come out that we had to pull it back and cap the sprinkler head ourselves. No apologies from them on this. Then over time we started to have a pretty major pool leak, after months and months of thinking it was our pool and finally paying to have a leak specialist come out, we realized that it was from the pipes that led to our pool. Their team had staked into our pipe that ran to a jet in our spa. This pipe was leaking water underneath the artificial grass and under our pavers around our pool for MONTHS! I notified the business owner and staff of all of this with proof of pictures and videos. They state they submitted an insurance claim months ago but never follow up with me in a timely manner. They haven t apologized about any of these or tried to personally handle the problem with me. I am so incredibly disappointed in how this has all gone and been handled. I would not recommend this business. Should anything change, I will adjust this review but for now my opinion remains.

I would like to give this place beyond five stars from the customer service to the quality of the product. The company did an exceptional job. The price quote was accurate. The team showed up when they were supposed to and did a fantastic job. It was really nice to have a great experience with a home improvement project. It s hard to find that nowadays. I highly recommend these guys.

I have used Durable Lawn twice now and have been very pleased with their work and professionalism. They have also repaired my damaged turf and I can t even tell where the repair was done. I plan to use them again in the future when I have more turf installed in another part of my yard.

***Edited & Revised The owner received my initial review that expressed my disappointment in deciding to use this company or refer them to anyone and he immediately reached out. To be honest I thought my words were going to fall on deaf ears again. The owner explained the hang up and what caused the delay. He said he would have the base team out to repair and replace the damaged tile and have his turf team come out and address the turf issues. The very next day after speaking with him his crew came out and exceeded my expectations, especially after my initial impression. I have had all my concerns addressed. The owner and his teams were on it and addressed everything on my list. I made an ooopsie and walked on the tile after being told to avoid the area for at least 24 hours so it could set. The owner had the team back out and within minutes the base team returned and set the area again. Even though it took longer than I anticipated, I am happy I have turf that I can enjoy with my family and friends. *** Summary of my initial review. I have left my initial review to keep this review honest. The owner and his team have owned up to and have resolved the issues. My problem lies with the property damage, the installation of the turf, the visual seams and the nails that are visible (which I was told would not be seen due to the method they used to hammer in the turf). For the cost of this project, I expected my yard to look more professionally done. No one was ever openly rude to me, just failed to communicate the damage. The turf team had to be called back multiple times to complete the job. Once all was done and I say that loosely property damage was identified including broken fence panels in my front yard, a broken vinyl panel in my back yard, chipped and cracked patio tile and my AC condensate line being covered with turf. The company s owner came to my home after I forwarded video of his crew damaging my property and just leaving.

I am a past 100% satisfied customer of Durable Lawn, who over the past 3 years, have used them twice to install artificial grass throughout my property. I called them again to install more artificial grass, which this time required paver and irrigation work before the grass was installed (yes they do it all). They completed the entire project in a timely and very professional manner. It looks beautiful, thank you Durable Lawn. Without a doubt, they are the best installer in the area.

I cant say enough about my interactions with Durable. We needed to replace a decent section of our lawn (aka trampled dirt) as we have a couple of high energy dogs that did a number on our lawn. The first interaction was with Chris. He came to our place, looked things over, made some suggestions and gave us a fair price. It is obvious that Durable has hired quality crews. First group came out, dug up the area and laid the foundation. As I work from home, I was snooping on them, and was very impressed by the work ethic. The next day, the turf crew came out, laid out the turf and did their finishing work. It was very impressive and we couldnt be happier. Chris was out here to make sure things were going well. If you have dogs and want a solution to create a safe and clean area for them, I would give Durable a call.

It was a really great experience, pricing was good, quality of work was great and the team was awesome. They did my new driveway with pavers on the first job, Then i had them come back a second time to do more pavers and turf on my backyard. Now i am about to scheduled them to comeback for a 3rd time to do some turf on my front yard and more pavers..

I had a very specific vision for a bit of artificial turf. Durable lawn responded very quickly with great options and amazing execution. Call me old fashioned, but I like talking through my ideas with a human, not a robot. Durable Lawn is all human.

I would not recommend using Durable Lawn for artificial turf installation. The contractor failed to complete the job and ignored my attempts to fix the issue, forcing me to seek legal action. I am left with a half-finished front yard. They clearly did not properly research the rules and regulations for installing artificial turf in a right of way. The day they installed the turf, I received a violation from the City of St Petersburg for changing the right of way to artificial turf without zoning approval. I paid $18,600 for their services, and now I have to pay over $13k to reverse their work and have sod installed, or I ll get fined $500/day by the City of St Petersburg. Their lack of attention to detail and disregard for proper procedures and code regulations has caused me frustration and inconvenience. The result is less than satisfactory, and I am left with the burden of finding another contractor to fix the mess they left behind. Overall, a very disappointing experience.

A no brainer. Best decision ever.

Let me first start out by saying Im a family member of a customer that observed a job being done. My issues lie with the workers. For one the timeline given on the work was way off. Hearing itll be done in 2-3 days and its a week later is unacceptable. Then seeing guys walking around smoking and finding cigarette butts in the landscaping all over the place (no one here smokes) is pure disrespectful. The one tall eye candy guy with muscles who is a new manager I heard from the company owner Chris...hes fantastic. Ask for him to always be at your house. Seeing guys show up at 10/11am then sitting in chairs like they own the place he was out there working hard even when he was by himself and no other workers here. I recommend the turf grass but bring guys on time and clean up behind yourselves please for future reference

Chris and Chad were both great to work with. Job was done quicker than expected and they were there to explain every step. My useless yard is now a place to enjoy for me and my dog.

Before we called Durable Lawn, we had a sand pit of a back yard from our two dogs. They were referred to us by another extremely satisfied customer who showed us many pictures of before and after the installation. Wwe called Durable Lawn that same evening, the owner called us back that night, AND it was a Sunday. We made arrangements for the estimate, and Im happy to say, we have a yard beyond our wildest dreams! The crew was conscientious about their work and clean up efforts. They made ornamental arrangements around our tree and entrance ways without us having to ask that are beautiful! Bonus! They also repaired sections of our broken vinyl fencing! They went above and beyond our expectations and we will definitely be using them for our future lawns and pavers. Thank you Chris and all the guys that did our install.

We just had our backyard redone with this artificial turf. Chris, the owner, was so responsive, prompt,, and very fairly priced. We had many other quotes and he was a fraction of their cost. His worked with us on the precise timeline we needed installation. His team was also amazing. They did fabulous, high quality work. The transformation was fantastic! Excellent experience! We had turf installed on our condo balconies. Chris, the owner, was very responsive to all of my requests, even proactively following up afterwards to find out if we were satisfied. The team he sent out was prompt, polite, and meticulous. We are very pleased with the results.

Had my back yard done. I do have concerns , in some areas grass is growing up through my turf. Was told to spray it with vinegar and dawn soap by one of the techs on a return service call to correct orignal install problem. He said if it continues I might need the weed barrier put down? Why wasnt this done in the first place? Owner does return calls, just took too long to correct initial install problems,( over 2 months). Now I have a yard that will need maintenance to keep the weeds from coming through. The whole reason for installing artifical turf was to have a maintenance free yard.

From start to finish Chris was professional and communicated what to expect from estimate to delivery. I went from having a muddy and sandy yard that I did not enjoy one bit, to having a clean yard that my dogs and I are so happy with. From the demo team that took out dirt and leveled the back yard, to the install team, they were all professional and quality workers. Not once did I see anybody wasting time on their phones as has been the case for other companies and other projects. I am very pleased with Chris, the team and the product that was installed. Ill be using them again for my front yard and recommend them to anyone looking to actually enjoy their lawn without the mess of maintenance. Chris along with Christopher Lees deck and fence work has been nothing short of perfect!

We got 3 bids and we are so glad we went with this wonderful company. Our project was big, we had a lot of hardscape (rock) to be removed, and water issues that were causing erosion along my foundation. Chris and his A team cleared the areas quickly and steadily worked the soil to create the best drainage of water away from my home. Once the artificial grass was laid, OMG, the transformation was breath taking. I have a yard that looks beautiful, and doesn t require cutting, watering, fertilizer. Chris stayed on schedule and has one of the hardest, well trained, team of workers I have seen. He is a expert in his field, and keeps the customer as his number one priority. Go with his company, you ll be happy you did.

Chris and team did a great job. I wanted the job done quickly and they were able to accommodate me. The pricing was also reasonable (it was the lower of the two quotes I received). The product looks great and the install looks clean. Have only had it for one two days so cant speak to durability yet, but am very satisfied at this point. All of the installers were friendly and left the site at least as clean as they found it. The only issue I had was a slight misunderstanding that left my vehicle inaccessible for an evening and about half of a morning. Still would give five stars.

Over half a year ago, we had artificial turf installed at one of the high-end properties my family rents out. Maintaining that lawn used to be very work intense, consuming a lot of time and requiring a significant recurring investment into maintenance products. The lawn doesn t require any work now and it looks incredible. It was easy to communicate with the owner throughout the project, he was professional and knowledgeable. This was the lowest bid we received. The team was well trained and competent they addressed all our concerns, answered our questions, and delivered on the promises made. We haven t experienced any issues with the lawn, it looks as it did the day installation was complete. I highly recommend this company.

Really good shop, has very nice different artificial grass, everyone is very friendly, they do very good work and are always on time. Pricing is fair and everything is done in a timely manner. I would recommend them to anyone who wants artificial grass for their yard. They also sell pieces of it for other things for it to be used for such as house training pups, bird cages, cat runs on them, mini golf course and more. It can be used to get creative with things that no one might think of. He has grass that is cheaper square foot if it is left overs from doing homes or more per square foot if you want it from a brand new roll that the boss can cut it from. I would recommend Chris (Durable lawn ) over any other company. I looked around for a while and he worked with me, so I was able to get it which made my property look beautiful. Everybody I have talk to there is very friendly. Recommend him to anyone who does not want to be taken advantage of.

Extraordinary service and product! Chris and his entire team (in particular Patrick and Steven) recently installed about 1000sf of artificial grass in several areas around our pool. We did the project in two stages. Beautiful work! Product is top of the line, installation and prep was excellent and professional. Chris is a timely, knowledgeable guy and always immediate with his communication (text and voice). He was on the job every work day. All of our requests (cut outs around big trees and small roots) were met without hesitation. Everything is considered thoroughly. Stumps were ground, excavation competed, base applied and detailed, custom drainage was designed and constructed before the grass was installed. Everything in-house. No subs and no request too big. Constant compliments from everyone that sees it. Highly recommended!

Chris and his crew transformed my backyard from an unusable space into a space my whole family can enjoy, including the dogs! I feel that we doubled our homes square footage by being able to use the backyard... and without tracking in dirt or getting our ankles attacked by insects! The artificial turf eliminates dirt and bugs and creates a clean, soft cushion under your feet. We love it!! The crew was professional and made sure the job was done to my satisfaction, even coming back to make adjustments if they had to. During the installation, they went above and beyond to fix several of my patio pavers and create flower bed edges for me out of loose pavers that we could find on the property.
