My lawn went from patchy and full of weeds to thick and lush and weed free- also safer products for my dogs. I also use the mosquito / tick service and no longer treat my dogs with flea and tick toxin (Medicine) and haven t had any issues Call/ text aheads are great !

I was told the service would be $83.00 but was up charged twice without my authorization, the second time it happened I cancelled the service. I refused to pay the extra but they threatened to send me to collections, so I had no choice but to pay it. Unprofessional and ripping off people.

STAY AWAY. I used this company to fertilize my lawn and treat weeds in 2021. I received my bill for 2022, and they raised prices by 22%!!! When I asked the sales rep, he told me the increase was due to inflation. 22% inflation? I have since received quotes from a few other lawn service companies for much less than Lawn Doctor is charging. Save money, and find a better lawn service company in your area.

First time to try them so we will decide longer term after this summer on improvement of my yard. Started out now we see today all business are, sale person is very nice , once you get your invoice and you pays for your service and then dead silence from all, not a word not idea when or if they will come out to start. Granted rain does slow them down. UT one would believe a new customer would be started or called nope Well finally they show up and question answered for me. Their team leader is one person in one vehicle all alone so limited manpower is limited service. Our representative was very nice and seemed to do a good job for first trip, so now we wait I guess no plan, no schedule so well have to see how future service goes improve or lower decline its up to the company to fair its customers not field team. I do wish them luck, I think they should but they need to address their errors and correct them?

I have used Lawn Doctor a couple of years now. Always professional. They keep me informed and do not try to over sell services. I recommend them.

Brendan did a great job of addressing our concerns and treated for weeds present. The company is good at advising what to do to keep a nice lawn. Applied some seeding to front bare spots, but tree roots prevent good growth. Previously had new sod installed on main lawn by another company.

I was a customer for 6+ until recently when Paul decided to be condescending with me. I asked for a courtesy call before my lawn was serviced to make sure it was ready for aeration & seeding. Paul said they don t do that, yet it s been done every time prior. I ask for the boss and Paul said he s the boss, I then asked for the big boss / owner and that s when Paul started to be a jack. After catching his voice I realized who Paul was and why he was doing this to me. Paul damaged lights on my property before and I reported him. This was a get back. Warning TruGreen is a much better choice.

Tried to get an estimate I was placed in a Q with someone in New York. He told me they couldn t help and told me to call the 800 number again. The second time I called I was hung up on because I didn t respond quick enough to her hello. I gave it one more time and was told by the answering service that they were busy. If customer service is to busy for customers, I can t even imagine what it would be like during the season. I ll pass

My husband, Karl, and I, hired Lawn Doctor to do a complete lawn restoration this past fall. They completely tilled my yard and powerseeded. This spring, my lawn looks worse than it did before I hired Lawn Doctor. There are large patches with no grass growth and weeds are scattered everywhere. I wouldn t recommend lawn doctor to any friends, as my lawn looks terrible and I m $1000+ poorer. Wish I could give them less than one star.

Our grass is much thicker and healthier and you use organic materials. We re set up on an auto-pay and auto-service plan and you do a good job of communicating with us regarding the on-going service we receive. Your employees are kind, smart and fun. Feels like a good value.

Bermuda suppression needs to take more time to actually find the bermuda and apply the product to where it is needed.

I have had the best looking lawn in my neighborhood since using Lawn Doctor. Communication regarding upcoming or rendered lawn services is excellent. Lawn doctor has dramatically improved the quality of our lawn on a reasonable budget. We are spending no more then it would cost to purchase chemicals and equipment without the hassle of having to treat the lawn and store everything.

DO NOT USE! We hired Lawn Doctor for the complete lawn restoration in Fall of 2020. After close to $1000 invested this is what we got. We watered, they sent techs that told us we did not water. We watered more. Lawn doctor applied more chemicals to dirt and billed us more. When I asked for a refund I got called names by the company representative. Do yourself a favor and choose some someone else.

Lawn Doctor has brought my lawn back to life. Ive been with lawn doctor for 5 years...going on my 6th year. They have always been very responsive.

I had service with them for 3 seasons. I finally decided to cancel services after my yard became progressively worse over the 3 years. I had violets that I wanted them to specifically address and when it actually got worse the 2nd year, they assured me that they had new ways of combatting it and it would get better. You can probably guess the results. My yard is not that large running in at around .35 acres, however, I do still expect the amount of time to a standard treatment to last more than a few minutes. I have a Ring security system and decided out of curiosity, how long they would take to service my yard. I was shocked from the time they took to ring my doorbell (I was not home) and actually leave after they finished a treatment, they clocked in at 7 minutes on the dot. This literally included time they spent in the van writing up my summary statement. 7 minutes. So actually service on the yard was most likey 4-5 minutes. After the season was over they were trying to sell me service for the following year. I explained what I discovered and without batting an eye, the service manager told me that they are very efficient and has it down to a science where they can service my yard in 5-6 minutes. I respectfully disagree and discontinued service. There were so many other issues that are too long to list.

I have appreciated the lawn service I have received. And thanks to John for explaining things to me. I have missed seeing him the last few times. Is he still with the company. I have a few dandelions popped up in the back yard. the first ones I have seen in my yard since you have been treating it. We have the nice grass in the neighborhood.

My lawn has had only three treatments so far from Lawn Doctor and I already see a big improvement. It takes awhile to get rid of some types of weeds, so gradual improvement is what I hope for. The technician does a good job and I like getting the report card of what they observe each time about the condition of my lawn.

I appreciate that the owner came out and did an extra application to our lawn (without us requesting it) to help kill weeds that had popped up early in the spring.

I switched to Lawn Doctors after TruGreen became too expensive and TruGreen products were becoming ineffective on my lawn. With Lawn Doctor, my lawn is bright green and healthy looking. The only complaint I have is I found some active dandelions in my yard near the street after a couple of treatments which makes me question how effective their product is for that particular weed. I also asked if they had a separate yard spray for fleas and ticks and was told no, just for mosquitos which is not what I want, considering I have cats that go outside. Overall, I am pleased and happy with the way my yard works, and the person who cuts my grass always remarks about the fullness of the yard.

This is the first time using a lawn service. These guys have been very good to work with; I have called and emailed several questions regarding my lawn and they have been very responsive and knowledgeable. My lawn looks terrific and I dont have to worry that its not taken care of properly.

Good service. In past we have maintained our lawn ourselves but we decided to change this year. We do our best to prevent weeds in our yard and this is a huge task when bordered by crabgrass and other weeded yards. Lawn Doctor has done a fair job so far and time will tell if they meet my standards.

I have only used this service since April and am amazed how well the lawn has responded. Our yard was a disaster and it will take time to get the full plush look, but Im confident with time, it will happen. They were very good at setting expectations regarding how long it will take to see improvement, so far they have exceeded my expectations with service and performance.

Lawn Doctor took over our lawn car three years ago, .. and since then it is looking MUCH nicer that it has been since we purchased it in the 80s!! The staff is very professional, .. the products do a great job, .. the cost is reasonable, .. highly recommended!

For a few years up to 2018, I was sure we had the worst lawn in town - many weeds and little grass. For the 2019 season I decided to give Lawn Doctor a try. The Lawn Doctor tech guys always came on schedule and the people in the office were always helpful and responsive. During that first summer, I wasnt really sure how much it was all helping. Nearing the end of the season, I signed up for the aeration and overseeding, and followed all the directions for mowing and watering the new seed as carefully as I could. There was some evidence of new grass in the bare spots, but I was still uncertain about the success of that first year of service. Now in Spring 2020 the lawn is gorgeous! The grass is lush! The weeds are gone! Most of the very shaded bare spots are filling in. I am sincerely delighted with the appearance of my lawn now.

After two visits by Lawn Doctor, I must admit my lawn is noticeably improved. Their employees pay attention to your concerns and act approximately. Good job Lawn Doctor, keep up the good work. Positive

Just moved into a new house. My yard needs some serious help, and my nextdoor neighbor recommended Lawn Doctor as they are who takes care of her perfect looking lawn. The beauty of her yard speaks for itself so I was completely sold and can only hope they can bring mine back to life. Will update to the full 5 stars when I can see a difference, as were only a couple months into treatment.

This yard care company has the right stuff! The staff and field workers friendly and professional. Most importantly after using the service for only one season my yard looks the best it ever has. If you want immediate results when it comes to lawn care, go buy some green spray paint. If you want sustainable results call Lawn Doctor. You ll be glad you did.

Helpful and knowledgeable

I was in my lawn this week, to do some spot-treatment. There was, basically, nothing for me to do. Lawn Doctor is producing results that TruGreen never could. I use them for lawn chems and for bug control. If I send a request for service, there is a Lawn Doctor guy in my yard the next day. Their service has been fantastic. Definitely recommended.

I was very unhappy with the service that I received from lawn Doctor I encountered them in a home and garden show and was told one thing when it came time to service my lawn they made it very difficult for me to work with them on appointment times and payment and when it came time to finish fulfilling their contract they would not honor the original contract that they said in the home and garden show there is no change in my lawn I do not recommend this company with anybody....but if you do a contract with lawn doctors make sure you get everything in writing otherwise they will not honor any agreements made

Two years in a row they put a harsh weed killer down in my front yard that killed most of my grass. Their service technicians have little training and dont know much about lawn care.

This review is for their mosquito service. I utilized their service from April 2019 thru September 2019, every 3 weeks and it did not treat or reduce mosquitos at all. I even got 2 re-sprays in between regular services. Even though their staff is nice and try to accommodate, their mosquito spray service is very ineffective. Save your $350, and spend it somewhere else. We couldnt use our patio entire summer due to mosquitos.

Today they fertilized the wrong yard! And when I checked the application on the wrong yard, you could hardly see any fertilizer granules anywhere. Incompetent !

Weve had 3 lawn companies over the last 15 years and I have to say that Lawn Doctor is by far the best. Our yard has never looked better. They are always so nice if I call about seeing rouge weeds and show up promptly. I would recommend them in a heart beat.

Have used Lawn Doctor the last 2 years and definitely seeing improvements. I know you cant fix a lawn overnight, and it is definitely shaping up to be better. I thought i could handle it myself, and i realize my limitations. Once i priced what it would take for me to go get the stuff, apply it myself doing all the work across all the different things you need to do that LawnDoctor does it became a no brainer. Our lawn was TOTALLY overrun with Wild Violet and Bermuda Grass. We hired Lawn Doctor who came out and personally accessed the grass and gave us multiple options. We decided to use their power seeding and start over with a new lawn. Within the first seven days we started to see new grass and within two weeks our lawn was STUNNING! Not joking - we have SOOO many people stopping by our house (people we dont even know) asking about our lawn and saying how beautiful it is (one person told us they even stopped and felt it because they could not believe it was real grass!) Lawn Doctor is so responsive when I email them with questions. Love, love, love both Kim and Jeremy. Highly recommend Lawn Doctor. Awesome service and the most beautiful grass in Webster!!

We cancelled the service last year but Lawn Doctor returned this year and treated the lawn while we were not home. After repeated calls to the company they have now sent a $58 bill to a collection agency. I recommend NOT doing business with Lawn Doctor.

Last year I had no lawn. This year I have a beautiful lawn with no weed. Best lawn service I have ever had.

I had multiple different types of grasses and tons of weeds throughout my yard. Jeremy came over and established a plan to control all of the weeds and grasses (except the fescue) and to plant new fescue seeds throughout. His staff executed the plan with different applications with careful consideration to timing/seasons/weather. Its been 3 weeks since they aerated/seeded and my yard looks better than it ever has. Its lush, consistent, and green. Jeremy has a plan moving forward to make sure it stays that way. Couldnt be happier.

We have ALWAYS had a very patchy lawn that most of the greenery was weeds. I have spent a fortune on grass seed every season. We have aerated and fertilized, and we have had very healthy weeds! We finally decided to try a company and our neighbor used Lawn Doctor, and their lawn looks good! They came out and evaluated our soil, shade, usage and such. They made recommendations and off we went. I have not had to worry at all this last season. They came as scheduled. Left information and emailed information about each visit. This included what they did, recommendations for what we should do, a watering schedule recommendation and informed us of other services we might be interested in (NEVER a hard sell, just what was available). WE LOVE OUR LAWN! In one season Lawn Doctor has made our lawn something to be proud of! We so appreciate all that they have done to increase our property value, the health of our lawn, the look of our lawn, and the information provided (I have learned A LOT!) My only job is to water, mow, rake and ENJOY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Our experience with Lawn Doctor has been 100% positive. Owners Jeremy and Jessica are incredibly personable, accommodating and accessible. We had always thought that hiring a lawn service company was cost prohibitive but with a flexible pay schedule and a clear, explanatory break down of pricing, we have been able to transform our (mostly weeds) yard over the past two years to a beautiful lawn without feeling a big pinch to our budget. When we have a question or see a problem spot, Jeremy contacts us quickly and usually follows up with a visit to ensure everything is being taken care of. It is rare to find good customer service at an affordable price but that is exactly what Lawn Doctor offers.

We have been using Lawn Doctor for years now and couldnt be more pleased. They have always been reliable and did not suggest unnecessary services (as was the case with other lawn companies weve used). Our lawn continues to look great year after year!

This is our first year with Lawn Doctor and are we ever glad we found them. The last company started this season last year by putting the bill on our door, but did not get out of the truck to do any applications. My husband Kitt is an Agricultural Economics major and was very interested in the Organic treatment they provided and was more delighted when we suggested changes to the standard organic application ingredients and Jeremy simply retooled the process to fit our needs. The results coming out of the drought of the last 2 years was simply incredible. Our house is new, the trees do not produce shade yet and we do not have irrigation. We get a lot of sun and the yard only looked this green once, that was the day they laid the sod. I (Cindy) am writing more specifically about the treatment we got in September when we went ahead at Jeremys suggestion to aerate and over seed the yard. My husband Kitt was at work and the gentlemen doing the application had some questions which I could not answer. He asked if Kitt could be contacted and he did. Together they worked out a plan to reseed some areas that he had put in some soil and mulch to raise up the low spots. The applicator did not think it would work, but it came out very even with the new grass seed. Also the applicator said we had some issues with some plants. He took some pictures and sent them back to the office. Kim from the office called back in 2 minutes and said we had spider mites on some of our plants causing them to turn brown in spots. A plan of action was detailed and Kitt took remedial action. Kitt felt very bad he could not be here that day, but because they took the time to call and help identify some issues, he was overly thrilled to understand the problems. We are definitely staying with Lawn Doctor next year as the Organic treatment simply gets better and better year after year. Kitt suffered a heart attack and double bypass surgery 2 weeks later which caused my delay in getting this typed earlier to you. He is recovering nicely and even watered the yard tonight. This is my second year with Lawn Doctor and they have exceeded all of our expectations. They treat my lawn individually by formulating the fertilization and weed prevention program for my lawn not for just the St.Louis market. Lawn Doctor and is the only one that controls the Nutsedge and all of the other challenging weeds we have in St. Louis. What I really like about them is you dont have to chase after them to show up in the spring to start your lawn or the fall for aeration and over seeding. It is the little things they do like call you to make sure you are satisfied. Every early spring my phone rings, mailers are sent to me and flyers left at my door by other lawn care companies that quote me lower prices. I have used some of them over the past 20 years and as they say, you get what you pay for. Now my call in the spring is to review my next year lawn care program for my lawn.

The Lawn Doctor completely revitalized my yard! I had used another lawn fertilizer company for several years and unfortunately, my lawn went from bad to really bad. So I decided to find another company. The Lawn Doctor to the rescue.....my yard has never looked so good. They analyzed the soil and used organic fertilizer specific to my lawn. The Lawn Doctors knowledge and customer service is second to none. If you want a beautiful green lawn, I would only recommend this great company.

I have had trouble spots with my lawn since I moved to this house 8 years ago. I had Bermuda grass taking over the front yard. I had been using another lawn company and the patches of Bermuda grass continued to grow until it was covering almost half of my yard. I had been told that there was nothing that cold be done about it because it always comes back. This past year I hired Lawn Doctor. Kim and Jeremy had a plan to fix my yard. With their expertise, they were able to kill the Bermuda grass (scary for about a month) and now I have a beautiful full lawn of green lush grass, no more of the scraggily patches of Bermuda! I am thrilled with it because it looks great! I have had neighbors stop and ask about it. But the biggest compliment, I think, was when a local landscaper asked who fixed my lawn. He said he was really impressed with the transformation. Lawn Doctor went above and beyond with telling me what to expect and answering all of my questions. Their service is fantastic. The only surprise was how quickly it took for my yard to look great!

I have used Lawn Doctor for only about 7 months now but Im extremely happy with the results that I have seen in my lawn. I love the fact that they use organic fertilizers and have an extremely knowledgable staff. Their service and knowledge is second to none and I plan on having them perform some of their other services on my lawn especially their grub control to help me combat my mole problem.
