We had a concrete patio that we needed replaced. Done Right did an amazing job both with demolition of the old and removal to a beautifully finished new patio. Wider steps leading out the sliding door. Top notch workers. They really know their craft. Had the pleasure with working with Corey, the project manager who was extremely thoughtful and an expert in his field.

I ve been trying to refrain on writing a negative review in hopes they would eventually rectify our issues but at this point I feel like I ve exhausted all avenues. We had a retaining wall placed last fall. The initial work was okay, no real complaints. There were a few things that I feel were overlooked but our crew supervisor fixed them at that time with the exception of the sidewalk. During work, their machinery cracked and broke our sidewalk which we were told would get fixed within a few days. A few days turned in to next spring due to having our job done in the fall. Come Spring, we noticed a few things that needed to be fixed with our wall so we reached out to Done Right asking to schedule it to be fixed in addition to the sidewalk. We were told someone would get ahold of us to schedule. It is now almost September. We have emailed, we have called and nothing is being done. Our emails, nor our calls are being responded to. I m extremely frustrated and disappointed in the lack of customer service. At this point, based on my experience, I would absolutely not recommend.

Armando and his crew are fantastic!!! They take pride, are meticulous, and care for the customer. They ask you questions to make sure you are happy!!! I highly recommend them!!!

I will begin by saying that I have never written a review, but I felt compelled to do so for this project. I struggled between a 4 or 5 Star rating, but I absolutely LOVE the results of my project, which is what i think ultimately matters. (New block retaining walls and new concrete patios and sidewalks) Juan and his crew were meticulous in building our new walls....Juan took the time to stop and ask questions to make sure things were being done correctly. These guys work so very hard in 100 degree heat. Jose was on the concrete side and was outstanding. You could tell that he cared about his work being done correctly. By far, Corey Olson, the concrete PM was my lifeline and savior for this entire project. Corey made my husband and me feel like we mattered and our project was important. He was only supposed to be the concrete PM, but he ended up being an overall PM for us. Corey is an outstanding employee for Done Right and an outstanding human being. Now, let me explain a few things if you are looking to hire Done Right for your project: Initially you will be sent a salesman to come to your home to walk through what you would like to have done. He will take notes and take pictures. He will then send you a quote with a drawing showing your project. They key here is to CAREFULLY look at the drawing before proceeding. I found that just because I told him what I envisioned, that he envisioned it the same way. Not true.....you have to really look at what they are proposing and make sure it meets what you really want. This drawing gets used completely throughout the project and if they are not correct in the beginning, it can cause chaos by the end of the project. There is a communication issue within this company that I think they are working on. They provide you with a Concrete PM and a Landscape PM.....unfortunately our Landscape PM quite a day after we met with him. They did not inform me, I found out when I called looking for him. To be fair, he quit and I called the next morning. They sent another Landscape PM that we met with one time and then never saw him again. This is where Corey, our Concrete PM, had to take over because there was no other communication. I did put a call in to the owner, Adam. I really didnt think he would call me back, but to my surprise, he did. That made me extremely happy. He let me vent to him and he apologized and did take care of things after the conversation. I would recommend Done Right Landscape to anyone, but I would also caution them to be completely on top of their own project. I do LOVE the finished product that I have!

Hired this company to do some landscaping around our house. It took them a while to come out to do the job. There was a lack of communication between management and Team Leaders as well as from Team Leaders to workers. I spent way more time outside communicating to the workers what was suppose to be done than I should have had to. They would in turn call the team leader to ask if I was correct and if they should do what I was saying. The team leader would eventually show up for 5 or 10 minutes and be on his way. No one was actually on sight overseeing the job. The workers worked very hard. Only one could speak English so he is the one I tried to communicate with. He would tell me they were not told to do something and would call the team leader to ask permission to do it. Eventually the Team Leader came back to my house and we walked around the entire property with their own video of the project (from our initial meeting) and it proved what I had been telling the workers to do was actually correct. Something management had overlooked in the video therefore didn t communicate it to the workers. This company needs better communication and management. After the work was finally completed it was satisfactory. The score is based on lack of leadership and communication.

Did good work but poor follow up once you have paid the final bill. Trying to get plants replaced that died and they are extremely difficult to get a hold of.

My wife and I are super happy with the outcome of our retaining wall we had installed. Armando and his brothers were very professional, very friendly, very knowledgeable, and helped every chance they had with any questions we had. The project lead, Shawn, kept us up to date on everything and Mark our bidder was very friendly as well. This company did a fantastic job, thank you so much!

Chad Nasal and Brendan did an awesome job on my sprinkler install. They were professional, worked around the raining days, and ensured that had the proper the setup for worked yard and needs! I had a very good experience with Done Right Landscapes. My project started out small, but the scope kept growing as I added more and more to the project.. It turned into a fairly significant project. Mark from Done Right walked us through the process with good suggestions and was helpful keeping things to our budget amount. Some time ago my wife and I decided to have our yard landscaped. Living on the side of a steep hill caused water runoff problems that needed to be addressed. A neighbor used Done Right to landscape their yard and attend to runoff problems they were having. After seeing the quality of work Done Right did for our neighbor we knew we wanted the same quality and beautiful decorative work for our yard. We contacted Done Right, explained what we needed, and they sent a representative to view our yard and offer a variety of plans that would meet our needs. We chose to have three large textured concrete walls and two concrete patios constructed. We also had a large fire pit placed between the two walls. The walls were designed to alleviate our water runoff problems. The patios were designed to move water away from our home. The Done Right crews sent to our home are true professionals. Their work is not only beautiful, it is amazing. Our hats are off to Corey, Luis, and Jose who are three skilled landscape artists who made our dreams come true. Our home needed new sod, reworked plant beds, shrub removal, and irrigation system upgrade. Our salesman, Mike Nelson helped us to design a plan that would update our lawn and landscape design. Project Manager, Sean Olsen explained the process from design to final walk through and even accommodated us with a few minor changes along the way. The landscape team coordinated the timing of our project with Chad Nasalroad from their irrigation division as he worked to install water saving components to our irrigation system. We have called several companies for estimates on a project we are wanting to do. Done Right was the first company to respond. Bailey was very informative regarding the entire process, before and after the work is done. We have seen several of their completed projects and are very impressed with their work and timelines. When we decide the extent of what we want done, they will be the company we hire!

I am sorry and disappointed to say that we are done with Done Right Landscaping. When they installed an underground drainage system for us a couple years back, they were very responsive, and the work was of good quality. About 2 months back, however, we had an issue during a heavy storm, wherein the underground system backed up and came through our window wells, causing water to pour into our basement, and onto some new drywall/construction. For the last 7-8 weeks we have tried to be in contact with DRL, and several times were told that someone would be out to assess and address the issue. But that has never happened, even after we were told by the production manager that he would personally come out today. Many promises were made by DRL, and all of them were broken. The message I get from that is we care about you when you are ready to sign the installation contract and pay us the big dollars, but as far as follow-up and warranted maintenance, you can forget about it. My advice to anyone reading this is to tread very cautiously with this company. Ongoing customer service is clearly NOT a priority to them.

Done Right installed a small retaining wall for us and some edging along the front of our house. Their pricing was much more reasonable compared to some other quotes I received. I wasn t sure if that meant the quality of work would be lesser but I m happy with the final result. Our project kept getting pushed back due to rain over the course of a couple weeks. So the heavy stone pallets they left on part of our yard ended up killing the grass underneath. Done Right put new sod down afterwards which I appreciated.

Done Right Landscapes did a great job replacing an old patio with a new, much larger patio as well as new plant beds creating a whole new landscape for our backyard. Comparing bids and reviews we were thrilled with our choice at a much, much lower price than competitors without sacrificing quality. I cannot say enough about their crew. They were extremely hard working, kind and professional. Their work was impeccable. We will definitely use the company again if we have future needs.

I was able to utilize Doneright for a very large, multi property design and implement project. At the time I had no idea how to do the design, what to plant, or how it should look at all. After having the opportunity to talk to their specialist, I was overly impressed with the customer service, and creativeness that I would have never thought of. Not only did they get the project done on time, they actually finished early and came in under budget. I m a strong believer, and you pay for what you get, and they were worth every penny. I would highly recommend them to anyone out there with small to large projects!!!

Excellent quality work!

For how expensive this was, the quality of the work and communication from the PM wasnt great. There were four issues after completion that we had to have the landscaper foreman fix because the PM did a poor job of communicating the project requirements. The PM did a walkthrough to scope out work and there were several design items that we still needed to work out. Rather than ensure they were addressed, they just had their automated system send multiple emails that said everything was good to go. When they scheduled the job, we reached out to ask about when we could resolve those open questions, and the PM never contacted us. We asked about whether a client should be onsite during the job and never got clear communication from them. They then just showed up at a random time and expected us to be available. Fortunately the landscape foreman did a great job and resolved all the issues (that were preventable). We did like how the retaining walls turned out, but the edging was so-so. They barely inserted the edging into the ground so we are worried that this wont be a great barrier against weed/grass growth. The beds they prepped, they just threw a little topsoil on top of the grass (grass roots and sod liners were left in majority of the beds). We are going to have to do a lot of work and mulching to keep the grass from taking over. Also upon completion of the job, they left all the leftover stones on pallets in the yard with no communication on how to handle this. We reached out to the PM to ask about this and requested that we keep some of the edging but didnt want to large stones. He said theyd schedule someone to come pick them up. No one ever showed up. I contacted the PM again to request pickup and was ignored. My recommendation would be to hold off the final payment until you are sure you are happy with the outcome as well as removal of excess materials. I wish we could have just worked directly with the landscape foreman and cutout the PM middle man. With all the landscapers weve used in St. Louis, the PM is always the one that tends to cause issues with the job. Thus, before signing a contract, consider requesting to interview/select your PM.

My rating is about the poor online proposal system of this company, not the representative that came to my residence. I really appreciated his great personality, kindness and honesty. Unfortunately, the companys online job proposal template is more general in nature and does not accommodate revisions for specific details of the job or the language to the contract itself, which puts me into a vulnerable position after agreeing to a proposal that includes a significant down payment. My representative contacted the owner which made no difference. This is not how I would do business, so let this serve as a warning to those of you want details addressed prior to agreeing to a general contract that includes a down payment. BTW. I decided to go with a company that does business like the good old days.

Communication within the company is poor. The company presents you with a road map for product completion. The road map stated that we we receive a pre-walk prior to our start date. Two weeks after initial payment, we came home to our yard flagged by dig-rite, but yet we had no pre-walk and never heard from the company. I had to call and was told on a Thursday that work would begin Monday. The work itself, done by Daniel and Walter, was spectacular. They are the ones that give this company a good name. Work has been completed now for 2 weeks. I had a bush installed instead of a tree. Sean told us that the tree would be replaced the following day. A week later that has not happened and have received NO communication. When you are paying thousands of dollars for a service, a customer should not have to chase down employees for answers/communication. Still have not had my bush replaced for the tree that was in the bid/proposal. Would not recommend to others. Update: company reached out 2 hours after initial post and bush was replaced with the proposed tree.

Done Right tore out a portion of a brick wall that was bowing and installed a retaining wall. The workers were great and friendly. When cutting the brick there was damage done to a portion of the wall that was not supposed to be affected. They had to tear that out and put up some brick which resulted in us having to pay for that. But overall, I would recommend Done Right.

I am very pleased with the services I received from Done Right. I have hired the company to regrade about 10,000 sf in my house back yard. They knocked it out in two days. They also accommodated my scrutiny for something that was not done to my expectation, and they corrected it, at no additional charge. I also noticed that they have done above and beyond services, that I am very pleased with. It is fitting to mention that they left a clean site, despite the 50 yard of top soil they hauled in. They gave me a fair price, not the lowest I got, not the highest either. I hired them as a first timer, and I would hire them again. There is one thing that I would suggest that they could improve on, that is keeping the client informed about the schedule. I will not give them a three star just because of this though. In 2020 I hired Done Right Landscape to add a retaining wall, and recover the height of my eroding back yard. They also installed a drainage system to keep the erosion from reoccurring. Some other cosmetic additions were installed. The project was finished with sod installation. The crew was amazing and a great bunch of guys. They were efficient, on time, kept the area in order and organized, and were careful not to damage other areas of the yard. One of the best experiences we have had!

I have used Done Right twice for retaining wall installation, backyard grading and later sod installation. I have found them very easy to work with and very reasonable priced. They did excellent work and maintained a clean work area the entire time. I would recommend them to anyone for landscape work!

Contracted with them to give me a usable backyard and address the drainage problem. They did a tremendous job, ran a pipe under the ground, built a wall, flattened out the backyard. I now have a beautiful space. The workers were on time, did a great job and finished it as they said they would, and on time. I highly recommend Adam, Jerry and the crew for any landscaping needs.

We had an old retaining wall removed and replaced. We also had a sidewalk installed. Job was completed on time and completed as promised. The supervisors were helpful and easy to work with. I heartily recommend Done Right Landscapes for jobs of this type.

They did a very good job. Placement of plants and shrubs complement the space. Rerouted the drains from the roof into the yard and it has worked really well.

Have you ever thought about building your own retaining wall in your backyard? Dont do it. Call someone. Call Done Right. I tried calling other companies in St. Louis, and none of them would answer the phone, return a call, or even reply to an email. Done Right was the first company who did, and they were fast. I started working with Mark to develop a plan for a wall in our backyard to fix an erosion problem caused by the neighbors property behind us. Mark created the plan, gave me the estimate, and then I sat on it for about two months, waffling on whether I wanted to go forward with it or not. The whole time, there was absolutely zero pressure from Mark or anyone at Done Right to get moving, which I greatly appreciated. Once I finally decided to proceed, Mark was ready to help me continue and to do so without raising the price. Mark got me connected with Mike, the project manager, and I got introduced to the coolest/nicest/friendliest site manager, Armando, who, along with his crew, got our vision turned into a reality. The work crew was consistent and didnt change like Ive seen with other projects Ive had done from other companies, and they were nice to my daughter (and even called her by her name when they saw her), which got huge bonus points. They were awesome, even helping me in a separate part of the yard by dumping some of the dirt being removed for the hill into some low spots from previously removed trees. There were delays in completing the wall, but it was due to Mother Nature, not by the workers or the company. They focused on completing my project when it was safe for them and for their equipment (and for the health of my own yard) and completed the wall even when it was in the dead of winter. These guys went above and beyond, giving me an option to change the steps built into the wall from being made out of the same stone to being long, thick, single-piece rock steps (see the photo) that are much less likely to budge, and it looks beautiful! At least seventeen full dump truck loads of dirt were removed, hundreds of block meticulously were placed and secured, and 2000 square feet of sod were laid for this project. The length of this wall is over 100 feet, and the highest point is around 15 feet. My advice: DO NOT attempt this on your own. Hire the professionals at Done Right to get this kind of project done right for you. They handled all the paperwork and permitting for us, saving us a lot of time and headache. My wife and I are already planning our next project to have them do for us, and we will gladly welcome them back. Oh, and if youre interested in the color andn type of block we used, its Versa Lok Standard Timberwood Blend in the tumbled variety to give it a more weathered look.

The service person was professional, performed the services quickly and because of that I signed an irrigation contract with Done Right. After telling my neighbor about it, he also signed up with them.

We used Done Right Landscapes for under deck pavers, which connect to the swimming pool deck. We couldnt be happier with the results, as they fixed the drainage along with creating a ton of beautiful, usable space. What can I say, other than they live up to their name! Highly recommended A++

I had an old stone retaining wall of 55 years, which was literally crumbling and needed to be replaced. I had several companies come out and provide estimates. Done Right, however, provided the estimate along with all of the detailed information to complete the project. Everything that I discussed with Adam Rose, our DRL Consultant, was included in the bid. And I liked the idea of describing the various steps towards how the project was going to be completed. We were all on the same page, materials were ordered and the project was completed. I was impressed how professional Jeremiah, Raul and Joshua got the job done. At the beginning of each day, we huddled for a few minutes, discussed progress and went to work. The new retaining wall is beautiful and functional. The work exceeded my expectations. It was a real job to demo the old wall, but the team did it. I could not have done it myself; no way!. And the choice of stone compliments the rest of my house. I am impressed with the courtesy and pride DRL takes in the work they do. I highly recommend Done Right Landscapes!

I hired Done Right landscaping to help with my drainage problem. The work was completed right before a massive amount of rain hit our area. The heavy equipment used to repair one side of the yard caused ruts in the opposite side of the yard. The seed and straw did not hold up during massive rains we incurred right after the work. Not only did they return once, but twice to fix, a new drainage problem that I incurred! Done right was not the cheapest bid but I believe they were worth every cent because they worked with me until the work was truly done right! I would hire them again!

We used them to rebuild a retaining wall, fix all flower beds and edging. They also built a seating wall on our patio, removed a diseased tree and added new landscape fabric and rock to all beds. This is the company Ive been looking for. From the guy that was sent out to give a bid, to the project manager and the 3 man crew that did the work, it was professional all the way. They excel at communication. Giving daily texts as to what was done that day to what they will be doing the next day. Also, a daily visit from the project manager to address any concerns. The team of guys I had were fantastic! Shout out to Antonio and his crew! They arrived every day early and ready to work. We were home the entire time so I was able to see the workmanship myself. The attention to detail blew me away. I could not be happier with the outcome. When it was time to clean up they did such a good job you would not have known they were here. I have had so many bad contractors in the past but this company blew me away. I hope they keep doing what they are doing because it works. They arent the cheapest but I feel they were worth every penny. Would definitely hire them again. Thanks for doing such a good job for us!

Your representatives are unprofessional to say the least. First, your employee Adam shows up to my house for a quote and instead of getting out of his car to ring the door bell, he has Bailey from your office to call me. I tell her Im aware and ready to discuss my backyard, he just needs to get out of his car and introduce himself. For the next 15 mins, he does not move. He sits in his car the whole time. I opened my garage after 15 mins and started my car. Still nothing, no movement from this employee. So I got in my car and left the house after he sat in front of it for well over 20 mins. Thats fine, I have other professional companies quoting the desired work. Then 5 mins after leaving I get a call from Jessica who gets frustrated because I didnt go get Adam from him car. She proceeds to say that he can arrive anywhere up to an hour after the scheduled appointment even though hes sitting in front of the house. I then ask her if that was my responsibility as a potential customer to get him from his car and she hung up with no response. Great work team! Glad I left, obviously this isnt the right business for us to deal with. With a $4,500 minimum project required for you guys to work Id expect a more professional experience from the start.

Project was to build a large retaining wall and beach area at our lake house. The results are better than expected and the process of working with Done Right was excellent. They checked in often and let us know what to expect, and they accommodated our requests. Very positive experience all around.

Done Right Landscaping always does a beautiful job! They landscaped our front yard two years ago and everything looked so good that we called them back to make our backyard look more cozy with bushes, low trees, and a few talker trees. It looks amazing! We couldn t be happier!! Positive

Work was done last August 2022. Backyard wall and step installed. Turned out Beautiful! Front/Side Yard Grading with sod. Turned out terrible! Top soil not applied properly- drainage issues in low lying areas, lawn very lumpy with dips; hard to mow in a straight line because grass/sod and top soil were not installed even; turf and soil contact poor throughout yard. Patches of dead grass and spreading. Grass in backyard that was from (grass seed) was poor quality, awful- like straw, turning brown and sparse. Right after we had work done with Done Right Landscapes we hired a Lawncologist Pro that Done Right suggested and are still using them- June 2023. We have watered properly and followed all instructions from Done Right from the beginning and are following through with the Lawncologist. Sod designed and installed by your company, as well as grass seed is not eye catching, aesthetically pleasing, and functional as you claim in the contract. Very disappointed with the sod/grass yard work by Done Right. Would not recommend.

There are no traffic jams on the extra mile. Zig Ziglar Done Right Landscapes has certainly gone the extra mile to make sure our patio was done right! Sales Rep Tyler McCorkle and Project Manager Mike Nelson helped us feel comfortable getting the enormous job started to revamp of our backyard and turn unused soggy grass into multiple festive usable areas. The project was begun and completed in Fall 2022. Walter was the lead for our project crew and repeatedly proved to be worth his weight in gold! As with all landscaping jobs, there were on-the-fly decisions to be made and Walter s experience and love for doing things right showed every time as he guided us. In Spring of 2023, under the one-year hardscape warranty, we called Mike out to see the super sand between our paver stones did not harden or perform as he had promised. He contacted the vendor who came out from Kansas City to help install (and train Mike s crew!) on a new sand product that performed exactly as promised. Going forward, we have high praise for Done Right Landscapes and will recommend them to our friends and family in the future. We hope you can see the pics, but they still do not show how fabulous our patio is and how much we love it.

I do not recommend this company. I hired them for new lawn and landscaping, the main reason is I had bumpy lawn and water log. They brought top soil, god knows from where, all full of weeds, its all weeds than grass, they clearly do not know what they are doing, I had to pull lot of weeds, which created lot of holes in the lawn, lot of manual work, still again lawn full of weeds, I am sure I have to redo my lawn again. Still there is water log. I regret I picked this company based on google reviews, my bad, I had other companies who are willing to do 1/4 of the cost I paid to them, now lawn is bumpy again with almost all holes in lawn. Learning is not to completely believe in google reviews, go with quote s which is cheaper.

Our landscaping project was completed in an excellent manner by Done Right Landscaping. Mark provided a very good virtual layout , we particularly enjoyed how he took our suggestions into consideration. The project manager, Mike, is very accessible and kept us informed as work progressed. Despite a little delay brought on by the weather, they caught up and finished the job on schedule. Really enjoyed our experience having Done Right Landscapes help build a walkway from our patio with stairs down a steep hill in our backyard. They helped transform something that was a hazard for us into something beautiful. I was really impressed with how communicative they were, as the project manager and staff reached out to us daily while the project was going on with updates and what to expect next. They are a little pricier than some of the other companies we had come out and give estimates, but their level of service made it worth it.

Id personally never hire them again. We bought our home knowing our backyard needed to be redone. They came in and discussed removing old sand and rocks in the backyard and replacing it with soil and planting seed. Our project manager was Jeremiah who I later found out was new. The project was completed and Jeremiah came by for a final walkthrough. I explained to him that the sand was supposed to be removed and there were clearly spots that werent. He brushed it off and didnt offer a solution so I figured I d just fix it myself since he wouldnt, and reach out to the company. I spoke to them numerous times and could not get a call back from any manager regarding my problem. After 2 weeks I finally got ahold of someone and was told they could reimburse me for the extra supplies that I had to buy but that was all. I was also told Jeremiah was new and unfortunately we were the guinea pigs for him and he learned a lot from us. I dont believe I should be a guinea pig for a company while spending thousands of dollars. This was all done I believe in March and we are still trying to fix what they didnt. I am upset by their lack of help and wish they would have fixed their mistakes. The picture posted is of the sand they were supposed to remove. They planted grass seed over all of this sand.

Done Right was very professional and good at communications. We hired them to fix some drainage areas in our yard and then sod some areas after. The sod and landscaping was good but the drainage system was not buried correctly and it pushed up out of the ground within 2 years. They informed us it is out of warranty and that we could get an estimate on doing the job again. I was not inclined to hire them to do the same job twice.

Professional and friendly

The company is true to its name. I had a positive experience with everyone I worked with, from my first interaction to the finished product. I needed a few changes to a walkway after it was complete and the team was gracious about it and happily returned to make it right the very next day, for which we were very impressed. The project manager communicated clearly and stayed in touch the entire time the job was in progress and the finished job looks fantastic. We will use them again.

I was very satisfied at first but then a couple of my plants died. I reached out and sent pictures and always was told someone would get back with me. No one ever did. I called 4 or 5 times wanting to make sure I was within the year of my warranty. Never heard anything. Will never use them again.

I really wished we could have went with this company. The gentleman they sent out to look at our yard was so helpful. The price was very affordable, we just didn t have the money due to us just having purchased the home.

Armando and his team were very professional. They made sure any mud or debris was cleaned up each day. He genuinely wanted to make my project just as I wanted, especially because it was a unique design. I had a couple of hiccups with the company, but they were quick to have a resolution. Recently had landscaping remodel and drainage installed by Done Right. Everything looks fabulous. Once the crew got started, it went relatively smooth. The crew was very nice, respectful, and left everything cleaned up well. Will say lacking a 5/5 due to responsiveness prior to start as well as lack of communication amongst their team. Very slow to respond to emails/communication in general. Added plants at pre-walk, this was not communicated and was missing at project start. Luckily they were able to work it out quickly. Overall has a good experience, but better communication would have made it even better.

I have had the opportunity to be a client of Done Right Landscapes on two occasions and have found them to extremely professions. They have the old school work ethics from start to finish. Our project was completed during the Summer of 2023. Adam listened to our ideas, making suggestion, and planned our project and created the budget. The lighting really enhances the landscaping. John was able to install a booster pump to increase our water pressure, which prior to pump was low. Everyone from Done Right Landscapes was friendly, professional and willing to listen to our questions and concerns. Communication was very good, everyone was just a phone call or a text away. Our project was completed on time and on budget. There were no hidden charges or surprises. I strongly recommend that you consider Done Right Landscapes for your project. We liked Done Right Landscapes so much were are working with them to renovate our backyard.

Three guys knocked out our project in less than 4 days of work. We were shocked at the speed and quality of work by Armando, Ernesto, and Rogelio. The quote process was clear and simple - they were patient with our questions and requests. The only thing we would have preferred is more of a heads up when they were starting and progress updates along the way. If not each day, then just a general estimate for each step would have kept us from guessing what was coming next or when weather delays might be coming. They were very responsive and communicative about everything else and like I said, the job was done very quickly. We are very satisfied with the quality of work and the overall turnout. The experience has left us re-imagining what else is possible with our yard and how we might sign these guys up for another project in the future. Highly Recommend!

Team did a very good job with grading and sod installation to improve drainage. They were on time and easy to work with. Yard looks good, but job was done in January and we havent had the big rains to see if all problems are solved. They still have plants to install once we get to spring. Only complaint is that they didnt have a project manager come out to explain the details to the workers (and myself) what they were to do, so there was some confusion in getting started. Seems like I was supposed to be the project manager.

This is the second time we ve used Done Right Landscapes for our home and have had the most wonderful experience with them. Their services cover everything imaginable for your landscaping needs. Our job included Landscape Design and Installation, Drainage Work and Retaining Wall Repair. Done Right s expert design team worked closely together and did everything possible to accommodate our every wish. Our salesman was Cody who helped us with our plant selections and provided us with an estimate. Mike and Raul were Project Managers and did a complete walk through before installation. When the job was complete, Mark came over the following day for a final walk through to be sure that everything was exactly as we expected. It was perfect! These guys are professional and know how to get the job Done Right! The team that worked on our project arrived bright and early and completed the job at dusk. Yes, all in one day! Our team of 3 men where amazing! Their expertise is above and beyond. If they had any questions they were sure to get me involved so the results were on point. I have no idea how they could do all that they did in one day. Carlos was the team lead and was so helpful because he spoke great English and was able to communicate to the other workers. What a gentleman he was. So respectful and accommodating. His team included Rosendo & Fabian (not sure of the spelling) who worked as hard as Carlos did. They left our premise immaculate. I needed service on a complex irrigation system in which I draw water through pipes which run from the lake. Chad Nasalroad, the Irrigation Manager and Technician for Done right Landscapes, was extremely efficient, professional, and knowledgeable. He quickly installed the necessary parts and then walked me through the operation of the system, answering all my questions on how to program my sprinkler system controller on and off, setting the date and time, and specifying frequency of watering lawn, which I previously had trouble with programming. I was very impressed with his knowledge and skills plus his positive attitude. He is truly an asset to Done Right Landscapes. I have also used Done Right Landscapes for landscaping services and can testify that they truly live up to their name everything is Done right and at a reasonable price.

Just finished a large landscaping job including new bed with rocks and plants in the front yard, brick walkway in the back, flagstone walking path on the side, dry riverbed to solve an erosion problem, sprinkler system, and new sod. Adam, Mark, and the Done Right team not only offered a variety of solutions for our drainage problems, but they provided a concrete pad and a much needed face-lift to our side yard by converting it to a patio with a firepit and raised garden bed. This work was done quickly, efficiently, and communication/customer service was top-notch. I can not recommend this company enough.

Done Right Landscapes extended our existing drainage pipes to the back of our property, near a wooded area, and installed new pop up drains. They placed grass seed and straw over the extended lines. The workers used some of the excess soil to fill in areas of erosion near the pop up drains. The workers were professional and friendly. The project was completed in a few hours.

Done Right Landscapes replaced our drainage from our gutters to go under the new patio we had installed. They were here when they said they would be, and actually did more than we expected in regards to materials. They came back after the patio was cured to add the sitting wall. They were here yesterday (in record heat temperatures with heat index to 110 degrees) and finished this morning. They made a few tweaks for us to make sure we loved the final product.

Decided after many years of updating our landscaping. Mark came out gave us and reasonable price and we started about 3 1/2 later. Raul, Jose, Oscar were exceptional artist in their field. My Husband was so surprised at how wonderful our tired looking landscaping was revitalized. Family came in for Granddaughters graduation party. They all loved it. My hat is off to Done Right as to pick the right crew for our needs.

Bid was promised 3 times. Never received it.

After seeing a couple landscaping projects installed by Done Right Landscapes in our neighborhood we decided to get a bid from them for our home. We needed our old landscape stones removed and replaced with an upgraded wall and stones more to our liking. Done Right responded quickly to our request and we came to an agreement on design and price after which the work started in a timely manner. Our crew, Armando, Ernesto and Rogelio took the time to ensure that all materials were to our liking and matched what we selected before starting the work. They obviously take great pride in their work and performed the installation in accordance with the comprehensive plan presented by Done Right to us before work started. Armando would occasionally ask us if their work was to our liking as they progressed and would bounce ideas off us pertaining to minor changes that needed to be made to facillitate existing utility entrances etc. Our salesperson, Cody Roderique and project manager Mike Nelson took great pains to ensure that everything was done to our satisfaction. We are very pleased with the outcome and will certainly take advantage of Done Right Landscapes variety of services in the future.

Work done. 80ft Retaining wall around pool, planting bed on side of house with brick boarder and sod. Relevel entire back yard and seed. Take out the multiple truck loads of dirt from the pool dig. From the very beginning this was by far my best experience with a company. From the beginning everything went smooth. From the initial meeting to discuss design and the scope of work to the last block and sod laid down, done right, does it right. Communication is constant and when something needs to be discussed you can actually reach out and get them on the phone. The crew that was here for a week was beyond impressive. They worked non stop and knew how to get the job done right. When I had a couple changes there was no argument or complaining. They immediately jumped on it. Mark did a great job working with me to update my quote in a timely manor. He also made suggestions on landscape and draining. Done Right did an excellent job of landscaping our front yard flower beds! I highly recommend them for any projects you want done in your yard! Adam Rose drew up the design with the plants I wanted and added lighting to the front of the house as well as brick borders along the front of the garden. The crew, Eleazar, Santiago and Ivan, did a very professional job and worked very hard to make the garden look just the way we wanted it! They cleaned the sidewalk, driveway and street when they were done and you did not see any dirt or debris anywhere. Ryan put in the lighting and was very detailed so that the lights would shine perfectly on our house. Every person we talked to, Mike, Sean and Cody, were pleasant and desired to make sure we were very happy with the finished product! Done Right is a great company to work with and they went to great measures to make sure we were happy with everything they did!

I use Done Right as a sub for irrigation services on a lot of my HOA and Condos. They are professional and knowledgeable. Chad is great to work with.

Office/Management does not communicate with crew or client. A four day job took ten months. No one seems to know what is going on. Poor quality of work performed with no management follow up. I would not recommend this company.

THE BAD NEWS: Done Right Landscapes began my project on 9-6-22. It was finally completed on 10-12-22. Much of the frustration of seeing this job completed was that the company representative who drew up the plans was no longer with the company once I decided to go with DRL. Instead, four other men were placed in charge of the job one at a time. This made communication difficult. The original design was never followed. I was lied to by the crew members. I had to fight to get the desired reimbursement for not getting the agreed upon color of rock. I had to have several discussions with the workmen to have a wall built to the correct level so that the planter boxes would be appropriate for planting. I made the mistake of not having EVERYTHING written down that was desired to be accomplished, so that what I said was often forgotten or dismissed. THE GOOD NEWS: Done Right Landscapes staff is very polite. They continued to work with me to complete the landscaping to satisfy me. When the step tread looked too small and even dangerous, they took out the steps and replaced them with very wide, more attractive and strong ones. I had asked that the dirt generated from the digging be placed around my house. Since this original dirt was hauled away they made sure to put clean dirt around my house so that pollutants would not be brought in. After countering my request twice for a given amount of reimbursement for the wrong color of rocks, they met me with the dollar amount asked for. Due to the fact that they did not keep their word in completing the job according to the original design, they added more blocks than they had planned to in order to make the final outcome satisfying to my original intent. And during the final walkthrough, I was given a sincere apology for the way things went. You can see for yourself that my review matches only about 7-10 percent of those given. Evidently, the company was enduring some unexpected and unusual snags, and this took place during the period of time when my project was being worked on. But Done Right Landscapes kept their word and worked on my landscape until it met my needs and wishes. At the end of the day, I would go with Done Right Landscapes again. But I would wait until their company was out of the readjustment period.

Cody in the office, Mike the project mgr, and the crew who did the work were great to work with; friendly, professional, and responsive to questions/concerns. We had a resting wall that they reconstructed to allow water to properly drain. They will be returning in the spring to address an issue with a water feature. I recommend them without reservation.

Mark and Sean were great to work with, going above and beyond with their communication and knowledge of our project. They helped us fix our drainage issues with underwater PVC piping, sodding some areas where trees were, and even seeding in areas that were lacking grass. I am giving Done Right high marks for the quality of our project.the craftsmanship from their crews is really good. The crew, Armando and Luis would pause and ask questions if they felt something wasn t right, needed confirmation or had a better way. We had a lot of stonework from retaining wall, fire pit, island and concrete extension, salvaging trees and irrigation. It was important to stay close and pay attention to details as you have a vision and that has to be translated so that both parties understand so taking the time is with it to ensure you are getting what you desire. This is where the team was open and accommodating as they wanted to ensure we were pleased, and if it didn t seem how i imagined they were open to rework until it was correct. Adam and Mike were always professional and helpful. As you can anticipate there were a few unknown lengthy delays that took our project much longer than originally expected and recommendation for them is to stay ahead of communicating to the customer to set expectations appropriately. Our frustration in length of time was more due to having a pool area exposed due to concrete delay which lengthened our time by several weeks, which might have been good to hear from the owner when it was out of the teams control. In the end I would still recommend their work as top notch and would use them again for complex projects.

Fast forward to 2021 and I contracted with them to extend the wall and expand the patio. To be honest, this latest effort did not meet my expectations. But after I shared my concerns, they sent their crew back out and addressed every issue, no questions asked. The new addition is now a seamless extension of the old patio. Done Right Landscaping put in a catch basin for us to help remove the excess water from our yard. They were aways extremely professional and punctual. When we signed the contract, the provided us an estimate of being able to do the work in 2 to 4 weeks, but they ended up being able to start in just 4 days! They were able to get the full job done in 1 day, and they did not leave any mess behind! Except the new catch basin you could hardly tell they were in our yard. They answered all my questions promptly and professionally.

I included Done Right Landscapes in a pool project I scheduled over the winter (Dec 20 - Feb 21) and I am very pleased with the outcome. They came in on short notice to help with drainage and have made sure everything has performed well even after it was completed. Additionally, they completed the remaining landscape and sod when the temperature improved. Full pool project has been completed and I (along with many others) are very complimentary of the work. I wouldnt hesitate to use Done Right Landscapes for any future projects.

I didnt think Id be able to afford what I REALLY wanted, and Done Right made it happen within my budget. Their work is superb, they communicated daily during the work, they were FAST (no waiting 3-4 months for the project to start), and the workers were very professional. They asked questions about what we wanted, and they were able to build a fantastic landscape area for us! We had the back regraded, stepping stones installed, a 12x12 paver area put in, a massive 2-tier boulder wall built, drainage fixed and improved, and landscaped flower beds, too. GREAT COMPANY!

I needed rotted rail ties pulled out and two retaing walls reinstalled. There was also an issue of a downspout not getting water away from the houses foundation. Both issues were rectified and the work looks great. I was told by others that I could have done all this myself--absolutely not! I dont have the knowledge, skills, or tools (for instance, a bobcat and cement block saw) to have pulled off a job this big without hiring professionals. The laborers that came out were excellent! I feel they were super easy to work with and really patient with me when it came time to ask/answer questions. The quality of the work they did is high and they were fast to complete it. Was this job expensive? Yes, but this was major work. We needed to take out a loan to pay for it. But its been worth it to beautify our property, remove a safety hazard, and keep rain away from our foundation. Plus, they were much more affordable compared to another company we checked out!

My experience with Done Right was AMAZING from start to finish! Adam came to my house in June of 2021 to provide an evaluation for a landscaping proposal. Despite repeated emails, phone calls to his cell (which he doesnt answer), and speaking with the office several times Adam has yet to even acknowledge my messages. I will not be using Done Right. I would only recommend contacting Done Right if youd like an exercise in non-responsiveness and frustration.

We had terrible drainage problems in our back yard. Done Right was able toy work with us to solve that problem and install a large patio and sitting wall. Now our back yard is fully functional and better than its ever been. Job was done on time and on budget!

I reached out to the owner, Adam for a snow removal bid for the HOA I was on the board for. I d had experience working with him in a previous property management role I was in and was impressed with his work and professionalism, so he immediately came to mind when we needed a better service provider for our community. We had to have the entire yard regraded and a new patio poured because of a flooding issue in our house. Adam from Done Right came to quote and explain the job, and once construction started it was fully finished in just a few days. The flooding issue was not fully resolved due to a quirk in the way the house was constructed so I reached back out to Adam and very soon after he was back to take a look at the property, came up with a plane to resolve the outstanding issues, and all of the water issues we had been having with our house are now completely eliminated. Adam was incredibly responsive and walked us through the process. Would absolutely work with Done Right again in the future.

Hired Done Right for a tear out of all kinds of overgrowth, remove lawn, regrade, sod and put in a dry creek to aid in drainage issues. The crew did an amazing job with the work and the cleanup. We contacted Justin Sheehan at Done Right landscaping about a drainage problem in our back yard. He and Mike Hayes. the project manager, worked up a plan to get all of our run off to the storm sewer which is three houses away. After a few alterations The crew, headed by Armando, began to dig a 320 foot trench by hand to the sewer for the installation of the drain line. At the same time on the other side of the yard they installed a stone catch basin and drain. They were the hardest working three men I have ever seen. The job was completed on time and under budget. It looks great, they left the jobsite spotless. would call again.

Adam Rose visited and put a proposal together to completely redo all of our landscaping and install multiple french drains. Done Right also redid all of the drainage pipes from every downspout. Adam and the entire team were very professional and courteous. I am extremely happy with the work and result. The crew was really good and the team leader took ownership of all of the tasks, adding his own input to our original plans and seeing that everything was completed correctly. There was really good communication from everyone at Done Right, even calling on days that the weather would prevent them from working. I am a do-it-yourself person and it was hard to hand this large project off to anyone other than myself, but Done Right quickly made me happy I decided to hire them.

Done right did a great job with building a new retaining wall and re doing/mulching our front garden. The only issue we had is grass is already growing up where they laid the mulch and we were under the impression a tarp was laid down. The workers were hard working and dedicated. We were slightly dissatisfied with the sales man as he was not quick to respond and never followed up with us once we signed the paperwork.

Worked directly with Adam to remove existing shrubs, replace with new ones, rock removal and replacement, downspouts and stone border. They were prompt, efficient, and obviously cared about their work. I had two large trees that needed to be taken down and some large plants removed. They did both and then put down landscape material and a load of decorative gravel. The company sent a project manager to oversee the work and he was most accommodating to my requested change. Definitely will use them again.

This company was great to work with. Everyone was professional, polite and had good communication throughout the project. They installed a pop up drain in our yard. This required them to remove and re-pour our concrete sidewalk and dig a trench across our yard for the piping. The digging was clean and precise. We chose to have seed put down and the grass grew back very quickly. I would use this company again for sure!

We had some major drainage issues in our back yard. Christian from Done Right came out quickly to assess the situation and come up with a plan. After the initial French drain install the solution was not working. They were quick to come out and reassess and fix the issue. I d definitely do business with them again.

I recently purchased a home and inherited a front yard landscape in desperate need of a makeover. I was looking for a clean slate to plant my own flowers and bushes later this year. Done Right came up with a hardscape plan. Clean rock and old grasses were removed as well as a plastic border. Retaining wall was built in front of porch and remaining border constructed with granite cobble stones. It looks amazing and so much better than before. I would highly recommend this company.
