Turner Pest Control in St Marys

I simply do not want to use their services anymore and asked them to please stop charging my card. The first two times I called they said my card would not be charged. I am now going on month 4 of them charging my card, the next few times I called to see what the heck is going on, they tell me Josh will call me because I want to cancel within my first year. The front desk has no answers for me, Josh has still not called me, I told them I would pay a cancellation fee since I wanted out of the plan early. I have made it very clear that I don’t want to use them and yet they continue to charge my card and won’t let me cancel. Horrible customer service, they say they have been to my house and sprayed recently. Tech left nothing saying he was actually there. I would never use this company in the future. They are going to try and trap you in some silly/ expensive contract and not even offer decent service. I would leave zero stars if I could.

*Update* We got a phone call fixing the the issues laid out below. Just be careful that they can raise your rate every year even if you sign a 5 year termite contract. Locks you into a sub par service, then raises the rate on you. The only thing they know how to do is spray. Don't expect anything above that. They raised our monthly rate after about 1.5 years with them (contractually a gray area, but I'm no lawyer). Ignored my email to customer service asking for clarification. I would cancel if it wasn't for the termite warranty and service I paid $4k for.

I have to admit, having Mr Dee as our service technician makes us love Turner Pest Control. He's very friendly and funny. We had some bug issues in our home and after the treatment the problem was solved. He explained everything and answered all of my questions. Definitely reccomend this pest control

A completely useless company if you need to resolve a pest issue in a timely manner. We called with a simple roach problem. These people want to run you through an account set up process leading to an inspection process then on to the evaluation blah blah blah. I thought I was applying for a loan or something. When asked about schedule, they said it would be next week before they could get to us. I said no thank you, hung up, called a competitor and had someone out the next day. We as a society, waste more time than I care to think of, resolving issues with the service providers for services that we could easily do ourselves. Any of us could run down to Lowes, buy the same spray bottle, the correct pesticide, read everything about what and how to apply it, and then DO IT OURSELVES.

Zack, with Turner Pest Control, has worked so hard to get my lawn to look amazing. He is an expert at what is needed and how my lawn looks is a testament to his knowledge. He is professional, on time, knowledgeable, and great at communicating with his customers. Thanks Zack for your great service.

I've had an ongoing service plan in place since 2018. I called this month to request an 'in-between {unscheduled} service visit' after having seen 5-6 roaches inside my home. The technician came out in a timely manner & did what they do. Next day I had a bill charging me ($27 more than usual) for a scheduled service call. When I called customer service the rep told me that it had been a regular scheduled visit. I explained that if that had been the case I should have received an email notice in advance (which I did not) AND I should also have been notified that scheduled service visits were now $27 more than they had been in the past (of which I was also unaware.) The rep simply repeated it was a regular visit. Earlier this month I was informed that Turner was moving from a 4x/year to a 3x/year service schedule, so why would they have come out at the regularly scheduled time? The tech couldn't answer that question either. So, although the service with Turner in the past has been satisfactory, I am not sure that will be the case moving forward given this experience.

At first I was pleased with Turner, the reps that came out were very professional, knowledgeable, and polite. After the first treatment my technician was swapped to an extremely rude tech. My dog has a drinking fountain of sorts connected to a spigot outside which got sprayed and he got a little sick from it which was our fault for not covering it. Next treatment we tell the technician what bugs we were seeing and he flat out tells my wife, "No you're not, they are something else." It wasn't a helpful maybe its these bugs or something, just a very condescending snap of what "weren't" seeing. We told him the last time he treated outside our dog got sick and he denied that he sprayed it, we weren't accusing him just letting him know not to spray it again. Even with us telling him about it our dog still got sick from it which was the last straw. At first I called and said I wanted a different technician and they said scheduling would be difficult because of where I lived, 1 mile off the interstate doesn't seem extremely hard to get to but that's what they told me. I decided to cancel and had to pay $120 to clear my account for 1 treatment, these people are ripping you off, it's not a monthly fee, they charge over $100 per service. They keep reaching out for termite and I keep telling them they are never welcome at my home again.

As a realtor I deal with pest control companies on regular basis. I needed an urgent matter resolved the same morning and where other companies passed, Peachtree Pest Control with Jennifer(office) and Eric Walker( inspector) totally stepped up to the plate. Fast, professional and great customer service. Highly recommended !!!
