I have been a customer with Tennant for over 20 years. It has been a great experience. They are responsive to my issues, manage my entire outside area and are accessible when needed.

Our lawn finally looks great! Prompt, polite personnel.

Weve had Tennant mow us for several years, and recently had them do some landscape cleanup. Theyre always on time, fast, and thorough, with no surprises. This year we had them mulch our leaves--totally clean in a couple of hours. Ill never rake again!

I don t use Tennant Landscape Solutions regularly because my son moved back in with us and takes care of our yard whenever he is able to fit it in his work schedule. When I do use Tennant Landscape Solutions, they do an excellent job cutting grass or whatever you need done to your yard. Two years ago, when I started using Tennant, I was surprised they even had a removal leave service if you want it. I highly recommend them and will continue to use their services as needed.

To update everyone from my last review of Tennant Landscaping. I had originally put a very poor review of Tennant Landscaping but after looking into the situation further we have found that Tennant did nothing wrong to our irrigation system and it is another problem that was looked into and found. I have sent Tennant the following email. Kevin & Eric, I must completely apologize!! I am so sorry for all the headaches that I have caused! I was working in my yard this morning and decided to look into the leak in my irrigation system to see if it could be fixed easily. I have had the system turned off to let the area dry out to be able to look for the problem. While working in my yard I turned the system back on and removed the cover from the solenoid valve box and what I found was one of the solenoid valves is leaking. I could not see this before because the valve box was full of water and thinking that it was filling up from a broken pipe. We have never had problems with our system before is why I thought it was a broken pipe causing the leak. It is just very odd that during that day right before your crew got here we had a water main break out in our cul-ve-sac then our AT&T fiber optics line was broke and finally the leak in the irrigation system happened. All this happening within an hour of each other. Again I am so very sorry for everything that has transpired due to my negligence of not investigating the problem further before acting on the situation the way that I have!! I am also going to remove my google review of Tennant Landscaping. Again I don t know what else to say but I am very sorry!

These guys are hard workers!

Very fair price and extremely reliable. We used Tennant primarily for lawn mowing but they are full-service. They never missed weekly service and rescheduled around weather. They were on and off my 1-acre lawn in about 30 min. Their customer service people on the phone are kind and knowledgeable.

Disappointed to be giving Tennant a bad review. Ive hired them for mowing and landscaping over the last four years and they used to be very reliable. This year theyve been difficult to reach (dont bother leaving a voicemail!) and I had to ask them to come back three times to finish an ivy removal job. The initial bill was the first indication theyd done any work at all! The main area I hired them for was untouched. Apparently they did a bit on the other side of the fence and called it good. After the fourth (!) visit it appears the job is finally done; it still doesnt look great, so Ill be doing the rest of the cleanup myself. Two stars instead of one because the office staff has been trying very hard to help, though a $400 bill on a job I will still have to finish myself doesnt feel great.

I was pleased with the work that Tennant Landscape did for me. I needed rock added to my garden area. It was packed tightly and should prevent weeds from coming through.

Several years ago we had Tennant Landscaping install pavers and steps on the lower portion of our patio. The job was done in a timely manner and when complete, the cleanup was performed very much to our satisfaction. Everything still looks great. We were so pleased we just called them to perform additional work. Great company and great people.

Were on a weekly schedule and can check the client portal for weather delays or updates. They are professional and friendly, making sure the electric gate is secure when finished. We plan to include spring clean-up, mulching and monthly weeding for our beds and turf applications this year. Theyre competitively priced and offer pre-pay discount option on scheduled services along with free quotes on time and material services. They offer a wide range of services from lawn care, pruning, irrigation to snow removal and gutter cleaning.

Do a good job on mowing. Always respond to any issues immediately.

Landscape plan was great and plants seemed healthy. Poor installation resulted in us losing many of them. With small plants, a hole smaller than plant size was dug and plant was stuffed into the too small hole. Many of these popped out over the winter and died. A fairly expensive tree was planted with an air pocket underneath. Tree did poorly. We discovered the problem during the second year when the tree started tipping to one side. Warranty was not still in effect.

Tennant built a great retaining wall for us, and I was impressed with both their speed and quality. They even worked with us to install a fence on top, and we are very pleased!

Tennant lawn care is an efficient, professional, caring group who are easy to work with, timely in their schedule, and easy to communicate with, at affordable prices.

The staff has always been responsive and the work has always been on time and well done.

Have been very satisfied with Tennant Landscaping. They do a great job mowing and trimming the lawn. They let me know which days they will be fertilizing and or doing a clean up. They also have a great landscaping team. They take the worry out of taking care of my yard. . Positive

They do a decent job a mowing the lawn, though they extend their mowing season into November, which does not make a lot of sense and actually makes for a higher actual price per cut (the last few cuts at the end of the season are essentially not cut at all). They have been expanding into various value-add services, but, at least as far as my experience is concerned, they have fallen way short in delivering quality outcomes the few times I have used them for such services. My assessment is that they seem to use marginally qualified personnel for those tasks, and while this may be OK when it comes to a simple job such as mowing the lawn, it usually falls short of expectations for more complex tasks. When I have used them for tree pruning and hand-weeding, I have typically had to call back to get the job completed properly. I, therefore, cannot really recommend them for anything beyond simple lawn mowing.

I have also used them to do refreshes on the landscaping - clearing debris from my rock bed; adding more rocks when needed; and remulching all of my garden beds. I found this company via a neighbor & was really excited to meet Chad who came to view the job. He seemed really knowledgeable and I thought I d for sure want to use Tennant for a future larger project in my backyard. Chad told me it d take about two weeks to get a bid to me & that they could likely schedule my job soon. I followed up with their generic sales email address, who Erica had been communicating to me on. I followed up 3 times before I realized they are just ghosting me. If you don t want to do the job just say it. What a waste of time.

Working with Tennant landscape was a wonderful experience. John and Kevin helped with the design and were very easy to work with and I had great trust in using them from the very beginning. I cant stop looking at my yard out my kitchen window with the new landscaping. I could have never dreamed it would look so good. Thank you!!

Excellent work at a good price. Easy to get hold of, did just what they promised. We are very happy we used them.

We have a challenging front and back yard - it is vinca vine in full, with lots of weeds. Tennant did a fantastic job weeding the yard and sculpting the yards shape. It looks a million times better, and their guys are super polite and friendly. We plan to use them on a regular basis to maintain our yard.
