This company was good in a pinch. I needed help quickly. Thank you for that. Regarding on-going service, I was disappointed. I contracted for FULL service. I did not receive full service. My beds should have been weeded. They were not. This is my biggest complaint. THERE WAS NO WEEDING OF BEDS !!! I was also promised mulching of beds. THIS DID NOT HAPPEN, not even once. But yet I was still charged $170/month!!! They did NOT live up to their promises. Further, THEY ATTEMPTED TO BILL MY CREDIT CARD FOR THE MONTH AFTER I DISCONTINUED SERVICE. BIG MISTAKE. In short, this company was good for starting service. This company did not follow through with their promises regarding services. This company made it difficult to stop a subscription billing, ON PURPOSE. Why cannot this company provide what is promised, bill as promised, and follow their own rules when disengaging? WHY IS THAT SO DIFFICULT?
I recently moved to Saint Johns. I contacted Lawn Care of Saint Johns to service my yard. The communication was great! They have been outstanding! I highly recommend!
They charge a flat rate for services that don’t get provided. They would come out and not mow and just chop my yard with only a weedeater which looked terrible but I’m still paying full price, I have also had them come out and not mow at all when the yard was in need of it. I have been emailing and calling them for over a month and still no response from the owner who apparently is the only person that can cancel an account. They have broken things on my patio and made no mention of it like it didn’t happen. Fully dissatisfied with the services that were provided and am just trying to cancel their services and can’t get anyone to respond to me that can cancel my account. Absolutely do not recommend them whatsoever. I just submitted a review on BBB as well hoping that more people will see it and choose to not do business with this company.
If you’re looking a reputable lawn company, look no further!! Not only do they provide quality work, the owner, Phil, is extremely helpful, kind, and responsive. Don’t waste your time looking elsewhere. Phil’s your guy!
This lawn company is amazing! The owner has top notch communication whenever I have any request. They are always right on schedule and the workers always do awesome work and are very polite. I would recommend this company to anyone that’s searching for reliable lawn care.
I wanted to wait to review for them to show how reliable they are. I spoke to owner months ago as I had a TERRIBLE experience with Springscapes lawn care who damaged my yard and broke sprinklers and originally they were great but ended with damage to my property. The owner from Lawn Care of St. Johns not only took the time to hear out my concerns with the other service but assured me that they were reliable and professional. They come every Friday. My lawn has never looked better and for the price it is fantastic that they do yards and cut bushes weekly. I have been using them now for 6 months and have nothing but good things to say. Please continue the great work
We have been using Austin’s Lawn Care since we moved here 12 years ago! Phil goes out of his way to help me anytime I contact him. His staff is also very helpful if they see me struggling with anything outdoors. If I have a concern (very rarely) or special request, he handles it immediately. The quality of his business is excellent all around.
We have been using Phil and his team for our lawn service for several years. He is dependable and does a great job! When we moved into our new house the lawn was not cared for by the previous owners. After talking over a plan of action with Phil, they were able to fix damage and improve spots that were neglected and now I have a beautiful yard!
Not a good first impression when I asked for an estimate for a full service lawn care, they said they would email me an estimate but they never did. Basically ignored my request.
I am a neighbor to someone who uses this service. These people refused to move their truck back a few feet so that I could pass by their vehicle and another safely. I asked nicely and they refused even though there was literally no reason why they couldnt do it. They were rude to me for no reason. Keeping myself and my child from getting home for no reason. I was forced to pass between their truck and the other vehicle with less than an inch between my car and theirs if I wasnt perfect I would have hit them and it would have been my fault. I just think its unprofessional and wouldnt want someone I employ to cut my lawn harassing and burdening my neighbors.
Phil and his team make quick work of the lawn and clean up the debris from their work! They are pleasant to speak with and easy to work with.

Called and left a message for getting an estimate for lawn cutting. I received a text soon after but thats where it ended. I was always the one who had to text to get a response. Did finally say he would come by to do an estimate but dont know if he did. That was May 11th and I finally text him back on June 9th and asked if he came by and ever did the estimate..Replied back after a day or so and said not able to do at this time, thank you. Really?? No apology or anything. Thanks for doing me a favor and showing me how you treat clients. Would never recommend or use.

Amateur..gave me estimate and told me that he ll contact me and come this morning, 6/21/22.. never showed up, never called..unless he s in ICU, there is no reason for this kind of behavior..as a high end contractor for the past 35 years, yes, in California, noticed that Florida do have a problem with contractors without intellect why would you give an estimate and screw up the job? P.s. what a liar I..spoke to you over the phone and you forgot about appointment..pathetic at best calling customer a lier..

I paid, we scheduled, they did not show up. Instead of reaching out to me, I reached out to them, at which time I was informed they were not coming the day they said they were. I then requested that after the current billing cycle to please discontinue service. At that time they told me they dont do one time cuts, although I paid for a month in advance, and then they refunded me. Not very professional and not customer oriented. * Response to the owners response. I didnt request a date or time. You told me when you were going to make it, and then didnt. If you would have told me a week, I would have still hired you. Instead you gave me a time frame you could not make. ** I changed my review to 3 stars from one star, as the owner did make a valued attempt to correct the issue. Still only 3 stars though, as it shouldnt take a review for a company to try and make things right.
We ve been extremely happy with St. John s Lawn Care the last year. For the past 7 years we have struggled to find consistency but Phil and his team have given us that piece of mind!!! A++++ work and fantastic customer service with his team!!!
