We recently put an inground pool in and our backyard was a mudhole. Two days after talking to Max from Cutting Edge, a crew came out to start the project. It was just that easy. His crew was polite and professional. They got the job done in 3 days. I couldn t be happier with the results. If you are thinking about doing a landscape project, just do it!! You will be in great hands with Cutting Edge. No regrets!!

Outstanding quality and service from design to completion! Cutting Edge designed and installed a complete landscaping package for our new construction home, including a sprinkler system. Before construction could begin on our home, we needed a landscaping design for the developer to approve - Max provided us with a design & quote within 1 day and included everything we asked for in the design. When it came time to install the landscaping, Max and his crew showed up and completed the job sooner than any of us expected. Even our builder was blown away by how fast it was completed and the quality of work. Thank you!

Max and his team of Jake and the crew did an outstanding job harley raking, leveling and putting down new grass seed for my one acre lot in Lake Village Indiana. They also corrected my drainage issue in the front yard and we look forward to see what he can with some future landscaping project in and around our new house

Cutting Edge did an outstanding job removing our old grass and laying down new sod. They also cleaned up and mulched existing landscaping beds for us. I was impressed by the quality of work and how well they cleaned up afterwards. The workers were friendly, courteous, and efficient. Would absolutely recommend for landscaping needs.

Called them for mowing services, was told that they could mow my yard within 2 days. They asked for my address to give me a quote, then called back and said that they were fully booked and could not mow my yard at all. Why advertise mowing and tell me that you can mow my yard just to turn it down? You just earned yourself lots of bad promotion.

We used Cutting Edge to re-configure our sprinklers after a pool install. Max, the owner, and his team did a great re-doing & upgrading our sprinkler system. Max is top notch. He s very knowledgeable and patiently answered all of my questions. Neatly and professionally done job. They also laid sod where the bobcat for our pool killed the grass and some trouble areas. We are very pleased with their courteous service. We will definitely continue to use Cutting Edge!

I cannot share enough good things about Cutting Edge Landscaping. We recently built a new home in Ellendale (Crown Point) on a very challenging, hillside lot and were looking for a partner to not only provide a solid basis of landscaping (sod, mulched beds, irrigation, trees), but a VISION for what our property could become. Boy did Max and his crew deliver!! Max visited the site before our appointment and had everything planned in advance. Two days later he walked the almost completed property with us and laid out the plan. He told us what it would take to really do it up, and less than a week later we received an estimate for all of the work at more than HALF the next closest bidder. When the crew conducted the installations, they did so with quality and care. Where there were unforeseen issues, the Cutting Edge crew came up with a solution. Only once did they ask for more money...and only for materials outside of the original scope needed to deliver OUR complete vision. We will use Cutting Edge again for annual irrigation servicing, bed maintenance, and any more extensive additions to our backyard paradise. As said up front...I couldnt recommend someone more! I received a sprinkler system for my front and back yard in 2021. I was very pleased with the price and quality of work. The guys completed the install quickly. I have the greenest yard on the block. Cutting Edge follows up at the end of each season to offer its winterization service. I would highly recommend Cutting Edge.

We requested a quote for landscaping work at our house. They came out relatively quickly and walked the property. We were told we would have a quote back soon. Over 2 weeks later and we still did not receive a quote. We will find another company. Dont waste your time.

They installed an irrigation system. They were very professional. They installed it in a timely manner. The owner answered all my questions. Then he came by and checked everything out. Very courteous, friendly and knowledgeable. I would call them again for any landscaping needs.

We had sod installed with an irrigation system. Additionally, we had an area seeded as well as flower beds planted around the entire house. The team at Cutting Edge was very responsive to our needs and performed the work professionally and quickly with attention to detail. The initial quote did take somewhat longer than expected, however with number of new homes being constructed in the area coupled with labor challenges it was nothing that would change my review of the services rendered. There was even an issue where a few of the Arborvitae did not make it through the winter. Cutting Edge resolved the issue quickly. I would definitely recommend Cutting Edge for your landscaping needs based on my personal experience.

We built a new home in Crown Point while living in Missouri. It was so easy working with Max. He was excellent from the design stage to the installation and follow up. Our first experience using Cutting Edge was to install 2 large landscapes beds in our backyard several years ago and we couldn t have been happier with the finished project. After that, we knew they would be the only company we would want and trust for a much larger project which was restoring our backyard after an in-ground pool installation. Needless to say, our property looked like a warzone before Cutting Edge took over. We gave them full reign on the design of the patio and landscape. All of Max s suggestions were spot on to what we were looking for, and more importantly, for things we never even thought of. They handled every aspect of this project installation of the patio, putting drainage in for the patio, repairing the sprinkler system, planting the landscape, and installing landscape lights. The crew of Cutting Edge were very hard working and respectful of our property. Max was quick to respond to whatever questions we had along the way. And on top of everything else, the project was done in the timeframe he gave us. Needless to say, the backyard turned out beautiful. They always do a great job plowing but the person blowing Coyne in St John yesterday was able to jump start my car and was very nice and helpful.

We hired this company for our HOA in our subdivision. So far not happy! I have had to shovel, my wife has had to shovel! We don t mind doing it but, the company gets like $25,000 for snow removal and doesn t even do it!

Max completely landscaped my new home. He did irrigation, sod, trees, perennials, borders. It looks amazing! We get compliments every day. We got a couple of quotes and Max had more value for the money. Max is responsive, a good listener and great designer. We are thrilled with are beautiful front and back yard! Highly recommend.

We used Cutting edge to install two large flower beds in out back yard with 4 spruce trees and a ton of perennial flowers. I had to have them back out immediately because we were missing plants on the contract and the layout looked terrible. They came out an fixed it at that point, but within a few months two of the trees appeared to not be doing well. We called and emailed an didn t get a response. Finally I texted and the owner said he was out of town an would get back to me in a week- which he never did. Then winter happened an I thought I d see what would come back before contacting them again. In the spring we also contacted the Company about the trees not doing well and some plants not coming back but still won t get a call back. We have Simse had another company out that said we will probably lose one tree and the other had to be cut and fertilized. We were told that the quality of plants that were installed were not very good and that 2 of the 4 trees were planted incorrectly and that s why we are having issues with them. So don t use this company if you value your time and money.

Ive been working with Cutting Edge for the last four years and they have done an excellent job. We use them for our irrigation system maintenance, weekly mowing, fertilization service and all our landscaping needs. They are reliable and have excellent customer service. Max designed our backyard patio & fire pit and I love everything about it! If you are looking for a one stop shop for all your outdoor needs, give them a call. You wont be disappointed.

Max and his team designed and installed the landscaping at our new house and we are really pleased with the results. I cant speak highly enough of the job Max and his team did in transforming my ugly backyard into something awesome. They tore up our old rotting deck and cracked patio slab and created an awesome backyard oasis with a new Trex deck and a gorgeous paver patio and path. The guys showed up at 8 a.m. on the nose every day and did exceptional, professional work. Highly recommended.

The crew did a good job with the landscape design, however many issues occurred once the job was completed with our paver bricks shifting out of place. I spoke with Max who had the issue corrected once in 2018. I emailed the office and advised the issue was still not repaired and was advised in the spring of 2019 that the issues would once again be corrected. After numerous emails and phone calls, Max contacted me stating that he is extremely busy and he would send someone to repair the issue during the 2019 season, which did not happen. I have reached out multiple times in 2020 with no response. Living in a new build subdivision, I will not recommend Cutting Edge to new neighbors.

My husband and I started a project that was much bigger than expected. Cutting Edge was there to save the day and help fill and sod our backyard. Our backyard is now beautiful, cozy and inviting. Cutting Edge does my lawn every week, and they do a good job and are reliable and reasonably priced. I have also had them do bigger jobs seasonally, mulching, bush trimming.... I am very happy with the work they do and find all of the workers to be friendly and polite. We recently had them put in a brick sidewalk, pull some old bushes, and put in some new landscaping. We could not be happier with the outcome. I really feel that they listened to what I wanted and made my vision a reality. I highly recommend them.

Max came out to our home on Dec 14 to give me estimate on our backyard. He promised to email me different images and designs with prices within a week of our meeting but I had to follow up a couple of times for the email, until now, January 4, I havent received anything from him. Very unprofessional to have a customer waiting for nothing.

Ive had to call 5 times to try to get a quote for landscaping service in my backyard and they still have not called me back.

Do not use this company if you expect project management on your job site. The workers do good work but plan on taking time off work to manage the job yourself. The owner Max will stop by every other day for 10min then leave. Also never completely finished the job and we gave up contacting. This is a business who takes on to much work in the season than they can handle and uses this as an excuse.

The best landscape and maintenance company in northwest indiana. The owner can draw up landscapes that captivate every eye that goes past the house. Maintenance crews take the time to not only cut the lawn but also pull weeds, and trim bushes. The patio, landscape, and maintenance crews all have the top of the line equipment and put it to good use, getting every job done efficiently but also taking the time to make every job look perfect.
