South Valley Landscaping transformed my backyard from a hot, ugly mess to heaven on earth! Brad was readily available to answer my questions, make suggestions and turn my dreams into reality. South Valley worked well with the multiple requirements of my HOA. I made last minute adjustments as to placement of plants, rocks, flower beds and his wonderful crew was approachable and even pleasant about it. Thank you South Valley Landscaping!

We had an excellent experience from start to finish with Brad and all of his crew members. Brad met us at the nursery to show us the plants on our design so we could choose different plants than our plan if we wanted but still in similar varieties to keep the same look. He made some suggestions that we love and he also listened to my preferences. He was on site most of the time of the install. I loved how he treated his employees with respect and equality. Tracey and his 5 man army got the job done FAST! His recommendations along with our design turned out a beautiful site. Usable areas of flagstone, trees, shrubs, and grass. Finished off with boulders and stone. The crew was very cautious keeping debri out of our pool. We had a large amount of dirt and stone in front of house for a few days, when they finished you could not tell there was any materials in the street or our drive and patios. This was a brand new house with no backyard landscaping. We wanted a low maintenance yard for our tenants but looked inviting and utilized the view of the mountains and Zion. It turned out perfectly. We are very happy with our landscape project and would recommend South Valley Landscaping.

We saw about three different landscaping companies and we decided to go with South Valley landscaping for three reasons. Tracy, came over and had a lot of great ideas about what we could do with our yard, he drafted up a plan after he took measurements, and he sent me the plan and quote soon after. South valley I thought was reasonably priced. Two of the previous landscapers we spoke to we re either too low and I didn t feel confident in them or too high. Working with Tracy and the crew went great. Tracy always got right back to me, when we started later then we initially thought, he still texted me and let me know all the updates. And then when it was finished, only a couple weeks later, it turned out beautiful! With great quality work. They have the most detailed oriented/ meticulous paver guy! You need this guy if you want pavers. And Tracy/crew set up the sprinkler system and showed me how it works. I am really happy with how it all turned out, I will definitely be recommending these guys!

South Valley Landscaping does excellent work; the results of the job they did for us more than met our expectations. We had a courtyard and backyard complete make-over. They accomplished everything we wanted and solved every challenge that came up, including the narrow access to our backyard. They are professional and are one of the few contractors we ve worked with that not only did a great job, but met the agreed upon time-frames. Hardscaping included old concrete removed and a large area of hand stamped and stained concrete, flagstone pathways, as well as a partially in-ground hot tub with natural stone surrounding it. We had artificial pet turf put in with concrete curbing, and a really lovely double bubbler fountain that s pondless and requires only minimal care. Not only is the sound of the water wonderful, the birds love the fountain and use it to drink and for bird baths. They put in a sprinkler system for the pet turf (sounds silly, but helps to keep the artificial turf cool enough for the dogs to walk on in the hot summer months), as well as drip lines for the trees and shrubs. Everything is easy care and low maintenance. They also had great suggestions for the types of trees and shrubs to meet our practical requirements as well as aesthetic wishes, as well as sources to get the best specimens. Now our backyard is a beautiful and restful oasis where we spend many hours relaxing. And our beloved dogs think it s the best place ever. Previously they would barely go outside; they hated the back yard. Now they love running around every inch of it.

I retained South Valley to do the landscaping for a new home in the Little Valley area. They were prompt in coming over to our house to assess the situation and were very helpful in laying out the landscaping. They were prompt in getting the quotation to us and in scheduling when the work could be done. When they came to do the work they were efficient and did a wonderful job for us. Well use South Valley Landscaping again. CON: At first, there was a lot of miscommunication and delays (due to several different factors). This was definitely frustrating, but was always handled with professionalism. I only wish there was more PROACTIVE communication regarding where things were in the process. PRO: Direct and honest with costs. Stands behind work done and corrects ANYTHING that goes wrong. We had sprung a leak, weeks later, due to a short cure time on the glue. They were able to get right to work and his crew did a great job. They listened to us and implemented the plan well. They also adapted to any changes we decided on mid-stream. South Valley did a terrific job on some landscape improvements that I needed. This included a large fire pit, paver walkway, new plantings and associated water layout, and lighting enhancements. They did a great job, and came right in on budget.

I am almost 73 years old and have never had a landscaped yard. Needless to say, I was very anxious and stressed to invest in this endeavor. Out of a hill of dirt David, Tracy and three of their employees created this gorgeous desert landscape that has totally exceeded my expectations. We LOVE our new yard! This was a redo - we didn t like the original landscaping (not done by South Valley). David listened to what we wanted and designed it perfectly, including a computer drawing so we knew what we were getting (none of the other companies we called did this!). We didn t make a single change to his design. He went to the nursery with me to pick out our plants and even offered some help/suggestions with our backyard which we were not redoing. His crew worked VERY hard and fast. Very reasonably priced - not the cheapest, but definitely not the most expensive either. A great value and I would use them again!

Very recommended company for landscaping. They did an awesome work on our backyard. To us there were two things that made the impressive difference: they bring you to the plant nursery to help you choose the right plants and accents giving you the best possible ideas for the area and the climate; and they are always available for any questions even outside the working hours. These guys are top notch! David and Tracy are the absolute best at what they do and its obvious they take great pride in their work. My wife and I were so impressed to see their crew show up on time, and even come on a Saturday, or stay after 5 pm and work to get a job done. Plus this is an honest company that still cares about customer service and quality in an environment awash with contractors trying to make a quick buck. South Valley also worked with us to modify some of landscaping layout to save some money, and also to help the flow a little better with a pool we have. These guys have gone far above and beyond all our expectations and now our house looks like a Parade home thanks to their help, without the parade cost. I would highly recommend!

Be careful when you hire this company as they dont put Teflon tape on their valves. We had leaky valves and hired a professional to have them fixed that wasnt the real problem. I tried to get some information from David and he was so aggressive and rude towards me that he wouldnt even let me speak or ask my question and decided that I wasnt worth his time and hung up on me. I realize everyone is having a hard time with the virus and everything thats going on but seriously could you be a little nicer to the people who supported your business in the pasti? Maybe a little niceness will come back to you!

We hired South Valley Landscaping to finish our back yard. Our family and neighbors are all impressed with how beautiful it looks and so are we. David was quick to design a plan for us and listened to our suggestions for changes. Tracy took us to the nursery to pick out our plants and gravel. The flagstone walkway and fire pit are gorgeous and exceeded our expectations. They upgraded parts of our sprinkler system and added a drip line. Please keep in mind they are busy so be patient when you hire them to start on your project but the wait is worth it. We hired South Valley Landscaping to redo our front and backyard to make it a desert landscape instead of having grass. They worked so hard and were so professional. Every day when they were done they cleaned up any messes. They got both the yards done so fast. It looks absolutely amazing and we love it! South Valley Landscape helped design and complete my front yard landscape. The workers were polite and diligent. The workers worked hard from early morning to usually about 3 or 4 p.m. I had 1 tree and 2 plants that died. S. V. L. replaced 2 of them, said earlier that they coukd not guarantee any cactus plant. (Theres a 90 day guarantee.) Tracy, one of the owners, was very attentive to my needs.

Tracy and South Valley came in and transformed our back yard from a sandlot to an area where our family can hang out and entertain in. In September 2017 we hired South Valley Landscaping to design and install our back and side yard. It was just dirt at the time. We worked closely with David S. and I was pleasantly surprised with how quickly he responded to calls and answered questions before and during the install. He even had his crew cut and trim our front yard for free when my husband was out sick from surgery. I was very impressed with their customer service. We spent a VERY hefty amount of money with them. More than I have ever spent in one sitting (other than my house) and when I think about it now it makes my stomach hurt. When the install was almost finished we paid our final installment and that is when the customer service stopped. David had promised to finish the remaining few items within the next week. (some of those promises NEVER got fulfilled) David also offered us a year warranty on any plants that died, he would come in and replace them for free. We contacted David and his associate via phone calls, text messages, emails starting in September of 2018 and every time we were able to make contact there was a promise to come out within the following days or weeks but they either never showed up or they did show up with the promise to come back later and do the job. This continued on until I sent my last message trying to get them to live up to their contract in spring 2019. All of our grass on our side yard had died, despite us watering and fertilizing, David (or his crew) came past and cut the grass and seeded, AGAIN with the promise he would be back to replace the dead plants and trees. It is now July of 2019, almost 2 years has past and weve since resigned that they are not going to deliver on what was in our contract. Ive waited so long to write this review because I wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt. We have had to spend MORE money to hire people to fix issues weve encountered, some of which are: our fountain leaking, the fireplace mantle coming off, the fireplace stopped lighting (we discovered it was installed incorrectly and had been burning some of the wiring when we had used it in the past), the sprinkler system AND replace the dead plants/trees. We will also have to eventually replace all of the grass on the side yard, when we can afford it. I would caution you on using South Valley Landscaping. While they did make my yard look very nice for the first few months, the quality of the work is really showing through only 2 years after install. They will make you feel like a valued customer until they get paid. Then you will be left to fix the damages. South Valley Landscaping was so easy to work with. David and Tracy were easy to contact, they understood our backyard vision, and were able to work within our budget. I was able to pick out all my own plants, Tracy even offered to meet me and my husband at the nursery to give advice on what would work in our yard. Once the crew arrived it was three short days and now our backyard is complete. I would highly recommend them and they offer extended services as well (yard maintenance/mowing ).

Two years ago, our previous landscaper fixed our sprinkler system and ended up killing our entire lawn, along with most of our shrubs. In the past year and a half I called several other landscaping companies that would come out, take measurements and then never contact us back with a quote, turns out all the new subdivisions in the area are more lucrative than a fixer job. Enter South Valley, they came out looked at the area, gave a ball park figure and followed with an itemized invoice a few days later. They were about average on price, maybe a bit on the high end and I did have to pay a portion up front, then wait six weeks for work to start. Once the materials arrived at my house there was another payment due, then the last payment when the job was finished. It took 3-4 days, they cut my internet on day one, but it was fixed that day by the cable company. They listened to what we wanted and were helpful guiding my decisions when I wasnt sure on what I actually wanted and the yard turned out great because of that. The entire process was easy, they did a great job. Would hire again

I work in the landscaping business and have for over 20 years. I have worked with south valley landscape on a few projects while helping them with sprinkler projects. The quality is as good as I ve seen anywhere. The maintenance can t be beat either. Service after the sale is a lost art in today s world but South Valley has not lost their way. The fact that they have hired me on a few projects tells me that quality is very important to the ownership. They could take the cheap way out and take a less expensive route but chose to make sure things are done right in lieu of making higher profits. **If your going to use or have used South Valley Landscaping Please Read This*** I have had the pleasure of knowing Dave, his amazing wife and his Family for well over a decade and a half. They are some of the best people around this town. I have read some of the posts on here that have personally attacked him, his family and his business. Those people who feel the need to personally attack a man and his family and hide behind their religion are cowards to say the least. Dave is the epitome of what this community should be acting like. He is a stand up guy and will always do the right thing and fix whatever needs fixing. Communication is key. If you ask him or let him know if something needs to be changed then he will always oblige and take care of it, but if you dont tell him what is wrong how can he fix it, again, COMMUNICATION is Key. Dave does incredible work. PERIOD. He is scrupulous to details and comes up with cool ideas that I never would have thought of. I have used Dave and his company to repair or fix what other companies have either messed up on or never completed, and if i have a problem with something in my yard or need something done he gets right on it and his guys are great to work with also. His vision of what a yard can look like from beginning to end is absolutely amazing. I have seen many designs and been to many of the houses that he has landscaped and they look amazing. David and his crew were some of the best priced and easiest to work with contractors for our new house! He walked through everything with us a few times and was very flexible on any changes or adjustments. He was present through the whole project. He let us choose all the plants and trees and did everything including the grass, sprinklers, drainage, decorative rock, plants, and trees. All the pricing was up front and stayed the same. We recommend them for any landscaping projects!

Very nice people Dan was great but the synthetic grass didnt look nice at all. This is now 2 installers that messed up our yard. My wife is very unhappy with me. We had to go somewhere else that was less expensive but much higher quality.
