Thompson Lawn Care in St Cloud

I have them on video throwing sticks in my yard from the neighbors yard. They have been doing it for years, but I finally have it on video!

Called late in the year to have sprinklers blown for a reason. Owner was rude and condescending. Not a good first impression will NEVER use this company-poor customer service

Very professional, always making time to fit in our fall sprinkler clear out. Also put in a new system clock to get my system back up and running.

We have used Thompson lawn care for opening and closing our irrigation system for the last eight years since we moved to St. Cloud. They have even done repairs when needed. Always professional, polite, trustworthy, and reasonably priced. We have also used them to cut our grass and snow removal for the last few years. They are very reliable and do an awesome job! We are always pleased. Thompson lawn care is the best and we highly recommend them!

I attempted to utilize the services of this business for my sprinkler system since they were the ones who originally installed it for one of the previous homeowners. The owner sent 2 of his employees who were rude right out of the gate. My husband told them he'd meet them around back and one of the guys told my husband he could just open the garage door and they will walk through. The sprinkler panel is next to the back door of the garage and no need for these guys to walk through our garage. The same guy then proceeded to be even more disrespectful and unprofessional towards my husband. Also, he only wanted in the garage to see that their company sticker was really on the panel. We brought out the pressure vacuum breaker we had purchased for the repair only to be rudely told that we need a bigger size. I told the employee that I would return the one I had, order the correct size, and call to reschedule. The guy went on to lecture us on how the problems weren't going to end when they replace the PVB and how they were going to have to charge us for every time they had to come out. We tried to explain that we're new homeowners and never had experience with a sprinkler system and the previous owners left the system on without saying anything to the realtor or us. The guy retorted that they 'don't have time to knock on 900 doors'. Even though businesses send out mass marketing mail pieces through out the year; they won't send out winter maintenance reminders to their past client residences? I purchased my own PVB because Jeremy told me his costs $100 and I got mine for under $60. After I picked up the correct size PVB, I called Jeremy and left a voicemail. No response. Called again and left a voicemail, no response. I sent a text message since the number is a cell phone and he told me I could text it, again no response. So I have to believe that the employees that were disrespectful and unprofessional must have sold Jeremy a story when they left my residence. Jeremy is now ignoring my attempts to contact him and thus refusing to service my home based on what his unprofessional employee has said and not trying to hear both sides of the story. I do not and would not recommend this business to anyone, at least not for your sprinkler system. It's crazy since his mowing team, or one of, is at my neighbor's house weekly. His mowing team must be a lot better than his sprinkler system team.
