Lawn care: 1/10 Pest control: 8/10 I wouldnt recommend them for lawn care. My lawn actually got worse after starting with them. However, their pest control team is professional, knowledgeable, and helpful, so at least that service was worthwhile.

Nobody s perfect but Luv A Lawn is consistently better at maintaining the health of my shrubs and lawn. I ve been a client for more than four years and have used multiple services over this time. It want till I stopped using luv a lawn s weed control that I started having more weeds than ever. Obviously they were right. I would always have weeds. But they did minimize them.

They are super good and priced good as well

I have had nothing but problems with this company since doing business in June, 2024. Ive been trying to get a refund, however it seems getting my money back isnt as important to them as it is to me. Their service is terrible, their customer service is terrible. BEWARE.

Update: The management never called. Again find someone else!!! Worst pest control company. I had all my services with them from the moment I purchased a brand new house in 2021. After many emails expressing my frustration with their service nothing improved to the point that my grass got ruined. When I brought my frustrations to the management they always found an excuse to avoid taking responsibilities. Last wxcuse was that I needed to move my every other month to a monthly service. I looked for second opinions, and the various companies were very surprised on how badly this company left my grass. All agreed that I did not needed to move my service to a monthly basis. New company is working hard to safe a good portion of grass on my backyard, but might still need to resod some areas. Highly disappointed. Look somewhere else. Irecommend looking for local pest control businesses that truly understand how to treat St. Agustine grass in this Florida weather. With this company you will end up wasting your money. My neighbors are observing my grass to see if they move services with the new company. I usually don t write reviews, unless I strongly believe a company treats their clients unfairly and/or are not honest with their service.

Luv-a-Lawn, I was with them for many years and had no problems, but when I moved house and wanted to use their services I had a very bad experience, because the person who did the service burned my grass and now I have to replace it and they dont want to fix the problem. I do not recommend them. Responding to this company: They have already contacted me and have not resolved anything. In fact, they told me that it was the owners son who provided the services and of course we are the ones affected and knowing the problem that was caused, they did not come to replace the grass that they burned at the roots and nothing will grow there. I hope they contact me soon, because what they are doing to us is not fair. Perhaps the judiciary could take better measures.

WORST WORST WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER The lady who was on phone even hang up with me !!! I had ever experienced with this before . All my grass turning yellow now . And I try to ask for help . Which I been with this company for almost 2 years . I never received any advice for them. ! I don t recommend them AT ALL ! Do t waste your money please !

My lawn is actually worse than when we started over a year ago. When I stressed my concerns, I was referred to a manager named Michael (I believe that was his name). He was rude, condescending and made no efforts to help. His excuses made no sense. He kept contradicting himself. Since I clearly understood that he had no intentions of helping me, I explained to him that I would be investigating our cameras to see if my lawn was actually being treated monthly. I had doubts due to the condition of my lawn. He immediately said that I was not allowed to speak to any other district manager because he was there for 13 years and that he was canceling my account. To add insult, he hung up the phone on me as I spoke. Well after paying Luv a lawn over $1000, that did not go very well for me. In addition, I have a few other homes that Luv a Lawn services for us. I was hoping to have a professional encounter with this so-called manager. Due to his unprofessionalism, I have canceled all of my accounts with Luv a Lawn. I hope the $60 was worth losing my accounts! I did file a complaint, however no one has reached out to me as of yet. I am very DISAPPOINTED in the service and the customer service is beyond disappointing.

I had Lawn and Pest at my home with Luv a Lawn. Lawn Fertilizer Service - started off good, however went downhill so fast. The lawn had become weed infested that killed off a good portion of my St. Augustine. After filing a complaint, they sent a Manager out. This manager had told me that the weeds that are present are not in their control and that I am on my own to service this mysefl. THEY NEVER INDICATED that those weeds were not servicable on my paperwork when they did apply fertilizer. They are crooks! Pest Control Service was Standard. After months of service, I cancelled the services. In May I also sold my home and called them to ensure services were cancelled. In June I get charged for a Pest Control Service on a home I dont own anymore, and they did NOTHING to help with refunding me for a service that I cancelled since I dont own that home anymore. even though I had called and cancelled both services. I gave myself 1 year to try out Luv A Lawn on my lawn. My Lawn was already in pretty good shape Id say B+/A- Lawn over 2 years following Scotts recommended scheduled treatments. Now that Im reaching the end of my annual with LAL its now a C/C- Lawn. I got my first txt contact today (almost 1 year) asking for additional optional treatments and of course leading to annual renewal. Ive owned 3 homes in FL since 97 did very well with TrueGreen and OK with Massey but mostly did self treating steps trusting Scotts from Home Depot did OK. However I wouldnt do Luv-A-Lawn again or recommend them at this point. No communication and the final fact that the lawn is worst off even after asking them if I should re-sod the bad spots before we started. My response from owner reply: I got the very 1st voice call ever (1 year of services) from Luv-a-Lawn shortly after this post with a voicemail saying Im calling you today because we received the low score on our NPS survey... I called them back today with no-one available to take my call to share my experience to your management. My #1 issue was lack of communication. This is my honest rating here to share with all your future potential customers the lack of communication I experienced with this company. It is most likely due to paying for the year in advance. With that said if you are a customer or potential customer know you will want to ask for continued communication from your assigned person.

I have a home in the Orlando area and started using LuvALawn for lawn and shrub service a few years ago. At first they did a good job. In fact, many of my neighbors and friends started using LuvALawn after asking us who we use. Unfortunately, things went down hill over time. Just recently, things really tanked. First, the shrub service damaged many of our shrubs using a bad batch of something. Although the tech was honest about the fact that their chemicals caused the problem, the company played games and refused to acknowledge the issue. Interestingly, that tech no longer works with the company. About that same time, our lawn has really gone down hill. It is full of weeds, has yellowing areas that died out from fungus, and dead areas of grass. We asked for them to address the issues and they sent out a tech who haphazardly rode around and treated random bands on the lawn. You could see the weeds yellowing in the places he treated - but most of the lawn was not done. Only a few random paths. We called again and they said they would send someone out. They never did. Worse yet, we got an e-mail from them saying the tech came out and treated and assessed (complete with detailed notes). This is just plain fraud. No one ever came. Our house is covered all around by security cameras. I can be patient with those who are trying. I can t accept people who don t care - or worse yet, lie. No one ever came! I am done with them. Buyer beware. I will be canceling my service. No need to have a manager reach out. I don t want anything else from you. You ve taken enough of my money and caused enough damage. Even when I reached out and talked to a manager, the problems weren t solved. You had several years to prove yourself and all you ve proven is that you don t care and that you are willing to lie to avoid accountability. I m out.

Since I ve been using Luv-A-Lawn, my lawn and plants have flourished. Their technician,Ty, is very knowledgeable and takes the time to address your concerns. He explains all the steps necessary to achieve the perfect lawn. We are back enjoying our lawn pest free! Thank you!

Not recommended. My lawn not improved nothing. Save your money. My dog did better job keeping my grass healthy and greener.

After three services my lawn looks worse than what it looks when I hired them. First the technician stain my driveway, sidewalk and pavers. Second the technician said he went to clean the areas with stain but my security cameras never got him around my house, only the one in front when he parked. Third, the field manager promised after I talked with him over the phone that the technician was going to be at my house first thing in the morning. I waited until noon the date of the service and nobody showed up. When I call the field manager his excuses was that the system was down. Now I got several areas with burned grass, my irrigation turned on twice a week running about 30 minutes per zone and the technician verified my system and said it was OK. The same field manager came to my house today and his answer to the burned grass was I dont know what happened and his solution was sending the technician again to fertilizer the whole lawn, its not that what he supposed to do anyway?....Ive cancel my service and now I have to deal with a grass burned.

I bought a new build home back in July, after months of the grass having a hard time growing despite watering I had Johnathan from luv a lawn come out and the grass is amazing after only a month. Well worth the money for the results you ll get.

Jake left a flyer on my door and I switched lawn companies on a whim and they have completely turned my lawn around. I saw a difference in the color within 48 hours. Jake has even stopped by to check on the lawn when he is nearby. You can tell lawns are his passion, and it s always a joy to see someone doing what they love. Thanks Jake from Luv-A-Lawn!

Ineffective, a waste of time & money. We had Luv-a-Lawn for close to a year. During the first 6 months, we paid extra for them to come out every month. During that time the weeds in our lawn were mostly under control. However, in the last 6 months, they switched to their normal process (of visiting every other month). The weeds immediately came back and I found myself calling them every 30 days to come back. Their technician made the barest of minimal efforts. Further complaints include difficulty in contacting the office and an iffy website.

We have Luv-A-Lawn do our outdoor pest service as well as our Lawn service. Our lawn is looking amazing as they do very great job at. But today I had the outside pest control service performed at my house, and it was absolutely 5 stars service done by the tech(Kamarion). I did my walk around and looked at my soffits/facias and entry way etc. and he did an awesome job. Thank you. U may ask well that s not a huge deal, what made it a huge deal is the peace of mind that i know my tech did a great job when, I wasn t there to point my concerns out. Again Thank you.

Must say Luv a Lawn has done it again. Great company from friendly caring customer service (Angela) to tech services (Matt) and his attention to detail. Dont know much of your products but I do know they work to the upmost. Our infestation issues of insects etc was agressively worked on. Havent seen a bug since luv a lawn took over. Must mention Pablo who set me up from the very beginning and has lived up to the companys word and reputation. Thank you again for such an excelent team and fantastic service. Would not recommend. Similar to other reviews, had a horrible experience with them. Spent $15K on brand new lawn, hired them to maintain......year later sections of lawn need to be replaced due to grassy weeds. Service technicians are in and out on 10 mins just to be able to send a bill. Manager came out (Seth I think) and states there is nothing they could do. They definitely do not care about providing good customer service are more interested in just billing the monthly charge. Disappointing!

This people said they sprayed 50 Lbs - 0-0-62 7.50 Fluid Oz - Bifen-IT 7.50 Gal - Lesco Wet Plus 7.50 gallons - Micro-nutrients but when I look my house cameras they just walk with a small Spray pump sprayed a little bit and walked out , I don t believe that use all that they said use , and then you see my grass with uneven colors and bad weed all over the grass that why I m going to cancel the account

Wow! Within one month of using Luv a Lawn our grass and flower beds look better than ever!! 10/10 recommend. Their customer service is also really great. They suggested we set up the first service a few weeks after our last company came out and I m so glad they did because the last company treated our entire lawn in less than 3 minutes, aka they didn t do anything. When Luv a Lawn came, they took their time which was already a night and day difference from the last company and a month and half later my flower beds are sprouting flowers I didn t know I had, and my grass is now greener than my neighbors! If you re unhappy with your current lawn care provider, switch to Luv a Lawn, you won t regret it!

We had luv a lawn for one year. There pest control service was great but let me tell you there lawn service. It was TERRIBLE. I would call them every few months and have them come back out to spray the weeds. Over the year I used Luv a Lawn our grass never got better from weeds to patchy areas. I asked for the manager to call me and it now has been over 3 weeks with no response. Below look at the pictures of our weed infested lawn that we spend 1k on for Luv a Lawn to do nothing. I understand it takes time to get the lawn to look great but over the year all they would do is say they retreated the lawn but as you can see in the pictures there was tons of weeds.

We had Pablos visit to view and check for a quote on our lawn that needed help and really did a great job explaining the real problems we have with our lawn and as soon as tomorrow they will start working to help get back the lovely lawn we had.

I just began service so I cannot comment on the lawn care results yet, but so far I m very happy. Everyone I ve spoke to so far has been knowledgeable and kind. From the awesome person who answered my initial call and set up the appointment, to Christopher who came out to provide me a quote, to Shaun who came out to perform my initial service. I was initially worried about trying a new lawn company but I m very glad I made the decision to give Luv-a-lawn a try. I ll update this review at some point to comment on results. Edit: spelling

Hired LuvaLawn to take care of my zoysia lawn on a monthly plan. Almost a year later and my zoysia doesn t look any better. I called several times to question why my lawn has weeds, especially on a monthly plan, and they came back out and treated again and again with no results. The last treatment I witnessed their truck treating my property no more than 10-15 minutes. Don t know what happened to the quality of service I had with them previously but I heard that the original owners sold the company!

Excellent 5 star service always. I have been using Luv-A-Lawn for 7 years and my lawn and shrubs look beautiful. And my home is protected from the bugs

GREAT service! Professionals, reliable , helpful. They do a great job. Saw the difference in my property.

Awful. Don t recommend at all. We ve been using them for several years and not only have they increased their prices drastically (even for existing long-time customers, cost went up by $14 per service), but they ve been a complete waste of money. We still have ants coming in the house non-stop and we still have weeds growing in our grass! If you call they ll come out and spray again at no cost in between the scheduled service, but what s the point when we ve paid them thousands $$ over the years and all the issues we hired them for still persist? We ve been extremely patient and our issues weren t bad to begin with. I d say there has been less than a 10% improvement over the years.. Avoid them.

I had their service for a one year contract to keep the lawn pest free and pest control on the house. They did the outside house cleaning and spray twice when I was home. They arrived and finished in less than 15 minutes, probably because they didnt sweep the house properly or spay correctly. My lawn had one spot that was dying when they took over my property now there is about 5 or 6. I work out of town for months and I have two people who watch my house. Both of these individuals have texted me at work asking if I still had their service and I informed them I did. Come to find out when I got home I had more dead spots in my lawn. I did call them one time complaining and they came out and did a good job, I just dont have the time to monitor their employees poor performance and constantly call. I cancelled my service with two services left and was obviously told the I could not get a refund, oh well better to get someone qualified before the lawn is destroyed! Dont use this service! While the office personnel and the sales reps seem very cordial and courteous, there seems to be no supervision of the employees doing the service and they expect you to report on them. Richard Dewing called us up after we reached out about our new home needing to be taken care of for lawn and pest control. He called and we were already out running errands for the new house. He was completely accommodating and just told us to let him know when we were on our way and he would meet us there. After contacting him, he showed up five minutes after we arrived. He gave us the run down on the services and pricing, along with getting the services started immediately. We agreed on the price and he was able to get everything started tomorrow. Not only that, he has a list of contacts of other people that provide other services (lawn mowing, pool maintenance, etc.) that he was able to help us with. Being that we had a hard time finding someone to trim our grass during the renovation, he got someone to our house within an hour to appease the HOA. We look forward seeing the services provided to us and thank you Richard for being an amazing representative. We appreciate your work and dedication to customer service.

I recently switched over from a larger lawn/pest servicing competitor I have been with for almost ten years. The main reason is that my tech Carlos Perez who was with the prior company, left and came to work for Luv-A-Lawn. I can tell you people make the difference; when Carlos left last year, who replaced him did not have the same attention to detail and care, and when I would call to inquire about a particular issue, it would end up unresolved. When the service tech did come out, it wasnt, though, and the last visit ended with a damaged yard. Upon switching to Luv-A-Lawn, Carlos, the first service out, he walked the property with me, thoroughly explaining the issue he noticed and gave me the steps he would take to resolve it. He cares, and I am delighted to have made the switch. If youre like me and continually invest in the lawn of your home, then the details matter. Having someone knowledgeable and caring is so important in such a competitive market. I would give Luv-a-Lawn a 10 out of 10, and I will be with them for the long haul. Please pass this along to your team; Carlos deserves praise for the hard work he provides. My only gripe was taking too long to make the switch; I should have done this months ago!

I used luv a lawn in in another house and we used it for a year and I loved it , we were able to see our grass grow to beautiful, now in this new house we went for it again. And I am very disappointed with this we prepaid so I can t cancel because that s how confident I was and our grass is still needing improvement , after the third treatment we seen it at old house , this is our fourth and I don t see much of difference. The grass that was semi dead seems worst , I am still outside constantly pulling out weeds , I had to replace grass because it was so dead . Just so disappointed with this.

The worst service I have ever hired in my life, instead of taking care of my garden they completely damaged it, I had 4 cypress Italian tree and the product they used to fumigate them completely burned them, my trees were beautiful and they dried up, don t use this company if you love your garden!

Im lucky to have Andrew Tannus as my Tech. He is hardworking, attentive and polite. Most companies today need employees like him. I thought about leaving Luv-A-Lawn and doing it myself. However, having Tech Tannus changed my mind. Overall, I have had good luck with this company compared to the others like Massey and Pest Patrol.

I usually dont write the review. This is the first review I wrote. They told me that they would called me the day before when the technician comes to take care my lawn. I did not received the phone call last July and August. Recently, they changed by sending text message the day before, I did not recent a text message today. No text message. In addition, I requested for lawn service on Saturday because the water of irrigation will run early on Sunday. No, the technician came today, Monday instead of Saturday. They take care my lawn the last day of the last week of the month. Now they take the first day of the third week of month. My lawn is not good either. I will never recommend this company to any one.

LAST UPDATE: You Will think that after so many times voicing my concerns to not only the tech but the supervisor they will get it together, nope true disappointment. I have been a long term customer at least over 10 years, on auto pay but they lost my business. I just hired another company, I continue to have issues with my grass and I m so tired of having to reach out to them instead of they being proactive and addressing the problem areas, I am not going to sit around waiting for my grass to get worsen before it gets better. UPDATE: it s been a couple of months since I shared my concerns, I will have to say that the service has improved. My bushes are getting treated and I can see the improvement. Not 100% yet but the issue it s been resolved. *********************************************** UPDATE: manager came to site to see my concerns, he only made excuses, he assured me that the tech would be back on site to complete the job, but he never returned, he told me he did not wanted to loose me as a customer, I m which I responded to make it right, and fix the problem, he stated I would return if not this week the one after that and I will bring grass to patch the open areas end damaged grass I m still waiting I wanted to give an opportunity to make it right and stay with the company, I realized is time to shop around for another company that cares. Here is my concern, I have been receiving service from this company for over 5 years and at first they were on point. But their service has declined over the years, the representative that comes to my home is cutting corners and I have brought it to his supervisor attention and it has not been address. This person claims that he does not goes to my back yard because of my dogs,my dogs are never outside unless I m there. I m paying for a full service which I m not receiving, I m tired of coming home when my service was done and rewind cameras only to noticed the tech cutting corners. The fact that this is not my first concern tells me is time to shop around for a more reliable service. I also have grass patches in several areas of my lawn and it has not been addressed, things continue to be overlooked.

Weve been with luvalawn since we got our house and they treat us with professionalism, excellency and they are always in communication with us. We started with Kip taking a great care of our lawn, then we add the pest control and termite services with Jake and Seth. Being new to FL, I was unsure of whom to use. The bigger company, TG that calls you 1000 times a day and sends a million flyers to your mailbox, but doesn t think it s necessary to come out and do an assessment, but are quick to take your credit card did not sit well with me. I was referred to Luv-a lawn from my landscaper. L-A-L came out, did an assessment, told me what my grass would need and then went over everything. Everything has been going great and my grass is one of the best in the Community. I just had a minor issue with some browning in a particular area and wanted them to come and see what the issue was. The rep on the phone apologized to me (although not his fault what was happening ) and told me the supervisor would call me back and he did! He said he would come by and he did! Now that is service! He asked the necessary questions, got on his hands and knees to show me what was good and what wasn t and explained everything in detail. I feel much better. Especially since changing to St. Augustine from that horrible Bahia, I was really concerned, but Pedro eased my concerns. I definitely recommend.

Terrible costumer service. Office personnel is rude and provide erroneous information. They lack knowledge regarding the field they work in. They say they come out to do service but security cameras prove otherwise. We have asked to speak to a manager and were told we would have to wait 24 to 48 hours and since it is Friday, we might need to wait longer. The only ones that actually want to help are the guys that come out to do the service... but the products they use do not work.

The drivers are dangerous this morning I was driving with my 4 year old in the vehicle this morning on Moss Park road by the Elemtary School. A Young man ran a stop sign while I was just driving straight so he can go into a gated community and service them. I had the right away. He started yelling and threatening us while I was in my car with my daughter. The drivers should use a Garmin or some type of recording device so they could monitor this type of behavior. Very disgusting behavior and unprofessional.

Luv a Lawn has provided such great service. Our technician Kip Wessel always communicates and gives us recommendations on lawn care. Prior to luv a lawn our lawn was in horrible condition from dry spots and an enormous amount of dollar weeds. After committing to monthly lawn care the condition of our lawn has significantly improved. We have a corner lot and our grass looks phenomenal. Thanks Kip for your extraordinary service.

Stay away from this company, Absolutely disaster , they had my account for more then two years for 60/month And end of the day my lawn is still full of weed, no new grass were growing, would never use them again, rather pay more and get a better company.
