For the last several years, I've worked with Mike & his team as they create an indoor patio for an annual Home Show event in Central MN that is hosted in March at our Convention Center. The MC's team works hard hauling in and setting up pavers for the community to enjoy, knowing that in just a couple of days they will disassemble the patio and remove it. Not only do the results show the perfection of their work, but it's also very apparent, through the hard work and consistent positive attitude of the team, that Mike creates a fun workplace environment and sets a great example of excellence. A great trusted partner that can be counted on to get the results you're looking for in your next lawn or landscaping project!
We hired Mike and his crew to do some major landscaping projects including retaining walls, sidewalks and a patio along with placing a rock rip-rap around a shed. We are extremely happy with the results of everything they did. Mike takes great pride in the workmanship and attention to detail in all that they do. In a time when it’s hard to find good help Mike is blessed with an awesome work crew that shows up, are very professional and hard working and are very experienced! Mikes customer service skills and tireless drive to make the consumer happy are second to none. We can’t say enough positive things about Mike and his excellent team!
Mike and his crew did a fantastic job of building our patio! We were especially impressed with how Mike worked right along with the guys. He seemed to have a great rapport with his employees and didn't hesitate to compliment them. Each crew member was well-trained and seemed to know and be able to perform every facet of the landscaping process. Before leaving the worksite each day and while working throughout the day, all the crew members (including Mike) helped clean up around the yard as much as could be done. We were amazed at how organized Mike and his crew were; all the equipment, tools, and materials that were needed for each day of the building process were available to get the job done efficiently. We would definitely hire Mike and his crew again if need be. The only problem we encountered was that, because they are in such high demand, it took quite a while before they could begin our project. Nevertheless, we whole-heartedly believe that it was well worth the wait!
These guys did an amazing job of testing out old landscaping and the ugly sloping concrete slab we had on our patio. They worked with us to expand our patio and worked with the pre-existing landscaping we wanted to keep. The crew was amazing; professional, kind and hard working.
This past summer I hired Mike & his team to put in rock & plants around my house, along with a small paver patio. My husband & I couldn't be happier with the results! They did an outstanding job & went beyond our expectations. They were professional, reliable, & I enjoyed working with them. The project turned out amazing. We have used MC’s for 10+ years. He has completed sidewalks, retaining walls, landscaping, pool/patio landscaping, fire pit, spring/fall cleanup and mowing and plowing services. Mike and his crew’s attention to detail, professionalism, clean-up, quality, design suggestions are the best in this industry. We continue to use their services year round. Recently with the Feb snowstorm the Plow man took extra effort and time to shovel by garage doors and steps. Was really impressed and appreciated the extra effort considering he had probably been up all night plowing. Thank you!

What a wonderful landscaping company. They do phenomenal work from start to finish. Arrived each day by 7:30 ready to get started. At the end of the day, they did such a remarkable job cleaning up the work area.They replaced a worn dilapidated wooden retaining wall with a beautiful Versa-Lok system. Looks absolutely amazing. I highly recommend MC Landscaping for any of your landscaping needs. It was a pleasure to work with such a professional and knowledgeable team.

Very professional and does amazing work.
I have had Mike and his crew do different projects over the past few years. They have done numerous things for us including seeding, rock/plant install, pavers, and a retaining wall. They do great work and are very affordable. I highly recommend them and I will be calling them again when I build my new home in the next few years!

MCs demo & reinstalled my brick patio. Reusing my functional patio brick saved us $$$! They showed up as promised. While encountering a major & unexpected issue during demo, Mikes necessary upcharge was thoughtful and fair. Even his good faith estimate was kept in the face of rising prices. His crew of friendly guys with mad skills worked like a well-oiled machine. If you dont get MCs lawn and landscaping out to work on your project, youll regret it! We had Mike and his crew do the landscaping for our home we recently built. We are new to the area so we were a bit nervous contracting with someone we knew nothing about. So his positive reviews definitely gave him the job. They did wonderful work. Very punctual getting it completed at a reasonable expense. Couldn t be more pleased with contracting with this business. Terrible customer service
We called Mike to come and take a look at our front yard and walkway as we were looking to correct some dips that had formed over the years and to improve the overall appearance of our yard. He came by right away and provided some great insight as to what we could do, what would look best, and what would be the easiest to maintain. He got us on the schedule and a few weeks later we were ready to go. The guys on the crew did such a fantastic job and we found ourselves with a totally new front yard in less than 2 days! Very pleasant experience and Im certain well come back to MCs when its time to redo the back yard!
The crew did a great job with our shoreline boulder work; the sand & sod by the lake. I was very impressed with how they installed the boulder retaining wall and the cut-boulder steps going up our 18 high slope up to our cabin. Very professional and responsive crew. Willing to take care of details and also give an overall project that looks Great! It exceeded my expectations.
They exceeded our expectations! The project turned out better than i could of imagined. The work is impeccable and was quickly done. We will use them in all future projects and would highly recommend.
I first contacted Mike about replacing our boulder wall with cement blocks in the fall of 2021. Great reviews. Seemed like a nice guy. Got a reasonable estimate to me within a week. I told him to put us on his list for 2022. Numerous emails from me in 2022 asking about estimated start date. Always was in a month or so. Project did not get done in 2022. Spring 2023 I emailed again asking about an estimated start date. Seems our project wasnt a high priority for him, so it kept getting postponed. I was assured that my project would get done this year. Havent heard ANYTHING since. He probably does good work, but be prepared to wait if he deems your project not pressing. I worked with another contractor who got our project DONE in a day and a half after only 4 months wait (at a comparable price).

Mike and his crew were absolutely amazing to work with. The quoting process was seamless and they did exactly what was asked, while being prompt and professional. Even with changes being made half ways through, they got the job done with ease. We are extremely happy with everything they did to divert water and fix our boulder rock retaining walls.
