Follow-Up to Review and Response Below: offering a discount on a future move is not an appropriate response to someone you overcharged in the first place. The only appropriate remedy is an immediate refund. My experience with His Workmanship to help me move my daughters started off well. I was impressed their responsiveness and appreciated their Christian roots. Unfortunately, I feel like a got a bit of a bait and switch from them. I gave the owner a downpayment equivalent to the first hour of labor for his team and was told I would pay the remainder to the movers upon completion of the work. Note that they have a 3 hour minimum for moving support. I later had to reschedule the work which cost me another deposit equal to one hour of moving. The movers that came were great and did their work efficiently. In fact they completed their work in just over 1 hour (75 minutes). Upon completion they told me I needed to pay them for the full 3 hours of pay plus $40 for gas. When I was unable to reach the owner on the day of the move for clarity, I happily obliged and paid the fine gentlemen that helped us move figuring the owner would credit me for the deposit that I had given him. No such luck! Instead he offered to give me a discount on my next move. At this point I've paid for the equivalent of 5 hours of moving time and received 75 minutes of service. I recognize 1 of those hours that I paid is dues to my rescheduling. The other 1 I clearly was overcharged for. My counsel is to make sure to get in writing all of the fees you will be asked to pay and know that this "Christian" organization will not do the right thing in the end if they over-charge you unless you book another service with them in the future.
We, my wife and I, hired 3 movers to move two couches, two recliners, and two wooden movie storage cabinets. If the movers have extra time, they can do other tasks too, like assemble a 3 tier shelf that we had not found the time to assemble ourselves yet and really any small-ish task that you can instruct them to do, they are ready and willing to work the entire time they are there. I think that even if you have to provide them tools they would do tasks that they were confident enough to feel that they could accomplish in the time frame they are hired for.
I was especially impressed with the employees you sent. They were two very nice young men. They worked hard the whole time they were here. It was a very hot day. They did a good job. I am totally pleased.
The His Workmanship group did a great job from end to end. I had another company back out at the last minute, and His Workmanship was willing to take on the job on very short notice. The company is very responsive and responsible. The two individuals who helped me move were great! I would highly recommend the His Workmanship group for any project.

My family has hired His Workmanship twice—once for moving and then most recently for landscaping rock removal. The staff have been on time, professional, hardworking, and courteous. Communication via their website form (to submit a job request) and email (to confirm job details) has been very prompt. Great experiences with this business!
Simply put, excellent. I cannot speak highly enough about His Workmanship. Professional from my first contact. Eric responded immediately. I was able to schedule my requested job very quickly. And the two young men who were sent to my location were on time, polite, enthusiastic, and fast. They did a better job than all the other landscape companies with whom I have worked. I highly recommend them.
We had a positive experience with His Workmanship last summer and invited them back for other yard projects this spring. They are great communicators, diligent workers, and polite and punctual folks. We highly recommend them and plan to have them back this summer for more work.

We hired this business to move a small apartment across the apartment complex. In the end they took a little longer than expected and I had to pay extra. Part of that was the movers walking the couch all the way down the wrong hallway and back which totally added 20 minutes to the move. They also broke a piece of furniture-knowingly- and didn t say anything to me about it. I found it later.
Danny and Caleb were awesome. On time and hard working all they way through. They were careful with loading and unloading our furniture. Very personable and professional. Will highly recommend again!!!

My garden beds were overwhelming with weeds and growth after our hot weather. The workers from His Workmanship came in and cleared them up in short order. They also helped plant a dozen hosta under my spruce trees. It was easy peasy for them to break through the roots. It was truly a blessing having them come and tame my garden beds! Thank you so much!

The guys were fantastic. It was a very hot day, out AC wasnt working and they just kept chugging along. They encouraged us to use them for whatever we needed for the entire time we paid for. Very impressed with their hard work and it was very reasonable compared to other moving companies.

This experience laid alot of anxiety at rest. I needed grading done at my home and snow is coming in 4 days. I couldnt get anyone to respond to my plea for help. It was too wet or they were done for the season. I took a chance and filled out a work form online for His Workmanship and the response was immediate!! Kody came out to help me we within 24 hrs and the job was done with professionalism and was done so neatly u cant tell anyone was there. I will always use them and recommend them. Needed manual labor/landscaping crew in a hurry. The 3 gents that did the job were on time, worked exceptionally hard, and were true professionals. I ll absolutely use this company again. Great experience and great value. Hire them. You will be pleased.
