Unsolicited sales calls after Ive repeatedly asked to stop. Brett is very rude when asking to stop being called. Pretty unprofessional for someone representing a corporation to act in such manner.

We like MALIKK and having the same specialist for the 3rd time builds trust and respect. Last year we had someone different each application and it was a mess. We would still like a sign in the yard indicating chemicals for pet owners and a paper on our door. Other than that, all good. Our yard looks great!

I went online for an estimate and it took forever for them to give a quote when they advertised 2 min quote. When I finally called and they gave me a number, I told them I wanted to go over with my wife, phone rep Alfonso insisted on me putting a credit card on file. Really unprofessional!

Do not even quote with these people they buy and sell your information. Find some local guys to do your lawn work who specialize in lawn care not deceptive marketing practices.

We also get shrub maintenance. Service sort of dumped on us because our original service company went out of business. After two years of service and personal experiences, I can safely say we are going to continue with TruGreen for at least another year or two. They call you a day or two before they are scheduled to come, and leave a service receipt for services applied. Came back a couple of times because of some damn summer grass or whatever it is that appears every Spring. They seemed concerned, but remember it is the service agent that does the work, and we have been very pleased with them. Good luck!

Professional, reliable and reasonable price

If you do not go with their service, they will harass you everyday several times a day. Multiple calls a day and multiple salesman visiting your home even though youve told them youre no longer interested. To me, that tells me they care more about making money and less about taking care of their customers

Past customer, if you want to spend 600-800 for a service where they show up and leave in under 5 mins go for it. All the techs are timed per job so they rush thru them. Yard, I caught them only spraying a small portion of my 3/4 acre lot, when I brought it to there attention I was told that I needed to call to have more time added to the job, came multiple times with literally a small spray pump since the equipment was broke. Mosquito control, used to be good, now it s a rush rush spray and when it goes empty they just keep spraying so they don t have to come back and forth! Because they use incompetent workers I had multiple flower beds killed, including a full garden! They did offer to replace them but once they got the cost they just stop responding! Recommendation is to stay away from them for all services! They are a nightmare to get refunded and unless you wanna babysit and call them after every visit find anyone else to do this !!!!

Been with them about 8 years they have done a good job controlling the weeds they could use just a little bit more fertilizer also pre-emergent in the spring because sometimes I have an abundance of crabgrass

I changed my lawn care just this year and I can already tell it was a smart choice. Other neighbors have even noticed.

Despite the poor reviews from others, I wanted to give this company a chance. There was a huge disconnect on my needs signing up and what was delivered despite what the initial tech said he would do, The final straw (like others here) is that they did services multiple, indicated all the weeds they treated yet have no weeds in my yard. The tech is on video showing up, remaining in vehicle 30+ minutes (during the time they were rendering services as documented on the service ticket) and no video indicates they did any of that. Customer service stated that was un-acceptable and scheduled a free re-service to which I declined. No outreach from the branch to apologize nor even to review the camera footage. Seems to be a common theme. I would not recommend to anyone. Also spare the bs we want to make it right response. I spent hours on the phone to remedy the situation.

Always have to respray

The tech was very helpful and gave us some insight on how to get our lawn back in shape. He also had some great ideas on landscaping for own lawn.

Not sure about all of the TruGreen providers, but I can say this much about Wright Citys providers. CROOKS! Lets just start from the beginning, first service the guy never even got out of his truck, just sat in front of my house arguing on his phone with someone then left and billed me. Second service was supposed to be free in regard to not being satisfied about the guy not doing my yard the first time. That actually never happened they waited a month then charged me again calling it the free service... in which the guy literally only did the perimeter of my yard.... you can tell because the only part of my lawn growing was the outside perimeter... specifically 2-3 inches longer than the rest of my yard. Then after finally getting them to properly address the issues I had, yesterday they came out and applied an extra service and charged me for it that was not requested. In fact, the sales rep trying to sell me that service was directly told no and not to bother me with any add-ons for my service. These people have now actually damaged my lawn because they over fertilized and area and burned all the grass. I honestly suggest taking care of your lawn yourself its 1/2 the price and it will actually be done correctly and timely.

Do not submit a request for a quote, they will stalk you with 10 different phone numbers. They change the numbers and area codes so you cant block them. For your own sanity, stay away!!!

It was pretty simple and I understood what the treatment was all about.

They did send someone to address my issue a couple weeks ago but crabgrass still present. Today she reapplied. Hope it works.

Tyler arrived and explained the plan for my lawn. He advised it was too hot for grub control but said he would get the weed control and fertilizer down. He also gave me suggestions on cutting and watering my yard. I am very pleased.

The absolute worst customer service I have experienced in a very long time. The WORST! I am upset that I even have to rate them a 1 (St Charles Missouri Branch). Do you yourself a favor and stay very far away from this office, here is why: 1- The amount of weeds in the lawn is unbelievably horrible looking (I have worked with Lawn DR and Weedman for years and Tru Green service and quality pails in comparison). See attached picture! What a disaster!!! 2 - They have charged me the wrong amount 3 times in 3 months. 3 - They charged me claiming they did a seed and aeration on my lawn - they did not - in fact my home is being renovated and a pool put in the back - 75% of what was my lawn is dirt. They did not seed and aerate!!! yet charged me for it! 4- They went 10 weeks between applications. If I hadnt called them to inquire when my service would take place - I dont think they ever would have showed up! 5 - I have called them 4 times now (you can not call the local branch only a national call center) and asked to have a manager call me - I have done this 4 times now and even asked the service tech to please have the manager call me - this is the 4th week and I have yet to receive a phone call. Last week the women i spoke with in the call center promised she would contact the manager ASAP and have her call me - still waiting!!! Do yourself a favor and stay far away from Tru Green!!! I can not think of a worse customer service experience and such poor quality experience in the past 10 years!! The absolute worst!!!

The service person that took care of my lawn today is very nice and does a good job of making sure the lawn work is done correctly.

Today, the specialist Woodrow was very efficient and covered my entire property. He did not have a problem opening my gate latch as other tech had who really did not give much effort. The overall quality of Trugreen lawn products are very good and has helped my lawn stay green and healthy. You really have to stay in top of the services being provided. I had two technicians put me down for service that was not provided. Luckily I have cameras all over my property to see what is going on. Overall, I highly recommend Trugreen.

One of your workers went through a red light this morning at 70 west and Bryan Rd at 7:35 in your truck and then flipped us off! I called to let you know and was put on hold so long that I hung up. Not a good representation of your business and dangerous!

Jeremy B. did a tremendous job aerating and seeding my lawn today! It was obvious he takes pride in his work.

Had a good discussion with the 2 technicians who were here. A couple of things. The print out left on the door handle says I have approx 9900 Sq ft. But I actually have approx 11000 Sq ft. And I added a privacy fence and that can be confusing because I have lawn inside the fence, and lawn outside the fence, and I have to remind the technicians to hit my lawn outside the fense.

I am giving one star as there s no negative rating available. These guys damaged my lawn beyond repair and I had to pay 1800$ out of my pocket to get there mess fixed. Worst company. Don t trust their sales people.

We have used true green for years and it helps keep our yard looking better. They are always professional and on time. They often send the same technician who treats our yard as if it is his. We appreciate their service!

They tried to skip overfeeding my backyard since the machine didnt fit through my gate. I called in, and they are coming back at the end of the week to actually overseed it. If I didnt have a camera, they would have just skipped it. It takes 5 min to do a push spreader. Im very disappointed that they tried to pull one over on me. Hopefully the service gets better since I signed up for a year. Im disappointed I have to keep an eye on them now...

Reviews are very accurate truegreen workers will put that they came out when they in fact did not. I had one worker mark that the work had been complete but the only thing he did was sit in his car then left. I only know this to be true because I was at home at this time. Also have to be careful about this company because they will come out and only do the front of your yard and not the back. At this point I really should just cancel the service.

Truegreen has turned my mediocre lawn to one of th best in the neighborhood. 4acres of grass folks. Lots of weeds to start. In 3 Years they got the grass growing good and the weeds under control. A lawn is not a short term project, it takes time and commitment. Nice job. Recommend for long term care to get to a lawn that is a showcase.

Started a lawn plan back in March and have been having trouble contacting them and getting details about treatment. We ve had 2 treatments so far and was home today during one of them and come to find out, they ve never actually treated our yard (have security cameras in front and back) but have just pulled up to the house and put a bill and treatment receipt on the door. He never once touched the yard!!! I was wondering why I didn t see any granules or anything the first time. This time he was even supposed to aerate and seed ha! I called and left a message for the supervisor because we are being scammed. Absolutely horrible for how much we ve spent so far. Will never use them or recommend them to anyone again.

Apparently 50% off your first application means they only treat 50% of your yard... **EDIT** They came and retreated after the unacceptable first application, if I can even call it that. They sprayed a huge hose of liquid on a gusty day and now half my garden is dead. Im talking edible herb garden, Catnip, mint, and all my delicate rubbery plants like bleeding hearts and Peonys. Completely unacceptable, God only knows what my young trees planted in the middle if the yard will look like in a few weeks. If I wanted to kill my stuff, I couldnt done it myself for a whole lot cheaper. If I could take away stars I would.

Ive been using Trugreen for years. They are a very consistent professional service, reasonably priced and reliable.

I have requested a phone call from the manager for 3 weeks on 4 occasions and no one has called. Driver came and put sign in yard squirted both sides of driveway and left as I am doing with TruGreen. We were not home and it is sad when you have to be here to ensure that what we pay good money for is not done unless overseen and worse yet the value as a customer is 0.

I think the service was very good and helpful. The technician was knowledgable and answered all of my questions.

We asked TruGreen to come out last summer, primarily to deal with some weeds that we couldn t seem to get a handle on. They came out, assessed our yard and assured us that everything would be great within a year. A year later, we canceled service and were incredibly disappointed. They often failed to communicate when they were coming. They didn t return calls promptly. And despite the fact that they advertised personalized service to meet our yard s specific needs, we had just as many weeds (if not more) a year later. After we canceled, they came out unannounced for another service and then tried to bill us. We do not recommend this company at all.

Lawn technician damaged the grass. Very difficult to get Tru Green to repair area they themselves damaged.

They where amazing and so friendly and answered all of our questions and never made us feel like we where in the way or anything I will always call them !

Worse service possible. Will not respond to problems. Supervisor does not even show up to appointments.

They worker comes out and do nothing. I have more weeds in my yard than before I started their service. The guy that doing the work try to put it on my lawn guy, that cut my yard, when I know he clean his lawn mower before he starts to cut my yard and he got mad when I brought it to his attention. I have a bush on the side of my house to get back at me, i know he spray it now it dying. Theyre a mess ..l love my yard but now it cover with weeds because they did not treat my yard right poor worker.

TruGreen does not appear to be a value-added part of my homeownership. Initial text stating tech is at my house for aeration and overseeding. Guy sat in truck for 30 minutes, then left without doing anything. Called to reschedule and specifically stated that I could not have it done on a certain day... of course it gets scheduled for that day. Have to go through the hassle to get it re-rescheduled. Guy finally comes out this morning, only does the front yard (about 2500 sq feet) and leaves the notice stating he used 50 lbs of seed and did 12311 sq feet (my property isnt that big...) Did not TOUCH the backyard. Did not attempt to communicate that he may or may not need a gate opened. Nope. 5 minutes of work and left a note on the door saying he did everything.

Fertilization

Treatments were rushes, spots were missed consistently. They provided a re-service to correct the missed spot at the end of the summer which resolved most of the spots that I had marked which proves those spots had been missed multiple times before.

Technicians are very professional and friendly. They respect your property and your time. My lawn looks healthy and beautiful.

Wish I would have read the reviews before going with them. Guess Im not the first to experience this issue. Always questioned what they did after they arrived. Today I was home. They were for 7 minutes. Never left the truck. Viewed the report after completed. Stated they applied fertilizer. Now I know what they do once they arrive, nothing. Then charge your credit card. My agreement has been cancelled.

My neighbors yard, that uses TruGreen, doesnt look bad. But please dont come knocking on my door to sell your service. Your sales person marked up my white door frame with his permanent red marker today while leaving the door hanger.

Original review: Started my service with them and they did the pre emergent weed treatment. Here is what it looks like 3 weeks later. According to my dad he only observed them spraying 20 to 30% of the entire property, if that. I now have one small chunk of grass that is weed free (where my dad said they sprayed). I am attempting to talk to customer service and the wait is 2 hours. BEWARE! ALSO TAKE A LOOK AT ALL MY OTHER REVIEWS. Nothing is 1 star.

The moment they started, they used the wrong fertilizer. This killed all the grass and left only dandelions in the yard. I requested to speak to a manger. The rep on the phone was very rude and kept talking over me. He told me he couldnt get me to a manager its like asking him to grow wings and fly. I had to hang up and call back again. It then took a couple weeks to get a call back. When the manager showed up at my house he was also really unprofessional. He talked over me continuously and was very loud. My husband came to my rescue. His attitude changed then. I have never worked with such an unprofessional company before. They have taken no responsibility even though I have the work orders stating they put the wrong fertilizer on my yard. I would not recommend this company, its like paying someone to destroy your yard. Their response was to send an email in which I already did two weeks ago and no one has responded to it yet.

This is a company you should not do business with. They do not show up and when they do they do not treat the yard fully. I asked someone to spray for weeds and I was told that they were laying a weed and feed. This was not the case it was only fertilizer. I have been trying to get the weeds sprayed in my yard for a month with no luck. Customer service is very poor a lot of I am unable to do that. Save your money and time and go with a local company.

I have 2 properties and only asked them to cut one yard. Then he told me he was going to cut the other yard so that it would make the first yard look better after I told him to only cut one yard. I instructed them to notify me before they got ready to cut a second time. I have locks on my gate only to find out they came a second time, cut the yard and Im still trying to figure out how they got through the gate, but I paid. They use a riding lawn mower and when trying to get it up on the curb they cracked/broke the concrete on the walkway. I was sent an invoice for one price, in which I paid, then I was sent a letter from collections about an invoice I never received . How is it that you send a letter to collections without sending me an invoice of this new mysterious amount. I contacted the company and was told Laura (whomever the manager is) would give me a call. I STILL have NOT received a call from the manager. No one expects to pay for a service in full, then receive a letter from collections about paying extra money I knew nothing about and when I called to get clarification, I didnt get a response. Not to mention they broke up my concrete, said nothing about it and they came when I didnt ask them to. I will be contacting the BBB due to their lack of communication, lack of integrity and the fact that they refuse to return my call yet they quickly contacted collections . Typically you contact collections when you cant get intouch with the person that owes you money, but I tried to reach out for clarity several times and still havent received a call. This company can destroy peoples property with their equipment yet, I owe them money?No one said anything to me about what they did to my property. $58 to collections and I still havent heard back from the manager.

This guy came to my house. I have. Cameras and I watched his performance. He was done in 3 minutes hit and miss. Then they have the nerve to send me a text that this same guy diagnosed my trees needing care at a cost of $250. This is a joke

Prepaid for a years service upfront. They came out and did 2 treatments. after two weeks the laws looked worse then when they started. I requested they come out and do another treatment. first time was a no-show. I called and they rescheduled, again no-show. I called again and canceled my service but they wouldnt refund the first 2 treatments. My lawn looks 10x time worse then before they did the treatments. I think the killed my grass and fertilized the weeds. unbelievable

Poor customer service.

I cancelled my service after 3 out of 4 bad service events. Two of them killed my yard plants and not my weeds and one they reported they came and did not show.

They hit my mailbox and are giving me the run around on replacing it. They asked me if i know anyone who could fix it? What?

Truegreen is always consistent and timely. My grass always looks plushy, green and has no weed. The price is also reasonable.

The service itself, along with the folks who show up at your home, is great. However, be aware of their auto renew policies. You prepay for a deal they give you, and when its up, they keep showing up to your house. They then charge you full price. Of course, you can call and yell and them and they will knock the price back down. However, the people who sell you the original price never tell you about auto renew.

I wouldnt recommend this company to any on. A very rude and unprofessional company. Very displeased

Weeds were never taken care of, called multiple times. They didnt show up when they were supposed to.

We have had TruGreen treating our yard for several years. Our last scheduled service visit they never arrived yet billed me for and I had to call to have them come out again. For our aeration I was unaware they were coming to mark our sprinkler heads. The overall aeration was good. However they didnt have seed. I had to call and schedule a follow up service call to have the seed put down. The last 2 scheduled appointments were a little frustrating this year.

Google keeps asking me to review this, so here is my main reason as to why I cancelled/fired them: Imagine having a few sprinklers setup in your yard on a timer while you re out of town. Now imagine TruGreen rolling in to do aeration/seeding of your lawn. I m not a professional landscaper/lawn specialist, but common sense tells me to put the sprinklers back where they were when you finish up, not throw one in the front bushes and lay the other one on my patio so it waters the patio/back of the house. On top of that, they said they would refund the service at first, then changed their offer to refunding if I stayed with them. It s not about the money, it s about the service. It shouldn t have been a question, it should have been an apology, refund, and an offer to do X/assurance it wouldn t happen again going forward, versus providing a general feeling that it was quite possibly your fault. I was a customer for 2+ years, so I m fairly loyal until it s demonstrated that my business isn t important. Good luck folks, I don t think your business model will hold up with execution such as this.

They do not show up for the scheduled appointments. They have missed 3 appointments for aeration and overseeding originally scheduled 2 weeks ago. There was also another no show for a service earlier this season that I was charged for.

I have paid for this service for the last 6 months. Today, I literally watched MELVIN M circle in our cal de sac, leave, then report that he completed the work but didn t knock on our door due to social distancing . I called the 800 number immediately to file a complaint. I will be cancelling, and suggest you use a different company that monitors what kind of employees they hire to go do the work.

Tru green rutted my lawn cut my sprinkler and Jeff promise to repair it several times and it has never been repaired.

After having trugreen for a year our yard is in worse shape than ever before. The only thing they could offer was getting the next months treatment for free. We have large bald mud pits in our yard thanks to them. stay away if you like your grass.

GREAT Customer Service and BEST part is our lawn looks AWESOME! We had Tee Time lawn care last year, it was a nightmare! I highly recommend TruGreen!

I used the app to get an idea of what they charge At around 6 pm. I decided it was more than I wanted to spend so I simply deleted the app. I got called 4 times that night. Only 1 person left a message. By noon the next day Id received an additional 6 calls, and one of those was after the local manager placed me on the do not call list and after I called the corporate headquarters to be placed on the do not contact list. Ill never recommend even expressing interest in them, unless you want your phone to ring incessantly.

the person who sprayed my yard also sprayed some landscape flowers they started to curl up called trugreen said a supervisor would call in 24 to 48 hrs no call called back 3 days later still no call poor customer service

My lawn has shown tremendous improvement since TruGreen has made 2 application treatments for weeds! My lawn is looking a whole lot better ... after 2 treatments, no weeds growing like mad...I am very pleased. I just had them spray for insects & mosquitos. I am very pleased with the service TruGreen provides!

I had my first lawn treatment early July, I believe it was for grub and fertilizer. The lawn care specialist was nice and did a good job. They did call and say i was scheduled for July 1st but no one showed up that day. They called again July 2nd saying someone would be here on July 3rd and that is when the tech did show up. I also noticed some areas of my yard starting to brown after the service was completed. Before then the grass was a dark green and full I dont know if it was from treatment or from people at my 4th of july party. I really called TruGreen because my lawn is new and after a new construction and its having issues with weed control and growing in areas. Hopefully with further treatments aeretion and overseeding it will be great next year

After pointing out to the service technician that I had nuts edge and crabgrass growing, i still have it. I walked the technician around the yard pointing out the problems. I also have brown spots in the yard. They are doing a good job of keeping the grass green.

Had a service prior to true green, was not happy. True green seems to have turned my yard around as much improvement shown. Grass much thicker.

The entire TruGreen team, from sales to completing the work, was responsive and professional. We saw immediate results from our weed & feed treatment and couldnt be happier so far.

Same issues as other customers. Pre-paid for aerating and seeding, no show, no call, nothing. Called customer service and they route you to the next incompetent service person. Asked to speak with a manager, evidently there are no managers. Really? Have my sprinkler heads flagged for a week now. Also laid plastic in the landscape to prevent seed from entering. So hey trugreen do u want me to post a pic of all my preperation for everyone to see? If I dont get my money back or the service done in 48 hours the BBB will be contacting u. Dont think u want that. And oh by the way, this will be posted on all the media sites I can think of. Have a nice day .

Terrible service! After Green T in St Charles Co MO sold to Trugreen my yard looks horrible! Also stood me up on a service call to shut down irrigation system. The no show caused major $$ as very next Day we had a freeze causing copper pipe to break. Would never recommend this company!!!!!
