We have been using Spring Green for a few years and the performance of their service has been off and on. but this last application completely destroyed our lawn. When we spoke to someone from Spring Green, he was nothing short of unprofessional and rude. My husband was merely looking for answers to what needed to be done going forward to restore the lawn and whoever this man (manager, tech, no idea) was just rude with no care to work out a plan. I am sure that they burned our yard with chemicals, but of course, "not their fault". I do not, under any circumstances, recommend this company. Giving one star was one too many!
We've had several different companies over the years but Spring Green has been the best by far. Our technician Carl is amazing, he's always on top of any weeds or problems that appear. He always explains what and how he's treating each time, also what to keep an eye out for. If we have any issues with weeds not going away he's back out to retreat and eliminate the problem. He's always cheerful and friendly, he's more like a member of the family and I always look forward to his next visit. I would encourage anything to give them a try, they won't disappoint (especially Carl ) definitely the best lawn tech I've experienced.
If I were grading just the people who come and take care of my yard (fertilizing, etc.), I would give them five stars; however, for the group that is to come out and clean my flowerbeds, etc. I had to take one star off. I have been waiting a long time for them to show up. Whenever when they come and do the work, I believe they will do a great job. Spring Green is a good company. My yard looks great! NEW POST I just want to give an update to my last text. Just a couple days ago I had two of the workers come to my house to do the cleanup process around all my plants. I just want to say that they did an outstanding job! They work so hard in such a quick time to do such a large job. My wife and I are very pleased with their work. Thank you.
This is my 1st year using Spring Green Lawn Services after doing my yard myself. In the past I have tried 2 or 3 different Lawn Companies & was royally disappointed & ripped off. Spring Green is the 1st company that has been very professional so far & have done my yard the way that I like it being done. I am always notified ahead of time when they are coming out for a treatment or service.. My yard is slowly but surely getting to looking like it did when I was doing it myself. I like my yard to look like a beautiful carpet or like a nice Golf Course without the holes(Lol). I am hoping that by Summertime it will get there & be 1 of the best looking yards if not the best looking yard on my street. I would definitely recommend Spring Green, even when I have called, they have always been very pleasant & always answered my questions .
My first year dealing with Spring Green, and it will be my last. I've had to call them back after each routine spray because I'm just not seeing much improvement. Both neighbors use this company and I see their lawn looking good, but not mine. After the 4th time of retreating I asked for someone to come and discuss this with me in person so we can either adjust expectations or come up with a plan. Made some switches at work to be present for the tech to arrive, and 20 minutes before appointment they cancel. However, later that day, someone did come and spray, but with the five minutes he took to do .30 acre yard, I can understand why it looks how it does. Already know I'll be working with a different company next season. ETA with pics of weeds I pulled today. This is just from one small area of the yard.
Spring-Green has done my lawn aeration for the past two years, so I inquired about their lawn fungus protection (3 applications). I wanted to get this down onto the lawn prior to the hot humid months of summer, they agreed. The first application was a mix up on their part, but they promised my lawn stress from this mix up would be taken care of. They did and the grass bounced back to normal in a few weeks. The second application was applied with no issues, no fungus has shown up so far. The month of July & Aug will be the true test (humidity !!). But so far, so good. I apply my own organic plant based fertilizer in the spring, my lawn currently looks very good. I do recommend Spring-Green, they have delivered as promised and even corrected the one mistake on my first application. Photo taken July 5.
**April 2022** added pictures to show my yard currently. I am beyond frustrated and frankly, embarrassed by this. UPDATE--July 30, 2021-- this company is completely unprofessional. They said they'd be out to fix their poor work--- that was 3 months ago. DO NOT RECCOMMEND!! ****AS OF JUNE 7th I AM STILL WAITING... UPDATE--> I received a call from the owner on May 4th. It was not a good call. He was extremely rude. I was told they would be out as soon as the ground dried a little. (Different from what I'd been told before about needing a good rain.) AS OF MAY 26th I HAVE HAD NO FURTHER CONTACT__ THEY HAVE NOT BEEN OUT TO RECTIFY THEIR POOR WORK. I am beyond upset, and unbelievably frustrated! I paid a little over $2700 to have my front yard graded/leveled. I was quoted one date, and it was continuously pushed back. I had to call and check once a week, and was always told I would be notified/updated with a date, but never got a follow up call. Finally, once the job was done I was not provided any follow up or next steps for care/maintenance. I had to call to ask for next steps, care, etc. I was told I would be sent an email--never got an email. The yard is UNBELIEVABLY uneven, and not level. There are hills and valleys throughout the yard. There are track marks from their equipment....It looks awful! When I had someone come out to see the issue they said, "well money was an issue, so this is what you got." How unbelievably RUDE and untrue. I was quoted a price before I shared that money was a concern. The price I was quoted did not change AFTER I shared concerns. The guy that came out (3 WEEKS AGO) said they would be out after the next rain to fix the yard. That was 3 weeks ago. It was rained and SNOWED several times since then.
I hired Spring Green to replace the mulch in my front yard landscape with a weed sheet covered with rocks. The project cost was $1,500, and I was promised full satisfaction and a 1 year warranty. I was very disappointed that Spring Green applied the weed sheet incorrectly over my sprinkler system. This led to water accumulation below the weed sheet and in a few months the whole rock area was completely covered with weeds and grass. I repeatedly asked Spring Green to come and resolve this problem. They sprayed the front of my lawn with a powerful "weed killer," which barely affected the weeds, but led to large yellow dead patches in my font lawn grass. I became more concerned about this, and asked that they do not spray my front lawn with this material again and to instead redo the project properly. I informed the owner of my dis-satisfaction with the outcome, and he promised to redo the project at no additional costs. More than a month passed and multiple crews came out to my house who were completely unaware of the project plans to revise the weed sheet and rock area. Subsequently, I received a call from a different individual who claimed to be the owner of the business. This person was different than the owner that I previously spoke to about the project revision. This new person repeatedly yelled at me over the phone, refused to acknowledge the revised project plan by the other owner, and tried to blame me for the failure of the project. The person also threatened to send a pending bill for the lawn sprays that killed the grass next to the rocks to a collection agency - which she actually did - despite the 1 year warranty that I was promised on this project. I am 100% dissatisfied by the services provided by Spring Green. They are rude and have very bad communication with customers. Their owner(s)?, managers, and crew staff clearly do not communicate with one another. And, their services have poor outcomes. They don’t honor their warranty spelled out in their contract. I am also concerned about the affects of the material/chemicals that were sprayed on my front lawn to attempt to kill the weeds that were penetrating through the incorrectly placed weed sheet. Would stay away from this company given that there are many other excellent lawn care company choices in the area. If this company does not value and respect their customers, then they don’t deserve them.
I got a quote for aeration for 175$$ and was going to be 400 with seed. Outrageous prices!! Also, unprofessional and rude.
Lawn care 101 should be crab grass prevention. I have lots of it so this service, for me, has failed. Gave two start because they did come.
Great service the last several years. I had 1 issue and when I called it to their attention, it was addresses promptly and to my satisfaction.
Since changing to Spring Green, my lawn has improved. The front of the house looks very healthy and the weeds are non existent. With all the trees that I have, my back yard needed lots of work. Still ways to go but has improved since changing to Spring Green.
Ive been with Spring Green/Green Thumb for years. I like that I get a discount if I pay for the whole season. If I need to change the mowing day, they accommodate me. If I ask, they do a little extra. They were able to mulch my leaves so I didnt need to rake.

The technician that keeps my weeds controlled is very nice and friendly. He is very thorough. I had this company re-seed my yard last fall . The one thing I like about this company is that I feel I can trust the technician to do what is scheduled to be done. I wouldn t worry if I wasn t able to be home when he was scheduled. I can t say that about a previous company. I ve watched him and he does a thorough job. Im very happy with Spring Green Lawn Care. Give them a chance to show you what they can do.
I ve been using Spring Green now for 3 years and today I had my lawn aerated and seeded and I got the bill of $373. Last year in 2021 I paid a total of $165, this year it was almost double of last years charge. I called the company and told them to cancel my services due to the bill for aerating and seeding and for all the weeds I have in my yard. I hardly ever have weeds and this year my whole yard is loaded with them. They responded and said the cost of seed has gone up and that they hate to see me go. I guess so because of charging each customer a little more for the seed you charged the customer a huge mark up, I guess you can afford to let customers go when you are charging people those kind of rates. I found out there are all kinds of people offering aerating and seeding for less than half of what I was charged. I called two other competitors and they did say seed went up but not to the mark up that Spring Green did. Do yourself a favor and look for other companies to use instead of Spring Green.

Great service and friendly service/application techs. Basic treatment prices are very reasonable. I also like that I am given a choice to add additional services at a very reasonable cost. Also you all came out immediately for spot treatment (at no charge) when I called regarding some pesky weeds. No more lugging bags of fertilizer for me. Thanks.

When I started my lawn was in worse shape than I thought. After they came out my grass is greener and thicker. Cant wait for ariation and over seed. Ill send photos next year. Their prices are lower than some and they do a great job.
Spring Green has been very good to deal with. They communicate regularly by email when they are coming out and also give me feedback on the condition of my lawn. Usually I do my own lawn chemicals but decided to try Spring Green because I was having a problem in late summer with crab/nut grass(or some kind of nasty looking stuff). They ve been able to eliminate that and my lawn has never looked better. Good company. Nice people. Professional.
Spring green has helped drastically this year in the uphill battle with grass quality in our yard since we purchased our home a few years ago. We purchased a weed control package in the spring which was well worth it, and the crew just aerated and seeded today which Im sure will only make it better.

A great service provide by a friendly, experienced, knowledgeable team, I am extremely glad I selected Jason to handle the repairs on my tiered retaining wall as well ad repair the crushed house drainage lines, completed with yard clean up, Mulching, new planting, and seeding. Their team leader made several recommendations and I will only use Green Thumb from now on to include yard maintenance , additional plantings and seasonal Mulching. A great and dependable company with extremely pleasant team members.

They performed aeration to my yard. They where very professional and did a great job on my yard considering I have steep slopes. The last company I used tore up the yard because of my steep slopes.

In 2021 Spring Green started a new Irrigation service, since I have been a long-term customer of their lawn treatment, I was willing to give it a try. During backflow test, I was told I need a new backflow control. A few weeks later, an inexperienced sprinkler technician came, it took him more than a week to replace it, He admitted it was his first time doing plumbing. After numerous attempts, the job was finally completed. Later in the year, he also completed winterization. Since I was not happy with the quality of the job and the qualification of their technician, I changed the service to my previous provider for 2022. Before he even began the start up process, the technician alerted me that the back-flow valves were not shut-off correctly, and asked if the system was winterized at all, and who did it. He showed me a blown out pipe connector and told me whoever winterized it was supposed to turn off only halfway, not completely shut-off. The winterization probably was not done correctly, so the remaining water froze during winter and damaged the whole back-flow system. The replacement cost was about $600. I complained to Spring Green office every two weeks, left message for the person in charge of irrigation, to give him time to call me back. During my last call (the third) I left a message to the office manger and alerted them that if no one returns my call, I will file complaint to BBB and on social media. I will also cancel the lawn treatment service for next year. I gave her one week to respond, someone called and left a short message with phone number. I called back, left a message and both my home and cell phone numbers, so that I would not miss his call-back. There was nothing after that, no call back. They dont even make any attempt to show that they care about their customers.
The work I had done on my yard turned out very good, and the workers were very professional and knowledgeable, and I highly recommend them, and will use them in the future.
We have used a number of law services over the years without satisfaction until we found Spring Green about 3-4 years ago. We are delighted with their service, their prompt responses and visits when we call and certainly with the vast improvements in how our lawn looks. Just last week we received unsolicited complements from two friends at separate times.

We had a holly bush die on 3 occasions. The 2nd time it died it took them almost 6 months to get back to us to replace it and this third time we just pulled the bush and now have a big hole right outside our front yard. Also, had 4 of the 6 azaleas die as well. Last time I was hoping to get some feedback on perhaps moving something or changing something, but got none.

I had Spring Green for 8 months. Once the summer humidity hit, my entire yard became one giant weed. It was like it had never been treated. It was SO bad, and I can not believe I paid that amount of money for the service I received.
Our first attempt with an outside lawn service and they certainly exceeded our expectations.
If anyone in St. Charles county uses this company immediately consider another option. They are billing and not providing the services. The office manager belonged that since their drivers show up or a sign is in your yard that means the service is being rendered. I have a ring doorbell and there is clearly no one at my house and they have billed me. Couple that with the fact that they were trying to send me to collections because they forgot to add my tree service on to the credit card on file and then blamed it in a software glitch. I noticed a $168 charge in my card that was never approved and they basically back billed me for every service they claimed to do that the software glitch didn t bill. The people in m the office are unprofessional, could care a less and will defend this ranch until the end. You would think with any type of customer service and their badgering of calls stating I was late past due ams collections they would of done something for the customer since it was their apparent software glitch. But no they just continue to defend their processes or lack there of.

Overall good company to work with. When weeds dont get killed, a quick call and there out very soon. 2 concerns.. they dont kill hot spots as they say weeds next to road concrete? When they came out last week to aeration there were several skid marks It pulled out the grass in thoughts areas. It hadden rained in several days.
Maybe it was the drier season we had, but the crabgrass we had treated never went away. This was after making return visits.

Weve used Spring-Green Lawn Care for the past few years and are very pleased with the way our lawn looks. We have very few weeds and our lawn is nice & green...one of the best on the block! They have an excellent communication tool...we enjoy reading the summary report that is available to us soon after the service. Their lawn care professionals are very customer orientated and truly care about the work they do.
They always call the day before coming. they offer helpful tips that will help if you do after the applications. The guys that come out are very professional, helpful, and polite. I highly recommend them and did so to a neighbor who seems pleased as well.

I signed up for Spring-Greens treatment plan after receiving a mailer with a 20% off neighborhood discount. My grass is better today than it has ever been. I see very, very few weeds and they have pretty well knocked them out the next time they treat when I have seen them. my grass is thicker, greener, and healthier than it has ever been.
I want everyone to know that I spent 20 years and a lot of money to try to make my yard nice and I have to say that I can t be more pleased with the results that Spring Green Lawncare has brought to us in just 2 years. So far I am very pleased. It has been 4 months since I have used Spring Green yard treatments. I give them 5 stars because of the following. Timeliness- They give you notification with a call, text, and email several days in advance that they are coming. They show up when they say they are or if there is a reason they dont like if it rains then they let you know and then read use when they will be coming back always keeping you informed. Effectiveness- I have been battling the weeds in my yard for 3 years at this residence. The previous ow wet did not take care of the yard. I was at my wits end. They have managed to create new growth and have the weeds under control. My yard has never looked this good. It still has a way to go but even my neighbors have commented on the turn around since the previous owner. So they are definitely getting the job done. Quality- They do an excellent job of managing what needs to happen to get my lawn they way I want it. They know the right chemistry for my lawn as each is different. They let me know what they did when they came to treat and give a comprehensive evaluation of what I as the home owner can do to help. So far the weeds are gone. If I see one or something pop up I can call them and theyll run out and take care of it. Customer Service- The staff I have dealt with has been a pleasure to work with. The office administrators are very courteous and really take the time and focus to hear and fulfill my needs. The communicate well and keep me informed of anything that comes up. I can call at any moment and say I had a few trouble spots pop up and is it possible to send someone out to treat it and they dont question it and send someone out as soon as possible. They let you know exactly what they did and you see results. Affordability- I received quotes from several companies and Spring Green is affordable especially with the value of everything you get primarily everything I mentioned above. Below is my previous email from when I used them after over seeding and aeration and after a month of treatments. Spring Green is a pleasure to work with. From the customer service with first contact via email, phone calls, and scheduling it was all prompt and courteous. The technician came out and provided the service as requested on time as scheduled. The follow up directions were easy to understand and thorough. So far I would highly recommend their services. I have used them for over seeding and aeration and now with their weed and feed application. Grass has definitely greened up and no weeds in sight as of yet.

Do not use this company if you care about your yard. I have used them for 1 year. After each application my lawn looks worse. I timed the applicator during his last visit. I have a pretty large lot. Somehow he completed it all in 8 minutes. My lawn have numerous dead brown patches now. I called the office on Wednesday to request they come out and look at the issue. Its now Friday evening and no one has come out and they are closed on the weekend. So, I wont see anyone until Monday at the earliest. If you want a lawn service that does not respond and kills your lawn, use Spring Green. If you want a green lawn, use anyone else.

Spring green did not apy the early summer application with pre emergent for the nutsedge in a timely manner when it needed to be done in a certain time frame to perform the best on the nutsedge because they basically forgot to service my yard until late June for the early summer application my yard was overrun with nursedge and they could never get it under conol. On top of that Jose the tech said call the office they will comp this application because it was missed and the highly unprofessional women working in that office wouldnt admit they messed up and comp the $48 application thus leaving me with no choice it to fire them as my lawn management.
Spring green did a good job on my lawn, this is the first year I have used them and I would recommend them. Spring Green did 6 applications and aerated my lawn. My lawn looks awesome.
Spring Green has always arrived when they are scheduled and usually earlier than expected. The employees are extremely kind and we appreciate the small things such as texting us specific instructions on what to do immediately after a specific treatment.

This year was the first time I hired someone to apply a weed control and fertilization regimen to my lawn. When comparing pricing to some of the companies my neighbors use, I realized Spring-Green is a great value. So I wondered what I was going to get in return. Turns out it was a lot! My lawn looks better than it ever has! They give great feedback and recommendations without pressure and hassle. They are easy to reach over the phone and easy to work with. Their employees are always friendly, professional and hard-working.
Used Spring Green for the first time this past season for fertilizing and weed control and a Mole Treatment Program. We had not done good routine treatments of our lawn and it needed help. Was pleased with the phone calls prior to the treatments and the technicians always introduced themselves, explained what they were going to do during that treatment, explained things and answered questions. Our lawn is looking better but moles are still a problem after the initial three application Mole Treatment Package as we back up to common ground. We have received two more mole treatments and are going to continue with the monthly treatments in hopes of deterring some activity and will use Spring Greens seven round treatment service again in the spring.

The only negative is when I had my lawn aerated and seeded you cut my cable wire so I had no TV and internet for a while,

Green Thumb/Spring-Green Lawn Care has done a great job for our weekly mowing. They care about the work they do on our yard and respond to any questions or changes that we need specifically for mowing our yard, as our yard tends to hold water. Would highly recommend this company.
I am going into my 3rd year using Spring-Green to mow my lawn. The service is almost always on time weekly and they also do a very good job on edging and trimming grass around my house and sidewalks. They blow the cut grass back on to the lawn and clears the sidewalk and driveway.
I found the lawncare technicians very personable and knowledgeable. Unlike a previous lawncare company I have used, Spring-Green was very good at always letting me know ahead of time when they were coming for an application. They communicate well with their clientele.

My lawn is shaping up very nice, I recently move in to this house in 2017 and the yard was a disaster. They are always on time and very informative. I m aware that it takes years for a perfect lawn and they are definitely on their way to achieving that goal. A little thing like my gates are always closed after they leave and I m always informed on the status of my lawn and soil. Great job!!!
We started with Spring-Green Lawn Care just last September 2019, our experiences with lawn care services, was not very good. So far, these folks have exceeded our expectations and been a pleasant experience. Their pricing appears to be fair, they communicate (letting you know when they are coming out and follow up), do a thorough and professional job and email billing is accurate and helpful. Best of all, our lawn is starting to take shape in just that short time. We also had them prune a couple of large, mature oaks in our front yard (to raise the canopy, as Jason suggested, to provide more sunlight for the new grass to thrive) and did a very professional job. The trees look great (clean cuts), hauled off all limbs and branches and the service men even asked how it looked and if there was anything else they could do? My yard was a mess with weeds and poor grass, since Spring Green lawn care took over my lawn care its much better plus they really try hard to keep it that way I can call for extra weed control and they respond promptly, and there customer service is great, I am more than satisfied with there service

Jason was very patient with me! After receiving my initial bid I was slow to commit because Im a procrastinator lol. Once I signed the contract and paid my initial deposit, they kept me informed of when the work would be scheduled. The men who arrived for my sod install arrived early, were friendly and very accommodating to my needs. Ive never had sod installed before but Im still waiting for the seams to disappear after 2 weeks and hope this is normal. Some sections have different shades and texture than others but when you look at the whole yard as a whole it looks great! Im sure this will all blend with time. Thanks crew!

We have used Spring-Green Lawn Care for two small jobs in our back yard. The first time they installed a drain to redirect water due to poor grading. The drain is working very well with the excess water problem. The second job was hauling in top soil to fill in several areas of erosion. They did a great job spreading the dirt where it was needed. We definitely recommend Spring Green. Their work was great and reasonably priced. We will call them again when we have a yard/landscape project.
Moved into a new home back in 2018. Previous owners had neglected the lawn completely. When searching for someone to help me, Spring Green was my choice. They gave me realistic expectations and let me know we had a task ahead of us. But with every treatment they continued to give me the advise I needed to get the most out of their service. Now I have the lawn that I ve been wanting.
Services also included lawn fertilization. The grass is full and green. The weed control has also been good, and if I found any weeds after a treatment, the Spring Green people come back to spot treat the lawn at no added cost. I am a repeat customer because I am pleased with the service.
Have used this company for 2 years. In their own words (from a recent evaluation of my lawn) The yard looks average compared to others in the neighborhood. I expect more from a lawn care service.

08/2020 Update: I became completely dismayed with Spring Green as they could not control the Nutsedge this summer. Last fall, I paid for seeding and they missed an edge of my yard. I complained multiple times and they did nothing about it. They did manage to seed my flower and rock beds, where I had to pick out all the grass. One time, I saw their technician running accross the yard with the hose, giving a poor rate of the application. I had to call and get them back out. Their communications are lacking. The last treatment still did not work on the nutsedge and the last service call I made did not get a response for a week. I called to let them know that I was terminating my service with them. They made the excuse that their facilities got flooded and they posted a message on Facebook. I dont even have a Facebook account. They refused to refund the money for the last treatment.

Controlled my tree worm problem that we have had for years! Also use them for my lawn and spray for mosquitos. Do excellent jobs on everything and will come out in between applications if needed. Customer service is very friendly and helpful.

Ive had 3 other lawn services and all left my yard looking awful and full of weeds. After Summer/Fall of Spring-Green Im getting lots of compliments and 0 weeds to be found. Id avoid all the others and call these guys.
Spring-Green have been awesome to work with for my yard services; from the easy and affordable signing up process to the great product the deliver! My yard started looking good after just two appointments and if I ever needed them to come back and respect an area for weeds, they do it at no charge and right away. For some reason, Vahle Outdoor Services LLC (Laura Vahle) maintains a Missouri fictitious name of Spring Green Lawn Care from 2014 even though Green Thumb has been around since 2005 (maybe with different ownership?), so they seem to have reviews under both names. That is kind of confusing.

We were very pleased with the work from Spring-Green Lawn Care. It was professionally done and just what we wanted. Jason was very helpful giving me some new ideas. The flowers are wonderful! They bloomed beautifully and made the back yard look so very nice. I love to look out over our deck and see how nice the backyard looks. I would definitely use Spring-Green Lawn Care again.

Spring Green has been absolutely amazing!!! They have really taken the time to gone above and beyond for my lawn (and me!). My lawn was literally all crabgrass / nutsegde / weeds when I started with them. It was a mess and I got sick just looking at it. After all of their recommendations, hard work, knowledgeable / helpful people to answer my dumb (sorry) questions, and their high quality products... my lawn looks AMAZING and it has truly transformed over the last two years (like they said it would if I let them take the lead!). I knew from the start that it was going to be a lot of time , work , and effort to get it where I wanted it (best in the neighborhood ;)). They were incredibly upfront and transparent from beginning to end with everything! Especially with what we needed to do and how long it would take ! We have just subscribed to using Spring-Green for our lawn. We are in the St. Charles area. Marc Jackson was the gentleman who performed the service. He is very polite and very knowledgeable. Jason quoted a drainage system to alleviate a sump pump drainage problem that was affecting my lawn and 2 others in the neighborhood. This required installing a pipe across over 100 feet of lawn. The crew led by Medina navigated digging across the area without damaging sprinkler heads or controllers - they dug around and under them. When they finished you could not tell they had been here even though they dug up over 100 of lawn and installed a 4 pipe. They had managed to maintain the sod and replaced it when they were finished. The crew was courteous, efficient and were sensitive to the social distancing issues by wearing masks. Job well done and I would use them again.

They let you know when they are coming and tell you what they are going to do in terms of fertilizer or weed control. They will return anytime if you see a problem with your lawn. Very reliable. You can sign up for more kinds of lawn care than just the basic plan. I paid for my service a year in advance but you can pay after each application, I think.
I have had lawn service by several vendors but over the last year I have used Spring Green. In the past I would get a bill and a sign in the yard when I came home from work saying they had come by. I didnt really pay much attention outside of paying the bill. With Spring Green, I have been working with the same technicians, Marc Green and his crew, who speak with me periodically about how my lawn is doing, what they are seeing and improving and provide me with real feedback on how I can improve things as well. It feels less like I am just paying a bill to some company I never see but actually receiving a real service. My yard looks great, the service is great and its a great value in comparison to what I have spent in the past.

I used a different long lawn service for many years and was very happy with them, but I started seeing more and more Spring Green trucks servicing lawns in my neighborhood, so I called them. They came over and took a look and gave me a quote. Almost half the cost! And the only difference between the two companies.....Spring Green charged extra to lay seed in later months. They would aerate, but not seed. I can seed.....not that hard. But Im also a believer in you get what you pay for.....so I wasnt sure Id be happy.......Two years later....one of the best decisions Ive ever made. Call them and ask them to come out....And then if youre lucky, Mark Jackson will come out and take care of your lawn!

After several years of having Spring Green treat my lawn with annual plans, they get 5 stars for great service and really good results. The reminder call and/or email is a good way to know they will be arriving and the techs always perform a thorough job with thoughtful comments on the condition and recommendations for lawn watering, etc..
I like the way they manage my irrigation, weed control and fertilization through out the year at a reasonable cost.

Product did not kill weeds, I signed up for an entire year and lawn looks no better than when I started. After 1 year was paid in full (and I was done) they continually call and send mail. They went ahead and did another application without asking if I was continuing service. When I called to let them know I did not want that application I was informed that there was some fine print somewhere that says they will continue giving you lawn applications and charging you until you explicitly ask them to stop.
I have known Jason for about 15 years. I first engaged his companys services when I was president of my subdivision. Jasons crews were and still are the contractors for our subdivision. They do good work and at a reasonable price. I even challenged his team about seven years ago with a project on two of our ponds that was extremely difficult. They did a fantastic job even when it was not in their wheelhouse at the time. I strongly recommend Jason and the Green Thumb team.
Just an absolutely terrible experience. Product will not kill weeds and will not control fall grasses. Yard got much worse on their watch. Call and question the product and they will tell you how patient you need to be. Amateur hour. Would recommend literally anything else. Lazy front office service. Won t keep appointments. Won t bother letting you know. Glad to be done.
