So grateful for this company! With a toddler and a newborn our yard got really out of hand. As soon as we called them, they were out here within 24 hours mowing our yard. We never would have been able to do this with a push mower. The owner is who came out, he was very quick, professional, understanding and kind. Our grass was evenly cut, edged perfectly and he even used the blower at the end. Thanks again Greenside!! We will definitely be using his services again. Never had a worse looking yard after Greenside Lawncare did their “work” Here were the problems… 1.uneven cutting , missed or pushed down large areas of grass does not need to be wet for this to happen 2. They will attempt to cut while it’s raining, it turns out bad (see above) 3. Trimming is almost non existent. Sure they hit a few spot but don’t do a majority of the Trimming, maybe they run out of string. 4. It takes about a hour and a half to get all the grass clippings out of our landscaping and reclean the pool. 5. Our yard is now infested with fungus. According to our Lawn Treatment folks, “you need to clean your cutting equipment to stop spreading spores” fortunately none of our neighbors are having this problem! Over the ten years we have had in this housed, we have never had all these issues with a Lawncare service
John and his crew did a great job for us. Needed lawn care in a hurry and John put us right on the schedule and got us taken care of promptly and professionally. Highly recommend!
Headed to the post office in Ballwin. One of Greenside Lawn Care's truck and trailer was headed the opposite direction. Thinking I would meet him at the stop sign, I stopped at the 4 way stop, he blew right through it----I laid on my horn!! So very deliberate!! Laws aren't for just certain people.....Makes me wonder If the care of their customers is as bad as their driving habits. At this point, I wouldn't let them touch a BLADE of grass in my yard!!
First time ever hiring a lawn care company and man let me tell you….. horrible. You’d think when you have brand new customers you’d try to make an impression. Literally left patches of grass uncut all over my yard, did no weed whacking like I asked, and when my husband tried to stop him before he left to be like what’s going on the guy peeled off. Like the owner at that. It was about 730 ish. I called and asked about it and he said my grass was out of control. It hasn’t been cut in one week because we were in Florida. So I’m not sure what that’s suppose to mean. You charge $50 a cut and won’t cut it all because it’s out of control? What would I pay you for then? I asked if I could cancel the whole contract and he said sure so just beware when hiring this company.
My fiancé and I just bought our first home and finally moved all of our animals to the home. We don’t have a lawnmower or a truck to move one, so I was frantically looking for someone to mow our front and back lawns. I called Greensidr after a recommendation on Nextdoor and they were AMAZING. The woman on the phone asked a few questions and I said I really needed it done that night. John came out that evening and mowed in the near dark for us and I can’t explain how appreciative we are. Reasonably priced, responsive, and kind AND great quality work. I can’t recommend enough.
At the start of the summer, I had called and contacted 7 lawn companies to tend to my residential property. 7!! I quickly heard back from Greenside - same day, within an hour. They were able to explain their services and scheduled my regular lawn care visits for that very week. Their team ALWAYS does an incredible job and goes above and beyond to take care of my property. Two things that really stand out and impress me: 1. They ALWAYS shut the gate behind them (I have a dog!). 2. They ALWAYS reposition the yard sign after they cut the front lawn. 10/10 would recommend this company to friends and family.
We had a great experience with Greenside Lawn care. We needed a lot of mulch work, bush trimming, and general garden clean up. Usually we do this ourselves and it takes 2 full weekend and at least 5 trips to Home Depot for bagged mulch. This year we decided to get a quote from professionals. We called John on Thursday, and he came out the following day to give us a quote. We were very surprised with how reasonable the price was for how much work we needed. He told us he was able to come out on Monday to do the job. John and his crew came out and finished everything within a few hours. They were very professional. The yard looks wonderful and they cleaned everything up very well before they left. We are so happy we went with Greenside. They did an amazing job for a great price. If youre looking for a good professional lawn company that does a great job look no further. You could if you wanted to but youre not going to get the quality service.
They missed the left side of driveway from fence / neighbors trailer to the street Other than that looked good
John and his crew never disappoint, does a fantastic job and is always on top of scheduling Iv referred him to servals friends and family and even couple local businesses I highly recommend John and green side and I never right reviews but I absolutely had to with this company.

Hired Greenside to aerate my lawn this year and could not have been better. Person who did the job was quick and professional, and took the time to point out what needs to be done for future maintenance after the fact. Will definitely be using them again next year.
Due to 11 s of snow fall, that occurred within 48 short hours, both of my vehicles and my driveway where inoperable. Having multiple children, we re always on the go. John, the owner I assume, returned my voicemail almost instantly and was able to come and remove all of the snow in the driveway and even dug out our cars that where trapped in from the snow, from our municipality snow trucks. Awesome service and a great experience throughout the whole process.
John is very friendly and came the same day to remove snow from our driveway and front walk. We had gotten a huge snowfall and he made it possible to get our cars out of the driveway. He did a good job! We would use him again. Thanks John!

Initially, performed service as expected. Later on, attempted to try and bill for Service performed 5-6 months prior due to a mistake by billing. In claiming the services, it was something we had never asked for, and had others do. Why would a lawn care company 1) Mow in late november 2) Perform leaf pickup without discussion 3) Try and charge for this 5 months later? Thats just ONE issue. STAY AWAY!

I signed up for a weekly service, they showed up once, only cut a portion of the yard, didn t trim any of the side/back of the house. Never heard from them again, until I called a month later to tell them not to come back. Can t recommend.
Came to cut my lawn did not mow the back hill, didn t trim around the fence, and stole a toolbox out of my yard. do not call this company
Had an appt at 10:30. No call - no show. I called at 10:50 and supposedly he was at a job and would be over in 30 minutes. An hour later he showed up (trailer was empty and he looked like he just got out of bed: hair a mess, filthy stained company shirt, gym shorts and Crocs). Was not impressed with his lack of professionalism in person either. Said he would email me a quote broke down by price per job. Its the next day and I havent gotten that email.
Had John and his crew for several years. They do a superb job. Always on time, professional, neat and clean. Cant say enough good things about them. Now that I am retired I will be cutting my own grass but other than that I would have John cut it. AAAAA+
Did not return call once I sign up for the grass cutting. Horrible customer service and the phone number take you directly to voice mail.
Rarely did trimming around trees. Often skipped the backyard and side yard which was obvious because tree limbs that were down were never moved. Repeated billing problems.
John and his partner didnt take long at all to remove some old landscaping. He removed a bush that I was worried would mess up the concrete if I did it on my own. He put in some new edging, transplanted a few bushes, planted a few new ones, put down fresh mulch, laid some sod, and helped with diverting the drainage coming off the gutters. Unfortunately, I had immediate problems with weeds that have only gotten worse. Im not sure if it was the mulch he used or his method but the areas I did on my own havent had these problems.
