Super unprofessional, then started physically treating me because I stuck to the plans we arranged!! Would never work with this group. Bad business all the way around. And he left me waiting for an hour while he was to childish to call me.....

Tried getting some landscape services from this company. We set an appointment but they no-call, no-showed. Not a good way to do business. I called and they didnt answer so I am moving on.

My lawn looks like it needs to be cut right after they leave. By day 3, it looks like a jungle. My husband asked them to cut our lawn shorter and the guy gave him grief about it and said theyd have to use another mower. No change in the appearance since that conversation over 2 weeks ago. Our riding lawnmower is awaiting repair so we cant do it ourselves right now. Previously, I cut the lawn once a week, and it never looked like this. Its as if theyre riding a hoverboard over our grass. Hardly anything cut and so uneven.

We have had a great experience with Green Thumb. The owner is very easy to communicate with and we get a lot of great compliments on our yard!

This past spring they came out to turn on the sprinkler system. They did but failed to check times to run, heads to work or anything else except turning on the system. But not doing a full check, my system used over 66,000 gallons of water for one month and cost over $556.00. My neighbor called and told me about the system watering one area 7 times a day and I had them shut the water down or it would have been worse. I called upon getting the bill and was told someone would call me about that, never did. It is now time to shut it down and they have been fired and replaced by Harvester who came out and set the timer, checked that heads and come spring they will restart. The customer service should be known as Customer no Service as they caused the massive water usage due to not reviewing the system and didnt care enough to call back. Grass cutting is ok.

They did a fantastic job at a very fair price. The crew and staff were very helpful and friendly. Jason is an expert in the field and followed up to make sure everything was done well. I highly recommend their services!

Thank you Green Thumb. My parents needed their front and back yard cleaned up for an upcoming home sale. You got rid of dead bushes, removed/replaced mulch, etc. to make the outside look fabulous. Additionally, when my mom started complaining about weeds coming up. You quickly provided estimates on that need and took care of it. ~Very grateful daughter

Green Thumb has mowed the grass for our HOA common ground area, which is on a slop and difficult to maneuver. They took on the job, quickly mowing our grass and keeping at a healthy length. Im satisfied with their responsiveness to my questions and requests.

We switched to Green Thumb after a poor experience with another local company and have been very pleased. They communicate! They show up when they say they will and if something changes, they let you know. The quality of service is good and I would highly recommend. Reliable and dependable.

I especially like the emails I receive telling me when they will be out to mow our lawn. They do a nice job. I asked them to weed-wack a spot in my unused flower bed that had overgrown and they did that little extra for me.

They did a terrible job and didnt mow large portions of the yard. When the problems were pointed out they did nothing to improve the service

Christian was a miracle worker restoring our sprinkler system to operation after years of nonuse. He deserves additional kudos for doing this during the 90 - 100 degree days that we had earlier this summer (Aug 2022). Not cheap, but worth every penny...!

I have been very disappointed i the lack of response from Jason who was my contact for all the work I had contracted with Green Thumb. The workers were extremely cordial and nice, however the language barriers left me with no immediate communication for issues and I felt like I was being ignored when I called or sent e mail for corrections. On several occasion I have to additional question improper billing issues

Fraud? I signed contract and made deposit for a project 4 weeks ago. No one reached out to me. No one pick up the phone or respond to my voice messages.

I give Jason, Laura and their team the highest possible marks, not only as a lawn care company but compared to all of the home improvement vendors I have used or interacted with while owning my home. They are extremely knowledgeable and professional. They look at all of your needs and find the best fit for their services without pressuring or overselling you. I highly recommend this company.

I had a ground leveling service but had done a poor job in my backyard. Be careful with what they say. I should have asked to write in detail what I was told in their first visit. I still have water issues, small holes in some areas. They scratch my backyard like a crop field and dump some rocks. I barely make them come back to toss some dirt, and they could have bring more to fill up the sinking areas in the backyard. So disappointing, I ll see if I can reach my lawyer to fill up a claim. It looks like they have water Drainage. They Never talked to me about it or recommended I need it. This is a sham.. They took their full payment as they ask for your card.

I had an appointment set up to get a quote for a landscaping job and they never showed up!! The girl in the office said she didn t know where he was but she s pretty sure he will be there. I had to take off early from work to make the appointment and a No Show

Cant get a hold of anyone to talk to. I left messages both by phone and email. I made a phone call and was hung up on before I could actually finish setting up an estimate. I then tried calling back and couldnt get anyone on the phone and had to leave another voicemail that was never followed up on! Horrible communication.

I am so happy that I signed up with Green Thumb to take care of my lawn. The 2 young men that come out every week are very courteous and work very fast. I highly recommend their services.

We needed a driveway drain replaced. We had 2 companies look at the project before Green Thumb. Neither could give me an estimate. Both had no familiarity with the driveway drain system. Green Thumbs owner came by and quickly explained how the replacement would be completed and gave me a bid for the work. The work was done properly and timely. 9 months have passed since the installation. The drain has functioned well and looks as good as it did the day it was installed. We are now selling the house and needed a copy of the paid receipt so the company handling the closing could get a lien waiver for the work. I called Green Thumb and left a message requesting the receipt. I got a call from Green Thumb that evening to confirm what I needed. I told the company I only needed the receipt if the work was done within the last 12 months. The next day I received an emailed receipt copy showing the work was only 9 months old. They also sending a lien waiver to me. They were one of a few that understood what needed to be done. They did the work quickly and professionally. Now with no chance of future work from me they are going above and beyond to help me out. Many thanks,

Owner finally showed up to review my request for a bid. Claims he would have a bid by the end of the week. It is now a week after the due date for the bid, still no response. I have called the office twice and both times was promised a bid by the end of the day. Still no response. I would not reccomend this company.

Very disappointed. Had an appointment with them through Home Advisor to provide a quote for some work and they never returned my several phone calls to confirm appointment and they never showed up.

We recently had a concrete patio poured, stamped and colored. Except for the footprint left right in the middle, the patio does look pretty good. Although the footprint will forever be a reminder of their customer service and quality of final product. We received no word as to when work might begin without repeated phone calls. Work promised didnt always make it onto the workers schedule so it therefore didnt get done. No phone call came from them to let me know this either. I had to call them - again. Finally, the work was done. All that remained was to fix the footprint and apply the promised second coat of sealer. Concerning the sealer, I was told 1) that the concrete was sucking up the first coat and it really needed a second coat, 2) (later) that it didnt really need a second coat and when I offered to pay for the second coat separately, 3) I was told to not worry about it, he would just come and give it a second coat to which I asked are you sure? Yes. So when a fair amount of time passed with no results, I again called and was told, He told you it didnt need a second coat. Technically, this was true even though this had not been his final statement about the sealer. But by then I was fuming and had had enough of their promises and poor customer service. They failed to remedy these two problems, they have lost my business next year for the driveway and anyone who sees the patio will of course see the footprint and likely hear about their customer service. Good luck if you decide to use them.

Called them to get a quote for backyard landscaping 4 weeks ago. I was told I would get a quote back within next couple of days. I called the next week and they said they would have it to me after the weekend. Still never got it. So I called again and they said I would have it in a few days. Been waiting 4 weeks for a quote and called 3 times and I ve had to constantly call to get there business. They clearly don t want my business because I have yet to receive a quote much less a follow up from them. Do not use this company.

Jason and the men he had working for us were great! My wife and I hired them to put French drains in two areas against our home because of water coming into the basement. The lower level is partly finished and every time it rained hard, I had to pull back carpet and put fans and towels down to soak up water coming in over the top of the foundation (the home was built with the sill plate underground). Two other companies both said theyd have to tear out plants that were close to the house, including a beautiful rhododendron that my wife didnt want to lose. Jasons team of Medina and José (I believe that was their names) worked around this and the other plants, finished the job in about 1 1/2 days, were polite, and cleaned up the work site when finished. The next day I set a hose out for a total of 6 hours against the house in several different areas where they worked and not a drop of water in the basement! A flood at their shop had put them behind schedule to start our project (as well as everyone elses) but wed been trying to find a good solution for our water problem for several years so waiting a few weeks longer than planned was not an issue. They were reasonably priced and when I asked before accepting their proposal, they provided us a certificate of general liability and works compensation insurance from their insurance agent. Wed hire them again in a heartbeat!

The warranty on a landscaping job expired about 5-6 weeks ago. My new landscaper was incomplete disbelief this morning seeing the job Green Thumb did for us last spring. I have a dead boxwood in the front of my house that you can literally pull out of the mulch without effort because THEY NEVER PUT SOIL AROUND IT. They literally just planted a boxwood in mulch. I contacted Jason to see if he wanted to replace it even though the warranty was up, and he said he d replace it at cost like it s my fault. I think Jason sits around with his fingers crossed that the warranty backing his work will expire before plants die or you discover their complete incompetence. If you hire them, be ready to double check everything they do, because they skip out on parts without mentioning it (they literally didn t do a 1/3 of this job the first time until I called Jason.. hostas split and replanted along the side of my house) Third major issue on 2 jobs... besides the terrible communication from your schedulers and the fact that Jason has no problem running late or not showing at all for appointments incompetence at its finest. Complete amateur hour. Found a way better company for half the cost and I never have to worry about them ripping me off.

They did a great job for the most part. There are always little things that come up but you cant fault them. They went above and beyond on the deck, helping to add additional screws the reinforce some parts. Its been a month now and no issues with the hardscaping work that did as well. Price was fair for the work as well.

I have never, ever been spoken to so rudely as I was by the owner, Jason. He was condescending, belligerent, patronizing and downright confrontational when I complained that his grass cutting crew ran into a newly planted tree on my property, ripping the bark around the base half off. The tree is now dying. (If I could give no stars, I would. ) Example: When I asked him to credit me $150, because that was what I paid for the tree, he LAUGHED AT ME and said, Well, you overpaid. He argued with me, laughed at me, talked over me, denied his crew did it, even though there is a witness AND PICTURES, and he belittled me throughout entire conversation (Well, you have to be able to get a word in edgewise to have a conversation. This was more like a condescending lecture that a conversation.) Needless to say, they are FIRED.

Would like to give a five and one half rating. Everything was better than I expected

Will never use again. Waited a month for a cleanup, was told they would call when they were headed out. No call was received, the job was not done completely. The left side of my house (a small area) was completely missed. I called and they said they would come back out to fix it. They did (again no call received,and no mention of additional charges) and proceeded to charge me roughly the same amount of money for another trip to clean up what they should have done in the first place. They charged me the almost SAME amount of time to do the small section they missed as they did for the rest of the ENTIRE yard. I was treated very rudely on the phone when I called to query why I was being charged twice to fix an issue their people created through negligence. When I asked them what they were going to do about the total of the bill, they confirmed they would rather lose my future business than correct the bill. I have no problem paying for the job when the job is done completely,but why would I pay twice when the job wasnt completed properly to begin with? Had I not called them to complete their job I was paying for, my bill would only be half of what it is. I definitely asked to be called ahead of time. I had two different conversations to that effect with your people. I was assured that I would be contacted since the lead time was so far out. I called the second time to see when my appointment would because I had been waiting for a call that seemingly wouldnt happen. Whether or not this was noted in your system/paperwork is not something the customer would be responsible for. It is a sad thing when you cant just admit that there was poor communication with the customer at multiple levels and that your guys made an honest mistake. It is very plain to see where my property ends and begins. It seems you would take more of the customers money rather than take care of the customer and keep their business for the next season. Kudos to you for responding this way as well, instead of contacting me directly and working out a amicable solution. Which is all I am after. I attempted to address the issue directly to find said solution to no avail. Thus, I used this particular mean to warn other people of your business practices.

Greenthumb has managed our lawn, trees and shrubs for several years now. Our yard has never looked better. The technicians are knowledgeable, take pride in their work are always very personable and approachable, they welcome our comments and suggestions without arrogance or taking a defensive stance. We will never use another lawn care company since all of our needs are met exceedingly well by Green Thumb.
