They havent stopped calling for 2 years, leaving messages every single time. Seriously. Stop calling. I havent picked up in TWO YEARS. This isnt good business practice.

Weedman charged my account without authorization. This office specifically. Now theyve sent my account to collections. What they will do is offer you free or discounted services to get you on board. Then they will call you 7x a day during the summer season to try to sell you on products you do not want or need. I am currently trying to call them back to settle this issue. First, the office lied about not having my account and now will not take my call. Beware doing any business with this account. I would be MORE than happy to speak to anyone about my dealings with them. Write back to this post! Just got them on the phone - the office did not take into account my referral discount! They sent my account to collections because of an administrative error! Love it!

After moving into our new house, we noticed the lawn was terribly patchy, shallow rooted and brown. We hired Weed Man to deal with our grubs, aerate, seed and control our weeds and within 1 year the turnaround was remarkable! Our lawn is thicker, softer, greener and more luscious on our feet, and the grub patches have disappeared. Services were delivered on time and in a professional manner, we couldnt be happier with how much healthier our lawn is. Recommend!

Lawn care was descent. I ended up cancelling the service and even after being asked numerous times to be placed on a do-not-call list, I receive about a call per week asking if I want lawn care services. Despite being a blocked number, they can still leave a voicemail. It s really annoying to have to delete the same voicemail every week.

Val told me about this place and i was very impressed in seeing the work weedman did on my neighbours lawn.

I ended up purchasing the Essential Lawn package and Dylan was the one who came by and administered the 1st application of the package. Ive been with St. Catharines Weed Man since I bought my new home 7 years ago, and the builder put sod down on clay, so lots of weeds. Just wanted to let you know that this year I ve been impressed with the customer service by your technicians. They are more personal in letting me know their name and what they will be doing. She was extremely pleasant and when I asked her to do some weed control in areas that normally don t get treatment, she had no problems doing that for me.

The services performed are very good. The only concern I have is that the crabgrass management application occured late in the spring (April 6) to halt the germination of crabgrass. I had been told by other service providers that the application should be made before the forsythia bushes lose their yellow blooms. By April 6, the blooms were long gone and we had quite the crabgrass result. Knowing that there may be many seeds ready for Spring 2024, is it possible to have this application done as soon as the snow melts in March? Larry

Review for St Catharines location - Very poor communication between the staff that sell the products, the people that apply the products and the accounting staff. No one accurately records the services purchased and accounts for when they are applied. The verbal communication from the office staff is horrible. They are unable to reconcile the applications with the services purchased and when a service is missed by their applicators, the standard response seems to be that the owner cancelled that specific treatment.

Just hired weed man to get rid of my weeds. Tyler came to inspect gave me his best recommendation. Can t say enough good things about this company, they take their time and get the job done right! Excellent work!

Be careful of shady business practices. This branch will start to do work without getting full consent. Even after I paid the original amount quoted to get them off my back they continued to charge more and then sent it to collections. I would advise avoiding any business with these people. Edit: If you review the responses to each of the complaints you will see a pattern with their customer service and exploitative sales practices. I would be happy to review the one exchange I had with your sales team over the phone to go over what your company quoted and the terms of the service explained to me. We can line that up to what I paid, versus what you decided I should pay.

Used this company once there services were subpar worst part is getting harassed by the owner Jeff constantly calling leaving voicemails every year! He even calls my wife when I didnt return his call. Then when you tell him your not interested hes rude on the phone :( So Im sure its just a Big Coincidence that as soon as you responed to my review 2 minutes later I get a negative review on my old busssines thats not even in opperation from a Tom Davies who I have never heard of. If this is how your company responds to negative feedback you should be ashamed of yourselves! Extreamely Unprofessional

Ive always been happy, but this year, Im having trouble getting them out to do weed control. I got missed last week, when many of my neighbours lawns were treated. I called about it, but they arent sending anyone out to make up the missed treatment - just keeping me in the regular schedule. Its frustrating when I prepay the season.

I had a very positive experience. The results were excellent and I needed a re-application, which was done 24 hours after requested it. I would not hesitate to call them for any future needs and I recommend them for others. Thank you Weed-man Team

Always seem to have the same weed problems even after applications.the office team do not relay messages to field team. Not much follow up by office team to ensure the fields teammates are on the same wave length. This is the last year I will be using the services. If anyone ask my opinion in my neighborhood, I will tell them to look at another lawn service.

My lawn has more weeeds than it has ever had in the past. I had them re spray and it only ended up killing some of my good grass. Will never use them again.

Ive always been a guy who took care of his own lawn. But there never seems to be enough time in the day to do it right. I called a couple of companies to get quotes for mowing, weed control and aeration. One company never showed up. A second sent a young man who didnt really seem to know what he was doing and wasnt very professional. And then there was the Weedman rep. He was on time, professionally dressed and to be honest gave me a lot of confidence in his service. I decided to give them a try. That was two years ago, and my lawn has never looked better!! Its professionally mowed every week on schedule, and its never looked so healthy. I highly recommend Weedman and their team. Job well done!

Not very happy with the service up to this point... They give you very short notice when they are coming Less than 24 hours. My backyard does not have a gate so my two choices are to stay home from work and let them into the backyard or only spray the back. They will not allow for booked appointments or a flexible schedule so its very hard to get them in. If you are not home they dont spray and reschedule. There is no rescheduling they just call and tell you when they are coming. If you are not home tough. Next season I will be searching for a better company

These newer, less toxic type weed treatments are no miracle, but applied persistently, they do seem to do the trick. Once Weedman has you, they wont let you go easily. Be prepared for lots of upselling calls.

Two years ago, my lawn was in bad shape...thin spots and lots of weeds. Tyler came out to walk my lawn with me and go over which services could help improve the grass. He also gave me cutting and watering tips to help it along. It slowly and steadily improved to the point that last fall I had a lawn I was happy with. I would and have recommended them to friends!

I have used Weedman for my lawn care for the past few years. When I first started my lawn looked to be one of the worst on my street. I had one of the technicians come out and we looked over the lawn. He gave me tips on what I can do on my part to help get the lawn back. I followed their tips which was seed the thin spots, cut high and water. I did this along with there services. And now I can proudly say my lawn is one of the best on the street. Thank you Weedman for everything you guys do. I have and will continue to use and refer to friends and family.

they listen to your concerns and try to addressed them promptly and they always fallow up on the work they have done and reapply if it is necessary I would recommend them to take care of your lawn needs

Rude customer service who shrugs off problems rather than trying to help resolve them. Got an email notification today that my lawn had been sprayed for weed control but came home to find out that my neighbours lawn had been done instead...my house number is clearly marked on my house. I called customer service and they told me that the technician will be out sometime next week...am I crazy to think that maybe they should come out today to fix the error? I won t be back next year.

Have had weed man on the lawn for a couple years now. Ive seen lots of improvement in my lawn, and have received some good lawn care tips. I highly recomend them.

Weedman provides excellent service with quality products that adhere to current local pesticide laws and standards. They promptly answer calls in the office. My lawn looks great!

Customer service was hit and miss whether they were rude or helpful. Not once was our lawn weed free. A couple times they had to reschedule because they showed up with the wrong equipment. By the end of the season the quality went really downhill and you could see some streaks in our lawn where they sprayed but about 95% was untouched even though they claim to do a blanket spray. All in all my lawn looks worse after having their service all summer. They also kept hounding me to subscribe to more services at the end of the season calling all hours of the day. I will certainly not be going with their service ever again. Waste of money. Only gave 2 stars because they started out decent but ended terribly.

Had a weed and grub problem at the end of last year. It was late in the season so we were not expecting much. I have to say I was very impressed with the work that was done. Weeds are down dramatically and we have not seen any signs of grubs! Would definitely recommend these guys, they know what theyre doing.

When we moved into our house we had the worst lawn on the street. Tons of weeds, bare patches, brown spots. We tried to take care of it ourselves and spent tons of money on products that did not work. After calling Weed Man for help, we pulled a few weeds at the beginning, followed their advice on lawn care and within 2 summers they made our lawn the envy of the neighborhood! Price was, and is still fantastic, especially compared to the amount we spent on products and our labour that first year. Also their customer service has always been excellent. I highly recommend Weed Man!!!
