The service guy was very friendly and helpful. He agreed that the 18 dead spots were caused by a Crack in his fertilizer tub that spilled too much on a turn or at a stop. He said the grass should come back eventually. We have already paid for this service at 160.00. I feel we should be refunded a fair amount to account for Eventually...in my well landscaped lawn with my hard work and the 7 years of your service.

Lawn treatment was done today. Tech came to door and also remembered to close back yard gate. TruGreens lawn care is adequate in keeping weeds under control.

1st appointment was moved up, and was told they would be there the next day. That next day, I asked throughout the day (x3) if the lawn people were going to show up. I was told that they had already left for the day to do lawns. They finally showed up at 4 PM after I texted them again later in the afternoon. Not a good experience so far.

Keaton was so kind and professional as he answered all my questions before he applied the product. When he was finished, he came back and did a follow up with me. I liked that he took the time to talk to me and I didn t feel like he was in a super hurry and didn t have the time to deal with my questions. I can t wait to see how my lawn looks afterwards!!! Overall they do a good job for routine services. I wish my sticker grass was routine. If it was their rating would be even higher. I hope to use them again if they can find some way to successfully address this problem. As a follow up to this, I received a call from TruGreen about two days later and they are going to come out and take samples to assess their next effort. Nice. I ll let you know how it goes.

I got home this evening to find that D. Brown from your company had been here and left his door hanger which was fine, however what wasnt fine is the fact that he removed a competitors literature and quote to leave his. I know that the literature was removed because I had spoken to the other rep through my doorbell when he was there. If this is the ethics and tactics that your company uses we wont ever be a customer and would suggest that anyone else avoid using your company.

The representative was so informative and polite that we couldn t pass up the opportunity to try their services. Today our lawn pest control representative showed up, Ethan. Ethan is wonderful. He was extremely knowledgeable, polite, on time, informative, and personable. He represented the company in a stellar manner. He explained the process, answered many questions, and we talked about mosquito and tick control extensively. We haven t had time to see if they service is effective, but we were very impressed with the representation of the company that Ethan performed and are excited to use the program for all of our lawn needs. If this pest process works effectively, we will also sign up for the grass seeding and lawn care programs.

True Green is truly a professional lawn service. I had True Green for the first 3 years after I moved to Republic. My lawn was a deep green with no weeds or spots. The forth year another service told me that they could do the same job for half the money, so I dropped True Green. BIG MISTAKE! My lawn started getting weeds and spots, the grass color turned to light green. I cancelled the cheep service, called True Green and by late spring my lawn was well on its way back to beautiful again. I will never change from True Green again.

Professional and Cost Effective

Signed up never once sprayed the entire property. Have each spraying on camera. We sold our home after mid way through summer. They said we would be getting a check in the mail. It s been a month w three phone calls and still nothing. Very bad business practices. This last call she had me on a computer she claimed and it echoed so bad u could only hear bits and pieces. Said she couldn t take me off speaker? Never had that issue on the other two phone calls!

Just started using true green, the neighbors across the street have been using them all year, I was impressed, so Ill wait and see what happens after my application

Isaiah took time to hit every bush, plant, bushes, and trees. He did a fabulous job I so happy now let s just hope the product works because there has been several times that I ve had to have them come back and retreat but I don t feel like I will have to this time.

My service tech Ronald was on time and very professional. He answered my questions about the various grasses in my yard. Based on his comments I thought it made sense to purchase the aeration and over seeding service. Looking forward to a beautiful lawn next year.

This is the second time I have had services with them. The first year was 2020, and they failed to properly treat for the mosquitoes, fleas, and ticks. We had issues with all of those things the entire season. The next years rolls around after I canceled services and they had been coming onto my property and treating, which caused my dog to lose her fur! They did finally cancel and not charge me for the unauthorized services. So this year I hired them to treat my lawn for weeds and fertilize as well as the bug package. They have been here 3 times now and still not treated my back yard the weeks are out of control! In both the front and back yard. I cant let me kids play in my yard because of the crabgrass! They are supposed to be gone! Im super frustrated and do not have the money to be paying someone to not do their job! This year when I called them, I spoke with someone and told them I would think on it and get back to them because I didnt know if I could afford the price I was quoted. Within 5 or 10 minutes of that phone call the same guy called me back and pressured me into it. I will be calling them tomorrow and asking for a refund and canceling services.

We started using TruGreen last winter. We had them winterize our lawn. They have been out twice since March and WOW! Our lawn has completely transformed. Zero weeds, zero random patches of random grasses, our dead spot are gone, our lawn is GREEN AND LUSH. I am beyond happy with our service and we will continue to use TruGreen.

I have used TruGreen for years. I never noticed they were ripping me off until I installed cameras. On more than one occasion the technician failed to treat my backyard and still charged me for it. I thought after catching them the first time it wouldn t happen again but it did. I just wonder how many times they did it before I got cameras. I did note last time that from the time the vehicle arrived and technician got out of vehicle, treated yard and departed the property was a whole nine minutes.

DO NOT RECOMMEND Very angry and dissatisfied.This service just wants your money, Trugreen has come to our house multiple times and after installing cameras we have noticed all they do is set cones out, sit in their vehicle for 15 minutes or less, put the sign up and put the receipt on the door and leave. THATS ALL THEY DO.

Not the yard I was told I would have this year. Wasted my money on this service. Very disappointing for the price I was charged.

So far the service had been fine, in fact it was good enough that I added a second home to my account. However I wanted to change the service being provided for that home and thats when things fell apart. I just want to make a change but cant get it done. Ive called multiple numbers provided online but they all route you to a call center and the wait was 1-2 hours. Not acceptable. I finally tracked down the local number (Springfield, MO) and was told by Amber(?) that she couldnt help me and that she would have to either route me to the same customer service desk or I could go online to their website. I had another unrelated question but before I could finish asking she cut me off and said she couldnt help. Not even knowing what I was going to ask. EXTREMELY rude and poor customer service. So now, when I FINALLY get in touch with someone, Im going to cancel the service on both homes (several hundred $s worth) and find a company that understands that service doesnt stop at the lawn, customer service matters too. Especially in todays economy. Thanks Amber for letting me know how your company truly operates so I can move on.

Fertilized plus weed control and professional and courteous.

I am trying to get my service restored. Wait time for a call is over 3 hours. What? Is there no one working in the office at Tru Green? I did get a call back once, and then they put me on hold. After a few minutes a recording came on that my wait time would be another 3 hours. What on earth is gong on that you cannot speak with anyone?

Not a good experience. Called back after making an appointment to ask a question. They kept transferring me to different people. I lost count after 5. Never did get my question answered

Horrible customer service. Dont expect to reach anyone at local office. Prepaid is only prepaid until they charged my credit card without letting me know. We will not be using this company any longer.

Not great

I paid for a one year service and specifically stated I only wanted a one year service. But the next thing I know they started charging my credit card again. Without my consent.. so I called and and complained and after about 20 minutes was told a supervisor would take my call after another 15 minutes I finally gave up. Tried calling again and got put on hold for 10 minutes when a recording told me I had a 15 to 20 minutes wait.

Wish I would have read the reviews (especially those on BBB) before paying this company any money. It seems my problem is a common one: technician comes to the house, sits in the truck for a few minutes, puts a receipt on the doorknob saying the job is done, and then drives off without doing anything. I personally witnessed this happen and have made several complaints to no avail. Ended up just cancelling my service and taking the $100+ loss as the request for a refund has been met with nothing but silence. Life lesson learned: steer clear from TruGreen.

I had the service for a year and they definitely helped my trees. My trees had bag worms, leaf fungus, and in need of fertilizer.

Been a customer for 2 years and they always took the payments out automatically, 4 months after the last job I get a collection bill in the mail saying theyve tried to contact me, well I changed my phone number and your bill is in the mail...I will no longer use trugreen and neither will anyone I know

I had this co. For about 2 years and my started with hardly any weeds in it. In two years I had more weeds in it than ever. I made a comment to them and they wanted to sale treatment for my trees. I ask why would I have your Co. Do that when you cant even control the weeds. They never stop bothering me on the trees. I told them dont come back. After three weeks there manager shown up. Had to tell him Non means No

Waited forever for them to come out. Once they made it here, they barely sprayed the yard. You cannot stand in a circle in the front yard and hit the entire thing. When rep moved to the back yard, he drug his hose through our landscaping and broken 2 lights. When he came out of the back yard we were home and had the front door open, he just set the broken pieces up in our rock and left. Never said one word about breaking them. Then we complained and received a call that was just trying to rush us off the phone and the lady talks over you. For the price, just do it yourself or hire someone else.

Started out great towards the end of last year. Kept on and kept on trying to sell me additional services. During my last treatment I informed the guy that during this time of year my lawn always develops a fungus or disease because of all the spring rains. He sold me a $79.95 treatment for that. But, he left without applying it. I called and was told they would schedule that at a different time. A month passed and sure enough my lawn was turning brown from disease or fungus and I called again to ask for that service I paid for to be applied. I was told she was scheduling it and it would be done on Friday or at the latest the following Monday. Never heard from them. Called and waited on hold for 5+ min and got a very rude sounding girl that was hard to understand. Asked to speak to someone else and she hung up on me. Called back waited another 5+ min and canceled my service with this company. DO NO USE THEM. THEY ARE ONLY CONCERNED WITH UP SELLING YOU ADDITIONAL SERVICES THEN WHEN YOU PURCHASE ONE THEY JUST DISAPPEAR

I used Tru Green services for several years but have not used them for over 2 years. They were always trying to pressure me into additional services with frequent unsolicited phone calls. I wanted a quote on core aearation so I thought I would give them a try again. True to form, the salesman once again used very high pressure sales tactics! When I thanked him for the information and told him I would get back to him if interested the phone just went dead. He hung up on me without even saying thank your or goodbye. How rude! I am done with TruGreen. Will never call again.

As of right now this is just for customer phone service, just wanted a quote, told a price for 8 treatments, wanted less, told another price for 5 treatments, stated wanted to check another place, given another price, told needed a card to hold price but would not be charged, ( husband was doing) unfortunately gave card, it was charged, and appointment now showing without confirming we were going with them. Suspicions are they possibly work on some sort of commissions/bonus for how many accounts they sign???? This is not a way of doing honest professional business, no receipt, no contract, nothing, just charge the account told to hold quote. BEWARE.

I had tried to use tru-green a couple of years ago because when I lived in Wisconsin I had the best service and of course it was local. I went to the home and garden show and set up a plan. I waited a month for someone to call to set up an appointment. I got my appointment and guess what they didnt show so I called and they rescheduled me so I had to miss another prior engagment for them to come. Of course again no call no show. I was very upset about this. I called and of course all they could do was say were sorry we can reschedule. Ok now 2 months have gone by and still no treatment. So I cancelled my service and treated my lawn myself. So one day we were gone and we come home and theres a bill on my door that they had serviced my lawn. Well I called I did not pay for that service it was cancelled. My neighbor saw them enter my fenced on back yard they said they were there maybe 10 minutes. It takes longer to treat my yard. I have never had such horrible service as I do in Missouri. It that new call center that takes care of the business now they cant get it done. Its not about the customers anymore. Go back to being local and caring. I have to say others in my neighborhood use the service and the lawns look terrible. Ours truly is the best treated lawn in the neighborhood. I believe my neighbor is going to cancel because they cannot get their treatments and and the quality service provided. They had to reseed over trugreens job.

Trugreen is really making my lawn look better. Ive tried for years to control the weeds myself with little success. After just one year my lawn is very much improved.

I have had nothing but frustration when dealing with TruGreen. They do not communicate when there is an issue, they make promises to come and treat my lawn and dont carry through with their promises. I was also assured a manager would call me when I had these issues, and I never received a call. When I called to ask my salesperson a question, he actually cut me off because he had another call coming in. I would definitely NOT recommend this business to anyone as they have proven to me that they do not value their customers.

Just received unsolicited flyer from the company where they have evaluated my lawn without my permission or request for their service that included a long list of issues with my lawn. Their evaluation has only revealed their inability to correctly diagnose my lawn, and how they will recommend useless services to anyone they can. The evaluator should do a little more research before calling things weeds, and not come into my lawn uninvited. I will stick with educated advice (you know someone with a Masters of Science in Plant Science) on how to care for and treat my lawn. And I recommend to others to do the same.

Theyre expensive, lazy and not very intelligent. Ill never waste another penny on this company.

Trugreen has been my lawn caretaker for well over a decade and my satisfaction level is very high. When driving down my street my lawn is easily identified by shade of green and the absence of dandelions, clearly outlining my property boundaries. In must also add that Trugreen personnel have been most diligent in keeping me informed about lawn status and processes that I could use for lawn improvements.

These guys are great...show up on time....never leave a mess..always notify you....leave door tag with information regarding what they have done. Their prices are competitive.They make me happy!!!

This customer cannot bill correctly and they call me three times a day and is bothering me all the time!!!

Have called multiple times over the years I have had them, never been happy with the weed control factor. I always get the same response to wait 2 weeks etc. Next time I mow, more weeds. Call again and they always hesitate to send someone out. Hard to get them to come back out and when I watch the guy do it he goes so fast with such a low concentration of spray. I know why the weeds dont go away. Every year has gotten worse.. Cancelling today. It is more expensive to do it myself, but at least I dont have to worry about the weeds. Had enough

The first stop for weed killer and fertilizer seemed timely. I have a concern about bare spots in my back yard which I thought TruGreen would re-seed (thats what I was told last year when I started with you), but I have not evidence that his has happened. I am pleased with the weed control, but need to improve the grass quality.

I set up my service in march for fertilization and a Spring aeration. They came out for the initial fertilization no problem. We had discussed doing the first fertilization then three weeks after that doing the Spring aeration followed by the second fertilization 4 weeks later. The weather had been inclement through most of the spring so I didnt think anything of it when the aeration was not done by the time of the second fertilization but a couple weeks had passed since the second fertilization and still no call on when the aeration was to be completed. So I give them a call and come to find out they had erroneously scheduled me for a fall aeration instead. I thought no problem, we will get it rescheduled for spring and it will be done the next week. The representative apologized and said I would get a call the next week telling me when the aeration would be scheduled. So I wait, and low and behold no call. So I call back at the end of the week to see what happened. The representative states they scheduled it for the coming Sunday, but they do not perform aeration services on Sundays so it will need to be rescheduled. She states I will get a call the next week for when it will be scheduled. I wait the next week and get no call again. So, I call back once again. I am informed that they have put me down for the first week of June this time and I should get a call the beginning of that week for the time when the service will be. So I wait again, and again no call. So I call back. This time the representative sees that I was scheduled for the first week of June and they didnt come out. She apologized and said she would escalate the issue to her managers and I should receive a call on Monday from the manager. I wait and no call on Monday. I call back on Tuesday and the representative states she would again escalate the issue and I should receive a call that night or the next morning from the service manager in my area. Once again, no call. I call again today and find out they had scheduled me for a Sunday again and the representative said it would be scheduled for the week of the 17th and I would receive a call. It has now been over 2 months since the aeration should have been performed and still no progress. Horrible customer service and use of scheduling software.
