My son started 2 week service for me on mother's day, they came and did a good job. Then the next scheduled mow they just skipped over my house. Which just schedules the house out 2 more weeks. My son was told he could request reschedule which he did but hasn't heard back. It's been 3 weeks now and he can't get anyone from nixa lawn to come mow. We are trying to find anyone without a full schedule already to mow our grass every 2 weeks.
While I did not hire these guys to do any actual lawn work I did have an altercation while driving that involved this company. I was driving down Campbell and it was bumper to bumper traffic which yes is annoying however I wanted to be nice and let these other cars get out in front of me and the driver of one of these companies trucks behind me, HONKED his horn and shook his fist at me! I do not understand how you can be so rude and not wait the 10 seconds it takes to be nice! And I'd hate to see how you all treat actual customers, teach your drivers to not be so impatient on the roads especially in company trucks!
This crew is professional & definitely won’t disappoint! They solved my water drainage problem and created a beautiful space for my family to enjoy for many years to come. I highly recommend Mike, Josh & the rest of the crew for any lawn care needs!
We had an issue with water getting under the house, because of a back yard sloping back toward the house and because of downspouts emptying too near the foundation. Nixa Lawn put in a drainage system with collection points in back, and ran all downspouts under the ground and away from the house. We've had four very significant rains since the work was finished, and the sump pump hasn't kicked on even once. Can't say enough about the great work these people did for us. Nixa Lawn gets our highest recommendation.
I do not use Nixa Lawn Service but apparently my neighbor does. For the past three weeks I have suspected they are blowing the leaves from his yard into mine since mine had been freshly mowed and mulched, but there was a clear pile of leaves that started at our property line and had obviously just been cleared from his yard. Yesterday someone was at my home and caught them doing it. I called the office to report it, but they denied being in the area, even though their name and logo were on the white pickup parked in front of my neighbor's house. The individual at my home sent me photos of them blowing the leaves into my yard as well as photos of the truck itself. They did a great job on my neighbor's lawn by just making the leaves from his yard MY problem! I will never use a lawn service that is not respectful to my neighbors. Extremely unprofessional behavior!
Nixa Lawn is a top notch company. They did all of our landscaping and irrigation at our house. We have been using them for our lawn care for over five years and we always receive terrific service. Our lawn always looks amazing. They are prompt and thorough. They are always fast and responsive and take care of any issues that arise. I really can not say enough good things about the company and the owner, Matt.
Would recommend this company to all my friends and family. Had some miscommunication, but the owner called me himself and promptly apologized and handled the issue. The guys did a great job doing a spring cleanup for me. You can really tell the owner wants to provide great service and customer service! I don't expect a perfect company, but instead one that wants to do a great job and Nixa Lawn Service is just that.
Need to tell customers when they aren t able to meet their service needs due to labor issues.
I ve had Nixa lawn care rake my leaves and they now mow my yard. They always do a great job! I highly recommend them to everyone.
After a rough start, I wanted to update my review since I chose to go with Nixa Lawn. They have done great on mowing and will be working on my irrigation soon. I am glad I was able to get the service set up.

We had sod Installed in the back of our yard. They called the day before to let me know that they would be out the following day first thing in the morning. They arrived on site and installed all the sod within a couple hours. They were very hard-working and took the time to make sure that the sod was installed correctly and they cut around my fence post. This is true quailty work!! I would highly recommend them for sod installation.
I have had Nixa Lawn take care of the Midwest Family Broadcasting property for over five years and Im ready for them to do it again in 2019. They are a one stop shop. They take care of the mowing, trimming, irrigation end of season maintenance, snow removal, etc. Its nice having one company that can do it all instead of having to look for several companies. Very professional and great people to work with. They are licensed and insured, not just a bunch of guys with mowers and weed trimmers looking for work. Save yourself some time and grief and hire Matt and his crew. Having the grass cut and having the snow plowed in the parking lot will be one less thing you have to worry about in 2019.
Had some issues. Owner immediately reached out and offered to make it right.

I am very grateful for the quality of service and the fact they always go above and beyond when they are doing my yard. I have never seen someone who cares and looks out for their clients the way Nixa Lawn does.
I was told that my spring clean up would happen in early June. After talking with them when this did not happen , I was told they would put me on the fast track and get it done. I have returned from vacation in August and nothing was done on my yard. This is very disappointing because I trusted they would get the job done. I appreciate your quick response by my situation. Great company . We have referred many clients to Nixa Lawn Service for services that we do not perform , our clients were pleased and continue enjoying what Nixa Lawn Provides .
Finally received a quote from these folks, however, when I asked them to actually perform the service I never heard from them again. Either theyre too busy and cant manage their work, or they simply have terribl customer service.
Nixa Lawn has taken care of my mowing and maintenance for years. Always had a good experience and they did a good job. Most recently I had a large landscaping project at a new property. The trim work, bed work, dirt work, sod work, plants and bushes, up lighting, retaining walls and many other things they put together for us made it look like a 5 star resort in our yard!! Excellent job and design with friendly, hardworking laborers. I highly recommend them for the smallest to the biggest job.
We hired Nixa Lawn Service to mow our yard once a week throughout the summer. Several times over the summer our yard was not mowed and we had to call the office to make sure we were not charged for that week. The woman that answers the phone is usually short and somewhat hateful. When I inquired about my yard not being mowed one week because it had rained, she was hateful and told me that this was just the nature of the business and they cannot mow if it is raining. I explained to her that I understand that but I should not have to pay for service that was not provided. The next time the yard was not mowed (and it was not because of rain this time) I called and was told that the mowers said they mowed and she reluctantly said she would not charge me for that week. The mowers are friendly but they do not do a very good job of mowing. They get the job done as fast as possible and that seems to be the only thing they are concerned with. There is a section of our yard in between a utility box and our mailbox that is difficult to mow with a riding mower so instead of using a push mower or the edger, they just dont mow it very often. A couple of times they have left the gate open to our backyard. I will NOT be hiring them again next year.
I know all the guys very well and they have always done great work and charged me fairly. I would recommend them to anyone!
These guys are awesome. They do my own lawn and my subdivision. I really appreciate their excellence.
