AHS Property Care & Landscape Supply in Springfield

Called this place and asked two questions, do you have red mulch, and is it recycled pallet wood or not? I was told they did have red mulch and that it was bark mulch, not recycled pallet wood. Drove there to pick some up, and looked at the pile and at the price list, and it was in fact recycled pallet wood. I don't appreciate being lied to. Cannot recommend going here.

Great place ,fair prices super friendly staff,great soil ,bark fines are better at moulders in Kalamazoo, ahs is more bark chips if anything ,I'd be 5 star but who closes at 5 when most of America gets out of work and starts there projects then ....

I provide details and got an online quote to pressure wash our home and agreed with the estimate and the form says they will contact me for scheduling. I waited 2 weeks after not hearing anything and then I call before I go out of town and I had been scheduled without my knowledge while I was going to be out of town. I was rescheduled and adjusted my work schedule and in the morning they were to come I get an email I was rescheduled for the next day without even a call. The next day comes and I wait until lunch and look and I was pushed out 2 weeks without even a call. Mind you I had already moved my grills and smoker into my yard and don't want to kill my grass so I will be finding someone else. The pressure washing part of the company might be a good option if you have all the time in the world to wait for them and don't mind if they show up or not.

I purchased 4 yards of very good looking topsoil for a lawn repair project and had it delivered. Lady in the office and the man who dropped the dirt off were very friendly. Will purchase here again.

AHS was down the road on a service call removing leaves from a neighbor when I inquired about removing leaves from my yard which had all been put roadside for collection. The technicians I spoke with quoted me at a rate of $60 per hour which I agreed to. The 2 person crew accomplished the work in approximately 20 minutes time. I then received an invoice for 2 hours of time at a total of $120. When I contacted the office I was told the billing was because there is a minimum 2 hour charge on all leaf removal calls due to drive time to dispatch the crew then to haul away and dispose of the leaves. I could honestly understand even billing for 1 hour at this point since there is certainly a 10 minute commute to and from the business location to my house even thought the crew was already working on my street. I objected to this cost as this was not part of the verbal agreement I had entered in when I agreed to the quote of $60 per hour. Had a 2 hour minimum billing been established beforehand I most likely would have accepted the services still but I cannot in good faith recommend this company due to what I consider very unethical business practices.

I recommended this place to my friends, and they went there a couple days later, they were very happy about the service as well. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

The guy in the yard was very friendly and showed me their new cinnamon mix mulch and loaded it up for me. Always buy my landscape supplies from them! Very happy and the customer service is top notch
