Green Turf Pro Inc. in Spring Valley

Can t recommend this company. Shortly after they finished my yard equipment they installed broke. When I contacted them for repairs they told me they do not warranty the equipment and it was up to me to repair the broken parts. Then the piece of trash supervisor from the job blamed me for their defective parts saying I probably broke the equipment. Some piece of garbage blamed the customer. They don t want to warranty their work and some jerk blames the customer.

Green Turf Pro and the entire team deserve all 5 stars! We are super happy with our new turf! They went above and beyond in customer service! Very professional and beautifully done. We highly recommend them. Go with confidence. They re fabulous!

We wanted to pave an area of our backyard that had long been neglected. We were tired of the mud/dirt and weeds and contacted several companies for quotes. After meeting with and receiving quotes we decided to go with Green Turf Pro because of their quick communication, great reviews, personable representatives, and extremely reasonable and competitive price that no one could match. We also appreciated that Lou who is the Owner was the one who came to give us our quote and also our PM through the project. He was not pushy and was extremely quick and efficient when he came out to give us the estimate. He didnt waste hours of our time trying to convince us why we should choose their company. The project started the next week and we were immediately impressed by the efficiency of the team. They showed up and got right to work. All employees were clearly employed directly by Green Turf Pro as they all wore branded gear and drove branded trucks. Weve had issues with contractors in the past claiming to have their own crew only to find out that they subcontracted out the work as it was getting started. That definitely wasnt the case here. The crew was mindful of our property and did everything they said they would do. The project would have been done sooner but there was a miscommunication on the color of the border pavers. A quick call to Lou where we explained that we werent happy with the color and it was immediately resolved the next day. Once everything was said and done, they cleaned up and put everything back how they found it. That included trimming our wooden gate to smoothly go over the new pavers to re-laying the pre-existing turf that was pulled back to complete the work. Once the crew left, Lou came back to do a final walk through with us and later Angie called to confirm again that everything was to our liking and that no other work orders needed to be submitted. Overall we are highly satisfied with the experience and the outcome of the project. We would definitely recommend Green Turf Pro to anyone considering them. Thanks again Angie, Lou, and Team!

It has been almost exactly a year since Green Turf Pro installed our turf and it still looks great! Johnathan was very professional, communicative and asked us a lot of questions, we wouldnt have even thought of, in order to make sure the project turned out just as we envisioned it. Again, the turf has held up extremely well over the last year and I would absolutely 100% recommend Green Turf Pro to a neighbor.

Where do I start? Had many contractors come out for bids for our backyard and side yard remodel. Some contractors that out were either clueless, shady, or just didnt click with us. Called Green Turf Pro (GTP) and Jonathan was quick to come out for our initial consultation. What a great dude. Funny, friendly, easy going, and very knowledgeable. He really knew his stuff. I had a few other contractors come out the same day and no one stood out as much as Jonathan. Perfect sales guy that really listened and offered great solutions/options. We narrowed it down between GTP and another company and it came down to GTPs flexibility, pricing, and fantastic communication. Flexibility was a huge factor for us as we needed a team that can split demo and base/turf install on two visits. Most companies couldnt do this based on how they paid their laborers. Im guess most were not directly employed by companies and made sense to have their work completed in one day. GTP had their massive team of workers that were really great. GTPs team was tidy, polite, and extremely hard workers. You can tell they were absolutely great at what they did and took pride in their work. You should watch them install the base for turf. Like a well oiled machine. One man working the bobcat with the base and you had a line of 3-4 wheel barrels ready to take the base and deliver it to where they needed to. Then the turf going down and the base was compacted was so fast. They asked questions when they were not sure what the game plan was and offered great solutions. So fun watching the team knock it all out. There was this one gentleman, Eduen that really stood out for his hard work. After demo, and it was a lot of concrete, stone, dirt, and more on the first day they hauled away as much as they could. Next day, early morning Eduen was loading all the remaining concrete into the trailer (it was completely full after he was complete) all by himself. Finished off the hard morning by cleaning the driveway, again, all by himself. Holy cow! This guy is amazing. Then theres Angie. She ran everything behind the scenes. She sealed the deal with us choosing GTP after our first phone call as she was trying to source different material that we wanted for stepping stones. Angie was able to be super communicative and was able to follow up with any questions or concerns that I may have. I can admit, I can be needy, but Angie handled me just right! What a gem for GTP!! Jonathan, Angie, the rest of the team are fantastic people doing fantastic things. Look no further if youre looking for someone to help transform your vision into reality and get GTP out there. These guys were great from start to finish. Everything from the quote to the demo, install and finishing was smooth and flawless. The guys worked really hard and fast and were very professional. In total they demoed and installed turf for 2200 sqft for the best price I could find. I would work with again and I highly recommend.

This is the second time Ive had them do work for me. Last year in the summer, they did my front yard which everyone who sees raves about. Now it was the back yards turn and I must say its amazing! They were very thorough about their clean up too which means a lot when a construction job is being done. They went above and beyond what was expected. Thank you! We had the most excellent experience with Green Turf Pro. Working with Jonathan, Angie and Liz was a breeze. Our patio project looks outstanding, and we couldnt be any happier.

They were awesome! Juniors team was so productive for almost 12 hours! I can t say more about the hardwork juniors team did on my home. AndChris was our rep who came out to give us a free estimate. He came in much lower AND dealt with removing the stones and everything. I would definitely recommend this company and more people the group, shout out to Chris, junior and his crew and Alexis the project manager .

Jonathan was great from the very first interaction. I had a concern that our project would be too small, but he assured me that there was no such thing, putting my mind at ease. He was on time for his appointment, and was very knowledgeable and friendly while he was here. He took the time to explain the differences between the turf types in detail and was more than happy to help us come up with an ideal plan for our weird yard. Given he demonstrated such a high level of professionalism and care we had expected the cost to be excessive; but we were very pleasantly surprised when we received the quote. We had another bid from a private contractor and we assumed a big company would be much more, but we were wrong; it was a very fair price. Jonathan kept in touch with us after scheduling the appointment and was happy to answer any of our questions throughout the process. The crew showed up to do our yard right on time and they were very polite and hard-working. There was a small issue but it was fixed immediately after letting Jonathan know what had happened. We are very happy with the quality of the install, how it looks, and with the customer service that we received throughout the whole process. Thank you very much Jonathan and Team!

If you re looking for pet friendly, kid friendly, non toxic artificial grass at an affordable price I highly recommend you get in contact with Green Turf Pro and ask specifically to work with Angel Cervantes. He worked with us on our front and backyard plans and was upfront about cost and quality of product. We had our sprinkler system break during the beginning of 2020 and went through multiple companies and quotes and we just were not happy with what we were getting. We put off the yard renovation for almost a year until we stumbled upon green turf pro and I m so happy that we didn t go with anyone else. The quality of work that was put into redoing our yard 10000%. Thank you Angel and your team for our amazing yard!

The estimator for Green Turf Pro, came across as very sincere and knowledgeable and we liked the turf samples he brought. He is the reason we went with Green Turf Pro. Unfortunately, it went way down hill from our initial meeting. They are very busy and it took several days and phone calls to get the estimate sent to us. We set a date for the install and then they moved that back a day. Then the install was delayed a day because of rain. Not great communication.. We had discussed our irrigation and the information did not get passed on to the installers. Fortunately, the installers were helpful in correcting some changes that they made. With any turf job, try to get a breakdown of different options if you can: one just for all the prep work and infill material (this you will need no matter how they lay the turf) then get one for least amount of turf used and one for fewest seams in your turf. They usually do a price per square foot for the finished job - that will be with maximum amount of seams. Do that with any company you interview because all three we interviewed want to use the least amount of turf which may mean more seams. Or rough out the layout yourself and order extra turf so when the installers get there you can tell them how you want it laid out. The first two sections they laid look great. The rest of the yard the seams are visible. Our project would have required a patchwork of small pieces (see photo) that we were not happy with. We sent this photo to the office so they could see we needed more product. We were told that is how the Green Turf Pro owner wanted it done or we could buy more turf. So $250 and a day later we had more product. Unfortunately, there are still visible seams. If we knew we were buying more turf, I think the installers would have been able to lay it out better and we wouldnt have as many visible seams. They did send a second team to work on the seams. They are better now but still visible. You really do want to minimize seams. It will look good when they leave and have power brushed it but after a few days of use you will be able to see the direction of the turf as well as the seams. The turf we selected is marketed as non-directional. This is a fallacy, as there is clearly a direction the turf is laying, even after infill and brushing. Although all the people we dealt with from Angie and Liz in the office to the install team were very nice, I think the push to bid low price jobs done as quickly as possible caused the finished project to look like it was the lowest price done quickly.

I had a very good experience with Green Turf Pro Inc. Lou the project manager brought us samples of good quality turf on the date of our appointment. He was also very friendly and knowledgeable. We asked another company to give us an estimate as well, which was way over our budget and the turf samples that they brought weren t good quality. So we decided to go with Green Turf Pro Inc. I accepted the estimate, and paid my deposit to have them start a week later. Angie gave me a courtesy call to let me know the arrival time of the crew. The date came and their crew arrived on time and from what I saw everyone was very professional. We didn t come across any issues because of how organized they are. The job was finished and called the office to make my final payment. I also had to thank them and let them know how professional they all are. They forward me my receipt paid in full and from that date I haven t had any problems with my turf. My grandkids are enjoying it along with our dogs. Thank You Green Turf Pro Inc.

Within two hours we had an estimate forwarded to us. We couldnt believe the price that they were giving us on good quality turf. We gave them a call and their office assistant Liz scheduled us right away. After the job was done they forward us our warranty information. Everything went smoothly without any problems. The guys at Green Turf Pro were great. They were the third company that came to my house to give me a quote. I was blown away when Angel explained the process in which they were going to install the turf and the price. This is because the process of laying the turf was very similar to what the other companies said. However, the price was thousands of dollars less. This was a very simple decision to make. We are very satisfied with how the turf process went from start to finish. Angel was easy to work with and responded quickly when we had any questions. The team that installed the turf work very quickly, doing 2300 sqft with some tricky cuts in just two days! We are very happy with the finish product.

As new homeowners in Chula Vista, we were very excited to have more outdoor space for our growing family. Quickly we realized how much extra daily and weekly work it would take to take care of the small amount of natural grass we had in our front and back yards. Our HOA has high standards with regards to how they like landscapping maintained in the neighborhood which we appreciate. We called Green Turf Pro to get a quote on artificial grass installed as well as a putting green in our backyard for the kids. Angel, their sales manager immediately called us back and set up an appointment to give us a bid. He was professional, knowledgeable and prompt in getting us a great deal on our turf installation. Once we agreed on the contract the Green Turf Pro team set up a date in our time frame to get the job done. The entire crew was sweet to our kids, my wife and professionally completed their work in one day. We have been using the putting green every night with the kids and our neighbors have been continuously commenting about how great our yard looks. Their owner, Luis, even came to the property during the instal to make sure we were happy with their work. Very impressive for a small company that is doing great work all over San Diego County.

After water restrictions ended, my wife and I decided to install actual turf again. However, it was still difficult to maintain a lawn in the heat of East County and ours had more weeds than sod. So, we decided to get artificial turf and chose Green Turf Pros since they provided a high quality product (Coronado Premium) and the reviews suggested they would do a proper job of preparing the subsurface and installing the turf. In short, they exceeded our expectations. On both days of our installation, Lou (owner) was on site and answering any of my questions. When the crew showed up, they were pros. The lawn (actually weeds) were removed quickly, the subsurface was prepared properly with the right materials, and a gopher barrier which we needed in our area. All of the work is excellent and the finished product looks awesome. Finally, the crew was meticulous in cleaning our property following installation. If you are leaning toward artificial turf, be sure to contact Green Turf Pro.

My wife and I had our small patio area reworked. My wife did some research and found Green Turf Pro. She called to schedule an appointment and spoke with Angel. Angel was super nice and he contacted us promptly and came out within a day. I met with him and he was super helpful, knowledgeable and not pushy at all. He recommended specific turfs and even came out a second time to show my wife all the specific different options because Angel is super attentive. A few days later, 4 workers arrived to do the work and did a fantastic job. They were all super knowledgeable, hard working and rarely took breaks all while doing an amazing job. The amazing workers were named Giovanni, Jesus, Miguel, and Horacio and Angel came by on the day they worked briefly to make sure everything was going like clockwork. When they were done, they left an amazing patio all transformed and clean and my wife and I couldnt be happier. Very positive experience, hate to say it but much faster, cheaper, better experience with Green Turf Pro than Install IT direct. We first inquired and Angel came out, gave us a decent price but was a bit too much of a salesmen for our taste. Asked for someone else to work with at the company and Frank came and was perfect. He was very sincere and kind. I had Install IT direct do my backyard months ago and decided to go with Green Turf Pro for the front yard just recently because they covered more bases, asked us questions like if they needed to deodorize the turf for pets. Frank even through in deodorizing the backyard for free since the other company neglected to do it altogether. Green Turf could also do the yard immediately where as the other company had to wait for weeks. Would definitely recommend.

You can hardly tell that its been a few years since Ive had Green Turf Pro installed in my front yard. It looks as though it was installed today. Everyday I am please with the results. The compliments I get are positive. Im extremely satisfied and glad I went with Green Turf Pro! You will be too!
