We had Dwayne and his crew out for several jobs over the last few years . Last one being cleanup from Hurricane Helene and they went above and beyond to help us throughout the whole process of cleanup. Absolutely the best , honest people to do a job that had us in tears at first . We highly recommend them 100% and will use them for future jobs .

We had a major water drainage issue in our yard. I contacted Martin & Son. They came out the same week to review my project and got a quote and scope of work completed. I was put on their schedule and work began quickly. This was a 4 day job. The crew was polite and courteous. My 4 year old got to dig a little in the dirt that was moved and they let him sit on the excavator. The crew worked hard and respected the property. They kept us informed during the entire project. Our yard was restored back to original look once the work was completed. Most importantly, the drainage solution works to move water from our backyard. I am pleased with Martin & Son and would recommend them to others. I would use them again should the need arise. Thank you Martin & Son.

Sheila was a great communicator, and made sure we knew what was going on with our residential project timeline from our first conversation through project completion. Dwayne came out and made sure he understood exactly what we wanted, and made helpful and reasonable suggestions based on his experience. The whole team worked quickly and kept our property tidy throughout the job. They literally all went above and beyond for us. We are so happy with the results of our job with Martin & Son, and would definitely recommend them!

Leaving 2 stars because Sheila was very nice in our initial conversations. Dwayne was a tad unprofessional and frankly a bit rude. We were told netting would come up in an email correspondence ( not in the initial quote, just to clarify) but when I brought this up with Dwayne, they said that wouldn't happen and that it was too late to cancel or reschedule. Mind you, they had just called the morning of the job without much warning. He then hung up the phone on my wife after not letting her finish a sentence. I would have been fine to reschedule and pull it up myself, but that wasn't in the cards because they were already on their way. Oh well, live and learn! best of luck! Included is the email screenshot saying the netting would come up.

Martin and Son completed my driveway with milled asphalt the guys did a great job very professional group. They also put in a drain behind my workshop garage looks good. I only gave a 4 because the drain has not been tested yet waiting for the next big rain. I was pleased with the entire process Shelia kept me informed everyone showed up when scheduled work completed in a timely manner.

I do not recommend this company. Here's a play-by-play of my experience: We had been planning to use Martin & Son Contracting to have our yard reseeded for the past month. We were told by Sheila (who is actually very nice, by the way) that they would be able to pull up the plastic netting that was there from the sod that had largely died (there's only a small amount -- we already got most of it up.) They hardly communicated with us until yesterday morning at 8am when Dwayne called saying he was on his way and would be there in an hour. 1 hour is not enough advance warning to have people coming to your home after weeks of wondering when they might be coming out. Despite that, we tried to confirm that they would be able to pull up the netting, and he said they would not. He would not stop talking over me on the phone. I asked him to please let me speak. He was very emotional and said "Forget it" and hung up on me.

Sheila, Dwayne, and the Martin & Son crew were great to work with for our backyard drainage project. They recommended a couple adjustments to the initial plan so that we could stay inside of our budget. The work started on schedule and they did a great job. When it was discovered that an additional element was needed, they were able to come out the very next day to perform the work. I highly recommend Martin & Son Contracting for your next drainage or grading project.
