Foolishly paid before the job was completed because we thought we could trust it would be finished based on past experiences with this guy. Even though before they even started the job, the day they were supposed to start, half the day past by before we even heard anything and that was only to say that they wouldn't be able to do it that day, couldn't get a dumpster. I knew this would happen because it happened 3 yrs ago when we used them and immediately had second thoughts. Never showed when he said he would and then always one excuse after another, broken promises, false hopes, etc. Was left with an entire tree to dispose of after it was cut. Was told four times that he'd be back to get it and never showed up and then just stopped responding. Will not use or recommend him ever again.
In march 2023 I hired Chris to trim a tree for me in the process one of the limbs fell on my fence damaging one panel. He told me then that he had ordered it from Lowe’s. Waited a while text him. He then told me that Lowe’s ordered the wrong color. Waited a while. Text him again. He didn’t informed me that he was on vacation and he did have the panel and he would do it when he got back, well that was the last time I heard from him and here it is a year later March 2024. I am a senior citizen living on a limited income. I can’t believe that he would treat someone that way I would never hire him to do work for me again and I can’t believe all the reviews that are good that he has gotten so just to let everyone know, be careful if you deal with this guy
Hired Chris and his team out of 3 estimates I got from other downriver companies based on a referral from a friend of mine to remove a dead maple on my fence line. He is extremely knowledgeable and what stood out was he didn’t just show up, give me a bid and leave, he took the time to talk about options and see where I was at in my budget. He was the only company that actually took that time out to really understand what his customer wanted. His crew showed up 2 days later, got the job done that same day and i am extremely pleased with how everything came out, Even the clean up, it looks like the tree was never there to begin with. I would highly recommend this group of hard working guys, every single one of them was polite and professional the whole time they were here!
We had Chris G's Tree Service trim all of our over-grown trees. They did such a nice job we also had them do my father's trees. Pricing is fair and reasonable. Every time we found a stray branch that need to be cut, Chris was very gracious. They delivered exactly what they said they'd do. His crew worked long, hard hours to complete the jobs such that we gave a tip. We would ask these guys back in a heartbeat. This team of guys are great Americans - the type that built America through grit, sweat and hard work. Honesty and Integrity - very impressed!

Not a good experience. Took upfront money dropped the trees and left a mess i had to clean up, this seems to be the pattern of the last reviews. Only visible piece of equipment is a chain saw.

Due to recent storms one of the large trees in my yard was blown over and through a referral from my neighbor, I contracted with Chris Gs Tree Service to cut the remaining tree down and clean up the fallen debris from the storm. Chris and his crew came and completed the job in one day. They were all hard working, professional and a pleasure to deal with. Everything was done safely and Chris provided the service at a reasonable price. It is definitely worth making a call to Chris Gs Tree Service if you are looking for a professional tree service at a fair price.
Told me since I had a veteran in the family they would do it for free. I couldn t believe it. Asked them free? Said yes. Then said they contract out stump removal which would be about 400. Came back with a bid of 3000. What? This is a tree I could cut by myself. Just really needed stump removal. Said oh you thought I said this I meant this. Would love to know anyone cutting a tree down that is out in the open for 3000. SMH. These reviews must be staged. No review over a year. Use a reliable tree removal service. All for if your starting a business and would probably pay more to help you out but 2000 more. And to say they would do it for free for veterans. Sounds suspicious. Don t waste your time. And when he gave me the bid he knew I wasn t going to take it. Was quick to leave. Playing the veterans card
Chris was very professional and he beat every estimate by 25%. The job was cleaned up very well. Im happy i saved 500$ and the job was very dangerous and no one got hurt.

Chris along with his young partner cut down a Red Maple for my mother in her backyard this past weekend. They worked very hard and transported all wood, branches and cleaned up her backyard with no mess on the ground . All this was performed during our first 4 snow storm of the year. Had L&C tree Service remove a tree and grind the stump for me and they was the best. They was very professional and fast. Cleand up my yard and made it look lime they was not even there
