Purnell left my driveway during a delivery and cracked a corner off. 20 to 30 drips of hydraulic oil was also splattered everywhere. Butchs crew was able to soap and scrub away the oil the next day... but they were unable to do anything for the broken driveway. They seemed happy enough to refund my $320, but they were not interested in going above or beyond that. I gave them 8 weeks to come up with an alternative solution.

Zack delivered mulch to our home today at the time we requested He was friendly and put the mulch where we wanted it. He did good job and it took only a few minutes. Ordered from Rochester Hills site under John Stankrauff.

Mains is great local area business. Been using them for over a decade. Their drivers are considerate of your property and take the extra time to unload mulch/dirt/rock exactly where you need it. In the last few years theyve upgraded their trucks so you dont have to worry about them dripping oil on your driveway or vehicles that are polluting the environment.

Visited Mains for the first time today. I was finishing a DIY patio at my sons place. We needed only one 8 additional pavers and few places sell the style we had in quantities less than a pallet. Mains sells by individual paver, layer of a pallet or full pallets. I worked with Leslie and Abbie to place the order. They confirmed what I needed was in stock and quickly processed my order. Proceeded to the yard and was quickly loaded. All staff was professional and friendly. I will be back.

Ordered from Bordines in RH, from the person taking the order to the deliver guy, they were all very helpful and accommodating - weve ordered mulch from them in the past, good quality and reasonably priced - special shout out to the delivery guy Brian - did an outstanding job meticulously dropping 10 yds of mulch in a very narrow curved driveway, without getting it on the grass! definitely excelled in geometry :)

Answered phone promptly; took the order quickly and accurately and delivered the landscape materials the next morning as ordered. The delivery person was friendly and careful. An overall excellent job.

Delivery driver was super rude from the moment he pulled up. He didnt call ahead of time. As soon as he pulled up I met him at the end of the driveway. he stayed in the truck. Didnt wave me over to chat with him. I thought he might be on the phone or something. Eventually he angrily waved me over. He was short and rude the whole time. Refused to drop the compost in the back yard. There is more than enough space to get the truck back there and the dirt is plenty dry. No risk of getting stuck. 8 yards I now have to shovel by hand and wheel back. Will be the last time I order from here.

I went last week to buy 5 gallon LGX brick sealer and was for $184.99. I went today to buy more and they jump the price to $265. Very non stable prices.

Main s is top notch triple shredded with a great natural-like color. Looks beautiful!! The nicest staff ever! My husband and I were tackling a new yard installation on our own and were using Main s to supply our lawn soil. I worked with Sara(h?) on the phone and she was the absolute sweetest. So patient and knowledgeable about what we needed. They delivered the supply in less than 24 hours and were kind enough to give us time between deliveries as we were spreading the soil by hand. The lawn soil delivered was excellent quality. We did have a mishap where the delivery driver supplied more than we requested but the individuals at Mains were quick to apologize and fix the issue. Highly recommend this company. We needed 12 yards of hardwood, double-shredded mulch. Glad we decided to try Maines for the first time and it will not be the last. Your mulch was the best and cleanest load of mulch we ever received. We were thrilled with the consistency and the professional delivery service. The driver was very careful with unloading so it was placed in the ideal spot on our driveway, avoiding any spillage onto the lawn. It seemed so light and fluffy compared to our previous landscaping company. We look forward to calling Mains year after year. We have over 50 large blue ceramic flower pots sprinkled throughout our garden. This year, once filled with flowers, they will be more beautiful than ever.......... thanks to some picture perfect mulch! Come by in mid June and take a look to see for yourselves. We just spent $150 on top soil. Got it on a dump trailer, dropped it in the backyard only to discover big chunks of clay mixed in. After complaining, we were informed that due to large rainfalls the clay in the top soil formed chunks. We dumped 5 bags of peat moss and 2 wheel barrels full of composted leaves. Rototilled it twice. The soil is still no good. If you can form shapes out of your top soil, its not top soil!!! I will not shop there again!

Ordered 12 yards premium hardwood mulch. Woman who took my order was friendly and patient. Mulch is of good quality, delivery was on time (same day) and placed exactly has I had marked on driveway. Only downside is that its a bit expensive.

Mulch ordered with a delivery window between 8-10 a.m. At 10:30 no mulch and no call from Mains. I finally called them and they advised truck problems and would shoot for noon, maybe. Driver called and said driver scheduling mix-up was the problem, and mulch delivered after 12 noon. Seems like customer service is lagging and wonder why they haven t figured out delivery process by now? Maybe the Bordine s location is overload on their system. Won t use again. Back to Orion Stone for mulch going forward.

I had 6 yards of cedar mulch delivered from the Rochester Hills location. As experienced in the past several years, it was very good quality (very few large pieces of wood). The staff was very friendly - I had left a voice message and received a return call within 30 minutes! I usually make 2-3 trips with my trailer because I do not always know how thick Ill need to spread... I went with delivery for the 6 yards - the $45 charge was well worth it. It was delivered while I was not home, but it was dumped exactly where I described/expected it. The driver even called me when it was being loaded to confirm delivery instructions. I really dont understand the negative review comments - I have never experienced this over the last 5-6 years. The staff is knowledgeable and professional. I will continue to deal with Mains Landscape!

My favorite place for DIY landscaping supplies. I will always go here rather than a big box store. Quality of mulch, topsoil, and other supplies are very good and prices are very competitive. They are always happy to help figure out what is needed. I can pull in with my truck and they will load me up, or for a nominal delivery charge they will dump at my preferred driveway location.

Landscaping companies are one of the worst customer service related in Detroit area. Mains is an exception in that regard. Their prices are high but quality is very good. Their transport fee is fair. Definitely recommend them.

We had 9 yards of cedar delivered. Top quality mulch for a great price. Delivery guy was nice to work with, and easily navigated our gate to the back yard, which is narrow. Was surprised how quickly they could deliver. Highly recommend.

I have purchased dark brown bark mulch from Mains satellite center at Bordines Rochester facility every other year for the past several years. The mulch I purchase lasts for two seasons. I have found the quality of the mulch from Mains to surpass other bulk mulch providers in the Rochester/Troy area. The price per yard was competitive. The gentleman who wrote up the order was friendly and informative. I contracted with Mains to have the mulch delivered to my home.
